Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Avery stayed close to him. She didn't want to move at all, she liked this far too much. As he rubbed her back, she closed her eyes.

Dane smiled. "Good to know." He said. "Though you're the besterererester." He told her, almost stumbling over the syllables.

Sam laid his head next to hers, and kept her close to him. He cradled her in his arms like a little kid, but he didn't care; he loved being this close to Avery.

Haley giggled, "Well, if you could pronounce it correctly, then maybe I would believe you." she told him and then shook her head. "But, you are the besterererererererestest." she said with a smirk.

Avery smiled a little. She hadn't been held like this in--she couldn't remember the time she was held like this. Her dad wasn't a really touchy-feely kind of person.

Dane laughed a bit. "I can so pronounce it correctly." He said indignantly. He smiled again. "You're the besterererererestererester." He said, not stumbling this time.

Sam smiled, he looked down at her and brushed her hair back. "I love it when you smile. It brightens my entire day up." he whispered and smiled.

Haley giggled and shook her head, "You're so adorable, Dane." she said as she played with his hands, she looked into his eyes, and stuck her tongue out playfully.

Avery smiled a little more at that. "Seeing you makes my day better." She told him softly. She looked up at him and kissed his cheek.

Dane laughed a bit when she called him adorable. "Yeah?" He asked. "Well, you're adorabler." He stuck his tongue out right back at her and then leaned in to kiss her.

Sam smiled, he kissed the crown of her head, and then smiled. "Hmmm." he sighed contently, and then continued to rub her back.

Haley wrapped her arms around his neck, and leaned her head up. She kissed him smiling as she ran her fingers through the hair on the back of his head.

Avery closed her eyes again. She could stay like this forever and still be happy. How she had lucked out here, she didn't really know.

Dane held her close as he continued to kiss her. He couldn't get enough of her. She was nothing like his friends thought. But she was everything he liked.

Sam let his eyes close, as he pulled a blanket over them, he laid back on the couch, and continued to hold her against him. He was not going to let her go.

Haley smiled as she continued to kiss him, she slowly sat up. She wrapped her legs around his waist, and began to tighten her grip around his neck.

Avery smiled a bit when he pulled a blanket over them. She moved a little and got more comfortable against him. She loved this feeling.

Dane held onto her tighter. One had stayed at the small of back. The other went to right below her ear. This was the best.

Sam opened his eyes, and tilted her head up, and kissed her. He pulled away slowly, smiled happily when he looked at her, and couldn't help but pull her even closer.

Haley pressed her chest against his, and let one of her hands fall to his arm, where it slowly ran up and down his biceps.

Avery's heart beat faster when he pulled her even closer. She could hear his heart beating too and it made her smile a little bit.

Dane liked it when her hand trailed along his arm. His hand moved from by her ear to the back of her head. He wanted to keep her close to him.

Sam liked hearing the beating of her heart. He smiled as he listened to it, and started to hum a tune that popped into his mind.

Haley smiled, she wanted to pull away, but she didn't want to. She eventually pulled her lips away, catching a breath, and rubbed the back of his neck.

Avery liked the tune he was humming. It almost sounded familiar, but she couldn't place it. Not that it really mattered, she didn't care what it was.

Dane smiled a bit as she pulled away. "Wow." He said simply as she rubbed his back. He still held her close. "I still think you're amazing."

Sam smiled, "Aves, do you want to start making dinner?" He asked, as he began to sit up. If she was hungry, he's make dinner now.

Haley blushed, "Thanks." She said, as she laid her head on his shoulder. She then got a text from her friend, and groaned. "Oh crap.. I forgot about practice!" She said and as stood up, and looked down at Dane. "I'll text you when I get done." She said before she ran out of the door. She couldn't be late, and she knew coach would have a fit if she showed up with a boy. So, she ran to the gym.

Avery looked up at him and nodded a little. She still like her nickname, 'Aves,' it was unique. She sat up with him and stayed close.

Dane watched her read the text and run out. He got up and looked out the door, about to offer her a ride. She was already gone. He started to then clean everything up and sat down to watch T.V.

Sam looked at Avery, and then picked her up in his arms, he smiled and then carried her to the barstool. "Dinner" he hummed as he started to prepare the steak and potatoes.

Haley arrived a little early, changed, and thwn started to do the usual routine. She really didn't want to be in gymnastics right now, but she loved it, so she would stay for the three hours.

Avery smiled a bit when he picked her up. Then she watched him as he started to make dinner. "Is there anything I can help with?" She asked. She felt weird just sitting there.

Dane knew that Haley would spend a few hours at gymnastics. So he put on a movie that he could use to pass the time.

Sam thought, "Could you mash the potatoes?" He asked, as he set the pot of potatoes in front of her. He had already chopped and heates them up.

Haley was doing her beam routine, when she flipped off of the beam, she handed badly, and on he ankle. She crawled up, and pretended like she was okay. Through the practice, her ankle bothered her. After she finished her routine, she took her car that sat in the parking lot, and drove to the ER. She was put in a room, and the doctors found her broken ankle.

Avery smiled and nodded. She took the pan and started to mash the potatoes. "I don't think I've ever had homemade mashed potatoes in forever." She said offhandedly.

Dane still waited to hear from Haley. When the movie was done, it had been almost three hours. So he pulled out his phone. There still was nothing from Haley.

Sam laughed, "Well, it's time we changed that, huh?" he asked with a smile. He brought the steak out to his grill, and started to cook.

Haley was put in a splint, and given crutches. She drove to Dane's house, and knocked on the door. She should have called, but everything had gone so fast.

Avery smiled and nodded. When she was done mashing the potatoes, she joined him outside. "The steak already smells good." She said.

Dane looked up as there was a knock on the door. He opened it and saw Haley. He smiled a moment before seeing the crutches and splint. "What happened?"

Avery had walked outside, and Sam wrapped his arm around her waist. "Well thank you." He said, and then kissed her cheeks before he flipped the steaks.

Haley looked at him and then at the ground, "I uh, broke me ankle at practice." She said, looking a her feet, very embarassed.

Avery blushed a bit when he kissed her. She loved steaks on a grill. She didn't get them much though. Her dad wouldn't let her cook on a grill and he 'never had the time.'

Dane smiled a bit again hearing her explanation. "I bet you won't do that again." He said. "I once broke my leg playing soccer." He told her. "Some idiot kicked me really hard."

Sam kept an arm around her waist, gently rubbing her side as he placed the steaks on a plate. He turned her around, and began to walk inside with her.

Haley looked up, and pushed her hair behind her ear. "Can... Can I come in?" She asked him, as she fixed her crutches, and waited for an answer.

Avery liked being close to him. She moved easily next to him. She walked with him inside, knowing that soon she'd have to go back to the park to get her bike and go back to the base.

Dane nodded quickly. "Yeah, yeah, sorry." He said as she stepped back from the door and let her in. "Still not used to having people that would be defined as 'company.'"
