Same here, should post later today. I was too sleepy yesterday, otherwise I'd have made a post earlier.
EDIT: ...That was rather long, so apologies here. I'd planned on covering a bit more than that in my post, but I've given it a break before it got even longer. Let me know if I made any mistakes, such as assuming what was in my room and whatnot, as I was pretty much making it up as I went.

hey guys, since Mine/Lev won't be participating anymore in the RP, I was wondering if I could plan some relationships and eventual drama with you? I had some stuff planned out with them, but it seems that it will need to be adjusted now

@GIO well, Chandnis hella awkward and hasn't really been around a lot of kids her age, so I'm imaging she'll probably have a crush on one of the boys, though later she'll have trouble managing it since she's sort of stinted in the whole relationship stuff. It'd be 14 year old stuff, probably a breakup coupled with maybe petty revenge, all while working. That'd definitely make some character interaction more loaded in my opinion, especially if they hold grudges. Then we can choose the path to continue, do they make up? Do they hate each other forever? Etc.

That was pretty much part of what Evangelion was about, so i guess it would fit right in. You'll have my blessing regarding that. Something i should say since I'm still rather new to writing is that Alan has issues regarding women/girls, something that i might've been too vague about and might not have conveyed properly. So whatever you might have in store for him, he might not work along as well as hoped, so please don't take it personally when he doesn't.HanaJuni said:

@GIO oh man I would be more excited than offended! I like having direction, but I also really like surprises and the human element, so I'm actually very much looking forward to it. I guess Chandni will fall for little Alan soon and it's not going to be very smooth ;3

That sounds interesting, fits nicely with Evangelion after all. I was going to say that Gabriel might've been a bad candidate for that, with his preference for being somewhat distant and general nihilistic attitude (even if I didn't get to properly portray him like that just yet...). To be honest, I was predicting that she'd be a bit weirded out about him, if anything. Maybe the other characters will too, after some time. But looks like that situation's resolved.
On the other hand, regarding Lev, how should that be treated in RP? It might be because this is the first forum RP I'm taking part of, but I'm not sure how that'd be handled. The trope "Put On a Bus" was the first thing that came to mind, and there are a few others relating to that, but I wanted to ask to be sure or to bring that up to be discussed, at least.

@Beundo i took care of Lev's departure, saying he was shuttled off to another branch. Perhaps it came be regarded as a transit error? Or he was called back to the Russian branch?

It's a bit unlikely for me to post during Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays since I wake up early and return late, usually too sleepy and I'd rather not make a post in that state. Just wanted to let everyone know if it takes me a while to post, and that it's in no way lack of interest.
I was curious if anyone played Neon Genesis Evangelion: Shinji Ikari Raising Project. In case you haven't heard about it, it's a computer game in which you control Shinji and your decisions affect the outcome of the story. There's battles, dialogue choices and choosing the schedule for each week, which can increase Shinji's stats. Outcome of battles are determined by statistics and luck. In other words, it's a Visual Novel / Sim / Battle hybrid. Being part VN, there are routes and endings, not limited to the usual 3 pilots (Rei, Asuka and Kaworu).
It's a bit old, but sounds very appealing to me. However, since I can't read Japanese and last time I looked there wasn't a translation out (and I don't have my hopes up about that), unfortunately I haven't played it yet. One short review I read said their first playthrough took about 10 hours, and that it only unlocked 20% of the CGs. If I ever get to learning how to read Japanese, that'll be the first thing I'll play.

Hello again, I'm just mulling my position here, just to confirm, all the settings are the same at NGE but in a different location and different characters, we still have all the same pitfalls of the same organisations? Or is there room to change things?

I just wanted to know...is there no interest in continuing this? The last post was mine and it's been more than a month, so I was wondering what everyone thought.
Whether it's a specific issue with the RP(ing) or a personal matter, I just wanted to hear it from everyone. If it's the former, maybe we could talk it out and compromise. If you'd prefer a change of pace for example, it was fine as it was for me since it's still early on in the events, but we could adapt.
@Cross_Rhodes @GIO @HanaJuni @Rurnur @NecroKnight , not sure if you were planning on joining, but @badgerbitesback . There were 3 others marked in the second post in OOC, but I'm not sure of their circumstances or if they would still be interested. Maybe we could check for more roleplayers too...

I'd love to continue this actually, I was just thinking about it not too long ago @Beundo ! I Think a change of pace would be pretty beneficial, more angels and fighting and emotion between the children,no?

There wasn't anyone to be the conflict. Specifically the angels. I think that's why it fizzled out.

I controlled the angels.
I was prepared to unleash them. But I wanted some interaction before that - but that was mostly stuck behind me. Since the other players didn't, for some reason, interact with eachother without my input.

Same! Maybe an angel can attack in the middle of class, similar to in the anime?

That'd be fine with me, if everyone agrees we could have that happen. We could also skip the class(es) and have the attack happen during break time or when they're heading home from school, whichever everyone and the Angels prefer.
I didn't say anything since it made sense to me that the beginning would feel a little slower, but conflict would indeed liven it up. From now on, we could/should give more focus to NERV and the Angels, but the pacing might just speed up on its own after the attacks start.
At any rate, glad to see favorable replies.
