So, what's the deal with language?


The Elves are going to have their own (@Atom when I wrote our history I just wrote that the nations communicated similarly so it didn't take long to break the language barrier).


I'm assuming since @Jabroni 's nation is mostly humans it probably speaks English (or another Earthly language, you can correct me if I'm wrong), so I just wrote that when the Elves found them that's when they learned English. Anyone else have a different language they speak, or will everyone have already learned English early on?

I mean, if you want to be 100% realistic I doubt anyone would speak English in this RP, but this IS generated by English-speaking humans so I think it's reasonable to think we make them speak English.


Just a romantic thought that everyone being in the universe speaks English.

Related question, did you have an idea how to handle the progression of time? I don't really like it when an rp becomes stuck in the first in-game hour. Maybe throw in a time-skip now and then or set real time deadlines for game-time actions. I don't know, just a thought.

most arachni just like all insects don't have vocal chords. Those who do are mutations, so only a few of them can actually speak common. The rest of them just buzz and click. I'm gonna make it so all the diplomats and Foreign Magistrates speak it, as well as the merchants and obviously people who go abroad,but everyone else needs to be translated by their slaves lol
