Rory copied Tessy and got out of the car with his head held high despite the anxiety he was feeling. As they walked forward he saw a man standing in front who gave them a slight nod in greeting. Rory did the same. He then continued following Tessy towards her apartment. Once they entered the department he peered over the walls glancing at every room. Once he saw that this room had enough space for him he opened his wings stretching them. "There is enough room here! Oh it feels good to stretch open my wings. Could you perhaps give me the tour?" Rory asked as he continued folding his wings in and opening them, repeating this motion.
Therese chuckled at his reaction to the space. "Sure, follow me," she said, walking ahead and explaining all the rooms. First was the living room, then the kitchen, her bedroom, a guest bedroom, and then her workroom along with two bathrooms. The apartment was meant for two people at the least, but she liked having all this room. She led them back to the kitchen, very cleancut and orderly. "As I was saying, you can't go into my room or my workroom without my permission or unless I'm in there. Also, you can sleep anywhere you want, it's your choice." She smiled graciously, as if she were giving him a lot of freedom to choose. She opened the fridge and examined the contents. "What do you want to eat?"

Rory asked, "Are you stashing away secret treasure? Is that why I can't go into your bedroom or workroom?" His mind was running through all these scenarios of Miss Tessy stashing away treasure as if she was a pirate. But his thoughts were interrupted once he heard the word 'eat'. He quickly answered, "Oh do you have fruit? Or perhaps raw fish? Or small squirrel? Rabbit? Mice?" He tilted his head trying to think what does he really want. In the labs all they ever fed him was the diet of a golden eagle rather than a human. "Or do you perhaps have human food?" Rory asked.

Rubbed her eyes that were glazed over in sleep. Sitting up she swung her tail back in forth through the air and yawned. Then adjusting her soft pale hair away from her crimson red eyes, that seamed to dance as the gazed across the room. Then stopping her gaze on the mini fridge and jumped at it. Dropping her silky hands onto the handle. Swinging it open, she glared inside. Finding the red metal can that the cat seamed to love. Picking up the can she walked off to find the cat.

When Rosie walked in to the room that had a kitty in it. She tossed the cool can at her and smiled.

Zeelia had lived in the forest behind the town, of course by herself. Not very many people have liked her ever since the parents death. Well, she was now old enough to push everyone's thoughts out of her mind. She had walked out of her house, heading towards town once again. She crossed her arms over her chest as she let out a soft sigh. "Welp, just another day. I wonder if Jenna needs me to train any other animals." She began speaking to herself again, it's not like she had any friends anyways. She began walking a bit slower, as if she wasn't ready to go straight to the pet shop. She dropped her head, letting out another sigh. "I really need to find people to talk to." She made her way to a bench, sitting down as she slumped over while her arms dangled to the side. "I feel so dead sitting like this." Her hair slid to the sides of her face, hitting the ground as it did.

While Maimu was having fun with pressing the buttons on the elevator he heard Jan tell her to stop. She didn't really know why until seeing the elevator door opening. It made her even more curious but she saw Jan didn't move from his spot. She did as he had said and stopped after pressing one more button wanting to light up the last one. It was pretty to her the many lights of the buttons. One at a time they stopped lighting up. from floor to floor. She didn't know why he wanted her to stop but she felt as if she was in some type of trouble. Her ears flattened once again to her head and she held her tail tightly while looking down to the ground. She slowly moved over to Jan holding onto his pants lightly. "S-Sorry."

"I wish I had secret treasure," Therese replied, rolling her eyes. "I just don't want you to accidentally break anything." She looked through their pantry and fridge, listening to his questions about food. "Well, there's no squirrel or mice or rabbit, and I doubt I'll be able to get some that easily soon...so all I have is human food. I do have some apples and peaches though." she took out two apples and two peaches, sliding open a drawer for a knife. She grabbed a plate and cut the fruit into slices for them. "I think that's good." She took a seat at the table, indicating that he should do the same.

Cyrin flashed Xavier a smile before standing up. She called over a worker with the wave of her hand. After a moment, she and the man went over to a desk. Another moment later, she walked back to Xavier. Though she hated the term, she had 'bought' him. The thought made her feel awkward and unsure. The cage was unlocked for her and she opened it herself. With a hand extended to him, she smiled. "Let's go, Xavier. From now on, we'll be companions, so please bear with me. "

Xavier smiled back as she got up. His eyes followed her, as she waved over a worker, before heading over to a desk. I can't believe it. I never thought I'd be one to exit this shop with a human. He thought to himself, amazed. He wondered what it'd be like. He saw Cyrin coming back over, and smiled. She opened his cage, and he stepped out, taking her hand, still smiling. "Companions?" he asked, smiling wider, Does that mean she sees me as an equal? As something other than a pet to provide amusement? he thought to himself with glee. "I'd be happy to be your companion, Cyrin."

Cyrin shook hands with him, giving an agreeing nod before releasing his hand. For a moment, she looked at Xavier as if she were studying him. Judging from his face, he couldn't be older than her, not that it made a big difference. She made her way outside to see Kien standing there with the door open for her. His face was slightly surprised to see such an odd hybrid behind her, but simply waved it off. After all, he had no say in what she bought.

Xavier dropped his hand back to his side, before noticing she seemed to be studying him. He sat there, slightly awkwardly until she finished, and headed outside. He followed her, noticing the car, and the man standing next to it. Maybe he was her chauffeur or something? He noticed the look of surprise cross the man's face, but Xavier chose to ignore it. He didn't want to be rude to someone employed by his companion. He guessed she was rich, as her car looked rather nice, and she had her own chauffeur.

(It's all good. )

"Kien, this is Xavier. He's my new companion and therefore, will be living with us for a while. I trust you'll help him get accustomed to things?" Cyrin asked while gesturing to the snake hybrid. In response, Kien said, "Yes, Ms. Krezetsky." Kien gave the hybrid a quick glance. To Kien, Xavier was nothing more than a mere pet. But if it would help the Boss work, then he had no objections. Cyrin climbed into the back seat before thinking of what she had to do when she got back. There were still many documents that needed to be checked over and papers from HQ that needed to be OK'd.

Miya quietly held still as he tilted her chin, then grasping his hand tightly as she pulled herself off the bed. "Okaie...."

She watched the sly little Fox-Hybrid enter the room, her eyes narrowed with a defensive hiss. She was not in the mood to be bothered, but her green eyes sparkled as the cool, wet can touched her hands. "Un." Miya nodded, twitching her tail, trying not to seem too excited. "Are you here to scratch me more, dog?" the hybrid growled, making sure Rosie saw the irritated expression on her young face.

"Oh, okay," Rory murmured as his eyes looked down with sadness since there was no secret treasure. But his eyes lit up once he saw fruit. Rory saw that Miss Tessy was signalling him to sit at the table to eat. He walked over and took a seat next to Miss Tessy. He grabbed one plate full of fruit and said, "Thank you, Miss Tessy." Rory chomped down onto his fruit savoring the flavors and taste. Rory has always liked fruit since it was mostly the only flavorful thing the scientists had ever offered them.

"You should tell me what you like, Rory," she said, hoping to gain some sort of background knowledge about him. She didn't want to give him things he hated and had to pretend to like. "So that I can know your tastes and get to know you better." From the way he ate his fruit, she could safely assume he thought they were edible.

Rory thought about it. What do I like? Then one name came into mind. "Um...well while I was in the lab the scientists sometimes brought this food. It was round and I think they said it had cheese on it with tomato sauce. It would be cut though into 'slices'. But I don't know what this food is called...but the scientists would always enjoy having this food around and it made me wonder what it tasted like. Not only did they have that sliced round food but they had a drink with it. It wasn't water though. They called it soda. They seemed to enjoy the combination of food. Do you think perhaps you can get me this food?" Rory asked with great curiosity in his eyes.

Xavier looked over at Kien, "Hello Kien," he said, attempting a smile. His mind was already thinking about all sorts of things, like what his new home would be like, what sort of job Cyrin had, (Why I suddenly developed writer's block,) etc, as he sat down in the back suit next to Cyrin.

Tommy herded Miya out of the room before they could get into a fight again, bringing her downstairs. He turned on the lights and walked over to the kitchen. He grabbed her waist and lifted her up, having her sit on the counter. He then walked to the bathroom, pulling out a box of bandages. He pulled one out and checked it's size, then put the box back and returned to Miya. He put Neosporin on the band-aid, then applying it to the cut on her face. He pointed to it. "The gel is to prevent an infection from happening and to reduce any pain on the spot." He grabbed some paper towels, placing it on the counter and keeping it flat. He opened the freezer to the kitchen fridge, pulling out some ice and putting it on the paper towels. He then wrapped it up and put it against her forehead, where the tennis ball hit her. "Keep that against the spot where the tennis ball hit you, or anywhere that hurts. You okay?" He tilted his head in worry. Rosie had given her a beating. He would have to teach her that was wrong.

(It happens all the time. The frustration is real)

Cyrin glanced at Xavier briefly before hearing Kien enter the car himself. "Let's go back home, Kien. I still have work to take care of," she said before turning to Xavier. "Kien can cook you something once we get back. He may not seem like it, but he's quite the cook. " She let out a nearly silent chuckle as if remembering a fond memory. Kien, who saw her from the rear view mirror, brushed back his blonde hair before releasing a sigh. The car began to move, following the streets to Cyrin's house.

Miya looked down at the carpet as they walked out of the parent room. She sat on counter patiently, flattening her ears, watching him work and take out the box. It was much like boxes she's seen at the labs when they worked on hybrids after surgeries or physical tests, but she supposed they were meant for a good purpose. Miya began wrinkling her nose at the ointment's scent as it numbed away pain of the scratch. Shifting a bit on the counter as she blushed "Thank you Master..." the young hybrid thanked quietly as Tommy applied the band aid. Miya put her hands on the wrapped ice and pressed against her forehead, holding it in place just as he said. "I don't like foxes..." she muttered bitterly, rethinking the situation. Miya felt guilty about biting Rosie, and felt horrid after realizing she bit Tommy as well "...sorry for biting Tommy..." she sighed, picking up the small tube and holding it up to him "Gel??"

"What kind of work?" Xavier asked, curious, looking over at Cyrin. He heard her comment about food, and nodded, smiling. "We'll just see about that," he said, jokingly. he saw Kien sigh, as the car began moving. It was a strange sensation, moving but not moving, in this car. He looked around, at the houses they passed, wondering which one would be hers.

"Hmm ? Oh, I'm CEO of a leading oiling company," Cyrin said simply while watching him look around. She pointed straight ahead at a large house far from the rest. "That's my house. Just up there." Kien had recommended an isolated house to prevent her from getting distracted. She, of course, had no objections since the surrounding land was vast and private. Thinking about it now, this would give Xavier more room to himself. Surely that cage he had been in previously was cramped.

After entering through the large gates, Kien drove a mile or so longer to reach the house. It was very large considering it had 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 studies, basement, a library, and was 3 stories. The highest floor had a bathroom and a study, the middle floor had 3 rooms and a bathroom, the ground floor had 2 bedrooms, a study, and library while the basement had a bedroom, bathroom and study. Cyrin slept on the middle floor and Kien had the basement for himself.

Kien came around to open the door for her and Xavier soon after the car stopped in front of the house.
"Xavier, would you like Kien to show you around? If not, you can just explore."

Tommy smiled. "No problem. And you don't have to call me 'Master'. Tommy is just fine." He yawned, stretching. It was getting late, and he would have to make sure he could get up for work in the morning. He heard her apology and shook his head. "Don't worry about it. See?" He pulled the collar of his shirt out to show her where she had bitten him. There were tiny red spots on his skin, barely noticeable. "You didn't hurt me too bad. I'll admit, though. Those teeth are wicked sharp." He chuckled, then picked the Neosporin out of her tiny hands. "Thanks. I'll put it away in a bit." He pocketed the gel and leaned against the edge of the counter.

(WRITER'S BLOCK WHYYYYYY) "Oh, impressive," Xavier said, nodding, in regards to her position as CEO. He looked where she was pointing, seeing the huge house. "Holy shit...." he whispered, looking up at the building. He had never seen anything this large, and frankly didn't think it was possible for anything to be that big. Xavier stepped out, looking around, his eyes wide. "No, I'd like to explore," he said, looking back at her, and smiling, before looking back at the house. Suddenly, he turned, running over to her and embracing her in a hug. "Thank you.." he said, grinning.

Cyrin, who was smiling, suddenly became flustered over a hug. She waved her arms, unsure of what to do. "Uhh... er... umm... T-thank you for what?" She asked him. Though she had been hugged plenty of times before, this was different. She glanced over at Kien, who was startled, yet amused at the same time.

Miya smiled at him with a sigh of relief that she didn't hurt him too bad "Okaie Tommy!" she said, merely for the joy of using his name. She went quiet for a moment, staring at his head with wide eyes as he leaned against the counter, inspecting his cheekbones, lips eyes, and the rest of his structure as if she were studying a book. The hybrid suddenly began running her slender fingers through his red hair curiously. "I never seen a person with red hair before..." Miya said, seeming deeply concentrated as she played with his hair. "Pretty!" the girl gleamed, swinging her feet as she sat on the cool counter. "If Tommy is sleepy... Tommy go to sleep! " She commanded him adamantly, with a small frown.
