Mysterious World of Fandom (Main Plot)

Yoshikage Kira

Kira squinted at this girl, why would she of all people want to know his name?  Was she related to one of his past victims and had finally found out who he was?  He would give her the same lie he told everyone he came across, and he'd do it with a straight face.  "Kosaku Kawajiri, thirty-three year old salaryman.  Now, before I ask you again to remove your foot, I suppose it's only fair if you give me your name?  Wouldn't you say so?"  Kira thought to himself, maybe if he knew her name he'd recognize her in some way.  If she did happen to know his secret, he'd have to erase her with one of Killer Queen's bombs.  He noticed a struggling cat-eared boy in the distance, finding it slightly interesting.  This boy brought back memories of another little boy with a deformity whom he had killed, only this boy was still alive.  He wouldn't be for much longer however if he had anything to do with this situation he was in.

The Starving Monster

1st Person POV

I run though forest. I see food. I watch food. Food looks delicious. 4 pieces of food. Yum. I keep looking at food. I inch closer. I continue watching food. At correct moment I go faster to food. I watch. I wait. I go closer to food. I run towards food. I go rampage with claws out towards food with pink hair (Satori). Hungry. Must eat. I launch at food with no mercy.

"What business is it of yours?" Leon responded, his voice breaking as he poorly hid his concern for the magical girl behind that of fake insult. Rather than drive her off his words only seemed to push her back to the attacker's side even quicker. With their details fading into the distance Leon suddenly sat back onto the ground as a dizzying sensation began to overwhelm him. Just as he had feared the figure had began to move once more, unable to piece together the details entirely. Why? She could have run, or finished him off, or even left him to deal with Kira yet she chose none of those options. Dragging his book back to himself he flipped it open, and slowly began to flip through the pages, the contents within containing various magic circles and illustrations of monsters. As things stood he wasn't clear headed enough to go by memorization. Even the slightest error could result in a terrible catastrophe. There had to be something he could do to end this.

     Satori continued to watch the situation unfold from behind a tree close by, her eyes peeking just enough to see.

     "She is still confronting the man...she truly has no hesitation," she pondered by herself.

     There were thoughts. A new voice—primitive, pounding thoughts. Where was it coming from, though? She began to reach out to her surroundings...

     It happened suddenly. A rustling in the bushes, and some unseen figure leapt from the shadows, claws unfurled and ready to strike. In a split-second, tense reaction, Satori burst backwards though the air to keep more distance from the beast. Unfortunately, this led to her being wide open in that same space she was observing earlier. The young girl, boy, and killer were sure to see her in the open air now. What she was truly focused on now, though, was where the beast could strike next.

Lifting her foot away from him, Homura regarded Kosaku with guarded suspicion. "I see," she murmured. If he didn't remember, if the blast had somehow... They could escape. This had to be their window of opportunity. But then... If Kosaku somehow remembered-

Homura's thought process was interrupted by Leon's voice. She glanced back at him. "We should leave. There's no use to be here anymore," the raven haired girl said. If her decision had consequences, Homura would be the one to deal with them. Without checking to see if Leon would follow her, Homura turned on her heel to leave. That was until another female came crashing into the field on which their stand off was occurring. Another that looked to be somewhere around Leon and Homura's age, maybe a bit older. Homura watched calmly, almost coldly at the pink/purplette. More distractions. They needed to get away from the danger...

Another unexpected event, yet another girl has appeared out of nowhere.  He could only see the back of her which he found to be slightly annoying.  If this new girl was with these two and also knew about him, then he wasn't too sure if he could handle all three of them.  Luckily,  the girl on top of him lifted her foto,  allowing him to stand up.  He noticed his suit was now covered in dirt and some sort of black liquid, which only added onto his annoyance.  "Hold on, you two aren't going anywhere until you explain yourselves."  Kira turned his attention to the new girl, who seemed just as eaget to leave as these two.  "Don't you leave either, I have questions for you too."

@Ammy@NekoQueen49@Captain Gensokyo@TrueBananaz

     Satori turned around and looked from person to person, each in the eye. Ignoring their scrutizing looks, she calmed herself and sent out a message all of them could hear. She knew that the girl would at least recognize the voice.

     "Please, listen to me. You are being hunted," she said telepathically. "A bloodlusted beast is heading this way."

At Homura's words Leon folded the corner of the page he found himself on slightly, disapprovingly shaking his head at his own actions. Desperate times called for desperate measures. Slowly pushing himself up to his feet he followed behind his companion, his breathing heavy as he tried to keep up with her pace. The young mage wasn't entirely sure of what had transpired but he wasn't going to question it. For now he just wanted to rest. "Hey, um. I don't think I've-" He began, only to stop as a new figure burst into the scene. The first thing he noticed was how she seemed to be levitating above the ground. Letting out a frustrated groan at the sight of another individual with powers he considered pressing ahead. Hearing a familiar voice approach from behind the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. He sounded considerably less hostile than previously. Now might be his chance. Yet there was no way to know if this new person was aligned with the man in the suit.

"Really not up for this game," Leon mumbled, vaguely recalling the voice from earlier.

Annoyance once again pricked at her. If Kosaku wanted them to stay, then they would have to stay. That was his power, wasn't it? She would once again have to confront him. Something she dearly wanted to avoid as it seemed that she could not kill him due to her own weakness. Homura turned once again towards the older man that was amidst young teens.

At the girl's telepathic communication, Homura unwillingly tore her sharp gaze from Kosaku to the newcomer. So it was her all along. They were being hunted. Homura assumed that she wasn't referring to Kosaku. Could they really trust this girl? If what she was saying was true... But if it was false, she might be leading them into a trap.

Homura silently agreed with Leon's input. Right now, he was the only one that she felt like she could trust at the moment. Going along with that feeling, Homura backed up slowly and silently towards him. Again, her impulse was towards independence... But if she had allies, then she should make use of them even if they were incredibly injured. It was her own hidden agenda, even to herself, that she wanted to protect Leon.

The Wanderer broke off into a tense sprint after Dogmeat, who also seemed to be charging ahead as fast as he could. All of a sudden, both dropped to the ground and stared with undivided attention at the trees in front of them.

Something rustled through the foliage. It was quick, but undoubtably large as well. The Wanderer could swear he caught a glimpse of a large outline. But it was also jagged. An unexpected chill shot through his spine. Even a man such as him was daunted by this being.

Dogmeat gave the air before him a slight nudge, followed by a proning gesture. It wasn't too hard to interpret what this means. The Wanderer gave a subtle nod, approving his companion's plan. Both crawled forewards while staying hidden in the foliage, cautious as ever.

The Wanderer's hand instinctively reached down for a firearm, but almost immediately came to the terrible realization that all of his weapons were gone. Could they have been lost when he came to this strange world? He thought about how he'll have to deal with this situation. However, it seems that not all hope is lost; out of the bottommost parts of his packs he dug out an old 10mm pistol. He acquired it when he left the Vault, when his best friend gave it to him to aid in his escape. It is actually in rather pristine condition, due to rarely being used at all. That doesn't change that it was possibly the weakest weapon he's ever owned, but it'll have to do. Atleast he's been hording ammo for that thing.

With a gun in hand, The Wanderer regained some confidence and continued to inch forwards.

     "Can I trust her? She could be in league with Kosaku," the girl's thoughts echoed within Satori's mind. The girl backed closer towards the young boy, her thoughts and feelings displaying her desire to protect him. The girl was warily eying both Satori and the killer now.

     Satori, the youthful pink-haired girl, lightly winced at those words. Of course, they were strangers to each other, she knew. She recalled that healthy skepticism was something often valued in humans. Honestly, she still did not know whether she could trust her or the boy, and if she hypnotized them now, it would leave them vulnerable to whatever was waiting in the darkness. Still, something in her fully aware conscience believed in the good of these two young outsiders. The third eye resting on her chest was still curled around her body by a long yellow chord, and its gaze twitched from person to person.

    Satori was now fully exposed to these three strangers. However, even more threatening matters were at hand...

Kira heard the words in his head and narrowed his eyes at the girl, his full attention now rested on her.  This girl, how could she speak into his mind?  Was she also a stand user like himself?  "You there, did you do that?  Were you the one who spoke in my head just now?  Choose your words carefully or you might just end up regretting them."  If this girl was a stand user she could be a threat to his peaceful life, and if she was then it could very well be the end of her.  Before he could continue that thought, a beast suddenly jumped out of nowhere, snapping at the new girl with it's sickly fangs.  The sight of this monster shocked him, there was no way in hell this thing was a stand, it was too grotesque to be anything of the sort.  Killer Queen could no doubt make quick work of it, but since it wasn't so much an immediate threat to him, he decided to see what these three could possibly do.

@Ammy @NekoQueen49 @Captain Gensokyo

Though Homura was hesitant to have the girl stir up what had seemingly magically gone away, she too was curious as to what the other female did. But that curiosity was easily squashed in the obvious dangerous situation.

As soon as the monster jumped into the clearing with them, Homura's guns were already trained on him. This time though, she actually got around to squeezing the trigger. Sharp bangs, long used to the wielder, came forth, aiming for the grotesque, sickly white head.

Leon D.S. Geeste

Leon stared wide-eyed at the abomination that had followed Satori out into the open. The fact that the pink-haired girl had remained eerily silent this entire time was peculiar enough to him. Was she manipulating it? She certainly appeared capable of it going by the obvious fact that she had powers. Was there a single normal person in this terrible place?

Staring the creature down as it inched closer to the newcomer, he let out a sigh as he held out his book in front of him and flipped it open once more, pointing to the monster with his index finger.

"Deep Freeze!"

The clouds quickly began to gather around them rapidly darkening the sun-filled plains they had been in since his arrival. The air rapidly cooled, and only seconds later small white flakes began to fall from above. First it was only a light spat but it increased in intensity until it was nearly blinding. With several loud cracks, massive chunks of ice began to shoot from the ground itself in various spots surrounding the group until they approached the monster and burst into existance in a circle around him, making contact with its bare flesh and freezing the tentacles attached to its lower half in place.

     In one moment, the monster dove for Satori, hoping to make her a mid-day snack. In a flash, she flitted out of the beast's trajectory and let its velocity carry itself forward into a crash onto the ground. Before she retaliated, though, she noticed the beast's limbs frozen in place. Ice? There were wounds in its hide, too. She decided not to ask too many questions in her head. Now was a good opportunity to subdue this beast. She seemlessly slipped into the beast's primitive consciousness and confronted its instincts head on. She had a heart for animals, but this was a being far different—a monster with no heart of its own.

     "Cease your movements," she commanded to the subhuman monstrosity.

     Satori extended her arms to full length on both sides and summoned a simple pattern of danmaku. Rose-colored energy projectiles sped forward into the being at full force in staggered lines. This being would not need to be offed with a spell card, she believed.

The Starving Monster

1st Person POV:

What is this? I charged at pink haired food but midway I am frozen. Food fights back? Sorcery! Must be free must be free. I try to break free of ice but can't. So hungry. Must get out of ice to eat. Must eat. Must eat. I'm Trapped. Can't eat. The pink haired food speaks mysterious language. I do not know what it says. I must be free. I must be free to eat. I speak to it using my native language. I say "Let me go". To food, it comes out as a roar. It is a language for me.

??????????

1st Person POV:

I watched this outcome. I placed the pieces in the exact right place at the exact right time. Three were dead. Those three deaths were going to be dominoes. You know down one, or rather three, and you will knock down the rest. One precise hit and every single other domino will fall down until there are none left. I placed the pieces in the exact right place at the exact right time. Soon, they will knock each other down until there is none left and I will win the game.

Hol Horse

Hol Horse narrowed his eyes and looked around, quieting his own breathing so he could hear better.  "Miss Penny, stay close to us, Keeper and I can handle whatever's coming."  His serious expression turned to one of worry, boy was he glad they couldn't see his face with his back turned to them.  "You can handle yourself in a fight, right big guy?"  Whatever creature made that sound, it was certainly dangerous, and if Keeper couldn't help him fight it off than they were in serious trouble.  No, if Keeper was as weak as he was suspecting, than it would just be them who were in trouble.  Hol Horse could just run in the opposite direction of the beast and give them the best of luck.

Was that really the right thing to do though?  Running away from a losing battle wasn't new to Hol Horse, and he had definitely abandoned comrades before when things had turned sour, but this time was different.  Penny couldn't be any younger than your average teenager, if he left her here with big, bad and ugly there'd be no way she'd survive.  This whole ordeal was giving him a bad feeling in his stomach, like when you eat too many gassy foods and the next bathroom is 5km away.  Was Hol Horse really willing to risk his life for these two strangers?  He literally just met them, he knew nothing about them, what did it matter to them if they died?  The cowardly cowboy's breathing returned to it's normal pace and then quickened as he worried about which choice would be the right one.

@billthesomething@Thepotatogod

Keeper chuckled at the cowboys question, He walked up to the cowboy so he was right beside him then answered him "Mr. Horse, i think you will see soon enough, that i am quite capable in a fight, Ms. Polendina I would heed Hol's advice, no need for you to endanger yourself, when you have to perfectly good fools to do it for you" Coins began appearing around Keeper's hands, he closed his eyes and began focusing in on the creature's sins. He could sense gluttony within the beast, A large mass of it and unlike Hol Horse, the creature seemed to lack control over itself. This caused Keeper to grin as he reopened his eyes and began firing a barrage of coins (not unlike that of a shotgun) towards the creature @TrueBananaz @Thepotatogod

"Affirmative." Penny said, as she stood a short distance behind Hol, her back compartment opening, preparing to summon the blades at the moment's notice. For now, Penny needed to keep an eye out for the creature, glancing from side to side. She had a few guesses on what it could potentially be; A Creature of Grimm, or a completely different specie of monster. Penny was uncertain on what it is, but if the creature was on sight, she wouldn't hesitate to launch her blade at it to protect the child. . .

@TrueBananaz

The magical girl was grateful when Leon cast the ice but she was also concerned about his health. Homura eyed him for a moment before directing her attention to the others in the field. Kosaku still remained unmoved, looking as if he were simply observing for the moment. He truly did lose his memories then. Then to the female, she was extending her arms upwards and what looked to be witch-patterns were streaming off of her. It brought back haunting memories but Homura could tell these were different from their lighter color. Was it possible? A good Witch? Or was it a trick? No, it couldn't be either. Madoka wished them gone from everywhere. But it would be just like her to instead have Witches of a different nature.

Homura started forward to study the beast at a closer distance. "It's not going anywhere," she said, nodding towards Leon in her way of praise. It was the closest to a 'good job' from her that people could get. The pinkette was also directing some sort of attack. Was she finishing the beast off? Homura silently wondered.

Veronica kept following the man she saw, until he went for a sprint after the dog. Sprinting in power armor was a waste of power unless it was absolutely needed. She kept with her normal speed towards the direction she saw the man sprinting to. After a small time, it seemed she lost him. "Dammit." She mutters "First person I meet and no chance to talk."

She takes a look around, mostly seeing trees. So many trees it could've been a dream about the pre-war time. She had not seen this many trees since she entered Vault 111. She activated her pip-boy through the screen in her armor to try to find her location. Only to find that her pip-boy could not find out where she was. When she switched to radio, none of the radio channels strong in the Commonwealth were received. No Diamond City Radio, no Radio Freedom or the classic music one. Was she outside the Commonwealth? It was just weird, first this place, then a man walking in something that looks very similar to a jumpsuit from Vault-Tec and a roar that sounds like a Deathclaw. It couldn't been chems, she wasn't a drug addict. She stopped using her pip-boy and continued walking. Hoping to find that man again, or someone else.

( @TrueBananaz are there any radio frequencies that Veronica can pick up?)

It failed. The monster failed. It knocked down 3 of the dominoes but they weren't heavy enough to knock down the rest. His pieces weren't placed in the exact right place. He needed to try again eventually... And find another pawn in his game. He needed someone powerful and ruthless enough to murder these people without any second thought there was a bear and a woman talking to each other. Weird... He watched them both carefully. The bear didn't seem like it was strong enough to do anything so he inspected the woman. She seemed rather... Interesting. Something about her just irked him. The pawn, the Starving Monster was killed. They now know that they aren't alone. Knowing this he could plant a seed in everyone's mind.

"Hello all... And welcome. I am no one important. Just know me... As The Gamemaster." The Gamemaster went into the mind of everyone and spoke to them "You are not alone. Everyone and everything else is my pawn. I am playing against you in this game. It only has one rule. Win. Survive. Beat me. Good luck."

Rather than continue staring at the monster Leon immediately went back into his book, flipping between spell as he hunted down his next attack. Lifting his head as the bright light from Satori's magic attack filled the area before shooting forward to collide into their target, the mage pressed the tip of his index finger and thumb to his tongue and turned one more page, smirking as a familiar circle revealed itself.

"Of course. All according to plan," he said with a nod to Homura, making a conscious effort to at least appear like he was a little bit cool in front of the magical girl and youkai. Holding the book outward a purple light filled the page as the spell circle activated, a large void appearing underneath the starving beast where its shadow was. Several thin rope-like strands of darkness ending in what appeared to be clawed hands rose from below, wrapping itself around the creature's massive body and gripping tightly. As it began to gradually sink into the portal the flesh in contact with the portal quickly turned monochrome, turning into dust before breaking apart under its own weight.

"...oh! Right, try not to get too close. They don't discriminate." Leon warned, casually his latest attack in motion. So long as the creature didn't have any nasty tricks up its metaphorical sleeve then it wouldn't be able to harm anyone ever again. Preparing to let out a sigh of relief, he was cut short by an all too familiar voice speaking once again. "Get over yourself," he grumbled, too exhausted to challenge the bizarre introduction any further than that.

after listening carefully too what the voice in his head just said, Artorias gives a growl before walking off, he has a new goal in mind, too kill the game master. but needs allies too do it, so that is what he is looking for, hopefully there is someone in the path in front of him.

'Game? sounds like a cheap manga I read...' Rohan thought as he hid in the bush near the side of the road, watching the strange trio, He didn't know what Diego did, but he was sure he did something sensible than let himself be found by the trio.

"So I guess the goal is to beat the bad guy?" Ink said after the Gamemaster spoke, still walking forward in a random direction. Ink knew that he could just get out using wet ink(like the one he puked) but for some reason, it wouldn't let him travel through universes. If ink wanted to regain his ability, then he had to find this 'Gamemaster' and bring him to justice. "This'll be fun~" Ink smiled, as he continued to walk with his companions.
