Fantasy New World

Tommy opened one eye to stare at the opposite wall, and then sat up taller in the tub. He carefully pulled the off from his head, pulling the tab off and listening to the hiss of the drink, waiting for it to become quiet. He then held it out to her. As he waited, he dunked himself fully into the water, letting the soap wash his face and hair. When he popped his head up from the warm water, he shook it, water flying from the ends of his red hair. He ran a hand through it, slicking it back. He blew some foam off of the corner of his lips, then laughed. "Meowing and begging won't always get you what you want in this house. Especially from my parents."

Her bright granite colored eyes widen slightly as she saw what the shop keeper was gesturing at, and she stopped on her tracks, "Well that was someone told me, unique. But I didn't realize how unique they were to be." Felicity murmured quietly as she approached the cages slowly, looking at them in wonder. Half human and half animal. She herself hasn't seen anything like this before. She stopped just a few steps away from them and gave them a small smile, "Well hello there."

Miya twitched her ears, cringing as the stray droplets flew around the small room. With a swift motion she plucks the can from his outstretched hand with an eager smile "Nya. It works on you!" she grinned proudly, taking several large gulps from her newly acquired prize as she enjoyed his boyish laugh bounce off walls "But those humans...are not Miya's masters. " Miya said blatantly, not caring about the older couple in the slightest. The Leopard Cat's only concern was for her master, Tommy. Miya had listened patiently through many lectures spoken in Bisaya about the importance of the master that would one day take her in, listen to their commands. Not their parents.

Tommy chuckled, stretching in the tub. "It works on me because I'm pretty laid back about stuff like this. And my parent's are almost as much as your 'master' as I am. They have control over me, so their like my masters, in a way. If I do something to upset them, then..." He shrugged, letting his arms hand over the side of the tub, water dripping off of his fingertips onto the tile floor, making a soft sound. "I'm gone." He sighed. It was true. His parent's had said if he did anything wrong, he would move in with his aunt. It wouldn't be so bad if he could at least keep doing basketball. But his aunt was strict about him giving it up, since people got hurt in it.

Miya's tail bristled furiously as she listened to his words, letting out an unintentional gasp as his hand touched the floor in it's dramatic fashion. The sound effects had a great effect on her being, "Hrmp." she huffed "That's cruel!" the hybrid exclaimed, quite distraught. This was the first that she has heard of something as this, she was not fluent with this country's familial traditions and surely did not enjoy it. "They banish you from their village because of Leopard Cat Miya?? That's not good...." Miya disliked the parents ways, but for Tommy's sake she was going to make sure she was going to treat them carefully, but with only half affection. No more.

He shrugged, looking up at the ceiling. "It's not really cruel. A lot of families do it. It's mostly out of love for the child. They want the best for them, so they try to take drastic measures to make sure they don't screw up their future. And it won't be your fault if I get sent away. It'll be mine. So you have nothing to worry about." He smiled, sitting up in the tub. "Can you hand me that towel right there?" He pointed to the soaked towel he had used to get in.

(Late late, night!)

Miya leaned over and grasped the towel next to the three, empty soda cans. She grabbed it, with a shiver running down her spine as she touched the sharp cold of the damp fabric. Without a second hesitation she tossed away the item to Tommy as if it were some venomous snake nipping with nipping fangs. "I dislike this tradition. " Miya stated, not saying much more about the topic. The Leopard cat gathered up a couple of the cans that she placed in the sink, nudging the handful to Tommy as he came out of the tub. "Open." the hybrid demanded impatiently with sharp eyes.

Tommy dunked the towel under the water and wrapped it around his waist, then stepping out of the tub. He huffed. "If you don't like the tradition, then I'll first have to get comfortable with the possibility of you sitting in the bathroom, naked, while I'm in the tub, naked. This is normal here." He tucked the end of the towel uin so it stayed put. He grabbed a can from Miya and opened it, then handing it back to her. He then took one for himself and took a sip. He walked to his room and over to his dresser, pulling out a pair of gym shorts and a t-shirt. He looked at Rosie. "Hi, Rosie." He waved to her.

"Thank you Tessy!!" Rory exclaimed as he grabbed his new kite. "And sorry that I steered us away from buying fruit," Rory apologized. But his remorse didn't last. "Work? What is work? Can I go to in this work? Is work fun like a toy?" he asked. His mind was full of thoughts and images that he could almost feel his head exploding. And with this new freedom and adventure all at his fingertips he could almost feel his heart exploding. He looked up to Therese and said, "Thank you again Miss Tessy." As he said this tears brimmed the edges of his eyes out of happiness.

She raised her hand in return. She glanced at his new attire, shrugging it wasn't the nicest but at least he was wearing clothes. Standing up she walked over to the boy and griped his wrist with her right hand. She then poked his cheek with her free hand. Then turning on her heel she walked over to her bed and sat down.

(That was weird....and what did I miss? To lazy to check....)

(Nothing much. Miya made a soda can explode, resulting in them both to need to clean up. That was pretty much it.)

He watched her walk away, confused by the gesture. He rubbed his cheek, thinking. Was it something to mean she wanted something? Or affection? He wasn't sure. He put on the shorts under the towel, then letting it drop and putting on the shirt. He walked over and kneeled down in front of her, tilting his head in confusion. "I don't understand." Though, she probably didn't understand him. Which made this all the more difficult.

Therese gave a small laugh. He was adorable. "Work is what I do to make money," she replied, making a face. "It's so boring and not fun. And all my friends do is work." She led them out and into the direction of her parked car. She took out her phone and sent a quick text to her friend, making up a lie and saying that she was sick so she couldn't return back to work. Throwing up was always a good excuse. No one ever questioned puking. "But I think you'll like our home. It's a little spacious for me, but probably good for you." She quickly got into the driver's seat, and gestured for him to open the door and sit beside her in the passenger seat.

Lifting her eyes up at him. She found him stupid, how he spoke to her as if she understood. She did the gesture for amusement and nothing else. Taking a small sense of joy when she saw his reactions.

Makeing the same arm motion as the night before, when they tossed the ball. She wanted to play the silly game again.

Tommy tilted his head for a moment, then clapped his hands together in understanding. "Oh! Oh, oh, oh. Play. Got it." He nodded and jogged over to his desk, picking up the little green tennis ball. He tossed it in the air a couple times, then nodded. He tossed it over to her. Well, at least they could communicate in one hand gesture. 'Play' would work for now. He would have to help with making one for 'Food' and 'Drink' after. Those would be ideal for now until he taught her how to speak.

Catching the ball with a grin on her face, she tossed it back with ease. She giggled a little bit. Growing a plan in her mind. She planned to cause some chaos, for the boy. Lifting her body up just after she tossed the ball. She ran down stairs, with stomping feet heard, then a slam caused by the front door. She was gone, but really she had just jumped the boys fence and laid in the backyards green hair.
(We'll that last post is crap....I'm just really tired which isn't really an ascuse but yeah....goodnight)

Tommy watched Rosie run out the door as he caught the ball. "Wait..Wait! What?! ROSIE!" He ran out the door after her, looking back at Miya. "Sorry, Miya! Be right back!" He practically leaped down the stairs after Rosie, bursting out the front door. He frantically looked around. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to think. He noticed some grass pressed down, leading to his fence to the backyard. He huffed, walking back and jumping over it, walking over to Rosie. He kneeled down and shook his head. He checked the two houses next to his, wondering if the neighbors were wondering what was happening. He sighed, then wrapped his arm around her waist and picked her up. He walked through the back door and back up to his room, placing her on the bed again. He took a deep breath. "That was too close for comfort. Sorry, Rosie..." He gently rubbed her head, then picked up the tennis ball. He tossed it to her, walking over to the couch and sitting down.

Xavier turned as well, looking over at the cat hybrid, before looking back at her. He heard her question,

And his cheeks went reddish, which looked interesting compared to the green scales around his eyes. "What?" He asked, looking at her. He thought the question over, touching was a thing humans did with animals, why was he reacting like this? "Oh, uh... Sure." He said, awkwardly.

Cyrin let out a bright smile at the hybrid as she reached her hand between the bars of the cage. Very gently, she grazed the skin above his elbow before moving her fingers towards the patch of scales on his elbow. Against her warm fingers, his scales felt cool and nice. This made her smile grow. "Hey... My name is Cyrin Krezetsky. Would you like to come home with me? "

He watched, as she put her hand between the bars,as she grazed his shoulder, before she brung her hand down to his elbow, touching his scales. Her touch felt nice, and he smiled slightly. "I'm Xavier," he said, looking back up into her eyes. He heard her other comment, and thought to himself, I am no pet! I won't go home with you! "Sure." He said, still looking into her red eyes. He had never seen red eyes on a human before, but they.. Fit her somehow. He liked them.

Giggling as she was putt down. "Hel.......lo" She mumbled out to the boy, hearing the word constantly in the pet store. She wanted to try it. Grinning at him for approval. She stood up, resting her feet on the mattress leaving rather small but deep imprints into it. She jumped at him with a hug, wrapping her arms around him. Catching her hand with her hand. "Hello" she said almost perfectly not knowing the meaning.

Tommy looked at Rosie, stunned. He stood there for a moment, just staring at her. Then he smiled. "Hello? You said 'hello'?! You said 'hello'! You learned how to say 'hello'!" He laughed, putting both his hands against the sides of his head. She learned an English word! At least, how to pronounce it. But it was progress. He smiled wider, looking between Rosie and Miya. "You learned your first English word! I assume you don't know what it means, but it's a start!" He laughed again and hugged her without thinking. He was overjoyed that it had only been a little bit, and she could almost say 'hello' perfectly.

Rory clung tightly to his kite as they exited. "Work not fun, okay," Rory spoke to himself registering the statement into his mind. Rory stopped and watched as Tessy got into the car. He hesitated for a moment until he saw her looking at him. He gulped and whispered to himself, "I have a home now and a nice new caretaker. I am not going to another lab." Rory clung even tighter to his kite and slowly approached the vehicle. The shininess of the car reminded him of the lab objects that used to always surround him. He grabbed the handle of the car and pulled it open with ease. Rory saw her waiting in there and didn't want to keep her waiting. He bravely jumpes into the passanger seat and closed the door behind him. His wings shivered a bit for the car was a tad bit tight but held enough room for him to sit comfortably with his wings closed. Rory felt like panicking at first but soon began to relax as he realized that now he can see where they are headed to.

Breaking from the boys rather strong hands. She made her way over to

her bed and laid down. Looking

towards the ceiling. She shut her eyes to a still. Planning to rest a bit. The girl was rather tired. Rolling over, and getting as comfy as possible. With a pillow under her head, she started sleeping. She was stunned that she said the word her self, really surprised by her self, finding it really hard to believe. She just dozed for a short while.
(I'm not going to bed....just to let you know....and I need to be faster)

Therese could sense his uneasiness at first, but was relieved when she felt it wear down. The drive was about five minutes, not far at all. Her home was an apartment in a building near her workplace, a good twenty minute walk away. She parked outside and got out, motioninig for Rory to do the same. There was a doorman outside and he nodded in greeting. Her apartment was on the first floor. For a family, it would be small, but for a single person, it was relatively big and very spacious. It was neat, but not that decorated. "And this is home, Rory," she said to him, opening the apartmenet door with her key and letting him in. "I hope it's enough room for you. You can go explore it on your own, or I could give you a tour..."
