He nodded a little and sighed some rubbing his face as he got out and followed Tom into the building.

Carmen took her up to her office and sat down starting to go through the couple things she needed to get done that morning. “Do you want children?” She asked her bluntly

Lilith looked at her and gave a very small nod "Yes....but I don't think Aleister is much interested in having them with me." She says truthfully to her

Tom got through quickly and went to hid position while Ben did his job. As the alarms went off he rushed out to his car and quickly sped off to the meet up point like they had planned

She frowned and shook her head. “Probably not. L... he’s already had a kid of his own... and a wife.... I wouldn’t try living up to any of it.” She muttered shaking her head some.

Aleister made it out and and to his car, getting to the meet up point as well, getting out the car in time to see that Toms phone was ringin. “Jake can wait!” He snapped at him, he still wasn’t happy about being put on this job and it was showing.

Lilith gave a nod and soft sigh "Yeah..." she whispered looking around some "Do you have any kids?" She asked as she sat down at her desk

Tom frowned more and pressed reject "Where the fuck is Ben?" He asked seeing the time and that he shouldve been there already

She frowned some staring at her for a moment. “Two. A boy and a girl.” She told her not giving any more information to her right now. She didn’t trust her at all right now.

Aleister shrugged and leaned back, lighting a cigarette. He’d become colder in the past few months and one or two men not making it back didn’t bother him in the slightest.

Tom shook his head frowning more trying to call Ben letting out a sigh of relief when he answered saying he was alright "Thank god." He muttered talking to him for a bit longer before he got in his car "Alright come on." He said to Aleister

Lilith nodded giving a small smile "Thats nice." She said glancing at her paperwork "What kind of work do you do here?" She asked

Aleister nodded and got in his car again sitting back and shaking his head. “We going to see tony?” He asked him, frowning when he looked down at his phone and saw his girls on the background. “I need to get some stuff from mom that was Jades.” He muttered.

She shook her head and started laughing. “The girl at reception.... literally all I do most of the time is help her with her job. Take some of the load off.” She snorted. “But I don’t get paid the same.” She muttered, frowning when her phone went off and she saw it was their eldest. “Hey sweetheart, everything okay?” She asked him. Jake was 13 and Lyla was 9 but to keep them safe they were both at boarding school a state over and she couldn’t wait to have them home.

Tom gave a nod and sighed some "Yeah we can go, Tony would want an update anyways." He said seeing his background from the corner of his eye "I'm sorry he made you do this.."

Lilith nodded some and glanced around staying silent while she spoke with her kids. She looked down as he phone started ringing and gulped seeing her father's name pop up. She quickly rejected it not wanting to speak with him right now

Carmen sighed heavily. “I’ll talk to him Alright? I’m gonna come pick you guys up okay? Alright sweetheart I’ll see you later.” She assured him and hung up, not saying anything for a minute then looked over at Lilith. “Right. Ready to go?” She asked her. She was keeping her at arms length but she seemed fairly nice at least.

Tom shrugged. “If it was the complete end of the world I would leave.... but I think I’ll manage. I’ve already told her it’s gonna he just for appearances.” He muttered.

Tom gave a small nod "Well hopefully you guys can atleast get a long somewhat." He said as he drove. He wanted his brother to be happy

Lilith nodded and stood up taking a deep breath "Could you....could you teach me the ropes?" She asked as they walked. She knew that since she was away from her family she needed to be stronger

Carmen glanced over at her and frowned a bit. “What the hell do you think I’m doing with you this week? Well... today and tomorrow anyway.” She muttered, getting back into her jag

Aleister hung out with him the rest of the day until finally heading back to his new place at the same time Carmen was dropping off Lilith with her shopping bags shaking his head when he heard her tell Tom she’d race him home just waving bye to them both then helped Lilith with her bags. “How’s today go?” He asked her.

Lilith came home.later glancing at Aleister as he helped her inside "She seems nice, she doesn't seem to hate me." She said softly as she watched him "How um...how was your day?" She asked

Tom got home in record time smiling wide as he looked at Carmen who had actually beat him there "Hello gorgeous." He said pulling her into him and kissong her lovingly

She giggled and slipped her arms around him tightly. “Mmm... your son is very upset with you. You promised to call him back and never did, I’m picking them both up tomorrow evening.” She told him quietly and swayed with him as they walked up to the front door.

He shrugged a bit and looked over at her. “That’s a good start at least... my day was fine. I’ll take your bags up soon but for now make yourself at home down here.” He told her.

Lilith nodded softly and frowned seeing her father calling again. She answered it this time taking a deep breath "Hello papa....no...no they were showing me around...I wasn't avliding you." She said in her native tongue

Tom sighed heavily and gave a nod "He called in the middle of our run....shit I almost thought we lost Ben...and Aleister he didn't even care." He said as they swayed making their way into the house

Aleister frowned listening to her conversation, shaking his head a bit while he went to his study and sat down, getting some work done on the computer.

Carmen nodded and smiled at him. “Mmm... I love you.” She murmured tiredly to him. “You wanna run a bath? Open up a bottle of wine?” She murmured just holding him tightly.

Lilith quickly got through the conversation before hanging up the phone. She got her suitcase and started to wander around finding a spare room biting her lip feeling this would be a good place. She got out her ballet shoes and pressed play on her phone starting to dance and get lost in her own world.

Tom nodded some "Sounds good, you get the glasses and wine?" He asked kissing her cheek before he made his way up to their bathroom to run them a bath in their giant tub making sure the jets were going as well.

Carmen nodded going to get everything then made it up to him and got in the bath, sitting back against him, rest her head against his shoulder. “I love you.... I can’t wait to have our babies home though.” She murmured gently. “I think we should take them on holiday. Before you take over next month. Let’s go on one family holiday together.” She suggested and held onto him.

Aleister stayed away from her all evening until dinner and went to find her, sighing heavily seeing she was in the lounge staring at the wall. “Food will be ready in half an hour.” He muttered.

Tom wrapped his arms around her and gave a nod kissing the side of her head "Mmm that soundd good, where to?" He asked while he ran his hands up and down her body

Lilith jumped lightly at his voice and gave a small nod "Okay....thank you." She said quietly as she looked over at him "Where um...where will I be sleeping?" She asked softly

He nodded some, "Follow me." He muttered, taking her up the stairs and down the first hallway, opening a door onto a large bedroom with a bathroom attached and nodded again, "This is yours... I'm four doors down the hall." He told her quietly then left her to settle in for now.

Carmen smiled some, "I was thinking maybe Italy, take them to Rome... Or we could do Paris again.... Lyla loved it there." She suggested, moving his hands back up to just her hips, reaching over to take a sip of her wine. "I can't wait to have them home... Is there really no way we could have them closer to us?" She muttered. It was an argument they'd had for years now.

Lilith followed him and went wide eyed at the size of it "Thank you." She said softly as she looked around with a big smile on her face. She couldnt believe something like this was hers now.

Tom rubbed her hips gently and gave a nod "Mmm I like the sound of Rome." He murmured but frowned at her questions "You know its too dangerous to have them here again....we can't risk their lives." He said quietly

She frowned again and sighed a bit. “But we could live closer. Hell its two hours away. And I wanna see my babies on the weekends. Last I checked we didn’t have kids just to ship them off.” She muttered and got up and out of the tub. “You know it’s been really nice having you around the past couple weeks and I know it’s cause your dad has said spend time with family before you take over but when you do where does that leave me?! My kids far away and you never home!” She snapped at him, grabbing a towel and leaving the room.

Aleister nodded and headed downstairs to wait until dinner was ready, just going through photos and videos on his phone, smiling sadly at the video of Leana on Christmas morning last year when she’d seen all the presents. It wasn’t long before he felt the tears rolling down his face and he hadn’t noticed her come in the room.

Tom sighed heavily and frowned more shaking his head "Carmen you know they can't live here nor can we live close to them! You want what happened to Leana to happen to them?! Or what about Jon's son huh?!" He asked knowing that he was making some kind of sense

Lilith walked down a little later and gave a soft frown seeing that he was crying. She cleared her throat and looked away when he quickly.put his phone up and wiped his tears. She sat down across from.him and bit her lip she didn't know what to say, if anything at all.

“Don’t you dare! Don’t you dare use that against me! Why can’t we st least get a house near them and I can go stay there!” She snapped at him shaking her head. “Every time youve got new excuses.” She muttered before storming off and slamming the door behind her.

Aleister put his phone away and ate quietly, excusing himself at the end of dinner and heading up to bed for the night

Tom sighed heavily and shook his head some. He wanted their kids there just as much as she did, but he was scared of what could happen to them if they lived here and inside the family

Lilith ate quietly and soon took their plates to clean. Afterwards she made it to her room and layed down sighing softly and soon fell into a dreamless sleep

Carmen has gone to sleep in one of the guest rooms, frowning when she still woke up to him laying next to her and shrugged his arm off her, going to get dressed and meet a couple friends for coffee.

Aleister got in for the family meeting in the morning frowning seeing Tom was looking disgruntled. “Argument?” He chuckled a bit.
