Can't believe this thread is six years old. Anywho:

• I don't know whether Dandadan qualifies as obscure, since it seemed like a big deal while the first season was airing, but I've yet to see an interest check for it.
• I got into Warframe a bit less than a year ago, and I think it has some potential as a setting (particularly the 1999 update).
• Lots of TTRPGs that I've gotten into but don't necessarily want to go to the trouble of GMing an actual game of. Current fixation: Wildsea.

For the most part, I feel like it's rare for me to find a traditional magical girl rp, idols, webtoons or any rps for slice of life or older series ;;

Magical Girl wise the most popular would be CCS os Shugo Chara, more obscure ones would be Sugar Rune, Magical Girl, Lyrical Nanoha, Phantom Thief Jeanne, and Twin Princess of Wonder Planet.

The older series I would love to see is mainly Zatch Bell, Tsubasa Chronicles, Beelzebub, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, or Natsume Yuujinchou. I'm kinda surprised there's not many rps based off of webtoons such as Solo Leveling or ORV. Another webtoon I think would be interesting would be Pick Me Up or something with idols like Debut or Die.

And I guess these are the actual obscure ones I'd want to do cause I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about these

I don't think I've ever seen anyone advertise for this one, but Altered Carbon would be such a fun world to RP - not sure if I'd want to use any of the official characters, but the world and the lore would make for either a great AU or a setting to borrow for some OCs.
