Desmond

Desmond had been listening quietly to the group for some time. Heavens man had successfully managed to get everyone excited about their costumes and support items. He had a fair idea of what he wanted, so he didn’t really feel like discussing what he wanted, after all it was his costume, and he figured it would be better to bounce ideas of the department that would make said items, rather than get himself worked up.

“Well, I’m gonna head to my room. I don’t know about all of you, but I’m exhausted. We’ve got a long day ahead of us it sounds like. Not to mention a day with Heavens man....So good night?” Desmond waved to the group with a small farewell, and headed to his dorm room. Which was plain, but very clean. Desmond flopped himself onto he bed and considered what How exactly he would manage his quirk in the future. If anything that entrance exam had showed him that his quirk was still pretty weak. He needed to make it stronger, develop it further! And so he slid himself off his bed, and sat on the floor legs crossed. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he began to practice adding and removing more and more weight even faster than before, as exhausting as it was, he knew he could do much better.

"Why don't you just get closer?" The teakettle girl made it sound so simple, the issue was how to get closer while being attacked by someone who no doubt try their best not too let him get in range. Before he could explain that a boy hogging a whole plate of cookies seemingly agreed with her but mentioned getting some kinda mobility boosting support item that would leave his hands free. That made more sense in Jack's opinion and he was glad he asked for help. However it wasn't until Seiryo not only mentioned martial arts but a specific technique he used that things really clicked. "I could always use both, the support item would be obvious after all so some special attack as back up wouldn't hurt."

Jack got up, ready to follow the brunette's example and head to his room. "Well while I still have time I'm gonna try and think of a good support item but would you be willing to teach that Dragon's Gaunlet move sometime?"

Lily

“Armbands are really cool! That would definitely look cooler than long sleeves!” Lily admitted while she wasn’t a fashion connoisseur she could understand Hikaris distaste for long sleeves. One boy was told that he needed to be able to get closer when fighting glad I don’t have to worry about that that’s a hard problem to solve. she thought to herself when her friend began making costume suggestions to her again.

Wrath of nature is kind of a cool theme. Lily blushed red at the idea of being a femme fatale she wasn’t sure if she had the right attitude for all that! “I don’t think I could pull of femme fatale I don’t think I have the right attitude or confidence for that kind of costume! I do like the idea of using my flowers for something but I’ve tried to make them grow before...also plants on my costume could be cool but I can only control living plants and I don’t plan on watering my costume everyday...but I do love roses.” She admitted. Seeds were always easiest because most of the time they could live for a while without actually growing. A boy with blonde hair mentioned that the school had gifted them laptops which was a relief because she didn’t have one and there was no way she could’ve afforded one.

“I hope we don’t have to be up too early, it’s nice that the school gave us laptops though.” She addressed the blonde guy at the table. After that two students decided to head to bed. Lily was also exhausted but she wanted to stay a bit longer to talk to her friends a bit more and to eat some more snacks before bed. She’d already eaten about 4 and had drank almost all of her tea. I guess that trip to the infirmary did a number on my appetite! I could eat this whole cookie platter by myself!

Ryusei Hikari
Lily's reaction was everything Hikari had hoped for, prompting a fit of raucous laughter, and spiritedly slapping her hand on the table.
"Sorry! Sorry!" She finally managed to make out through uncontrolled giggling fits.
"You're just too cute y'know!"
Once she finally regained her composure, she returned to helping herself to assisting her friend in polishing off the rest of the massive assortment of snacks, spiritedly joining the others in small conversation, and of course, offering more of her excellent nuggets of wisdom, regardless of whether or not they'd asked for it.
---
"Hmm...Looks like the party's just about over." Hikari notes with slight disappointment, looking around the increasingly empty room, the emptied tea kettle, and the now, mostly barren collection of empty plates and leftover dishes.
Jumping out from her seat, and stretching out the small knots that had formed in her muscles, she tiredly yawns, acquiescing to the fatigue that had managed to finally catch up to her.
"Well, I guess it's for the best that we call it a night. Got a big day ahead of us tomorrow!"
After pushing her seat in, and inhaling one last leftover cookie, Hikari turns and makes her way towards the door, regarding Lily and the rest of her classmates with a small wave.
Once she crosses the room, and places her hand on the doorknob, she suddenly pauses, looking back towards the remaining patrons within the room, with an earnest, glowing smile on her face.
"It was really nice meeting all of you..." She suddenly announces.
"From here on out, we're gonna be like family, so let's all do our best!"
With those cheerful, parting words, she's gone for the night, vanishing just as quickly as she'd appeared.
---
Away from the others, and now out of sight, Hikari finally allowed the day's exhaustion to creep into her muscles, practically having to drag her body to her room.
Once she was there, she wasted no time in flopping haphazardly onto her bed, and flipping onto her back.
However, as tired as she was, she couldn't find any rest, only managing to stare up at the ceiling, as realization finally managed to dawn on her.
She was really here.
She was going to be a hero.
How could she sleep, when she was already living a lifelong dream?

Lauren Forsythe

Lauren opened her eyes and glanced at the clock hanging on the wall of the bathhouse. No one had come in while she’d been resting. She looked at her hand and winced at her prunish skin. She stepped out of the bath and moved back to the changing room to dry herself off. Changing into her pyjama’s she lazily wandered back to her room.

She wondered what sort of classes they’d have, would they be normal school things, or would they start the hero training immediately? As she entered her room and spotted her support item case lying on her bed, she made a mental note to hand it in tomorrow. Glancing at the small desk in her room, she hadn’t noticed the laptop neatly tucked away at the back, a power cable already plugged in.

She took some time to carefully change the bandages on her ankle, pulling them taut and slipping a large fluffy sock over her bandaged foot. Bright and pink, it reminded her of the masked girl who had been going on about cute things, Lauren frowned and pulled the covers over her and nodding off to sleep.

It took Jack a while to find his room, unfamiliar with the dorm as he was but eventually he found it. While the room was still somewhat barren the bed looked more inviting than he thought. Still he ignored it for the time being and instead started up his new laptop. His first idea involved him adapting one of his gauntlets to come with some kind of grappling gun attachment but he quickly rejected it because the whole point was keeping his hands free. His next idea was just too silly to use even though it might be cool, so the rocket punch gauntlet was reject the instant Jack thought of it.

Eventually though what he believed the best idea he could get hit him, roller skates. After doing a bit of research however he quickly learned roller blades offered better balance, specifically when they had a low center of gravity. That however left the issue of debris and stairs or otherwise uneven ground. Taking the time to switch between regular shoes and the roller blades wouldn't work so Jack instead decided on a mechanism to retract the wheels into his shoes and release them ion an instant, though the exacxt matter of how to do that he left to whoever would make them. That doen he copied his design and got ready for bed.

Kotonaru Sekai
During the exams Kotonaru had ignored everyone from the start. Whoever she had encountered she gave them a cold stare and walked away silently. Kotonaru was never always like this before, though that was in the past. Everyone here is an enemy, she reminded herself remembering the night before.

Kotonaru was training with her elderly grandfather, who was a hero known as Mr. Harmony. He was training her with her quirk, something they always had trouble with. He always said "don't get emotional or personal stuff mixed with hero work or training". That was always hard for her, she dwelled on the past constantly. That was her weakness but at the same time her strength. Reminding her self about what happened the night her parents died gives her the push she needs when she's battling.

Kotonaru decided not to show off her quirk the whole exam. As the exams started she was passed by several other, many which stood out to her. When she was inside she was immediately attacked by a robot. As she leaped and reacted quickly she activated her quirk, already ripping the clothes she had on. Kotonaru shifted to allow her leg to hit the top of the bots "neck" and she quickly grabbed the head and tried ripping the head off but the robots were stronger than she estimated. Kotonaru used her claws to tear at the wiring, from the side she saw the arm swinging up to catch her. The head was loose she either needed more time to tear at the head or something to knock it off. She hopped on it's back and quickly tore the wiring in the arms. The arm was in her grip and used it to fully knock the head off. She cackled as she jumped off the bot and ran farther in the exam.

Kotonaru took the arm along with her seeing that is was very useful. She deactivated her quirk as she jumped from tree to tree. Seeing other participates being captured and other fighting them. Instead of waiting for a robot to find her she looked for them. She meant up with another robot and did the same as she did with the robot before. Ripping of it's head with the other bots arm. That's when she heard it. Applicants. This is Head Teacher Manipulator. There are 163 of you left. At least 9 will fail. You have a 5 minute break, and then when the testing resumes, you will have ten minutes left. Your task has changed. You must destroy at least two faux villains to pass. Those that already have done so will be removed from the testing area and held at registration. Do well."
She made her way to the exit and stood tuning out Heavens man. And seeking her dorm once he was done shouting. Ignoring everyone else like before. She silently prayed that no one would talk to her. Kotonaru had an idea what she wanted as a costume. She definitely wanted a cape that for sure. There was one support item that she wanted, Shurikens. Kotonaru requested something with elastic shorts and a tank top because she releases a lot of heat when transforming.

Kinjo Kobayashi was heading to class 1-A but didn't really have a idea where to find it as well it's a new area, he won't know where to go right away, so he started to stumble around, as he walked his necklace of the number 1 hero Deku hang and jingled a bit as the boy ran around to find his class "Agh where do I go? hello?" the boy calls out hoping he can get some help.

Corvo Damiano
Corvo made his way back to his own room after everyone had dispersed. There were a lot of things that he had to think about. What support equipment would go well with his quirk, he wondered? After hearing everyones thoughts and ideas, Corvo had a relatively good idea as to what he wanted. I need to keep the amount of time I use my quirk to a minimum. In order to do that, I’ll have to ask the support team if they can make me a suit that has a built in exoframe. Not only would this help him to rely less upon his quirk, but it would also help minimize the amount of aura he needed to use when he did activate his quirk.

As for ranged attacks, I might try getting them to make me some grenades. Hopefully they could find a way to have him store his aura. For now, I should focus on getting as much rest as possible. It would give him and his quirk some time to replenish. He looked around his dormitory, remembering how the cleaning maids said that they hadn’t finished cleaning his room. I’ll have to clean this up before I can get any rest... Corvo went straight to work, leaving his dorm a spotless masterpiece before he finally went to bed.

Lily was still sitting enjoying the last of her snacks. I should head to bed. It’s kind of late and everyone’s dispersed. She got up and cleaned up after herself “I’ll see you tomorrow!” She said to Christopher as she turned to leave she heard someone calling. Thats weird I thought everyone was already here. Maybe they got lost.[/i] She left the common room to go follow the voice of the unknown person, down one hall and around a corner she ran into a boy with white hair and blue eyes who looked incredibly lost. She walked up to him and looked at his paper before realizing they were in the same class.

“Hey we’re in the same class! I’m Lily it’s nice to meet you. It’s kind of late everyone’s gone to bed already but you can follow me to the dorms.” She said as she led him back toward the common room. “Here’s the common room and you can get to the dorms through here.” She explained to her peer before entering the room. Once inside she noticed another student who hadn’t been in the room before. She had white hair and purple grey eyes. Thats too bad she didn’t get to meet anyone before they all went to sleep...the least I could do is say hi before going up to my dorm. she walked up to her and gave her a smile.

“Wow I guess white hair is really in right now!” Lily joked awkwardly before offering her a handshake “Nice to meet you! My names Lily and this is...” she hesitated looking back at the boy she’d picked up in the hallway “Um...I actually didn’t catch your name. Sorry about that I was so excited to show you where the dorms were I completely forgot to ask!” She admitted embarrassed. She looked back to the girl “I’m assuming your in class 1-A so we’ll all be classmates! Sorry you two didn’t get to meet everyone they already went to bed.” She felt a bit bad that they’d missed all the other students but she was glad she at least got to greet them before the first day. “I’m actually about to head to bed soon myself. We have a big day tomorrow.”

Kinjo turned and sees a girl and then he says ""Oh yeah I am, I was told to start tomorrow anyway" he follows her to the dorms and says ""Wow these are cool"" He then shakes her hand "Kinjo Kobayashi, but call me Kinjo or Kin, it's very nice to meet you Lily"" he then says as his stomach growls "Does this place have a kitchen?" he chuckles while rubbing the back of his head embarrassed a bit but just wants some food and go to bed but.....he also doesn't know what rooms are vacant.

Kinjo says to Kotonaru "Hey nice to meet you, I'm Kinjo and you are?" he asks wanting to know his classmates and thought she was just a bit shy around people.

Kotonaru Sekai
Kotonaru just stared at the brown haired girl and looked at her hand with a raised eyebrow. She grumbled and gave her one of her usual cold stare that said, 'You might not wanna talk to me'. She looked at the guy with white hair. Kotonaru mumbled incoherently and tuned out what she ranted on about and she was especially frustrated when the boy with the white hair tried to get to know her. "I couldn't care less about you or any of the ignorant idiots that attend this school." She said coldly as she walked past them grumbling for the second time. It's way too late for this whole "friends" thing. she thought as she headed to her dorm only to workout until 2 in the morning. I don't need friends, they only get in the way, she reminded herself when she felt a bit guilty of how she responded to the girl.

The next morning, the students would be waking up to school administrators walking through and knocking on doors. Class 1-A would be getting two very enthusiastic individuals, a brother and sister team. Almost in sync, they would each knock on boys and girls rooms, respectively and say, "It's time to rise and shine! First day of school, waste no time! Let's go go go! Start the show show show! Yeeeaaaahhh!!!" Then they came into the common area, did a little dance, and left just as suddenly as they came.

Heavens Man would be waiting in classroom 1-A for all the students, already having his curriculum ready. After the book studies of the normal school literature (math, science, history, etc.), the Quirk Apprehension test would begin!

Desmond

Desmond practically crawled out of bed, more akin to a zombie than a student excited about his first day. He was exhausted, and not for a lack of sleep. Desmond was always exhausted in the morning, something about getting out from under warm sleepy covers just did his body wrong. But he was still excited for their first day, and wanted to get up and over to the classroom quickly.

Slipping on his school uniform sloppily, he loosely tied on his tie, threw on his jacket and went out the door. He was surprised to find the little maid robot already waiting at his door. “Greetings master, may I clean your room?” The little robot piped up from the floor. Desmond wasn’t really sure how to respond...

“Uh... sure?” He said as he moved out of the way for the little maid.

“Be more confident, show some respect!” The little maid robot chided, which took Desmond back. ‘Jeez, are these robots like mini Heavens man’s or something?’ Desmond thought as he left his dorm room door open, he wasn’t sure the little robot could open it himself.

“Close the door when you’re done, please?” He asked as he walked down the hallway. “Yes sir!” Echoed down the hall behind him.

Desmond quickly ate the breakfast that had been prepared in the kitchen, a full Japanese breakfast of fish, rice and tofu. Once completed he found a little pamphlet/map of the campus sitting on the common room table, and headed to his first day of school in class 1A.

To the unaware, it would seem almost as if a living dead was roaming the hallways within the dark early hours of the morning. The soft shuffling of feet of a girl in Pajamas several sizes too big to the point of drowning them and flowing well past her wrists as she empties the food from the refrigerator and begins cooking what looked like a meal for the full dorm, though in reality? it would vanish down behind their mask as quickly as it comes. On the plus side, this did have their awareness improve vastly and returning the energetic peppy demeanor she held from the day prior, today she would get to talk over her costume and her first day of class...but first morning exercises!.

A few hours later she was returning into the hallway to stand just behind some strange dancing duo dancing around the hallway before shooting out of the door, she really wanted to ask what that was about but they passed her in the common room before they could get a word out, It was probably nothing major anyway though. The excitement for the first hero class did cause her to have some trouble focusing in the book classes, she wasn't really used to a classroom setting in general so the experience was novel in itself but with the day's main event still on the horizon, it remained in the forefront of her mind. So come a class time she was happily skipping through the door of 1-A fully adorned in her uniform, though similarly oversized as the rest of her style and looked around the room in eager anticipation before finally landing her eyes on the teacher. Oh right, what was his name again? She wrote it down but pulling book out might come as rude...Vanmen?, Heather Man? hmm best wait it out im sure he will say it again, so instead she simply waves happily and goes to take her seat with a good morning greeting sans the name.

Corvo Damiano
Corvo was already awake by the time the brother/sister duo had come knocking on everybody’s door. He finished buttoning up his uniform, looking over at himself in the mirror hanging from his closet. The formal wear appeared natural on him. His hair was groomed nicely and the tie around his neck looked refined. I wonder what training they’ll have us do today, he thought, turning to face the doorway.

There was nobody outside when Corvo exited his room. Some of the others might have already went on ahead. He walked over to the common area, making himself something to eat before heading over to where his class would take place.

There was somebody else making their way to his classroom. Desmond Marlow. That was his name, right? Corvo passed him up in the hallway, saying nothing. He wasn’t planning on getting too friendly with these people, even if they were going to be with him for a majority of the time. I’m only trying my luck with U.A. I never told Boulder that I would actually stay. If it turned out that this hero gig wasn’t for him, then it would be better to leave with as few connections as possible. Besides, Corvo never really was one for conversations.

When he finally reached the door to classroom 1-A, Heavens Man, and that dog-girl from before, were already occupying the space. He scrutinized the room for a just a moment before taking a seat near one of the desks in the middle.

Kotonaru woke up to the sound of yelling and knocking on her door, what a sound to wake up to, The hell do they think they're doing shouting this early?!, she thought already getting frustrated on the first day of school. She got up took a shower as she brushed her teeth and did her hair. She decided to leave it down since she didn't really care about it now. As she got dressed in her uniform she looked at herself in the mirror, Do we have to wear skirts.. she asked herself, Kotonaru didn't like wearing girly things such as skirts. She wanted to put a hoodie over it but she knew it was against dress codes so she decided not to.

She had eaten one of her grandfather's homemade protein bars on the way to classroom 1-A. She threw away the wrapper passing by many other students she already despised once again grumbling. She'll probably be doing that for quite some time.

As she walked into the classroom she had spotted what she secretly referred to as the yelling hero, Heavens Man. She also spotted a girl with a dog mask, the boy with white hair from last night, and two boys with brown hair. She didn't say 'hi' or 'good morning' she didn't want to start a conversation before and definitely wasn't going to start one now. Kotonaru sat down at the farthest desk in the back.

Kinjo sat down as more people came in and just looked around the class waiting for every, he was honestly excited to see what quirks everyone had, he thought it was gonna be fun and say the girl from last night with purple eyes as she sat down in the back, He was honestly curious about her.

Seiryo Teshigahara
Seiryo had been in his room all night after what took place in the Dorm's Common Area, too excited to sleep properly so he did push-ups and squats until dawn. As the sun rose, he checked the computer for his schedule, and memorized it. After getting his uniform on and tying his tie to an almost perfect fit, he went to the 1-A Classroom.

"I'm finally here." He walked into the classroom and quickly took his assigned seat. He waited for the teacher and all the other students arrived. As he did he took notice of the room, and it's layout.

Lauren Forsythe

Lauren begrudgingly opened her eyes, glaring up at the ceiling of her room as the loud knocking persisted at the other doors down the hall.

Who would hire someone so abrasive? She wondered as she ripped the covers from her and sat up.
She glanced at the mirror in her room and frowned, her hair always went wild in her sleep, splayed this way and that she wondered if she had a secret electricity-based quirk that caused her hair to stand on end and defy gravity. Sighing she took out a comb and a bottle of product and began the painstaking task of fixing her ludicrous locks.

Though time-consuming her method was efficient and Lauren soon felt content to get dressed into her uniform. There were some painful ahoges that remained standing despite her efforts, so Lauren donned her black shanter hat to cover them. It fit nicely with her uniform and Lauren made her way down to the kitchen to eat a hasty breakfast. Her endeavour fixing her hair had taken most of her morning time so she wasn't able to brew herself a cup of tea. Lauren made a mental note to wear a hairnet that night to reduce her morning routine time the next day.
Others were prepping themselves as Lauren ate, but she felt no urge to speak to them. When finished she grabbed her bag and made her way to class. She clicked her tongue as she saw the familiar site of Heaven's man standing at the front of their class.
Annoyingly someone had already taken the furthest seat. Lauren, avoiding eye contact with their teacher, did her best to take up a seat as far away from the front of the room as possible, and sat down.

"It's time to rise and shine! First day of school, waste no time! Let's go go go! Start the show show show! Yeeeaaaahhh!!! Jack was glad he was already awake when someone started banging on his door cause that would have been a terrible way to wake up. He shut his laptop down and made his way to the common area for breakfast, while he wasn't gonna complain about the Japanese food he had secretly been hoping for pancakes or something since it was a special occasion.

As soon he was done eating he followed the map on the common room table and headed to class. Unsurprisingly he wasn't the first to arrive but the fact that there were two whitehaired students he hadn't met yet was a bit odd but there were stranger looking people so he didn't pay to much attention to them for the moment and sat down in the middle row, reasoning that troublemakers would probably sit in the back and that by that logic Heaven's Man was more likely to focus on students sitting there

Ryusei Hikari
On an unknown street, in an unknown city, a brave, beautiful, long-haired heroine stood valiantly against a terrifying villain.
Once, he had worn the title of hero, but over time, his sanity dwindled, and he devolved into a blood-soaked monster, killing indiscriminately with the cruel blade held tightly in his hand.
"FOOLISH FALSE HERO!" The man bellowed dramatically, brandishing his katana threateningly at the woman before him.
"YOU MAY THINK THAT YOU HAVE THE UPPER HAND, BUT YOU HAVE CARELESSLY ALLOWED MY BLADE TO BITE INTO YOUR FLESH!"
Unfortunately, the villain spoke true, a fresh cut carved crosswise across her left eye, having only missed bisecting her eyeball completely by a scarce, few millimeters.
However, despite the truth in the man's words, the hero still stood defiantly before him, an undaunted smirk gracing her bewitching features.
The villain pulled his sword close, his snake-like tongue slithering out hungrily from behind his lips.

"...AND NOW, BY THE POWER OF MY QUIRK, YOUR LIFE SHALL BE FORFEIT!" he declared victoriously, before enthusiastically swiping his tongue across his blade, sadistically imbibing upon it's fresh, crimson coating.
"AAAAUUGHHH!!! MY TONGUE!" the villainous fiend suddenly wailed, the sordid smell of burning flesh and steel filling the air.
"H-HOW CAN THIS BE!? THIS BLOOD IS TOO HOT!!"
Boisterous laughter came to him as a response, the proud heroine staring him down triumphantly.
"Of course it is! You think I let you cut me on purpose?"
With a single flick of her wrist, and a stylish twist of her head, she wiped away the blood surrounding her eye, revealing a freshly formed scar, that snaked across her eye like a small, red bolt of lightning.
"I just wanted to disable that gross tongue of yours, and to get a cool souvenir to show everyone after I turn you in!"
Charging forward, the hero valiantly declares,
"Now prepare yourself...FOR ANOTHER TASTE OF BURNING JUSTICE!!"
---
In her dreams, Hikari once again stood triumphant against the forces of evil, having vanquished yet another foe.
In reality, however, her body was gracelessly splayed out amidst a ruinous war zone of twisted sheets and tossed blankets, a loud snore reverberating from her throat as she dreamed happily of giving evildoers a well-deserved kick to the teeth.
The sound of someone knocking upon her door, along with a loud, enthusiastic cheer, caused Hikari to suddenly bolt upright, sending the pillow that had been draped across her face flying across the room.
"H-Huh!? Bwuh?" She groggily slurred, wiping away the dried drool clinging to her cheek with the back of one hand, and the remnants of sleep still clouding her vision with the other.
For a second, her lavish surroundings seemed unfamiliar to her, until her mind finally managed to recollect the events of yesterday.
Right, right...Gotta get ready for hero school... she casually thought to herself, finally crawling out of bed.
After a lengthy bath, followed by an even lengthier hair-drying session, Hikari donned her new school uniform, adding in a fetching, over-sized red bow to keep her hair tied back.
Next came the most important part of her morning routine; simultaneous well-balanced breakfasts, followed by some communal radio exercises to get her body ready for the day, and to shake off any remaining stiffness from another night of restless slumber.
To her surprise, she managed to pick out one familiar face among the crowd of like-minded students; the girl with the strange mask from last night.
What really shocked Hikari, however, was that they were the only two in their class to attend!
Didn't her classmates know the power of daily early morning exercises!?
---
After all of the hard work she put into waking up, Hikari spent most of her time in her literary classes half-listening and half-not, too distracted with heroic daydreams, and doodling costume ideas in the margins of her notes.
Eventually, the seemingly endless book studies ended, leaving only one thing between her and the only class she'd ever looked forward to attending; a massive bulwark of a door, emblazoned with only three characters, written in fresh, red paint; 1-A.
Shoving the door open with little effort, Hikari, true to form, loudly announces her arrival, cheerfully shouting,
"Good morning, everybody!"
Stepping into the classroom with her head proudly held high, she claims a seat by the window, where she could bask in the pleasant rays of the sun.
However, so enamored with the prospect of starting her first class of heroism, Hikari failed to notice the black hole of negativity that had sat down in the corner, only a few desks behind her.

Heavens man

1583762733661.jpeg

Waking up early to attend a first day morning faculty meeting, Heavens man quickly dressed, if you can call it that... and walked to the school administrative building. Staff meetings were annoying, but on the way he passed by the dorms to see lights were on, some of his students were already awake and getting ready? Heavens man smirked as he felt a small sense of bride in that. This really would be an excellent class this year.

Once the faculty meeting was over, a boring common meeting about class quirk safety and scheduling, Heavens man turned in to his classroom. It was pristine as always. He checked his watch, fifteen minutes until class started. Good. He went over to his podium and began writing his name on the chalk board. Today would be a good day for a test. He had watched the entrance exam footage, but he needed to see the maximum these kids could do in a controlled environment. Besides, if they couldn’t impress him here.... well... they might just not be impressive at all, yet. And with a confident smirk, powerful pose and shades so dark they showed no hint of his eyes, Heavens man awaited his first arrivals.

Lily

  • Lily watched out the window as her mother argued with the man in the suit. She couldn’t remember his name but he always came to get produce that was out of season. Her father would grow it on a whim defying nature, and the suited man would buy it and reap the rewards. He hadn’t been in the ground a week yet and this man was already pestering her family. Lily clenched her fists and stepped outside.

“We can’t make the apples grow any faster without my husband I’m sorry! You just got a shipment a few week ago!”

“A contract is a contract! You are obligated to give me my shipment by law or I will bury this farm!”

    “Please my husband just died...”

    “That’s not my problem lady!”

“I can get you your apples.” Lily interjected the two adults stopped to listen to the child. “Follow me.” She said as she led the man to the orchard dismissing her mothers sobbing protests. My fathers gone and all this greedy man can think about is apples...Human lives really mean so little? He was a good man. Better than this scumbag who gets to live to an old age. She’d never been in a blind rage before. This emotion was so new. She stopped in front of the leafless trees. “I can grow plants like my father...but unlike him I don’t just speed up the growth. I can make them move too.” She explained as the man walked towards the trees. “Let me show you!” Lily yelled as the trees erupted in leaves and blossoms. The branches grew and wriggled like snakes “I’ll give you more apples than you know what to do with!” She yelled over the sound of stretching and snapping branches. The trees grew to enormous sizes their branches weaving together in unnatural ways, tangling in tight knots snapping off other branches as if they were battling each other. She had lost control of the plants for the first time, the trees continued to grow until her mother jumped in slapping Lily across the face and knocking her to the ground. She looked up at her mother tears streaming down her face. “Why’d you stop me?! I can fill the order! I can do his job!” She yelled as her mother stared at her with a look of shock and horror. Lily looked past her mother, in a knot of twisted branches out stuck the suited mans arms. Just as twisted and knitted as the branches that held him in place. She hadn’t heard the crunching of his bones over the blood boiling in her ears. She stared in stunned horror as blood dropped down the tree branches and that was the last thing she remembered before everything went black.
