Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Sam laid back in the grass, he continued to hold Avery against his chest, and watched the birds in the sky. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" He asked her kindly. He dreaded Monday, he wished that he didn't have to go to school, but he was.

Haley blushed, "Thanks." She said before she hugged him tightly. She nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck, and gave a relaxed smile.

Avery laid back with him. She thought about his question. She had told her dad that she would be out most of the day, so there wasn't really any harm in staying. Besides, she wanted to stay. "I'd like that." She said with a small smile.

Dane smiled when she hugged him. He heard his stomach growl quietly. "Of course I'm hungry." He muttered. "You want something to eat?"

"Great. Now I won't be eating alone." Sam said with a thankful smile. He kissed the top of her head and looked down at her. "I hope that you like steak and mashed potatoes." He asked, giving a playful smile towards her.

Haley smiled, she giggled at his hungry tummy. "Um.. Sure." She said as she started to stand up. She looked down at Dane, and smiled softly.

Avery smiled a bit when he kissed her head. She couldn't believe that this had actually happened. She didn't want it to end up being a dream or something. "I love steak." She said with a smile.

Dane got up after her and took her hand. Then he walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. "Now the issue is what to eat." He said with a smile.

Sam smiled, "Good, cause it's what we are having tonight." He told her, with a soft smile. He pinched himself, making sure that he wasn't dreaming.

Haley looked around the kitchen, and then grabbed an apple with peanut butter. She smiled and then ate it slowly. "Problem solved." She giggled.

Avery laughed a little. "Yay!" She looked up at him and smiled again. She was going to file this under "best day ever" in her memory.

Dane watched her and smiled a little. "That actually looks good." He said. He grabbed an apple. "I think I'm going to join you."

Sam laughed, he looked down at her and shook his head happily. He blew a raspberry on her cheek, and then started to tickle her.

Haley smiled, she held the apple with her teeth, and bumped her hip against his hip. She giggled, and continued to eat the apple with peanut butter.

Avery laughed a little when he blew the raspberry. Then he tickled her and she laughed more. "Not fair!" She said between laughing and breathing.

Dane smiled when she bumped him. Then he started to eat his apple the same way. "This was a good choice." He said, smiling more.

Sam laughed, he continued to tickle her, and then ended up on top of her. He looked down at her and then kissed her lips.

Haley giggled, she watched him, and nodded. "Yes, this is a good way to eat apples." She agreed, and dotted his nose with peanut butter.

Avery laughed and squirmed around. She was out of breath by the time he was on top of her. When he kissed her, she kissed him back.

Dane smiled. He crossed his eyes to look at his nose. "Why did you do that?" He asked, laughing. He did the same to her. "Now we're even."

Sam smiled, he looked at her, and then picked her up in his arms. He twirled her around, and then walked into the house, laughing softly.

Haley giggled, she shrugged, and then kissed his nose. "Because I wanted to." She smirked and then tried to get the peanut butter off of his nose.

Avery smiled a little as he picked her up. When he twirled her around, she laughed again. She held onto him as he carried her in.

Dane smiled as she kissed his nose. "I see." He said. He helped get all the peanut butter off his nose. "Though I think I will be smelling peanut butter for awhile.

Sam smiled, he kissed her forehead and then laid her on the couch. He tickled her again, and smiled happily.

Haley giggled softly, "Yay!" She said as the peanut butter came off of her nose. "Whoopsies." She said as she say back down on the floor.

Avery blushed a little more when he kissed her forehead. Then she started to laugh. "Still not fair!" She said as she continued to laugh harder. She tried to squirm away.

Dane smiled more. He joined her on the floor. He continued to eat his apple.

Sam smiled, "So fair!" He said, before he tickled her even more. He stopped though, and let her catch her breath. "All done." He told her with a smile.

Haley smiled, she finsihed her apple, and threw it into the nearest trashcan before she laid next to Dane; smiling.

Avery was almost out of breath and was gasping for air when he stopped. Her stomach hurt from laughing so much and her eyes were watering. She hadn't laughed like that in forever.

Dane finished his apple and threw it out. When she laid next to him, he moved and rest her head on his lap. Then he smiled down at her. "Best day ever." He said.

Sam laughed, he wiped the water off of her cheeks and then laid next to her. He couldn't help but smile as he looked into her eyes.

Haley giggle as her head was moved to his lap. She held her hands up, and took his hands into hers. "Best person ever." She said, pointing to Dane with a smirk.

Avery smiled a little more as he laid next to her. When he looked into her eyes, she faced him a little more. "You're different from other teachers." She told him quietly.

Dane smiled a bit and took her hands. When she pointed at him, he turned her finger towards her. "That's the way it should go." He told her with a smile.

Sam smiled at Avery, "I sure hope I am different from the old geezers that teach you guys." He stated with a chuckle. He played with her hair, and then smiled sweetly.

Haley shook her head, "No, like this." She said, turning her hand around so it pointed at Dane. She smiled and nodded slightly.

Avery smiled more. "I meant different from any teacher I've ever had." She said. "Like, way different." It was hard to put into words, but she'd find a way.

Dane shook his head. "No way." He said. "You got me beat." He turned her hand back around and pointed it at her again. "And that's final." He smiled more.

"How different am I?" Sam asked, and then started to twirl her hair around his fingers. He kissed her cheek, and then smiled softly.

Haley pouted, "Noo!" She mumbled, and dropped her hands to her side's. She looked up at him, and squeezed his hands.

Avery tried to put in words. "You care." She said simply. "Most don't. At least the one's I've dealt with." She added. "They didn't if something was wrong in a student's life."

Dane smiled more. "Okay, how about we're both the best?" He asked her. "Like the ages old concept of sharing?"

Sam felt his heart flutter, he wrapped his arms around her and enclosed her in a loving hug. "I will always care." He whispered before he kissed her softly.

"Fine, but you're bester!" Haley argued and giggled as she kissed his knuckles. She looked up and looked into his eyes, smirking.

Avery leaned into the hug. His words made her heart flutter a little. "That means so much more to me than you'll ever know." She said quietly.

Dane smiled and laughed a little. "Okay, though you're besterer!" He smiled again. "I can fight you on this forever." He added.

Sam couldn't quite hear her, he kissed the top of her head and rubbed her back. He wouldn't be ther to care, and to help her through life.

"Well, you're besterererest!" Haley arghed and sat up, "Well good, because I'm not going to give up." She told Him with a giggle.
