Mysterious World of Fandom (Main Plot)

The youkai girl's non-spells pounded mercilessly into the eldritch abomination's hide, already severely wounding it. As she continued to pepper the beast with danmaku fire, she heard the boy yell something unintelligible to her ears. It wasn't until she heard a dull roar come rumbling forth from the earth when she decided to look down. Shadowy claws dug into the beast and dragged it into the void encompassing its entire being. Satori wondered whether this was a trick of the beast's, and her suspicions grew until she felt the beast's own feeling of panic. Knowing she no longer had to continue her attacks, Satori eased up and allowed the patterns of deep pink she was shooting to cease their assault.

One problem was now solved, and another was soon to begin. Cautiously, she drifted away from the dying abomination and touched down on the surface of the ground, a calm, resolute expression still on her face. Admittedly, she had not stood or walked in a few hours.

What was that from the killer? He was...impressed.

''He must have observed this whole time," she sighed lightly as she thought. "He could have at least shown some concern for his own life and fought back."

The pink-haired satori turned her head over to the boy. He seemed to be concentrating on the spell of darkness he was casting. She was genuinely rather impressed--both he and the girl were prepared to defend themselves against danger if need be. Satori closed her eyes and gave a tired sigh as she readied herself for the onslaught of probing questions she would be asked, as she already knew suspicion would most likely fall on her.

(sorry for bugging you potatogod, but may Artorias discover ink again? if not thats fine.)

while Artorias is moving, he hears something in this distance, it could be in his head. but he moves too the sounds location anyway, just too be safe. finding someone right now is his top priority.hopefully the skeleton and the other two or so being are not the only ones that are here. otherwise this will be difficult.

Yoshikage Kira

The sound of slow clapping resonated throughout the area, the source being "Kosaku Kawajiri," who had done nothing but observe since the fight began.  Judging from how these three fought the beast, he now had a general idea of their powers.  Kira now had two advantages over the group, his stand Killer Queen and it's three unstoppable bombs, and a basic understanding of their abilities.  However, so long as they didn't know of his true identity, he wouldn't have to kill them.  "You were all simply astonishing in that fight, had you not been here to defend me, I would have been killed for sure!"  Kira gave a small smile to his new "friends," an attempt to assure them that they had nothing to fear from him.  "Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get the names of my saviors before I take my leave.  I'm a very busy man obviously, and I'm afraid I can't being staying here long.  I need to find my way home as soon as possible before my next shift tomorrow at 10:30 AM."

@NekoQueen49 -> @Ammy

Homura gave Kosaku a cold glance. He was back on that 'normal' routine. Was this his way of trying to gain trust before worming into their ranks? Well, if she called him out on it like last time, he would probably snap again and do the same thing as before. They had to get away from him before that time came. They would have to play along with it for now. "Akemi," she repeated her name quietly. Hopefully her first name wouldn't trigger anything as he only heard it once. She hoped that the others would play along long enough for Kosaku to leave.

Leon D.S. Geeste

Leon swallowed the lump in his throat as he was suddenly reminded of the fourth member of their little gathering. If only he had the strength then he could have attempted to knock him into the spell. It would have been unlikely for him to escape both his trap and the monster's grasp, yet in his concern for the others he even called out to avoid it. Mentally scolding himself over his poor planning the boy slammed his book shut suddenly in frustration over everything, turning to Homura as she spoke. It was nice to have a name to put to her. Shortly after he introduced himself in this timeline Kira began his assault. Yet now for reasons still unclear he seemed perfectly content to hide behind that fake veil of friendliness.

"Ronyx," Leon spoke, looking toward the ground surrounding Kira's feet. The very last thing he wanted was for him to begin putting everything back together, and as such couldn't bring himself to make eye contact with the killer. Instead he continued to follow in his ally's lead, throwing out the name of a man he had never meant yet came to know everything about. "Ronyx Kenny. With that, I'm off. I have things to do," Leon said bitterly, turning away from Kira and passing Satori as he made his exit. The boy had no idea where he was headed though at this point he didn't really care. It wasn't here and that was more than good enough for him after everything he had just endured.

Satori looked the man, Kawajiri Kosaku, fully in the eyes, her own eyes unblinking--piercing, even. She spoke softly yet clearly. "Doe. Jane Doe," she responded with a playful, faint smile. The boy was flustered and rapidly leaving, and she wondered if the girl would follow suit. The third eye on her chest steadily blinked and stared up at the killer's forehead. By this point, she wondered if her obviously false name would anger the man.

The Starving Monster

The Starving Monster tried fighting to break free but failed. It growled at everyone it saw.

????????

It failed. The monster failed. It knocked down 3 of the dominoes but they weren't heavy enough to knock down the rest. His pieces weren't placed in the exact right place. He needed to try again eventually... And find another pawn in his game. He needed someone powerful and ruthless enough to murder these people without any second thought there was a bear and a woman talking to each other. Weird... He watched them both carefully. The bear didn't seem like it was strong enough to do anything so he inspected the woman. She seemed rather... Interesting. Something about her just irked him. The pawn, the Starving Monster was killed. They now know that they aren't alone. Knowing this he could plant a seed in everyone's mind.

"Hello all... And welcome. I am no one important. Just know me... As The Gamemaster." The Gamemaster went into the mind of everyone and spoke to them "You are not alone. Everyone and everything else is my pawn. I am playing against you in this game. It only has one rule. Win. Survive. Beat me. Good luck."

Veronica listened carefully to the voice. This 'game master' had quite a bad name for a person. Who calls his son 'game master'. Or was it a robot or perhaps just a nickname? She did not know, but whoever or whatever it is. She did not like this. When he mentioned them being pawns, she mutters "Face me, coward. Let me show you what happens when you mess with the General of the Commonwealth Minutemen and the director of the Institute."

"Its a game. A game of survival." He paused. "One, by one. Will die. Its not to kill or be killed, no. Its how long we can escape." He looked to the group. "If you want to survive, follow my orders." "This world is a world we don't know much about." "This 'game master' is someone else. He will kill us, if not, each other." "Its not our game. Its his."

"....What? I demand an explanation! More intel if possible!"

Barked Rogady. Shadow Stalker sheathed War and started meditating, as if in a deep thought. Rogady wasn't in the mood to think deeply on the other hand. A game of survival? Why?

"And by what do you havd authority to command to us?"

Rogady barked again. A stranger informs him of this world. Needs comfirmation. Tells him to follow his command. Shadow Stalker gestured Rogady to stop.

Shadow Stalker

Shadow Stalker made a list of questions, and placed them in the middle of his mind. Whatever this situation was, he needed a good plan.

"It may be a trick to start a fight, yes."

Shadow Stalker said. Rogady looked at him.

"For whatever reason this Gamemaster... hunts us, I believe a number of good fighters may benefit us."

Rogady grunted.

"Among the small amount of things you said, that seems quite valid."

He muttered.

If she wanted to know the truth and if beacon really did fall, then she'll have to find the 'game master' and take him down. Working is the only option she has for survival.

She goes on aimlessly, hearing the Gamemaster speak. The shadow beneath her feet seemed to slowly grow, as if waiting for her command to become a shadow raven or another shadow beast or weapon she could create.

Yoshikage? That was different than his name before. He must have given a different name before but he had to give his real one since it seemed the pinkette had the ability to see into minds. Not that it mattered. The other female could take care of herself, so Homura didn't have to worry about her. Leon on the otherhand... He was still injured but even then she couldn't blame him for leaving. A part of her felt the urge to follow him, but Homura wasn't exactly Leon's keeper. He had displayed he too can take care of himself. She should just leave on his own.

Then again, they could travel together for now. She needed to leave this place as well. With those thoughts in mind, Homura turned and left in same direction Leon took.

Hol Horse

Hol Horse withdrew his Emperor and tilted his hat down over his face.  Trying to sound cool, Hol Horse said, "I guess we must've scared it away,"  But in reality he was more than a little scared.  A game!?  Is there really someone in this world so cruel that they'd put the three of them in danger just for someone's entertainment!?  He also figured that Penny might be terrified of this 'game' and decided to comfort her a little bit.  He turned around and faced the two of them, "Hey, at least we don't have to kill each other!"  Hol Horse gave another hearty laugh, but this one seemed more forced than the last one.  Wait a minute, Hol Horse nearly forgot about how Keeper had tried to defend them earlier.  If he remembered correctly, he shot a whole bunch of coins out of nowhere, and this in particular piqued Hol Horse's interest in Keeper.  Mustering up his courage, Hol Horse boldly asked him about the coins, saying, "Say, buddy, those coins you shot wouldn't happen to be real, would they?"

Diego Brando

Diego had decided hide with Rohan in the bush, his equestrian cap poking out just a little bit through the brush.  "A game, eh?  If this is a game then that means there must be prizes..  I say if the two of us were to win this game, we'd be able to get back home no problem.  Hell, we might even get some money or something out of this."  Diego was getting into this a bit more than he should've, but if this game really did have prizes, than Diego Brando wouldn't allow any 'pigeon' to lay their hands on them.

"I don't doubt it" Keeper said referring to Hol's question of weather their existed someone cruel enough to gather them only to play some game "Too often have I been played by God. One minute he uses my mother to kill me, the next he saves me with bashing her over the head with his own scripture." Finished with his miniature rant, he nods to Hol's exclamation of how fortunate it was, he wasn't going have to kill either Hol or Penny. this is despite his rather notable distrust of the cowboy. But Penny seemed to enjoy his presences, so Keeper felt it was his duty to at least tolerate Hol Horse's presences. He turned towards Hol and answered his question about his coins "And unfortunately, No those coins weren't real, they were counterfeits. Though I honestly doubt that anyone but myself could see the differences"

"...Thank you." Penny replied as Hol finished his laugh. She knew that his attempt to comfort her was sincere and she was feeling a bit of worry about this 'game'. It appears that Keeper can protect himself by means of throwing gold at his opponents. It's a relief that a child can protect himself. Yet Penny was worried about the bigger picture, what if Ruby was here? Will she have to be the Game Master's pawn?...No. Penny will never hurt her friend, even if the world turned against her. "Shall we venture on?" she asked politely, wondering if there's a town nearby.

@billthesomething

"Looks like we'll have to stick together then." Rohan remarked, "By the way...I never got your name...Er...'DIO'?" he read from Diego's cap, since it would be quite weird for him to know his name without even him telling it once.

Diego Brando

Diego raised an eyebrow at Rohan, he guessed he'd have to share the prize(s) with Rohan when they won.  Assuming he didn't kick the bucket before then.  "Dio's just a nickname, I didn't bother telling you my name because I figured you'd know who I was considering who I am."  With one hand, he pulled down the collar of his turtleneck below his chin, smiling with teeth and giving a thumbs up.  "Name's Diego Brando, London's greatest contender in the Steel Ball Run!"

"Where the shell am I?!" I groan and open my eyes. "What shell fah brain brought me here?" I stand up and look around I'm in a weird abandoned china shop. "DAH SHELL WHERES THE SHELL HEAD THAT DID THIS!!!!" I pull out my sais and glare around and realize it's empty. "...well this is awkward...." I grumble and kick the shop door open and see a vacant street. "This is insane...and not New York." I walk out decide to look around.

Leon D.S. Geeste

In the last hour Leon had somehow angered a serial killer by doing absolutely nothing, nearly been blown away by a coin, and faced the chance of being devoured by some unknown demon. Somewhere in-between all of that was a personal warning from this 'Gamemaster'. What an absurd title to give oneself. As he left the group he felt the excitement of the battle begin to wear off, his body becoming heavy as his head became the exact opposite. Stopping to place a hand to his forehead he nearly fell to one side, stumbling as he struggled to keep from collapsing entirely. The voices of the strange floating girl and his attacker were still audible to him, though the meaning behind them were lost in his current state registering as nothing more than white noise. Lowering his hand to stare at his open palm a smudge of red remained, causing him to sigh deeply. Surely with all of the strange people appearing there would be one with healing magic, but he was sick of fateful encounters for now. Rest would be enough. He could deal with the one speaking to them later.

Hearing a pair of footsteps behind him he slowly turned around to see the first person he had encountered in this place following behind. "Ah. Akemi?" Leon began, the statement of her name more of a question despite having been close enough to pick up on her introduction clearly. His words were much more hollow as exhaustion was overpowering him further with each action. The entire series of events was still extremely unclear to him, but one thing was obvious. She didn't run. She could have just left. They knew nothing about each other, so why did she stay and risk fighting? Whatever she did ended up pacifying Kosaku and as a result she very likely saved his life. Opening his mouth he attempted to find the words to thank her, but was unable to push past his embarrassment to do so and found himself looking to the ground once more. Turning away from her he continued walking ahead.

"I'm going to find shelter. You can come with me if you want," he said flatly, hoping that his next discovery would finally have fortune favoring him.

Satori was wary of the girl and boy leaving the scene, and part of her wished to follow as well. If she began to lose the sound of their racing thoughts, she would quickly escape in their direction. For now, she continued to face Kira, willing to entertain him for now despite knowing the man behind his façade.

She smiled in turn to the killer and remained quite soft-spoken. "What would have you believe that? Mm...Kira...such an odd name to be born with," she reflected on the pseudonym he gave her. "Very fitting, I might add," she thought to herself. All the while, she maintained eye contact with the tall, white-suited man.

For a moment, Homura studied Leon. He must have lost his memories in the blast as well, otherwise why would he be using her first name? Perhaps that was one of Kosaku's- no, Kira's powers. She would have to bare that in mind in case they met with him again. In fact, he might have used said power to get them back to where they were before. She was curious as to what all his powers were and how they worked, but that would involve getting close to him as he probably was the only one who knew. Something that wasn't worth her curiosity.

Homura didn't bother correcting Leon as to what she preferred to be called. Akemi was her name, even if it was impolite to use such familiar terms at this point in time in her culture. It really didn't matter, she supposed. She followed silently, only her booted heels making sound from the fallen leafs coating the forest floor.

"We should head towards higher ground," she suggested after a pause.

"Howdy!" A girl grins, flying in front of Raph and levitating a couple of inches above the ground. Her green-ish cyber goggles retract from her face, revealing a pair of golden eyes.
