Listening closely to the various introductions she rocks her head and torso from either side, hands upon her crossed legs all the while. So many interesting people to see and more than a few potentially cute ones, she could only chuckle again at Jacks comment "I mean I really didn't listen to the cat so kind of missed what we were meant to do in all honesty, I was just seeing what the robots could do as well as stopping them bullying the other people in there...." stopping to think for a few moments "I honestly got distracted and lost count of how many, but yeah I stopped after they let me head out...wish I could have stayed more but well rules are rules I guess." a final shrug with another wide grin.

"I mean the infighting was just because people were getting over-excited and too serious, but I mean they really wanted to get into this cool place so can't really blame them for trying everything that came to their minds....just some of them might not have been thinking of the bigger picture, no worries though its all in the past now" turning her attention now to the question of the other new person, giving out a long list of information that did make logging it down in her notebook later a lot easier, he even got people to talk more about of their quirks which were really fun for her books. She was waiting for her own turn to respond, raising her hand about to speak about her own quirk when the announcement over costumes grabbed her attention and distracted her.

"Oh Costumes! yeah I want to go" standing up atop her chair and reaching into her baggy coat and pulling out a worn notebook with costumes written on the front in bright pink, even without opening it though crinkled pages and bloat hinted at a good deal of images or cutouts pasted in. Jumping across the room towards the room she begins to skip onwards before turning to the others "There are so many cute ideas to try out, plus all the cool little gadgets ive seen heroes use...its like walking into a toy shop only this time i can do more than just look!". She never really did have any real money for such things though given this was all covered? she could finally work down her wishlist, though she would still need to grab the cans and stuff she could for anything else but the rest of the place was great so all in all it really was a great place.

The girl was hopping from foot to foot as she waits for the others to be ready to head out, as excited as she was it would be a bit rude to just run on ahead after the offer.

Heavens man

As all the students geared up to leave the dorm rooms deciding to head to the support department, the door opened once more. This time, rather than a doe eyed student entering, a familiarly large muscular man entered wearing no shirt and white slacks.

“Where do you all think yer going?” He asked with a booming voice. “Psyren‘ll be takin your costume notes tomorrow. Its already 430pm, she has enough to finish today with her own department. If you don’t remember, I am Heavens man, pro hero and class 1A home room teacher and dorm supervisor. I’ll be takin care of ya.” Heavens man walked looking confident and radiating unquestionable authority. He quickly began counting heads. “Hmmm, and it looks like not everyone’s here yet.” He added As he walked over and sat on the couch. “If anyone has any questions- costume or otherwise, ask em. Tomorrow’ll be busy, so this might be the only chance ya get for awhile.”

———————————-

Desmond Marlow

Once the announcement finished Desmond couldn’t help but immediately start thinking about what kind of costume and support items he wanted. He already had an idea for a costume, but support items? He hadn’t really thought of that. His performance had been fine, but he’d had some trouble with the robots. His fists could only do so much... but what else could he do? His thought process was interrupted as the other students in the room began chatting about going to the support department right now. He liked that idea, maybe talking to some support staff would give him some ideas?

Though even that was smashed when none other than Heavens man entered the room and basically told them to forget it. Home room teacher? Dorm supervisor?! Desmond was incredulous! How unlucky! He didn’t know how to handle guys like these.... he tried to resist his urge to groan, since heavens man didn’t seem like the kind of hero to take kindly to that sort of thing. Though, Desmond was surprised when heavens man sat on the couch and offered to answer some questions... which was very surprising, since he didn’t look like the kind of guy who liked to answer kids questions.... Desmond couldn’t help but scratch the back of his head, totally unsure how to handle something like this....

Ryusei Hikari
The nurse took hold of her arm, forming a connection between Hikari, and the bedridden girl.
She felt a small, prickling sensation within her limbs, and then, all of a sudden, that familiar flame within her was gone.
Instead, her insides grew quiet, before blooming forth with a newfound inner peace, like a flower bathing in the sun on the first day of spring.
Hmm...This isn't so bad~ She thought to herself, a tranquil grin plastered on her face.
Without all of that excess energy, I actually can kind of think clearly now.
Like that old nickname...it's a bit strange now that I think about it...

A small note of discord creeps into her mind, causing her smile to falter, then to fade into strained panic as realization finally sets in.
Wait...they weren't talking about 'four-headed monsters' at all! They were talking about my--!
Suddenly, another prickling sensation in her arm pulls her away from her train of thought, and the return of a warm, familiar inferno immolates it into nothingness, forever lost to the recesses of her subconscious.
The nurse finally lets go of her arm, before helping the healed girl back to her feet.

Seeing the girl back up and on her feet and her eyes no longer covered by bandages, washes Hikari with a warm feeling of blissful relief, satisfied at a job well done.
"Well, I--!" She begins...
And then unceremoniously ends, as the nurses abruptly shove her and her new companion out the door, leaving them alone in the hallway.
---
With a congenial smile, the girl introduces herself, thanking her for her assistance.
Crossing her arms proudly over her chest, Hikari happily replies, "No problem! All in a days work for the future Ace Hero! The name's Ryusei Hikari, but you can also call me...err...uhh..."
A sudden, alien thought worms into her subconscious. Some unknown feeling that she couldn't quite describe, but causes her to hesitantly blurt out, "Um, You can just call me 'Hikari'. "
Quickly recovering from her little episode, Hikari scans over the small note Lilly had pulled out from her pocket.
"Yeah, that's the same class and building I was assigned to..." She explains, then cheerfully adds, "...But you can check out your room later! Let's go back to the commons and getting something to eat, you've gotta be starving!"
With that, Hikari took hold of of the girl's hand, and briskly led her to where all of their classmates, and unbeknownst to her, their teacher, waited.
---
"Hey! I'm back!" Hikari announces, slamming the door open with her usual amount of tactfulness and discretion.
Pulling Lily inside along with her, she cheerfully adds, "...And I brought along a friend!"
It wasn't until she'd entered, that Hikari realized that the tension in the air had risen a few notches since she had last left.
It wasn't hard for her to find it's source; the large, intimidatingly flashy man, sitting forebodingly on one of the couches.

Seiryo Teshigahara
Taking notice of how his reaction singled him out, he decided that his plan worked. In order to make the others keep their distance, but also calling back the memories to make it believable enough, he no longer had to worry about others, and they wouldn't ask any further about his quirk. "So, I'm going to the Support Department. See you later." As he walked out, he smirked a bit, but not enough for anyone without experience to notice.

It was his plan to test the others in a social environment from the moment he walked in. Stringing together the perfect words, and the actions he needed to pull them off. If anyone passed, it would be the one with the most empathy and the perfect one to be the first to test out his Amplification on. Someone with enough mental and emotional strength to survive him going all out one day. A true partner, and among the others, he would reveal it at the training rounds, the requirements for activating his quirk that is.

Heavens man

The air in the room seemed to chill as seiryo spoke, stating his intention of going to the support department. the already ominous presence that was Heavens man casually sitting in the couch, turning into outright hostility.

“In case you didn’t hear me. I said sit down. Hang out.” Heavens man said, his voice stern and firm, speaking to seiryo without turning to look at him. His face directed squarely forward and stoic. When he waited for a response, and didn’t get one, he activated his quirk, switching the places of kurt , who sat in a chair nearby, and seiryo. “Listen here kid. I dont like repeatin myself and all that. So next time I tell ya to do somethin, how about you say you got it? Got it?” He said, his voice reeking of lethal finality. He let the unspoken threat linger a moment before he remembered the head teachers words....

“Be gentle with them, a soft guiding hand is better than a smashing hand...”

Heavens man maintained his composure but decided to offer a little leeway. “Besides, id like to hear what idea you have. Seiryo teshigahara was it?” Heavens man swapped his place once more, though this time it was him and the seat cushion next to him. Which left seiryo sitting beside him without a cushion to sit on. Heavens man placed a large muscular arm over his shoulders and did his best to smile.... awkwardly.

Lauren Forsythe
Lauren was glad she was facing away from the room as the masked girl started bubbling out her longing for cute things, she was really starting to bug her. Facing away though also allowed Lauren to see who was striding up to their dorm. She felt her stomach lurch as she stepped to the side as Heaven’s Man strode inside.

The one who ignored her decided he’d go to the support course after Heaven’s Man forbade them from going. His reflexive tone of voice and attitude sent shivers down Lauren’s spine.

How is this man a teacher, I might have to get in touch with the principal if he continues to act like that?

The fact that their teacher, with his chest open, had decided to splay himself down on their lounge really bothered Lauren. She looked down at the case in her hand and decided that she’d just have to deliver it tomorrow. Lauren walked across the common room and back into the girl’s dorms, she decided she would rather not stay in Heaven’s Mans company. If she had to see him in class, she was certainly not going to linger by him outside of class.

Maybe she’d go and inspect the bathrooms of the dorm, she new japan liked to have communal baths but the idea of bathing with others didn’t appeal to her at all. She dropped the case with her mask off and retrieved a change of clothes and some toiletries, before venturing off towards the baths.

Psyren

Ren entered her workroom and let out an audible groan as she saw the piles of costume ideas from all the students who had already submitted theirs. As well as the fresh pile from students who had passed the entrance exam. Not being able to carry herself forward, her familiar shifted to a Raven and Ren floated over to her chair in front of the pile. She withdrew a list of the new students and began the slow process of sorting the successful candidates from those who’d failed.

Barely a quarter of the way through the pile Ren found herself head laying on her desk, she was already extremely bored.

“Can’t you sort them for me,” She exclaimed.

The familiar, now in the form of a large praying mantis, scattered up her shoulder and whispered in her ear.

I cannot interact with them, only provide you my power to use.

Lauren clenched her fists and childishly banged them on her desk, the 6 spectral arms she had summoned mimicking her, making loud bangs on the metal.

“Why can’t the other teachers do this, or some of the support students, a lot of them will be designing for these people,” Ren whined.

It was your choice to become a teacher here… this is simply one of your duties is it not? If you don’t like it, simply tear them to shreds and instruct the threats to send new requests, the familiar suggested.

Ren groaned and looked at her familiar which was now perched on the side of one stack of papers.

“But a lot of these are their only designs, that have been worked on since they were little, it wouldn’t be right to ruin them,” She responded. Rolling her head away from her familiar she shut her eyes and soon found herself nodding off to sleep.

Seiyro Teshigahara
As Seiryo found himself without a cushion he stood up, and looked Heavens Man in the eye and smiled, "Yes, sir, Mister Heavens Man." Seiryo thought for a second about his response, then decided to say the absolute truth, very loudly and with a sense of confidence that'd rival the best of prides. "Sir! I don't have any idea what to do about my hero costume! I'm a terrible artist. So i have taken my time on on it. As for my support item, i'm thinking about a bamboo sword, preferably one that doesn't break too easily." It filled his heart with joy to say that. Even knowing how it would make him look.

Lily

“Nice to meet you Hikari. That’s awesome that we’re in the same class!” Lily was relieved she’d know at least one person. “I am a bit hungry” she admitted after she mentioned them getting food together. She was about to question Hikari about her quirks ability when the girl took her hand and briskly led her to the common room. Her new friend entered the room like she owned the class and announce Lily’s presence. She blushed at the announcement and a few her hair bloomed with light purple flowers that fell from her hair to little piles by her feet.
“Hi, I’m Lily.” She said raising one of her hands. Her embarrassment quickly dissipated as she realized how oddly tense it was. I wonder what’s going on... There was a brown haired kid talking to Heavens man about his costume idea but it seemed tense rather than excited. We must’ve missed out on telling the teacher what we want our costumes to look like. Wanting to get her design out in the open and also wanting to cut the tension in the room Lily cut into the conversation.
“Sir, I want my costume to have short overalls with lots of pockets!” She blurted out shed always wanted a costume that had overalls it was her fathers outfit of choice when he was out working the fields and she always matched him when she was helping out. It would be a nice homage to him and her roots. “And some sort of headpiece to keep my flowers from getting everywhere, and I’ve always wanted some gloves that can shoot my seeds farther away than I can throw!” She hadn’t even thought about the fact that she hadn’t told her classmates what her quirk was yet or about how odd that sentence might have sounded and she didn’t bother to explain the embarrassing statement either. Rather than address it she bloomed more purple flowers and then looked to Hikari for help “Um...you said there was food here right?” She asked her friend with a nervous grin and a light pink hue to her face. Her first impression so far hadn’t gone exactly how she was hoping.

Hirokas hand drops midway to the door as the teacher starts shouting from behind, a pout seemingly crossing her features as the announcement of the time is a little hard to argue with as disappointing as it was. "Why even make the announcement if we couldn't go, that's just plain mean...." pausing for a moment to consider a question "Hmm though I guess as far as questions go, what stuff gets covered by the school and what will we need money to actually buy? The entire curfew thing is really a pain if I want to earn anything on the side" trudging back to her previous seat and jumping up landing cross-legged once more with her notebook to once again listen in to the others for a short while going over suits. She give a weird look to Seiyro though as they speak all military like, it really wasnt that cute but it was funny.

"Well for my costume it has to be super cute, no dark colors. Something like this" flicking through the book to something similar to what she has been wearing the entire time just a little neater and less worn before flipping it back to read herself once more "Those coats are nice, then chainmail is cool...I saw some of them at the police station but they said they didn't come in my size" flipping to another page and pointing to what is effectively a bomb suit just recolored with markers and ribbons are drawn on.

"Multiple underlays so its nice and warm, Nomex and chainmail along with ballistic inserts like along the spine...plenty of pockets for snacks, then some cute tinted glasses to keep the dustout. There was a new weave I heard some hero had so maybe that...along with a radio, speaker, headphones and all that neat tech stuff in...I mean if I had to save up for it myself would never be able to afford it but schools paying so hope I can go crazy on it" another laugh as she flicks through several more pages.

Honestly if Heavens man had showed a bit later Jack would already be gone and thus wouldn't have to deal with him. On the other hand that might mean he would have had no way of knowing that the one person he hoped not to have to deal with too much was his teacher. Finishing his drink he threw the can in the trash and sat down on the couch that didn't have a bare-chested pro-hero on it. As he did so Seiryo seemed to try and escape the situation by going to the Support Department despite what Heavens Man said. He didn't get far though

After Seiryo sat down and mentioned wanting a bamboo sword Jack decided that he might as well ask for help with his own costume. Before he could say anything though Hikari returned with another girl, who immediately started describing what kinda costume she wanted. The whole seed thing was rather strange but any questions Jack might have had were answered when the newcomer made flowers appear from nowhere.

Again he didn't get the chance to say anything because Hiroka started asking a bunch of questions. Question which did explain her worn outfit at least. When she was done he decided to finally take the opportunity and speak up. "Like Seiryo I'm not too sure what to do for my costume, except for the fact I'm including gauntlets to both protect my arms and boost the power of my punches."

Desmond watched as the students quickly began to ask their new teacher questions about their costumes and support items. He wondered if he should ask as well, but decided he would rather talk to an expert first, not that he didn’t respect Heavens man’s opinion, but he figured his hero style wasn’t really what he was looking for. Besides, he still had quite a bit of considering to do. He didn’t want to copy his dad or Uravity, and he knew that would be his impulse. So instead he decided to listen to the conversation and how the brainstorm went, then go to bed and consider by himself.

————————-

Heavens man

Ronu listened happily as the students barraged him with ideas and requests, now this was the type of enthusiasm he was interested in! As long as they listened to him and followed his instruction, he was sure he could make excellent heroes out of them.

“A bamboo sword, eh? Why stop there? See if you can get a steel reinforcement, or maybe a blunted Katana would do ya better.” Heavens man smirked at seiryo as he turned to the next students ideas.

“Lily? Overalls? Pockets? Headpiece and gloves?” He started counting each item on a finger as he listed them off. “Sounds doable. But think outside the box. We’re ‘plus ultra’ here. You’ve got a quirk that can really help people. Get creative.” He said as a cook glint if light seemed to dash across his tinted sunglasses.

“Hiroka was it? I bet Ren’ll just love ya. Ya got some bright ideas and a quirk that’s fierce enough to match em. Don’t focus on how it’s gonna look so much, like I told lily over there, get creative. How can ya maximize damage vs defense?”

With a point of a finger, Heavens man turned his attentions to jack. “Fundamentals are key kid. Never underestimate the power of a good punch! But Gauntlets are easy, strong punches are great. But what type of things do ya want yer punches to do? Ever thought about attachments? Claws, hooks, darts, ya know, support items!”

Heavens man gave the kid a thumbs up, trying to be positive and reassuring like David and gewher and told him. It was his job to cultivate their abilities, fear was good, but so was encouragement. They had resources, and these kids needed to know it. They only got one shot at their first costume and items submission, and the closer they got to their final product the better. All the more reason to keep them from just running over all the support department all willy nilly, especially while psyren was still so swamped. Better to keep her as calm as possible....

D39954A8-7E31-497A-81DA-3373877CE15D.jpeg

Before he could even reach the door, Heavens Man was already giving orders to be seated. Corvo paused, turning around slowly to face the half-naked hero. It’s like he loses a piece of clothing each time he appears... The UA teacher made the mistake of asking what each them wanted. Seiyro was up first, telling Heavens Man about how he would’ve liked a reinforced bamboo sword. His quirk doesn’t seem like its very good when it comes to actually fighting, so maybe this ‘sword’ is his way of making up for that. Whether Seiyro knew how to actually handle a sword or not was yet to be seen. I wouldn’t take any chances.

Another girl, who Corvo hadn’t seen before, was up next, walking in with Hikari by her side. Overalls with lots of pockets? He could safely assume now that no one request here was going to seem ordinary to him. Hiroka, the girl with the strange dog mask, quickly pulled out her book, showing Heavens Man exactly what she had in mind. She certainly knows what she wants, he thought, watching as the student continued to barrage him with ideas until it was finally over. Jack was the next person in line, asking for something a lot more practical than he would’ve imaged. He wants to boost the power of his punches? An idea popped into Corvo’s head. Maybe there was a way to reduce the amount of aura he used up after all...

There was another boy in the room who still hadn’t spoken. Desmond, the tall blonde, hadn’t said a word this entire time, even though he seemed pretty talkative in the beginning. Corvo looked over at each of his classmates, wondering what school would be like with these colorful personalities. UA is supposed to be the best of the best, so I can’t underestimate anybody here. They all made it in for a reason, which meant that he would have to stay on top of whatever it was that they did. For Boulder’s sake.

Christopher

(1A Dorms)

Chris grinned once the green robot appeared next to him, Looks like I'll live to fight another day!

However, once he turned back to the girl, he was even happier to see that she passed as well, overcoming even with less than heroic behavior weighing against her, Of course, the hero prevails.

Walking into the room for those who passed, Webs glanced around: There were more people than he was expecting, which made him feel a bit self-conscious about his slight limp. Trying to straighten his leg and ignore hide the pain, he listened to Heavens Man.

Although everything went in, Webs only half paid attention as his leg continued to scream in pain, I think I might have broken something.

Almost immediately after Heavens man finished, a robot popped up in front of him, with a hologram display that stated To the Infirmary.

It then spoke to him, "After an initial scan, it has been determined that you have sustained a bone fracture in your leg. Due to school policy and the need to keep you in prime condition: you are required to head to the infirmary. Allow me."

The robot expanded to include a wheelchair, obviously meant for Chris to sit down. Chris fidgeted a bit, embarrassed, but complied nonetheless, feeling a bit of relief as he did so, I guess I there wasn't any use hiding it...

Chris and the robot headed the opposite direction of the infirmary.

After the Infirmary
Spending about 20 minutes in the infirmary, Chris was intrigued by all of the machinery the nurse and her helper's had at their disposal, Looks more like an actual hospital than a school infirmary. As one of the aids used her quirk to help mend his bone, she advised him that he needed to avoid straining it in order for him to heal correctly, as her quirk only sped up the body's natural process, wrapping it in a cast, more so as a reminder than as-needed help to the healing process. Despite this, she assured him, he should be fine by tomorrow by the latest.

Fortunately for Chris' anxiety, she also assured him that he should be able to walk on it once she cleared him to leave. In the meantime, Chris began talking to the nurse aide about his medical history, as she stated they had to talk to all the at-risk students in the school just to make sure should anything happen, they were comfortable enough to actually go to them. At first, he felt a bit weird doing so but eventually found that the aide was very friendly and easy to talk to, even for him.

After about 10 more minutes, they finished up and Chris was on his way, the aide filling in Chris on the announcements he missed; mainly the notification about costumes. As he walked, Chris made a conscious reminder to keep himself moving slowly while also letting his head filled with ideas. He already had a book full of ideas for his costume and gadgets, but he didn't know which ones would help him the most. Maybe, I can talk with the support teacher and get her advice at some time.

Reaching the 1A dorm door, finally, Chris opened it was a bit shocked to find a mass of people sitting in the common room, including none other than the intimidating hulk of a hero, Heavens Man.

As eyes turned to him, Chris struggled to keep his composure as he spoke, "H-hello everyone! I'm Christopher William. I l-look forward to growing stronger with all of you."

As he stuttered, Chris instinctively became more embarrassed, unconsciously fiddling with a strand of his very long hair.

Even when he's in 'peak' physical condition, his emotions are all over the place.

Ryusei Hikari
"Ah! Right!" Hikari jumped in surprise, having forgotten the whole reason she'd brought Lilly to the commons in the first place.
"Wait here!" She excitedly commanded, briskly running into the kitchen, where a lonesome kettle of lukewarm tea sat on a stovetop, alone and abandoned.
Hmm...Stone cold, huh? Hikari sighed in disappointment to herself, placing a hand on the side of the tea kettle that had been left waiting for her on the stove.
Oh well...Guess I'll just heat it back up myself!
Soon enough, the distinct whistling of steam fills the air, followed shortly by Hikari, reemerging from the kitchen with a piping-hot kettle of semi-fresh tea.
...Held directly in the palms of her hands.
After placing the kettle down, a small, simple gesture summons a nearby M.A.I.D, who in turn, sets to work laying out plates, cups, and a delicious assortment of snacks for the students to enjoy.
After taking her time to listen to the conversation, and to savor the nearly perfect cup of sugary sweet tea that Lauren had prepared for her, Hikari abruptly interjects,
"Practicality is good and all, but if you ask me, you need your costume to really make an impact! When I become a hero, I want every villain I beat to remember who took them down whenever they even think about doing something evil!"
"Although..."
She thoughtfully adds, leaning back in her chair,
"Aside from that, I guess my second biggest concern would be not overheating too quickly from using my quirk...If I don't wear too much, that shouldn't be too much of an issue..."
A small pout forms on her face, one can nearly see the wheels in her mind churning.
"...But if I do that, then I won't have any room in my costume for all of the super cool tricks that I've thought up...Can't hide anything up your sleeves if you don't have sleeves, right?"
Contradictory thought builds on top of contradictory thought. The mental weight quickly becomes far too large for her brain to bear, falling apart into a childish tantrum.
"Ahhh!! Why does this have to be harder than I thought it would be!?" Hikari groans, throwing her head back in agonized frustration.
Turning towards the shirtless man for some much-needed guidance, she pleadingly asks, "Sensei! How'd you come up with your costume?"

Jack honestly hadn't actually thought too much about support items yet, having planned to come up with ideas whenever he met a challenge he couldn't handle and creating something to deal with it afterwards. But he realized that could make things harder for him. Just as he was about to explain a new kid came in and introduced himself while stuttering around the same time Hakira showed she was pretty fireproof by holding a boiling kettle. But what really distracted him was something she said about her Quirk and costume. "Aside from that, I guess my second biggest concern would be not overheating too quickly from using my quirk...If I don't wear too much, that shouldn't be too much of an issue..."

Jack spent a few seconds trying to get the thought of the brunette in very little clothing out of his head before responding to Heaven's Man "Something to make sure I don't get stuck against someone attacking me from a distance would be nice. My Quirk is hand to hand combat only. I did have the idea for some kinda attachable jackhammer bit to increase the force into a smaller point and to go with my planned hero name though." He wasn't too worried about revealing that weakness since no one here was his enemy and it was unlikely that it would take long form them to figure it out themselves regardless.

Heavens man

“Now ya gettin it! Quirks are great, some are bettern others. Mine gives me total control of a space, so costumes were never my thing. So I wear my suit. Show off my muscles, intimidate through carelessness, through confidence. Everything you do has an effect not only on foes, but civilians. Remember that.” Heavens man was feeling quite good, these kids had some good ideas, and they were quite excited about tomorrow as well.

“It’s getting late though.” Heavens man said as he checked his watch. 530pm. He still had a faculty meeting at 6 to go to, planning for tomorrow. “I haveta go, so you kids talk amongst yerselves, lights out is at 10. So ya got some time. Anyone I find up after then’ll be doing pull ups till dawn. Get it?” He words echoed through the room as he stood up, adjusted his shades and slipped on the rest of his white jacket, looking more formal now than he had when he’d first introduced himself.

And with that Heavens man left the dorm, leaving the excitable students to their own devices for the remainder of the evening.

Seiryo Teshigahara
Seiryo, after he had heard Heavens Man speak, took note of the heartfelt advice from someone with more experience than himself. Letting down his Guard for a second before bursting into a laughing fit, "Bwha. Bwo, HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!" After a few minutes, Seiryo calmed down a bit, "What the heck was I worried about!? This isn't a life or death fight, sorry everyone. I let my instincts get in the way of realizing that this is a school." Heavens Man spoke words that pierced Seiryo's heart. "I shouldn't let my worrying get in the way of having a fun school life. Though, don't touch me without me knowing it first, please. You might fall into a coma, otherwise. I mentioned I was part of the Teshigahara Family Name. Well, it's because i'm the only one left in my entire family who is not permanently unconscious. As far as I know, there is no cure. So just give me a heads up if you want to shake my hand or whatever. I'm sorry for freaking out about it earlier."

Seiryo also took notice of everyone's rather unique and exciting ideas. "Also, can anyone help me figure out when class is? That's why I asked for a schedule earlier. I like to plan ahead."

Lauren Forsythe
Lauren lay in her room for some time, she could never tell as, when bored, she would often instinctively activate her quirk without realising. Sitting up and glancing at her alarm clock she realised barely any time had passed since she had returned to her dorm. She sighed and leisurely walked over to her dresser and removed her pyjamas. Grabbing a bag of toiletries, she left her room and made her way to the girl’s bathroom.

Entering inside she found a small row of nice wooden pigeonholes leading towards a curtained off room. Lauren let out an audible groan, realising that this was, in fact, a communal bathing area. She took solace in the fact that she was the only one and quickly undressed, grabbing a towel and moving into the bathroom.

There was a small stall to the side with varying brushes and scrubs, and at the centre was a shallow pool, a light heat haze visible above it. Lauren inhaled deeply, she could smell varying herbs and such, likely placed in the bathwater to keep it somewhat fresh.

She moved to the stall and took her time to soak her and properly clean herself from the sweat and dirt she’d gathered during the exam. Finishing up she hesitantly walked over to the bath, quickly wrapping a plastic bag around her bandaged leg and sliding in. Seated her shoulders were just above the water.

Lauren let out a loud sigh of relief and leaned back, there must have been something in the water apart from the herbs providing the smell because she felt the aches and pains in her muscles wash away; probably some concentrated super magnesium. Lauren let herself slowly sink into the treated pool until just her nose was above the water. She smirked as the amount of her face not covered was the opposite of when she wore her mask.

Looking back to the book to a comment she slowly turns to one of the back pages, there was one particular tool that would be useful for her costume that she did not mention but it wasn't due to forgetting or something like the appearance. This is not to say it did not stand in stark contrast to the rest of the costume, Metalic tubes with large metal cables connecting from a backpack like an item to twin pointed needles or open claws, the weight of the device was more from its original origin than anything else that made her debate if she should ever include it. Her costume itself was almost entirely defense given her offense would often come from her own abilities or what was around her,

She thought over the teacher's words in silence to the point when she looked up once more she hadn't even noticed him leave, did he say something else? well I suppose it wasn't too important he would likely say it again if so. For now she simply needed to get back to work on the costume and decide just what she wanted it to be.

Lily

Lily was relieved when Hikari brought the tea in, it was a good distraction from all this new hero costume talk. She was still thinking about what heavens man had said about thinking outside the box, maybe there was something else she hadn’t thought of before? She was still thinking about it as she listened to Hikari struggle with what she wanted her costume to look like.

“Maybe the top could be a long sleeved crop top, so you can still pull things from up your sleeve but you won’t be too covered up!” The teacher started talking about their curfew before leaving the room to let the students talk and get to know each other. Lily looked around the room there were plenty of other students she just hadn’t gotten around to talking to anyone yet.

Unfortunately for Jack Heaven's Man left without really giving him the advice he was hoping for, so he hoped his fellow students could help instead. Luckily for him it seemed the new girl seemed at least interested in discussing uniforms so he decided to go for it. "So does anyone have any idea on how to deal with my range problem? I mean I can extend my arms up to a foot further but that is still close range."

Of course the range was only one thing thinking back to the exam and especially his fight against the other potential student made him realize he would need to up his defense, and make it so that leaving him winded wouldn't be that easy anymore. Since he was going with gauntlets already anyway he could try to go for a full set of knight armor. He quickly rejected the idea since it would be too restricting and he didn't really like the idea of wearing medieval armor.

Ryusei Hikari
"Ehhh...I dunno..." Hikari sighs, hesitantly. "That sounds kind of...dated, y'know? I'm trying to look like a badass, not a belly-dancer!"
With indigence, she adds "...And besides, sleeves can be a real pain to deal with when you're fighting!"
After taking a very deep, thoughtful sip of tea, she enthusiastically proposes, "What about armbands? Armbands are cool! And I wear them all the time during training!"
With a devilish Cheshire grin, she ominously chuckles, "...Plus I bet I could hide all kinds of nasty tricks inside of 'em!"

After taking a moment to indulge herself in imagining all of the hair-brained schemes she'd unleash upon villain and classmate alike, Hikari takes a brief moment to consider the blonde-haired boy's question, before obliviously asking, "Why don't you just get closer?"
An incredibly obvious solution, but evidently to her, perfect.
As if to punctuate her argument, she raises her fists in a mock fighting stance, rhythmically swaying her head from side to side, a confident grin on her face as she adds, "You just gotta be quick on your feet! Keep them on the defensive and then you'll corner 'em for sure!"

Taking a long moment to applaud herself for her self-proclaimed brilliance, and to scarf down some delicious snacks, she changes the topic of conversation, inquisitively asking,
"...What about you, Lily-chan? What are you thinking of doing for your costume?"
Gently taking hold of one of the purple, velveteen, flower petals that had sprung out from somewhere within Lily's hair, Hikari thoughtfully suggests,"Y'know...these plants growing out of you are kind of cool...Maybe you could do something with that?"
The moment the words left her mouth, the gears in her head started turning again, an excited grin creeping on her face as her mind started spinning up ideas.
"Yeah...Like you could go for some sort of 'Wrath of Nature' kind of angle! Cover yourself in something cool and intimidating like those Venus flytrap things! Or spiky chestnut shells!"
A small gleam of mischief returns to her eye, as she suddenly locks on to Lily, not even attempting to hide her anticipation for her reaction. Her voice suddenly going from peppery and red-hot with excitement, to soft, demure, and dripping with sickening honey-sweetness.
"...Or maybe you could wear roses?"
One of her eyes winks shut, as the other provocatively raises it's brow in rapid succession, as she teasingly adds,
"...And go for that sexy, 'femme fatale' look?"

Christopher

(Common Area)

Chris watched as people turned their heads to glance at him, but were quickly distracted by a brunette entering, with a high pitched whistle as her background music, holding a tea kettle. Chris was at first concerned, but realized if it was as hot as it looked, then her quirk must be in play as well. Shortly after she entered, Chris watched as MAID followed, carrying various treats and delights, the sight of which made Chris' stomach rumble, The aid did mention it only speeded up the body's healing process...

As the girl sat down, Chris decided to sit down as well, positioning himself across from Heaven's Man, in reach of all of the food. His mouth watered as he looked around at everything. Although his tiny frame didn't show it, Chris loved eating. Not wanting to embarrass himself, or scare others, he decided to take it slow. He grabbed a small plate of cookies and began munching those first as he listened.

Listening to everyone talk about their ideas filled Chris with a sense of warmth. It was refreshing to just sit around bouncing ideas off one another, even though Chris technically hadn't contributed anything. As Heaven man's finished speaking, Chris almost dropped a plate now full of cupcakes as a brown-haired boy started laughing. As the boy spoke, Chris started to smile a bit, it seems I missed something, but at least he looks like a good guy.

"Also, can anyone help me figure out when class is? That's why I asked for a schedule earlier. I like to plan ahead."

Chris hesistated as he looked around before speaking up, "O-one of the nurses told me that our dorm rooms should include laptops g-gifted by the school and that th-they should include first day logistics, including the schedules."

Chris then sank back down, continuing eating the cupcakes he grabbed absentmindedly while talking, listening to the interaction between tea girl, flower girl, and another blonde-haired boy, "Why don't you just get closer?"

Although it seems a little basic, Chris nodded in agreement, "She has a point. Maybe you could get something that would b-boost your movement speed. That way you wouldn't have to worry about taking away from the offensive capabilities of your qu-quirk itself..."

Seiryo Teshigahara
As Seiryo pondered Jack's question, as well as some of the other student's replies, he spoke to Jack, "Have you tried martial arts? There are various ways to get closer to your opponent, Including methods of stepping that can easily close the distance. What you need, in my opinion, is a way of getting just close enough to your opponent to get them in range of your fists." Seiryo thought for a moment before speaking, "I have my own technique that could solve the problem for you. The only problem is you'd have to get the timing down just right in order to make it work with your quirk. The technique itself is called 'Dragon's Gauntlet.' But it's up to you if you want to just get a support item instead."

"Also, thanks for the info," Seiryo spoke to Chris, "I'll check my dorm room later."
