When you suggest an appropriate time for my character to arrive? I imagine her perhaps being picked up from an airport/base, and maybe a slight encounter with her family? It would definitely be awkward for all involved and interesting for those characters who don't have/have issues with their parents ^^

@NecroKnight could in character create the hook for your introduction. I think he'd be in the best position to do so. Same for @Mine.

After our meeting with the Colonial, he could tell Sol and Alan about new pilots and then they go the airport to pick them up?

That would be fine if @NecroKnight wishes, but anyone is free to introduce themselves less formally if they want to, akin to Mari's parachute scene, or Asuka just *showing up*

Hey there! First of all, this might be the first forum RP I'll ever take part in, so I didn't want to just suddenly try submitting a character without saying something here first.


I realize there are quite a few "children" already, so would it be fine to submit another one? I don't feel confident enough to try an adult character. Also, my character would be another foreigner if that's fine. If you'd rather me send the character through PM to you first, that'd be fine too.


EDIT: Realized I can't send PMs yet due to not having made 10 posts...


Sorry if I say/ask anything silly, but first time anxiety and all that. If you'd rather me not participate, that's fine too. I'd be happy enough to just read the posts.

EDIT2: Hope it's fine my first post covered the arrival up to the debrief. I felt like it was alright considering my character arrived alone and that the treatment for the newcomers would be generally the same up to that point.

I'm able to post daily, but considering that my and @NecroKnight 's characters are "frozen" in the briefing room waiting for the two other newcomer characters to arrive, I think there's really not much for us to post for now. As soon as they get there, our side should pick up...

Maybe what can happen is the kids there come and meet the new kids? I mean, perhaps the kids forgot to come to the room, or simple were taking too long. I think it'd be interesting for them to interact in such a setting, as well as them probably telling lev and Chandni about the schooling and scheduling and stuff. NERV will probably cover piloting technicals.

@HanaJuni i have no issue with going that path, though it all depends on how the rest of the group thinks about it. Keep in mind that if you wanted to, that ic i won't be able to interact with you until the next day, or past 03:05 am. The rest should be approachable though.

A timeskip or something would be fine if you guys agree on it, also, i'm going on vacation for 6-7 days starting tomorrow, so i'm sorry if you guys need any help during that time. (Or if someone new applies)

*pokes this group* what are we to do? I really like the potential of this RP but it seems to be going really slow. Perhaps we could plan something to happen soon, such as an angel attack or problems in transiting one of the evas?

It's okay. Personally i think @NecroKnight needs to make one post in which he wraps things up, and then we should be able to continue. Perhaps he's been busy, or like me is slowly succombing to a starting Dark Souls addiction. Anyway, lets give him some time. Rurnur is also still on vacation, so he might be waiting for his return.
