Fantasy Oblivion: Gone but not forgotten

[i'll go to the dining room first @Zer0 . Maybe @ShyEra can interact with @Masked Imperial ?]

She stood in front of a huge door made out of steel, beautifully decorated with ornaments and guarded with two giant sized knights that would make any wwe wrestler jealous. The knights raised their halberd in caution when they see someone armed approaching, but put it down when they see her and opened the door for her.

The dining room is amazing. It is rectangle in shape, it has two doors and one side of the wall are made of glass that reveals a beautiful scenery of the town and far beyond.

Inside the room, there's a long dining table and several plates of food on top of it. A pair of maids stood in a corner of the room, she somewhat knew their name. Mary and Jane.

She stood there, watching the view outside while waiting for someone to arrive.

Graceful steps echoed in a grand hallway as a regal queen with hair as white as snow crossed the marble floor followed by a train of servants.

'Why do I have bosoms . . . why do I have bosoms . . . why do I have bosoms . . .' thought Carlsyle nonplussed as the queen-him-glanced at her reflection on the polished shield of a suit of armor. This woman could have been Carlysle's older twin, or, well him as an older woman. It was uncanny.

The great doors to the dining room opened and a servant announced the appearance of Queen Sandell.

'She even has my name?!' thought Carlysle. He was a helpless observer trapped inside a body not his own-or perhaps it was his own? A long, long, time ago? If that was true, then his young self must be a reincarnation. His thoughts were disturbed when the Queen's eyes rested on Alexis-but, no, it wasn't the timid Alexis that he knew, it was an older bolder Alexis.

"Ah, prompt as always, Skyne." said the Queen gracefully, smiling. She sat at the head of the table where the maids waited on her. "Thank you." she told them delicately as they poured her wine and served the appetizer. "Please, sit." she told the knight.

Oh dear. Is that... Carl? She could swear that she sees him, but that's clearly a female. The Queen, in fact. The Queen smiled and greeted her, then told her to sit.

"Good morning, my lady." And Alexis wondered whether Carl will die of embarrassment inside. 'She' sat down, one of the maids approached her and poured in cold water for her instead of wine. "We are going out to Rohar tonight, yes? For the Grand Meeting, for rulers all around the World."

"Yes." said Queen Sandell, sipping soup. "Please remind me again, what were the names of the others who will be escorting me tonight?"

'Wow, a grand meeting.' thought Carlysle, wondering if there was a war. He willed the voice of his soul to reach Alexis, if Alexis was here in this dream at all. 'Alexis! Alexis, can you hear me?' he shouted in his real voice, though he felt a bit skeptic. Perhaps he was only dreaming, or maybe this was-if his reincarnation theory was true- just a memory where he could only observe.

"James and Aisha from the Elite guard and me. Just the four of us, we should enough to intimidate the other rulers." 'She' replied. "Also, about the troops, i suggest that we ask Northen rulers to send us some more soldier."

((@Zer0 Let's wait for @Masked Imperial @ShyEra before moving on to the memory of the chaos

ps: I am thinking of an RP sets in 'this world', several years after Oblivion))

-Nora Shimuya-

Time went by quicker than she thought - whether they were talking, eating or ...- and before she knew it, some had already hit the prepared floor beds or simply collapsed in exhaustion. Letting out a low sigh, she'd go get changed into a thin-stripped tank top and comfortable shorts; for the sake of respecting the guests. Lying down onto her bed, it would only be moments before she went to sleep.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Ooooooi, dumbo!" The platinum-haired Knight ran down the hall with an excited huff, before stopping in front of her fellow Knight. Subconsciously, Nora knew this other Knight well. "Sheesh - we're going to be late y'know?" She'd attempt to grab the Knight's arm and pull him "Hurry, hurry - we've got to prepare for the Grand Meeting." Puffing up her cheeks to a pout, Aisha attempted to force the other Knight with her. "Have you even completed today's drills?" Cracking a deviant smile, she makes momentary eye contact whilst walking. "Maybe you need a private lesson with Aisha~?" Giggling lightly, she'd attempt to have the two of them make their way to the Training Grounds. "Who knows when Queen Sandell is sending a messenger for us. We might not even have time for drills!" Subconsciously, Nora was practically screaming - who holds a guy this close?! Who talks like this?! I don't giggle! Dumbo isn't even a real word you ...!

@Masked Imperial

Enoch looked at the silver-haired knight Aisha, at said "Okay, okay! I'm coming, sheesh." Man, was she hyper. Enoch follows her, well not really, he was more being dragged along. "No, I have not, I just woke up!" In the back of his head, he felt like he knew her from somewhere. "So, uh, how are you doing?" Enoch asked as he was being pulled through the many floors of the castle. "It's pretty rare to see a female knight, I'm pretty lucky to see one most of these days. I bet I wouldn't have seen you if I hadn't gone to a 'pleasure house' last night." Why did he just tell a girl that he basically went to a brothel last night? She was a knight, and knights rarely visit their girlfriend/boyfriend but still. -Ewwwwww, I just went to a brothel last night. God, do brothels still exist? Maybe he could vis- nah. That's disgusting, paying a woman for her body. But it would be ni- shut up me. Get this idea out of your head.-

"As usual, crude, Enoch." Eyelashes flutter and eyes roll. "You're going to catch something at this rate, y'know?" Moments later they'd find themselves in a large clearing, decorated with racks of wooden weapons and training dummies, with a decent sized patch of grass in the middle for sparring. Aisha grabbed a nearby wooden quarterstaff with a square tip - clearly supposed to mimic a spear. "Private lesson time!" She throws her hand up into the air with glee childishly, before assuming a offensive position. "I've barely seen you swing, despite being in the Elite." The wooden spear spins around a few times with a grace and elegance only attainable through years of practice. "So go ahead - show show ..."

After grabbing a wooden training sword he walked towards Aisha. "Let's do this." Enoch grins like a madman, and charges towards her, wooden sword in hand. Man, was this fun! He really liked fighting, the adrenaline rush was the best. Approaching her he swung downwards towards the spot where her neck and shoulders connected.

((Who should win?))

@ShyEra

-Aisha O'Ankhe-

"Ooooh?" A deviant grin spreads across her face. She kneels slightly and lifts the spear up, holding it like a bar with hands on either side so to block the sword slash. She'd then take a leap backwards and stab forwards, attempting to get the Knight in the chest and push him backwards (though a real spear would pierce). "A bit wild are we?" Another giggle escapes her. "It's ok - I know how to tame." Once more, subconsciously, Nora continuously hit her head against a metaphysical wall. Please nooooo! Let me die here!

@Masked Imperial

Enoch bites his lip so hard it starts bleeding a little bit. He sidesteps the spear and stabs toward her left breast. "Make sure not to get mauled then." Enoch replies. He had a few more tricks under his sleeves, that he couldn't wait to show Aisha. In his subconscious, modern Enoch laughed, it was like watching a movie! This Enoch was savage, but Aisha was pretty cool all the same.

@ShyEra

-Aisha O'Ankhe-

"Watch me." Aisha did not have fancy things such as magic or artifacts, but her proficiency in the battle field could not be questioned. Like a snake, she twists and twirls past the edge of the blade with a side step and the arching of her back. Her other arm extends her spear in a trap-trigger like motion - meaning the blunt end of the weapon was sent to slap down on the top of the other Knight's head. A light, pleased giggle escaped the back of her throat from the maneuver, proving that she was clearly pleased with herself. All embarrassment aside, Nora couldn't help but romanticize the grace and swiftness of her 'ghosts' movements.

@Masked Imperial

"Damn." Enoch is shocked for a moment and grins before he is hit in the head by the stick. He screams a line of expletives and picks up a handful of dirt, and throws it towards her eyes. "Ooh, fighting dirty, no pun intended." Enoch is surprised at the number of curses old Enoch knows. He couldn't think of any words to say, besides what old Enoch just said. "Damn."

Dirty. A wide grin spreads across her face as she listens to the tsunami of curses that Enoch spews, she seemed just about to laugh, until a handful of dirt hits her square in the eyes. Fumbling, she lets out a light yelp before blindly rushing into the other Knight and basically stumbling into him violently - which may result in the two of them falling over unless he holds his ground. "Oi' -... dirty fighting! Not fit for a Knight." She mutters under her breath - her spear still in hand. Despite her best efforts, she couldn't really see much through the grime.

@Masked Imperial

"It works, doesn't it?" Enoch tries to sweep her legs out from under her. "Oooh, that might hurt." Enoch closes his eyes. He still had to had to hand it to old Enoch, he was pretty damn good at fighting, even though it was dishonorable to throw dirt in someone's eyes.

"Pffft - doesn't make it good." She is swept off her legs and falls onto her back - at this point, she has regained her vision. Proceeding to do a 'kick up', she gets back on her feet. However, rather than being poised for battle once more, she simply pouts. "That was so rude Enoch-... you've hurt my feelings." A low 'hmpfh' escaped her before she proceeded to remove the dirt from her hair and face. "Queen Sandell won't appreciate me showing up with a bunch of dirt in my face." Nora lets out a sigh - why does she care so much about appearance? Weren't they sparring just a minute ago?

@Masked Imperial

"Hah, I'm sorry for hurting your feelings!" Enoch replies, the second sentence stated obviously sarcastically. "Should I get you a towel or something?" Enoch feels awkward. He also feels like he should get another drink. He feels sore from all those blows. Enoch also feels awkward.

((Yes, that was intentional.))

[[ANDDD TIME OF CHAOS! Everyone is in the throne room!]]

As 'she' was enjoying breakfast with the white haired Queen, 'she' glanced to the window next to her. She blinked and everything is on fire. There's smoke, explosions. The horizontal walls are ravaged by black creatures, climbing over the wall. The gate is opened, instead of destroyed. The beautiful town has turned into a bloody battlefield. Alexis then realized that she no longer in the dining room, but instead in a throne room. She is fully clad in heavy armor, a square-shaped shield strapped on her right hand and a cape over her left shoulder. 'She' clicked her tongue in frustration and approached the Queen.

"Sandell, i'm going out." 'She' said. "Reinforcements should be on their way. I'll buy you some time."

@Zer0 @ShyEra @Masked Imperial

-Aisha O'Ankhe-

"Awww-... have you got a sweet side to you? Quite something for a brothel-goer." A sly smirk spreads across her face. However, before she has time for more conversation, a courier comes sprinting towards the two Elite Knights. Out of breath, he starts his sentence: "Queen Sandell requests your presence in the Throne Room." A nod was given in his direction before Aisha walked towards a nearby spring - washing off the dirt and drying it off quickly before running her hands through her hair. "Come on, Enoch - let's get moving." Nora was overcome with a sense of dread - and she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

It felt like only a second later - but Aisha was in the midst of a battlefield. Nora couldn't handle the sounds or the sights, but Aisha herself relished in it. "Up into formations! Spear-head spear-head!" A small group of soldiers rallied up with a 'Yes Knight!', before successfully fending off a small incoming wave of creatures. "Keep it up!" With insane agility and dexterity, Aisha made her way to the Throne Room, leaping over objects as if though they were nothing in her plate armor. On her way, she forced a handful of soldiers to come with her - watching them fall behind and struggle with her speed. Arriving at the Throne Room, she'd burst in and start positioning the new 'guards'. "One at flank, the other at the left - rest of you, you are hereby direct bodyguards of Queen Sandell. Feel honored in your new duty and protect her with your life!" The soldiers spread across the Throne Room as told, Aisha flashing Queen Sandell herself a smile. "Queen Sandell - do you know when reinforcements will arrive?" Her smile twisted a little - it was obvious that she was struggling, yet her carefree expression and childlike demeanor didn't let down. "After all - the Northern Rulers's soldiers are all pretty-boys~! I miss the eye-candy~!" A light giggle escaped her as she struck a casual position in large contrast to the situation around her; shouts outside, her bloodied spear ... but it seemed to give some sense of relief to the tense soldiers around them.

@Masked Imperial @too much idea

The tip of her spear is red with blood and some bloodstains are clearly visible on her armor. It's not hers, so whose it is? Aisha is clearly a knight of a higher ranking, and when she talks about the northern soldiers Alexis is pretty damn sure that she's looking at Nora. Is that her? Alexis doesn't really have enough time to think, as she is very surprised to hear what 'she' is going to say to her.

"Aisha," 'She' greeted the girl who just walked into the throne room and approached her, placing her hand on her shoulder and stared right into her eyes and whispered. "I'm going to cast a barrier around the castle, to give us some time until the reinforcements come and to give the Queen some chance. If... If for some reason, the barrier disappeared... The enemy is moving in."

@ShyEra @Masked Imperial @Zer0

"Uh, I'll join up with the other knights on the wall, I'll try to hold them off." With those words, Enoch sprints outside towards the walls and climbs up until he reaches where the invaders are located. It is utter chaos up here, with too much carnage and death to describe. Enoch steels himself and draws his sword. -"That is disgusting." This definitely wasn't a fairy tale battle, this, this looked more like real war.-

Queen Sandell was sitting on the throne, her gaze focused on something beyond the room. Her owls were in the sky spread out in the battlefield and she was looking at the entire struggle. Her mind was linked to more than two hundred officers and she was coordinating them all. It required so much focus that she was as still as a doll and only her eyes were moving.

Inside, Carlysle was overwhelmed, it was like watching more than one hundred live feeds of a first-person medieval fantasy game and talking and listening to them all at once in full volume. This inhumane multi-tasking was giving him a headache, he wanted it to stop.

She blinked. "Cast it now, Skyne." said the queen, standing up abruptly. "Osgiliath has been taken, our last defense has fallen."

She waved her hand and the air before her shimmered then an outline of electric blue appeared across and cracked the space. It widened to reveal another room with a colossal ornate gate, the same gate Carlysle saw in his first vision. This was a portal, exactly like the one he had opened beneath the soccer captain.

Goose-bumps ran down his spine as he put two and two together. This lady was him, no doubt about it. His young self was a reincarnation, and the same thing applied for Alexis, Nora, and Enoch. And for some reason, they were remembering their memories and regaining their powers. But why?

"Those of you tasked to be my personal guards, follow me." said the queen briskly, then swiftly turned and strode through the portal.

"Be safe, my queen." Skyne replied. That's 'her's name, or maybe that was her name? Skyne, she, turned around and left the throne room in a great hurry. She remembered running throught a destoyed marketplace when she saw her vision for the first time, maybe that happened after this? Skyne kept running and running and as she kicked open a door, presumeably toward a stairwell, Alexis jolted up awake covered with sweat.

"Jesus." She blinked. "W-What was that?"

@Zer0 @ShyEra @Masked Imperial

Carlysle was wriggling on his futon, asleep, with his brow furrowed, mumbling, " . . . the reinforcements won't reach us in time, Aisha . . ." He was covered in cold sweat and his hand suddenly made a funny waving motion. " . . . gate . . . while I open the gate . . ." and he did the same waving motion again. His face wrinkled in pain, then he unconciously kicked Nora's bed.
