Right now I'm trying to decide between having a Knight and a Ninja in my party....


An auto-defend for low-health characters (which would come in handy since I'm going to have a Devout in my party), lower-level cure spells in case my Devout runs out, and good defense against magic vs high speed and the use of dark blades including the blood sword at the cost of lower defense against magic (high-level focused magic could 1-hit K.O.)........

Oh poor indecisive me...


Why doesn't someone with complete knowledge on everything FF III descend from the heavens and say, "Dude, just pick this job."

My luck-obsessed OC would totally have an Evoker, Geomancer, and Bard in their party... Maybe a Viking or Knight if they wanted to be safe and Scholar, Freelancer, or Onion Knight if they want to have super risky battles. ( - w -


Hoshi might have Magus, Dark Knight, Thief, and Ninja

Maybe I'll throw my DS at the wall and if it falls screen-up I'll choose Ninja, and if it lands screen-down I'll choose Knight.

Final Fantasy III is one of the Final Fantasies with a job-system where you can choose different jobs for your characters. They all have different special abilities, use-able equipment, and stat strengths....


Usually I don't bother strategizing in games. Like pokemon, I just use whatever looks cool. But it's fun with this class system and unlike things like pokemon THERE ISn"T HUNDREDS AND TONS OF THIGNS TO CONSIDER

I think this one will be the first one I actually finish. I started playing VII a few times, but since it's on our PS3 which anyone in the family can use, I either never had access because 1. someone else was using it or 2. someone used it when they werent supposed to and the controllers were taken and no one else could play


Same thing with FF XIII


And my brother was lending me V, which I made some progress on until my mom took my controllers just because it was night-time months ago AND I HAVENT GOTTEN THEM BACK

The story is really bland, with bosses you can easily go x3 of what you need and 1 White Mage, and the whole lowered stats when you switch classes certainly doesn't help. FF3 is just really annoying to me. FF13, on the other hand, I love to death.

Yeah, the job adjustment phase is super annoying.... And then your characters are vulnerable and its annoying


i totally agree the story's kinda bland


some bosses were harder for me, but it mightve been that in the beginning i didnt even try to strategize and i just used what looked the coolest


ive been playing this for such a long time because i tend to get bored of videogames and take breaks that end up lasting really long, unless they really grab my interest


up until right now ive never used a white mage, either. since i didnt really bother thinking about classes, like i said xD


 
im a little disappointed because i like the sages outfit more than the devout's, but its a sacrifice i must make
