Fantasy New World

Xavier heard someone enter the store, and he looked up. His snake like green eyes watched the person look around. Xavier glared at the person, a female. What is she here for? He thought to himself. The Cat Hybrid probably. Xavier ate some of the bland hard pet food out of his other bowl. He kept his fangs in while eating the pet food, as he didn't want to damage his fangs. The stuff was repulsive, but that is practically all they have them.

(Ending for the night :P Night night guys!)

Miya merely twitched her ears at the faint sound of the bell in it's muffled rattle. She responded with a wide yawn, displaying her sharp, glimmering fangs hidden just beneath her lips. The cat hybrid was surprisingly calm in this room, most likely because it was some place that was far better from a cramped cage or a prying lab. She blushed lightly, enjoying Tommy rub her head. She purred comfortably, refusing to move from her place. Miya glanced at the bored Arctic fox with half open, bright eyes, peering at Rosie without raising her head. She slowly began to fade into her light slumber as she listened to the teen's ramble.

Cyrin stood near the entrance, her eyes scanning the store and its multiple cages filled with hybrids. She took a few steps in to get a closer look at them. Indeed, they were quite fascinating. The way the animals DNA was fused into the humans. The cat and dog hybrids were cute, yet not as interesting as the bird. She took the time to connect with every hybrid she saw, not wanting them to feel unloved or unwanted. However, she wondered over to an incredibly interesting, yet unusual hybrid. A snake.

Cyrin neared the boy who partially a snake. His eye color and scaly skin were amazing, something out of this world. She was certainly interested in him. As a result, she bent down get a closer look at him.

Tommy noticed the sharp teeth and frowned. 'Hope she doesn't ever have the urge to bite me.' He wondered if he tried to move, he would disturb her. She seemed to be falling asleep, but he didn't want to take chances. He reached behind him and grabbed a tennis ball, holding it up. He smiled, and whistled lightly. "Rosie. Play?" He and his dad would have to help her with communicating. Simple commands would be enough for a bit, but he wanted her to be able to at least talk a bit. He made a throwing motion with the ball, hoping to make her happy. He didn't want her to mope around his house, depressed. His parent's would complain, and he would feel awful. He then tossed the ball to her, hoping the message would get across to her.

( good night Nekoni)
Surprised by the boys sudden whistle, she looked at him and his strange motion. Something she's never seen, so when the ball flew at her, it hit her in the stomach. Grabbing the ball from the spot it rested on the ground, she threw it at his face, but she missed. It flew right past the boys head and bounced off the wall behind him and hit the floor and came to a rolling stop in front of her face...She sighed and using her hand and arm to help her sit up she looked at the ball picked it up and threw it again at the boy....still at his face.

Tommy ran on instincts and reflexes and caught the ball inches before it hit him in the face. He smiled. "Jeez, you have a fiery attitude..." He chuckled, this time rolling the ball over to her. Years of basketball had really honed his reflexes. He was proud of himself that he had practiced enough to get as good as he was today. But his reflexes wouldn't help him train the hybrids. He shook his head. He would worry about that when he spoke with his parents. He held his hand out when the ball reached her, smiling.

"I'm sorry, do you need something?" Xavier asked, annoyed. He noticed she didn't say anything yet. Good, most humans are annoying anyways, he thought to himself. He felt sort of awkward, just sitting her with her staring at him. He decided to state back, his green eyes staring into her (color) eyes.

Wrapping the ball around her grip she tossed the ball back to the boy. She was starting to be amused with this game, or what she thought was a a game. She grew a small grin. Looking at the boy she thought he was interesting, how he could come up with something that could amuse her. She then pointed at the fridge while biting to tell him she was hungry. She hoped he understood. She was rather hungry, and the candy before there arrival wasn't very filling.

Tommy looked in the direction she was pointing, then chuckled. He lifted Miya off of his chest, then slid out from under her. He laid her on the couch and put a blanket over her, patting her head lightly, then turning and walking over to the fridge. He whistled again, and motioned for Rosie to come closer. He bent down to examine the contents of the fridge, and reached in to sift around. He grabbed a cup of yogurt, looking at it and shaking his head. He put it back and reached to the back, grabbing a bag of some sort. He pulled it out, and smiled at the bag of cookies in his grip. He put it down next to him and kept looking through the fridge for anything else.

A smile spread on Cyrin's face as he spoke. "Hmmm.... not really. I was just admiring your eyes. They're very beautiful, " she complimented. Her smile grew as he stared back into her eyes, showing that she was obviously enjoying this. Cyrin glanced at his entire body, noticing patches of scales in some areas. The sudden urge to touch them washed over her as she found herself reaching out to him.

Scooting closer to the boy. Wondering what food he was grabbing for her. She was hoping it wasn't anymore sweets that he seemed to have a rather large supply of. She wanted some real food. So she squeezed past him to look for some herself to see if there was any type of meats in his fridge. She saw no such thing as meat in the fridge. She scooted away from it...
(I'm having a rather strange craving for beef jerky....)

Tommy frowned as Rosie moved away from him. "Guess you wouldnt like anymore sweets, huh?" He stood up and put the cookies back in the fridge. He closed it and walked to the door to the rest of the house. He looked back and held up a hand. "Hold on." He walked out and closed the door behind him. He went downstairs and into the kitchen, checking to see what his mom had. There was a note on the fridge, which he didn't bother to read. There was some turkey on the table for him, so he picked it up and held it in one hand as he searched the cupboards for anything else. He grabbed a bag of beef jerky and pretzels for himself. He ran back up the stairs and entered his room, placing the dish of warm meat in front of Rosie. He smiled. "There ya' go. Actual food." He placed the beef jerky on the desk and walked back over to sit on the floor with Rosie. She was an arctic fox, so he should have just used common sense and gotten her some meat instead of candy. He would have to start putting that on the grocery list for his mom later. "Dinner is served."

(That's just cold.....)

Starring at the turkey as she ripped at the meat with her hand and shoveling it into her mouth. She smiled at the boy as a thank you.

She continued to rip and chew the meat for several minutes in till she was done with it all. It was nice to eat something that wasn't raw for ounce...she never had cooked meat before usually relying on raw rabbits as a meal. She handed the empty plate back to Tommy. Standing up she walked over to the bed, sitting on the edge of it. She then stared at Tommy with a happy grin.

(What's cold? What did I do? ;- ;)

Tommy grabbed the plate and stood up. He walked over to his desk and placed it down, then turned to Rosie. He smiled. "I guess that made you happy." He chuckled and felt his phone buzz again. He pulled it out and saw it was from his dad. He read the message, then sighed, dropping the phone on his desk and walking over to the couch. He sat on the side closer to the bed, and lifted Miya to move her over a bit so he could sit down. "Guess it's just us until tomorrow." He huffed out a breath. Typical of his parents, but he would manage.

(Sorry, but it's late. I'm gonna hit the hay. G'night.)

(Okay goodnight...and you mention beef jerky that's what was cold...I'm going to try to be more descriptive by the way...)
Without answering her question Jan got out of the car walked around it until he was finally in front of the passenger door. "Our house. I hope you like it in here, oh, and make sure to close the door when you get off the car." In front of the park was a rather medium-sized park and people walking their dogs could be seen everywhere. He walked over to the building where the janitor, a man of approximately 32 years, was cleaning its stairs. "Good day Jan!" He greeted "How are you doing?" The looked at Maimu for a second before looking back at him. "And who is that?" Jan turned on Maimu's direction, the same way the janitor did. "Oh, her. She's Maimu, a hybrid I bought a few blocks away." The janitor was quiet surprised about this answer. "You? Buying a hybrid? I would have never seen that coming...Please keep her under control, I don't want any trouble with the other residents of the building." Jan quickly nodded. "Don't worry, I will make sure that doesn't happen."
When the door opened on her side she jumped out of the car and placed her hand on the outer part of the door and pushed it. It slammed into the car, closing it. She covered her ears after hearing the loud slamming of the door. After a small moment standing next to the car admiring it as it shone in the sunlight she had noticed that the man that bought her, Jan, wasn't next to her. She ran over to him while in her peripheral vision she caught what looked like a park filled with humans and the dogs with them. That wasn't what she was really paying attention to though. She had looked at the small and large trees around the area with a smile hoping to climb them soon.

Again, she had gotten too distracted in her desire to climb all the trees around that she had noticed Jan was walking into the building. She ran quickly to him, catching up in a short period of time, and grabbed onto his leg tightly so she wouldn't lose him again. Her tail flicking back and forth lightly and her ears had flattened to her head as she was looking up the stairs of the building as Jan walked into it. As well she had turned her head in the direction of a mans voice that had greeted Jan with a "Good day Jan!" and a "How are you doing?" She moved more behind his leg seeing the man had saw her and said "And who is that?" She couldn't help but to growl, as a tiger would, when the man said to "Keep her under control." She didn't like it very much but she couldn't blame the man. She just hugged onto Jan's leg tightly as well as hiding her face on it her tail wrapping around her own leg a bit and her ears stayed flattened to her head.

(Am just gonna post. I'll be on tomorrow hopefully, it's my laundry day.~)

Justin had woken up with a small but cute cat yawn, he looked over to see this girl standing in front of the snake cage. "Meow." Was the only thing he said, he knew there was a good chance of that snake getting adopted after all what male guy wants a male, cat. Well they only want on as cute as me if there buying me for some girl or they really really like me. He smiled too himself and sat upright, "Ugh im hungry, might as well eat this stupid food." He moaned as he bent his head down and eat a small amount of food and drank some water.

Therese went next to him at the window, peering into the window. "It's a toy shop." She looked at the door of the shop, but found no sign that forbade pets from entering. However, she couldn't be sure if he was allowed in. Deciding that maybe it would be okay, she gave him a small smile. "We can go in if you want." Worst case scenario, the shopowner made a big scene and Rory was forced to leave. She would still get him a toy if that happened.

Xavier said nothing, attempting to keep a neuteral expression on his face. Attacking someone else wouldn't exactly help him. He heard her comment, and his eyes widened. Wait, was that a compliment? he asked himself. "Oh, uh...... thanks.." he said awkwardly, before replying, "Yours are too," he didn't know what made him say it, but he just sort of felt like he should, it was probably the polite thing to do, or something. As he reached out to him, he did nothing, just sat there, sort of confused. What is she doing? he asked himself, looking up at her. Is she trying to.... pet him? As humans did to the other more adorable hybrids?
((Sorry for not being on, I fell asleep.)
@Sayuri Tokage (And now I have to go)

(It's all good)

Cyrin turned her head briefly in the direction of the meow she heard. For just a moment, she stated at the cat hybrid with her red eyes before turning back to the snake. Her hand had stopped just before touching the cage. "Ummm... Would it be alright with you if I felt your skin?" She asked, hoping he would allow her to do so.

"I got a drink for Izzy! Caramel Frappuccino, no whip cream!" The young barista called out. A lady busy on her came up to grab the drink, and didn't say a thank you as she was too occupied on her cell. Felicity gave a glower, but didn't have time to steam of anger as she and her co-worker were busy trying to attend to the other customers. The female came in hopping for an easy shift, a steady business, but it seemed like almost everyone in this town needed a cup of coffee, a shot of espresso, or either a Frappuccino. She quickly began to prepare a cup of hot chocolate as a young mother came in with her daughter. As the milk was being steamed she whipped out a brownie for the young girl as she was gawking at the all the sweets behind the case. Even though she wanted an easy shift, she didn't mind the business. She got to see some of the regulars who actually will hand tips to Felicity as she handed off their drinks. When she drizzled the hot chocolate with chocolate syrup, she placed the lid and handed it to the young girl, "There you go sweetie!" Felicity handed the mother her iced mocha and smiled, "Enjoy your drinks!" Her co-worker standing behind the cash register turned around and handed her two cups, "One Mocha Frappuccino, and the other is an iced Vanilla coffee." Felicity nodded and turned around to begin making the drinks.

After today's shift, she may just crash on one of the tiny sofas they have in the coffee shop.

After Felicity's long shift at work, she untied her apron hanging it up and smiled at her co-worker waving goodbye, "See ya Bernie! I'm off tomorrow so I won't in!"

"No fun!"
He whimpered as she walked out. She untied her long hair and placed her headphones on. Felicity had heard about a pet shop being in town, so she asked one of the customers were it was it and it wasn't far form the coffee shop. Felicity made her way around the turn and walked a block before reaching the pet store. She looked at the door for a minute before walking in. Her grey eyes looking around. "Oh my this is unusual pet shop here.'' She thought as she removed the headphones from off of her ears and placed them around her neck.

((Hope this is all right))

"Yes please!" Rory said. His eyes were trying to grasp every toy in memory. How they looked and soon what they did. "Oh and what do you do with these toys?" Rory asked. The objects in front of him seemed so unique compared to all the grey metal objects of a lab that he grew around.

After waving goodbye to the janitor Jan walked through a small hallway where at the end of it lay an elevator. Through out this process Jan had found it quiet difficult to walk due to the fact that Maimu was hugging his leg, but he decided not to mention it. After reaching it, it took a couple of seconds, but the elevator's door finally opened. A mother and her daughter came out it and after they were out Jan entered it. The daughter attempted to pet Maimu but the mother held her arm tightly, forcing the daughter to keep walking. Jan pressed one of the buttons and while the the doors began to close the woman glanced once last time at Maimu. Her face had a strange combination of both fear and disgust.

Miya rose from her slumber and slipped off the couch, wrapping the blanket tightly around her body and head as she paid no heed to the human boy or her fox companion. With quick and suspicious glances across the room, the Leopard cat pulled open the fridge door with an awkward tug, astonished and bewildered by the cool breeze the came out. She proceeded to pull out each and every bottled item that lined the machine, setting them on a small pile beside the mini fridge until she reached an odd, red can. Miya cautiously put her ear to the cold metal, listening the sloshing of an unseen liquid inside as she shook it. With a quick bite on the side of the aluminum can, the hybrid determined to drink the mysterious fluid that was hidden within. The room was soon filled a scream, and a gaseous explosion of fizzing liquid.

Tommy turned quickly as soda exploded from the fridge. Miya had screamed and was getting sprayed by the sticky liquid. he ran over and took the bottle from her, getting sprayed in the process. He laid his hand over the hole, running over and grabbing a dirty towel from his waist basket. He wrapped the can in it and held it there for a couple seconds. He opened it again and saw it had stopped spraying out soda. He sighed, looking down at his drenched shirt. "Well, that wasn't expected." He chuckled, then dropped the soda in his trash can. He walked out the door and into the bathroom, grabbing some small towels. He jogged back into his room and placed a few on the floor to soak up the liquid. He then walked over to Miya and started to wipe what he could off her with one of the towels. "You okay? None in your eyes?" She was soaked completely, and she smelled like soda as well. He sighed. "I guess we both need to clean up, huh?"
