[Kaine]

Aime leaned in, reached over and ruffled Neji’s hair. “You look more tough when its wild.” Her blue eyes locked on his. Her cheeks flushed a little rosy colored when she realized how close she was. Her position was still straddling the branch while his was more like sitting on a chair. She wasn’t sure but her body told her to move closer.


Aimeka’s heart beat got fast enough she felt like it was going to burst from her chest. her hand came down from his hair and across his cheek. This was it! She wasn’t sure how he would react.


Fwsss! The slight, soft sound of a kunai traveling through the air always gave off a slight whistle if it was thrown correctly.


It was unknown why she would of heard such a noise at a sudden time, her sudden thrust against Neji’s chest knocked him backwards off the branch and herself backwards off the other side, though she reached up and grabbed a branch, leaving herself hanging from the tree with a hand.


Thud!


A basic Kunai stuck into the branch with a small note wrapped around its handle.


Aime felt sick, she quickly looked down and yelled, “Neji!!!” Not sure if she had just killed her friend by pushing him out of a tree.

Neji was staring into Aimekas eyes as she got very close to him. This was it they were about to kiss they were both leaning into the kiss. When Neji heard the sound of a kunai. Next thing he knew Aimeka pushed him off the branch and he fell. As he was falling he caught one of the branches and quickly climbed back up to where Aimeka was. "Hey are you okay?" Neji activated his sharnigan as he looked around the area for any signs of anyone. He turned back to Aimeka and looked at the kunai knive "hey there's a note on it."

“I will not say that i know where you are coming from with the person being sickly. But when it comes to the mission, I look at finishing it before anything else.” Riyoshi spoke out as they left the hospital.


Just as Riyoshi left the front door, a sound echoed throughout his mind. His attention darted from side to side as he tried to pinpoint the location of the screaming. Turning his attention back towards Yuka, a bit of fear could be seen across his face.


“Do you hear that! We need to go help them!” Riyoshi yelled out.

 

[Castello]

"Hmf, I can't believe I have the better morale, appreciated ones should always come before a mission." She said loudly in an angered tone, but quickly was distracted by Riyoshi's nonsense. "... your an idiot, there's not a sound of screaming to be heard, go to bed." She said coldly and walked towards the direction of the Jounin to receive her money.

 

[Kaine]

Aime was furious. It was their moment! and it was gone! Pulling herself back up on the branch, she sat there again, fuming, staring at the Kunai. Why would someone of tossed this at them. Let alone it was obvious that they missed on purpose. She let out a hard short sigh trying to calm herself, then she turned to Neji.


“I don’t understand. I always come out here alone. No one should know we are here. No ones ever out here.” She huffed at Neji. Turning her eyes back to the note, she stared at it. “What does it say?”

Western Gate 07

Neji sighed as their moment was gone. They were finally going to kiss but now the moment was gone and who knew if he would get another chance to do it.


"It's okay Aimeka I'm just happy that you didn't get hurt." Neji took the note and read it. He looked at Aimeka "all it says is western gate 07. I don't understand what this person is trying to tell us and why they want to tell us of all people?"

 

[backlash]

“What the hell are you talking about! How can you ignore all that screaming! You must follow me NOW!” Riyoshi yelled out as he grabbed her wrist and began to pull her with him.


His grip upon her wrist was locked in and she would not be able to easily break the hold, not even her ability would be beneficial at this point. He continued to drag her through the streets as they headed for western most part of the village.


“Oh god. The screaming is getting louder. Can you seriously tell me that you can not hear this!?” Riyoshi said loudly as he approached a large gate. The printing upon the doors were vibrant and could be seen clearly, Gate 07.

 

[Castello]

Confused with this whole situation she just kind of went along with it, knowing that he might make himself look like a fool. He didn't really think of much when he grabbed her and when they reached the gate more confusion was gained. She looked Riyoshi in the eye and then looked at Gate 07. "Great you moron you brought us to the middle of nowhere, for no reason! Do you want me to open this gate for you too, I'm 'afraid' you'll get splinter." She said harshly and looked back at the gate, still she could hear no screaming.

 

[Kaine]

“I don’t know! But I for one, want to know who threw this darn thing.” She would punish those who ruined her moment. And they would pay.


Jumping down, she landed pretty swiftly and stood up, wiping any bark from the tree off her hands and her rump. Her hand raised and pointed to a side road that lead along the outside of the wall. “Gate 7“ just down this road.


Aime took off without waiting for Neji. She wasn't running, but it was definitely faster than a walk.


After a few moments she came to the outside of the gate. For some reason there was no guard at the post. She turned back to look at Neji, but she did not say anything. The girl was concerned with what was going on.


Passing through the gates she looked all around. The area was lined with older residential homes. Some of them vacant as this was an older part of the city, where more elder, non-shinobi villagers lived. Ahead though she was surprised at what she saw.


Motioning back to Neji she spoke, “Hey Neji! Look its Yuka and Riyoshi! Hey Guys what are you doing here?”

Neji followed right behind aime as they reached the gate. Neji was very unsure of this do he activated his sharnigan so he was prepared invade anything happened. "I don't get it aime there is nothing here why would the note send us here." Neji turned and saw riyoshi and Yuka here he walked over to them, his sharnigan still activated, "did you guts get a note too?"

Riyoshi did not answer the question, but merely closed his eyes and looked down towards the ground. Snapping his head upm his eyes were wide open, his sharingan activated. His hand let go of Yuka's wrist and shot up towards Neji's shoulder. Just as his hand grazed the young shinobi's shoulder, he rotated his hand slightly and placed it firmly against the back of Neji's neck. Exhaling slowly, Riyoshi pulled upon Neji's neck enough to knock him off balance towards Yuka's direction. With the weight hitting his back foot, Riyoshi took off past Neji and shot towards Aime. Within a few seconds, Riyoshi had his hand around her neck and lifted her up off the ground. Heavy breathing could be heard as words escaped from between his lips.


"You shall not interfere." Riyoshi spoke out with a slightly deeper tone to his voice.


His sharingan was not a of a normal nature, it was almost as if his eyes were soulless, like his life was no longer flowing within himself.

Yuka reached her arm towards Riyoshi, trying to immobilize him, but she was to slow. "You idiot! They are not your enemy you daft paranoid." She said to Riyoshi as her eyes glistened mist blue, as she activated her freeze jutsu and reached her hand out towards Riyoshi. Noticing Neji fell over next to her she deactivated her justsu and went to help him up. She knelt down next to Neji and slowly lifted him so his back was straight and then whispered in his ear. "What the hell is wrong with him! You know him better than I do. Forget it, I'm putting a stop to this." She said getting up. "Hey Riyoshi, Aime is not the one in your way... I am." She said as her eyes changed back to a misty colour, signifying her jutsu was back on.

 

[Kaine]

Before she could even react, Riyoshi was on her, both his hands wrapped around her neck and her toes no longer able to touch the ground. Her hands shot up to his wrists. She tried to pull them apart or anything. Aimeka couldn’t breath. Grasping for air but nothing would reach her lungs. Her eyes turned down towards Riyoshi, her friend, as her head was being pushed up.


Something was wrong with him. His eyes were glazed and soulless. It was like someone was controlling him. Even though she couldn’t speak, he kept mutter something about how she would not interfere anymore.


"Doh...doh..n't hu..uuur.. t... hiii...iiim, neh... neeeh..."


As a last effort before unconsciousness, she tried to hit his wrists as if somehow her strength would overcome his.

Neji had deactivated his sharnigan when he talked to riyoshi. Without having his sharnigan activated he was not ready for this as riyoshi grabbed him and pushed him towards yuka. Yuka came over and helped him up. "Yuka I'm not sure what's wrong with him but I will stop him."


Neji ran towards riyoshi with lighting speed as Neji was a very fast ninja. He made hand signs quickly "lighting style lighting hand strike." Nejis hands became full of lighting chakra as he struck riyoshis wrist. He shocked riyoshis body causing him to let go of aime and causing riyoshi to fall to the ground. It was not a very strong jutsu as he did not want to hurt riyoshi but it was strong enough to get the job done. Neji ran over to aime as she fell to the ground when Neji forced riyoshi to drop her. "Aime are you okay?" Neji looked at her with caring eyes.

Riyoshi was about to crush the young girl’s neck, but was interrupted by the words of a persoin behind him.As he loosened his grip but kept it firm enough to hold onto Aime, he turned to glance at the voice.


“You are not worthy. Your skills are not even on the same level as me.” Riyoshi spoke out as he turned his attention back to Aime.


Soon he heard a male’s voice and a smile grew upon his face. Before he turned his head back, Neji’s lightning jutsu hit him square in his wrist. The lightning was not very strong, but it was enough to release his hands from Aime’s neck letting her fall down to the ground. Riyoshi had stumbled slightly and fell towards the ground. As his right hand made contact with the ground, he rotated it slightly and vanished from sight. Appearing next to Neji, he clinched his fist and thrust it towards the side of Neji’s ribs.


“You are all just flies. I am faster then all of you. There is no way that you can win.” Riyoshi said as his fist made contact with the young man’s ribs.

Yuka's blood boiled and she stared at Riyoshi angrily. "I'm going to murder you, you ignorant brat!" Yuka yelled tearing out her knife from her sheath and running towards Riyoshi, if he touched he would be the one hurt, she had the upper hand on him, she thought to herself. She slashed diagonally towards Riyoshi, however she tried to avoid all the vital organs.


However she realized even Neji couldn't get a thorough attack and she pulled back her attack when she was a couple inches away and awaited his move. She knew Riyoshi used taijutsu, which worked to her advantage. She held her knife in front of her and observed him closely, trying to telegraph his attack.

 

[Kaine]

Aime fell to the ground gasping for air and coughing hard enough to puke out a lung. Inbetween all the pain and gasps she tried to ask.


“Riyooo,” She coughed hard again, “Shi! What are you... Doing!?”


Right about the time, He charged Neji with a pump to the ribs. Yuka in her infinite friendship, also decided that Riyoshi would be better placed as a trophy on wall. Without thinking she got up as best she could and lunged at Riyoshi, trying to knock him away from the others.


“Stop it!!!” The yelling made her cough again and she closed her eyes for a second in pain. Losing track of where or what Neji, Riyoshi and Yuka were doing, she threw herself into the fray.

Neji had activated his sharnigan after he had gotten riyoshi to let go of aime. With how sharnigan activated he saw riyoshi catch him self and come right back at Neji with a strike to the ribs. Neji was able to dodge the brunt of the attack and only take minimal damage. If riyoshi had fully connected with his hit, Neji may have had a broken rib but since Neji dodged most of the attack he was fine. Neji jumped back as now riyoshi was in between Neji, Yuka and aime. "Riyoshi what the hell is the matter with you? What are you doing?" Neji glared his sharnigan eyes at riyoshi as he could see something was differnt in riyoshis eyes it was like he was being controlled or something.


Neji looked across to Yuka, and vanished and appeard next to Yuka. He whispered to her "we need to stop him and your ice jutsu is perfect. If I get his attention and distract him do you think you can freeze his legs and keep him still, so we can see what the hell is wrong with him?" Neji kept his sharnigan activated and stayed looking at riyoshi.

 

[backlash]

Neji was able to dodge most of his power, but he did make contact and a smile came across his face.


“You are quite impressive. The most i have seen since myself that is.” Riyoshi spoke out.


Just as Neji vanished and appeared next to Yuka, Riyoshi had launched out 3 kunai. One went for Yuka’s heart, one went for Neji’s head, and the other landed between their feet. Continuing his rotation, Riyoshi was now faced with Aime in mid air. Launching from the ground, Riyoshi brought his right foot up and connected with the left side of Aime’s face. The force of his kick would launch her away from the other two and more then likely knock her out. Landing upon the ground in a sliding motion, Riyoshi was crouched and looking upon Yuka and Neji. His right eye was closed and his left eye was the only one looking upon them.


“Your move.” Riyoshi spoke out as he pointed at Yuka.

Yuka saw the kunai come straight for her heart. Rather than dodging it she decided to purposly take the hit to her palm, and a small fountain of blood streamed out. She then looked to Neji. "I'll do my best not to kill him, but if Riyoshi is going to be like this, it might just be easier making him a picture frame for my justsu." She whispered to Neji.


Yuka let a long sigh out and eyed Riyoshi. "You arrogant son of a b*tch! I'm going to tear you limb by limb!" She yelled as she flicked her bloodied hand as the blood droplets turned to multiple red icicles that projected towards Riyoshi, some going on the target (Riyoshi) and others flying just to the side. While the icicles flung towards him she decided to go forth with an upfront attack, and ran towards him with her knife in hand.

 

[Kaine]

Aime's eyes grew wide as she watched Riyoshi's foot come up and connect with her face. The pressure built and finally she felt and heard a crushing sound as the cartilage in her nose turned to pellets. She would of screamed in pain but force of the attack launched her into the air as her head shot back and her body lifted from the ground. Her body sailed back a good 10 feet before it finally came to the ground and hitting hard, started to slide another couple feet before coming to a stop


She was down for the count; knocked unconscious. Her bluish hair draped over her face and crimson began to drain from both nostrils like a river. Aime lay there motionless, as if life escaped her.

Nejis eyes were filled with shock and anger as he saw riyoshi kick the life out of aime. "Riyoshi what the hell is wrong with you." Neji looked at aime but turned his focus back to riyoshi. Neji ran at riyoshi and Mage quick hand signs "lighting style lighting strike." Neji ran past Yuka as he was faster then her and struck riyoshi in the gut with his lighting jutsu. This flew riyoshi to the ground but Neji made sure he did not strike any vital organs. "Okay Yuka freeze him now!" Neji stood near riyoshi as he waited for Yuka to freeze him.

Riyoshi was in heaven as he seen the young girl come up with a perfect tactic. Get his attention on the oncoming attack and not on her, but her one flaw was that their was another person on her squad, a very hot headed shinobi. Taking in a deep breath, Riyoshi dodged around the blood icicles and tried to keep his eye upon the girl as she ran towards him. But as soon as he was in the clear of the attack, he was met by the electrical attack of Neji in the gut. With a smirk upon his face, Riyoshi looked down upon the ground as he had two kunai stuck into the ground with metal wire leading up and around the wrist of Neji. Just as he looked Neji in the eye, he puffed into a large smoke cloud. Appearing in the alleyway of one of the buildings behind Yuka, Riyoshi began clapping his hands.


“You are starting to be a pest. You shall not interfere anymore.” Riyoshi spoke out as he turned his attention back towards Yuka.


“Now, you are the one that I wanted to fight.” Riyoshi spoke out as he kept his right eye shut.


Taking off into a dead sprint, his speed outmatched even Neji, Riyoshi ran straight at Yuka. He was going to put her through the paces and test her defense.

 

[Castello]

Yuka looked to Neji as he passed her and she reached her hand out. "No you idiot!" She said, but was to late, Riyoshi the spider had caught Neji in his web of iron wire. He looked back to Aime, who was out cold, and Neji was tied up. "... Damn, two of us down." She said sighing. "Seems like the job is mine."


She said and fixated her eyes back on Riyoshi who was charging her. She did a quick hand sign and the blood from her palm now froze over her arms, like gauntlets. She stumbled slightly from the sudden lose of blood, but she quickly got back on her stable feet and pulled out her knife and paid close attention to Riyoshi. At the same time she splattered more blood on the ground in front of her and waited for Neji to come, when he came in range of one of the many blood drops it would become a short icicle, that would grow to about knee length. She pretended like she was up to nothing and looked back on him.

Neji smirked as he struck riyoshi in the gut, but then next thing he knew he had medal wire around his wrist holding him in place. Neji looked up as his sharnigan eyes met riyoshis lifeless sharnigan eyes and then riyoshi vanished into a cloud of smoke. Neji was in shock but, his thoughts from earlier were confirmed that riyoshi was being controlled. While his cousin was an excellent taijutsu ninja his ninjutsu and genjutsu were fairly weak. Neji turned and looked behind him as Yuka was holding her own. Neji started to get frustrated when he heard riyoshi say they Yuka was the one he wanted to fight. Neji struggled but broke free of the wires around his wrist. Neji was about to rush back at riyoshi but he decided he needed to calm down and figure out a plan of attack. He focused his sharnigan at riyoshi looking for anything that could help him. Neji then vanished and appeared next to Yuka. "Okay Yuka we need to figure something out. Who ever is controlling riyoshi is a string shinobi. Riyoshi does not know these jutsus. As he appeared next to Yuka. He saw riyoshi sprinting towards them. Neji made hand signs. "This will add more defence with your ice crystals in the ground." Neji finished his hand sighs "lighting style lighting mine trap." This lighting jutsu set up lighting explosives in the ground in the areas that Yuka did not have her ice crystals. If riyoshi stepped on one it would created a large lighting bolt explosion.
