Fantasy New World

Zeelia had lived in the forest behind the town, of course by herself. Not very many people have liked her ever since the parents death. Well, she was now old enough to push everyone's thoughts out of her mind. She had walked out of her house, heading towards town once again. She crossed her arms over her chest as she let out a soft sigh. "Welp, just another day. I wonder if Jenna needs me to train any other animals." She began speaking to herself again, it's not like she had any friends anyways. She began walking a bit slower, as if she wasn't ready to go straight to the pet shop. She dropped her head, letting out another sigh. "I really need to find people to talk to." She made her way to a bench, sitting down as she slumped over while her arms dangled to the side. "I feel so dead sitting like this." Her hair slid to the sides of her face, hitting the ground as it did. "Ugh, I need to get a move on it. But, I'll stay here for a bit." Zeelia thought as she sat there quietly, looking like she was a corpse sitting on a bench.

(Had to re-post >^> , plus with some edits. )

Serephene sat at the very corner of the store, thinking about a new melody she just created. She hummed on for a while, trying to find all the notes that would eventually create a lovely melody. The noises irritated her, but she managed to ignore most of it, and delved deeper into her thoughts. She was almost new here, as she had just been taken in. She didn't want to go back home anyway, so she was fine with staying in a cage for the time being if it meant to be free later. She felt quite happy where she was, watching the others get adopted and move on to a better life. She stopped humming, thinking about what her parents might say to see her in a pet shop, if they were alive. Her ears flattened a fraction, and she drew her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. Wanting to keep her mind off her family, she went back to humming and arranging notes in her head.

Miya's body jolted as Tommy sneezed. She looked side to side in confusion, then peered at his face closely upside down, blinking her green eyes at him sleepily. "Mooooooorrning." She yawned, stretching her slender body across the pillows as she rose slowly. She was groggy, and not a Hybrid for mornings, short black hair a matted mess on one side, tail kinked with random tufts. Miya began taking one careful step after the other, on top of Tommy. The hybrid looked back at him with a smile. "Is Tommy mopey?" the leopard cat asked to make sure had had a good rest, hopping off the large bed towards the kitchen.

Tommy looked up at Miya. He wouldn't get over the fact she was so light. He barely felt her standing on him. He covered his face with his hands, then wiped them down, trying to wake himself up. He scratched his neck. "No...not mopey. But, I am still a little groggy." He yawned, stretching his arms out and above his head. He then grabbed Miya's legs, making her fall down onto the bed off of him. He laughed, poking her stomach. "Careful. You might fall."

Miya flopped onto the bed next to him as he pulled her down, the mattress creaking on her descent "Kyan!" she exclaimed, pursing her lips as she tried not to laugh. The hybrid attempted to be serious and stern in the situation, but she ended up giggling and smiling with her sharp canines as he poked her stomach "Ahn! Tommy! You're silly!" Miya squeaked at him, ears sharp and alert in the morning light. She sat up and began poking him in the sides as punishment, grinning as she got her playful revenge. "Un, you promised Sashimi today!" the hybrid chirped, memory clear as day.

Felicity turned her granite eyes over to the female hybrid and gave a small smile before approaching the cage, she knelt down to be eye level with her and grinned before she spoke, "Well hello there. My name's Felicity, what's your's?" The teenager spoke as she gazed at the hybrid sitting in her cage. The young girl hoped her parents was okay with their daughter's decision but it seemed to be a normal thing to everyone here in this town and if Felicity was to fit in, she may as well.

(I was getting the alerts to this thread! Sorry!)

Serephene stopped humming and gazed up at the girl who had seemed to have magically appeared in front of her cage. Where had she come from? Not that it surprised her--there were many instances where things and people would seemingly appear beside her without her noticing. And of course, this was when she was thinking. She needed to fix that habit, but in a way, Serephene wished to keep it, as it allowed her to take her mind off other, disturbing memories.

Gathering up herself, Serephene replied, "Hello, Felicity, I'm Serephene."

Gathering up herself, Serephene replied, "Hello, Felicity, I'm Serephene."
"Serephene. I like the sound of that." Felicity grinned and then she sat herself on the tile floor of the shop and leaned her head off to one side resting it on her hand, "So how do you like the idea of becoming my pet?" The young female smiled slightly. She took it her dark black ears and sort of slim like, fluffy tail. At the moment, Felicity couldn't point out what kind of animal she way, but the way Serephene looked, she seemed to be a pleasant one.

Tommy laughed, letting her poke his sides. At the mention of Sashimi, he shrugged. "I did, didn't I? Well, my mom is going to send me the recipe. Then I can make it. But not yet. I need to get through my morning routine first." He grabbed her wrists and then pinned her down next to him, laughing. He then stood up and stretched to both sides, hands on his waist. he stretched his arms forward and walked out the door, heading to the bathroom.

Serephene stared at the girl in front of her, taking in what she said. She wanted to adopt her?

Serephene leaned closer to the bars of her cage, her tail swishing slightly and her ears pointed forward. "Are you sure?" she asked, wondering why such a woman would want someone as herself. Felicity seemed like a kind woman, and it was a bit hard to say no. "I'd love to, if you can deal with a person like me."

Felicity laughed, and nodded her head, "I'm sure, and don't worry about the dealing part, I'm sure we'll be able to work out each other differences. And you never know, things may be better than we think of today." She stood up and turned to Jenna, "Ma'am! If I may, I would like to adopt this hybrid here today." She gestured to Serephene's cage right before her.

Serephene continued to stare at the lady. She felt some kind of happiness well inside of her, though her face refused to show it. Her tail was swishing a little more than it was a moment ago, and she sat back, trying to keep her excitement contained. She was finally going to see the outside world. She glanced outside, the world looking a little brighter than it had before, and she blinked, the thought of pastries invading her thoughts. She felt herself smile, and started to hum a new melody, one filled with a lot more happy atmosphere as she watched Felicity call to the clerk.

Miya twitched her ears curiously as watched Tommy go through this odd morning ritual. She cocked her head to the side and padded about down the hall, mimicking his movements "Side....side...arm...arm..." the hybrid said quietly to herself, quite happily. Miya began swaying her long black tail side to side as she stuck her nose into the kitchen fridge, shivering as the cold breeze hit her as she sang about fish "Tong, tong, tong, tong, pakitong-kitong Alimango, sa dagat malaki at masarap mahirap mahuli sapagkat nangangagat tong, tong, tong, tong, pakitong-kitong." the hybrid sang in her native tongue, she dug through drawers and began stuffing her mouth with handfuls of deli meat "...ong, tong, t....g, pakit....pfftth...Crabbys from the s--sea~~ So b-ig and tasthy~~~ It's difft-hicult to catch, cuz it bites. *gulping noises* tong, pakitong-kitong *more eating noises*" her mewing voice was muffled with the slivers of meat as she shut the fridge door.

Tommy looked in the mirror in the bathroom, not noticing Miya having walked downstairs. He tilted his chin up, looking at the faint, red stubble on his chin and neck. He frowned and put shaving cream on his face, then taking his razor and shaving it off. When he was done, he grabbed his toothbrush and brushed his teeth quickly, then washing his face. He finished and looked around, puzzled. "Miya?" He walked out of the bathroom and heard rummaging downstairs. He walked down and into the kitchen, seeing Miya going through the meat in the family fridge. He jogged over and lifted her away from it, closing it and looking at the mess she made. He sighed. "Wonderful..."

The hybrid grinned happily at Tommy as he moved her away from the fridge, mouth full of meat. Miya held up a slab of meat to him as a friendly offering "Un, H-i T-hommy! It's really wonderful!" she greeted lightly, quite proud of the large food stash she found in the fridge, the leopard-cat flicked her black tail back and forth as she finished off her meal. She blinks at him, leaning her head in close to his face carefully. Miya began wrinkling her nose at the odd, lingering scent of the shaving cream and toothpaste. "...Hrm..." the Hybrid stared at his face as if it had a bug on it, twitching her ears.

(Yeah I'm back...)

Jumping out from under her thin sheets. She grazed on over to the door as she swayed her bushy tail back and forth. She rest her hand on the non and twisted it. First popping her head out the door she looked into the hallway checking for the two. Not seeing anyone she burst end to the stairs and into the kitchen interested with the food in the fine home of their. So when miss foxy walked into the two, she quickly squeezed passed them and gazed at the replica of the mini fridge. Then grasping a leftover turkey container. She popped it open and divulged in the meat, enjoying it's rather cold taste.

Tommy watched Rosie devour the leftover turkey from yesterday, then patted her head. He sighed, taking the the meat from her hand and putting it back in a container. When she leaned in to smell his face, he leaned backward slightly. She seemed to have smelled something bad. He frowned. "What is it?"

Miya stayed silent for a moment after he took her 'catch' away. She stood there still trying to make out what to think of the scent "It smells good!" the hybrid smiled joyfully, enjoying the minty smell of his breath. Miya looked around for a moment, then wandered over to the sink to rinse off her greasy hands, humming quietly to herself as she ran the hot water to a steam. She patted her warmed hands dry on the the shirt, padding back over at the ravenous fox near the fridge. "Un...Maayon bontag Rosie" The hybrid waved good morning, the band aid still sticking to her face. "Next time I won't hold back." Miya warned, opening and closing her hands by her cheeks, flashing her claw-like nails in warning.

She smiled at the hybrid that was sending her a clear threat, but she didn't mind it. She just didn't want her foxy tail to be bitten again by those pointy teeth. So she ran up to the cat who she thought was kinda of cool and hugged to try to tell her, I'm srry. As she let go of de fancy cat she ran back to the fridge, pushing past Tommy. She opened the fridge again and quickly grab the turkey and ran off with the delectably meat.

Tommy rubbed his head. "Well, this is a confusing start to the day." He shrugged, walking over to the cabinet above the fridge and pulling out cereal. He put it in a bowl and poured milk in as well, taking a spoon and shoveling it into his mouth. He went over his schedule for the day. After, breakfast, it would be half an hour of exercise, then he would get dressed, go out shopping, stop by his uncle's shop, then head home to do whatever he wanted for the rest of the day. He sighed. 'Busy, busy, busy...'

(night night!)

Miya bristled slightly as she was caught off guard by the sudden hug. She quickly calmed herself and patted down the fur on her tail after Rosie fled. She twitched her ears while carefully watching Tommy as he ate the small flakes soaked in liquid. He seemed to enjoy it, but it didn't look to appetizing to the Hybrid, so she quickly escaped the kitchen to explore the home while his parents were still away.

The Leopard cat investigated strange switches along the room's wall, flicking each one on in excitement. As all the switches were flicked on in each of the rooms downstairs, she darted up the stairs to reverse all switches up there as well. Miya was happily playing this little game with herself, entering back into Tommy's large room.
