On Freud's Footprints [Manoneno1 x LynxAmelia] [Inactive]

Logan just smiled to her and made a small hem to show his gratefulness. Then he got up and took his warm food and cutleries, sitting back. "So, why vegetarian? How did you came to that thought?"

"I just don't like eating things that have eyes," she said, munching away at the bread, "After all. eyes are beautiful things aren't they? And no, I don't eat eggs either. They have a growing creature that is likely to have eyes."

Logan nodded a bit slowly and hemmed. First he thought he could argue about eggs advancement as they don't sell fertiled eggs, but he skipped it by only professing: "Indeed they are. So, do you want to take more, go throught psychology more, go home or just discuss?"

After finishing up the bread that had been put out for her, Clair dusted her hands off on the plate, "I don't really know.." she mused, "I'm feeling rather sleepy though." She gave a small burp and an apologetic smile, "But I have to thank you for the bread. I liked it very much." Then she rubbed her eyes slowly and looked at her watch. "That early?" she asked to no one in particular.

Logan also glanced his black clock with a pout. "Time surely goes slowly... Do you sleep as much as human do? I sleep only two hours per night."

Clair chuckled softly, "I haven't slept much in the past few weeks. Been quite busy.." She rubbed her eyes once more and pulled her bag onto her lap and hugged, "I'm going to nap for a bit," she said rather childishly, putting her head on top of the bag.

"You can go to take a nap on my sofa also", he recommended with a slight smirk, getting his warm food from the microwave. Sitting next to her, he started to eat.

But by the time Logan had spoken, Clair's eyes had already fluttered close and she mumbled incoherently in response. Soon her arms went lax around the bag and rested on the table slightly, her bag with her head on top leaning on it as well.

Logan glanced her, jealous about her sleepgift. After eating his dinner, he headed to put their dishes in dishwasher and them he sat on the sofa and took his book, starting to read it.

Soon, her hands and her back began to lose tone and she nearly dropped off the chair. "Whoa.." at the last second, her eyes flew open and she gripped the edge of the table to steady herself.

Logan glanced to the kitchen as he heard her wake up and doing something silly. "It's more comfortable on the sofa, you got space here", he said as he pulled his legs together under his thights, giving enough space for her to lie on the coach.

"Ow," she muttered standing up and lumbering over to the living room, "Your chair hates me," she mumbled grumpily as she curled up on the sofa. It took her a few moments before she fell asleep once more, purring calmly.

"It does hate many people", he said with hem and opened his book again, watching her slepp a while. He started to think does she have anyone important in her life and other things what weren't really his business. Starting to read again, he was happy to get her next to him.

Clair slept for many long hours in silence. Only an occasional purr interrupted the quietness. She did not snore though, nor did she toss or turn. It wasn't like her to be so at peace in a strange place, but now she was putting herself in a very vulnerable state with a man she did not know even for a full week.

As he finished the book, he pulled out newspaper in Elf language and a pen, starting to fill an unfinished crossword, waiting her to wake up.

Hayley was a sound sleeper. She didn't wake up any lesser than 2 hours later. Sitting up a little, she smacked her lips slightly before yawning and stretching, quite unaware of where she was and who she was with.

"You slept like, two and half times longer than I do in night", was the first thing he said after he saw her waking up. It seemed like he were in a shower as she was sleeping, black wardrobe on and slightly wet black hair still firmly against his left side of face and other pulled a bit back behind the ear.

Clair blinked a couple of times before looking up at Logan, "Oh," was all she said as she glanced down at her watch, "By golly, it's late!" She hurriedly got to her feet. It was only then that she saw him in his bathrobe with his hair askew. Blushing in embarrassment, she headed into the kitchen to retrieve her bag from where it lay on the floor from her fall earlier, "My apologies," she said, "I hope I haven't overstayed my welcome."

Her embarassment made him laugh a little. "Good heavens no! I'm always happy to have guests in my house", he answered brightly and glanced the clock. "But yes, it's late. You better go if you have a boyfriend or something."

Clair let out a laugh of her own. "Boyfriend? Hell no. I can't stand that lot," she said playfully, emerging from the kitchen, "I would ask you if you had a girlfriend, but it probably wouldn't be polite."

Logan hemmed and smiled halfly, nodding a bit. "No, I don't. A boy- or girlfriend wouldn't do harm though. As my wife said I should just make myself happy in my Old Father Time", he answered with a shrug, raising his newspaper full of weird characters to his face's level. "Haven't bump on anyone suitable yet."

"Oh," she said, her eyes dropping in slight disappointment of unknown cause, "I guess I'll be going then," she said with a little nod as she headed to the front door, "Thanks for having me over."

"No problem, have a nice rest of the day", he started, squinting at her disappointed 'oh'. Hastily, he opened his mouth again and lowered his newspapers. "I just thought, maybe you can be over night? Just that.. I don't know, we have the same trip to job and it will become more ecological?", he stuttered out reasons with a slightly sheepish smile. He didn't know how he turned to that thought: he just came to conclusions that she probably wanted to spend more time with him or something.

Clair turned around, slightly confused, "But I don't have a change of clothes. Or a toothbrush," she mumbled half - heartedly. She did not want to be overeager about staying for the night, she knew it wasn't exactly polite.

"Yes, true.. I have my wife's clothes still here you could use them but I doubt I have unused toothbrush..", he said with a pout. "Well, we would see tomorrow anyway", he said with a small smile.
