Lilith had no idea what her family had done to his. She had no clue that it was the last straw with the italians and this was the truce for it. Had she known she would've understood so much better why he was upset. She had loved once, and she had seen her father take that love away when he wasn't deemed worthy enough.

Tom nodded some and downed his glass of wine shaking his head again "Lets just get through this." He muttered. As the night progressed Tom ended up having to stay later than expected due to his father's comands. As they finally started to leave he pulled Carmen close peppering kisses along her neck gently "I'm sorry we had to stay so late."

She stood up and smiled a bit. “Duty calls baby I know that.” She murmured walking back to the car with him and let him drive them home, taking him inside and dragging him up to run a bath with him, stripping off and getting in, relaxing back against him. “I love you.... what did your dad need?” She asked him quietly.

Aleister went back to the hotel room they would be sharing tonight and sighed heavily once they were alone. “I’m not sleeping on the floor but I won’t make you either. We can share the bed but I don’t expect anything from you.” He told her quietly. “I’ll leave you to get changed.” He said gently and went to the bathroom in the suite to take a quick shower so he was ready for bed.

Lilith changed and layed in bed in only her lingerie that her father had forced her to wear letting a few tears fall as he walked out of the restroom "It is my duty as your wife to show you a good night." She said quietly before wiping her eyes quickly. She knew what he father would do to her if this didnt happen and it terrified her.

Tom frowned some and shook his head a bit "Some bullshit over a run thats happening. Also to not trust anything that girl says because he thinks Sarafyan is working some kind of angle. His paranioa is getting worse." He muttered

She frowned but nodded and watched him some. “Alright.... I got work tomorrow so I’m gonna be at the office all day but maybe we could go out for dinner? Just the two of us?” She murmured watching him while she held his hands.

Aleister frowned looking over at her. “Is that all you have with you for sleeping in? Jesus. Your lot is worse than I thought.” He muttered shaking his head and went to get her some different clothes, chucking them at her. “I’m not sleeping with you.” He muttered.

Lilith frowned some and went over to him pressing her body to his but gasped as he pushed her roughly to thr floor "Please.....he'll kill me." She whispered as she stared up at him feeling tears well up in her eyes

Tom smiled happily and gave a nod "Mmm I like that idea." He murmured kissing her hand gently "Hopefully my run doesn't take me too long." He murmured

“Your run? Ugh! I thought that was a lower rank job?!” She snapped a bit getting frustrated with the lack of organisation lately.

He glared at her. “Not my problem. I’m not gonna sleep with you. If you’re gonna behave like that you shoulda done your research.” He spat at her.

Lilith frowned and gpt up quickly changing in the bathroom before going to the small couch in the room and laying down. She wanted to be away from him right now while she processed how she could get out of her check up next week.

Tom sighed heavily and nodded "Yeah I know, but Tony wants Ben to have a backup." He muttered kissinh her hand gently "I love you babe its gonna be alright."

She muttered under her breath some and shook her head. “Then take Aleister. Get him away from his new wife.”
She muttered shaking her head some and groaning when her phone went off seeing his dads name come up, answering it. “Hey Tony, everything okay?” She asked him sighing a bit. She’d gotten used to the late night calls whether she likes them or not.

Aleister shook his head and went to lay down, pulling out his wallet photos and staring at them longingly “I need you back here sweetheart. Both of you.” He murmured quietly.

Lilith took a deep breath and closed her eyes curling up to herself trying to fall asleep hearing Aleister mutter to himself something she couldnt understand.

Tom frowned more and sighed heavily as she hung up the phone "What did he want?" He asked as he pulled into the driveway at their house. He was tired right now and all he wanted some alone time in bed with her

She looked over st him and sighed heavily. “He’s getting the Armenian girl to be with me at work tomorrow.” She muttered shaking her head in frustration.

Aleister eventually fell asleep holding onto the photo tightly.

Tom sighed heavily giving a small nod "Play nice alright, she hasn't done anything wrong. She was forced into this too." He muttered taking her inside

Lilith woke up the next morning and went to the bathroom gasping as she walked in seeing Aleister stepping out of the shower "I'm sorry!" She said rushing out quickly

Carmen shook her head some and sighed a bit. “It’s not my problem either.” She muttered taking him up to bed and going to sleep quickly.

He frowned and shook his head some before walking out fully dressed. “My guys will come clean up here later. You’re going to be with one of our women today.... I’m working. She’ll take you over to the house this afternoon.”

Tom woke up in the morning and yawned getting ready for his run giving Carmen a kiss on the cheek as she slept. He sighed heavily thinking over what to do with this run and glanced back st her. The truth about it was this run was not a lower level job. They were on a high level hit that had to be done with secrecy.

Lilith nodded some and got ready in the clothes she had packed "Alright.." she whispered keeping her eyed away from him

He frowned some. “You brought one suitcase? Is this everything you own or were you wanting to go get more things later?” He asked her.

Carmen woke up not long after him and just in time to hop in the shower

Lilith bit her lip and looked at the small suite case then looked back at him "Its everything I have to my name.." she said softly giving a heavy "My father didn't see the point in giving me the 'finer' things this life brings."

Tom glanced over at her as she came out and groaned some "You're making it hard for me to leave." He said with a smirk as he pulled her close to him

She smiled a bit and kissed his cheek. “Well come home safe then.” She murmured and stepped away to get dried off and dressed.

He sighed heavily and shook his head some. “I’ll get carmen to take you shopping tomorrow.... that shit might fly in your family but on this side absolutely not.” He muttered.

Lilith gave a small nod "Its alright....you...you really don't have to do that." She said before pulling on a baggy older shirt thankful that for once she wasn't bruised up from one of her father's out bursts.

Tom chuckled and gave a nod "Alright I can do that." He said kissing her cheek gently "I'll see you tonight, and remember to play nice!"

Carmen frowned but nodded and agreed, “fine. But only a little.” She muttered shaking her head some. “I love you... I’ll see you later okay?” She murmured to him.

Aleister shook his head. “You might not be happy here or me but you are still my wife on paper and I will make sure you are looked after. She knows how to set things up so I’ll let her know and she can take you Alright?” He said to her before going to get dressed and leave.

Lilith gave a nod "Alright." She said softly not going to fight it. She sat outside once he left and waited for the woman to come get her. When she saw it was Carmen she waved some and got in the back seat not knowing if she would want her up front.

Tom met up with Ben and Aleister sighing some "Quick and simple, got it? No witnesses." He muttered before making sure he had a silencer on his gun just in case the poison didn't work

She raised an eyebrow and shook her head. “Hey, I’m not a chauffeur, get in the front.” She muttered waiting for her then shook her head. “Jeez you’re worse than the kids.” She muttered shaking her head some. “Aleister just sent me the message about shopping, I got some work to do in the office first but then we’ll head out.” She told her, starting to drive.

“Why has he put three of us on one hit?” He grumbled as they got into the SUV, sitting up in the front passenger seat.

Lilith frowned getting in the front seat quickly and gave a small nod "Is it true what they say about him?" She asked about ten minutes into their awkward silence that had soon fallen over them once Carmen had started driving. She knew of the stories that went to the name Aleister Black, how he was foind by Tony at a mere age of 7 nearly beating a boy to death, or how he was the actual son of the devil that Tony had prayed for and received on his door step, a boogeyman that you'd never walk away from..

Tom frowned more "More eyes for lookout, killing a government official isn't really a one man job." He muttered shaking his head some."Now remember your fucking exits and get away cars understood?"

Carmen glanced over at her and snorted a bit. “If you’re on his agenda for the day sure.... and yes he can be hard and cold.... but what do you expect from a hitman?” She pointed out. “Those stories only started because of the job.... not because of him.” She muttered shaking her head some. She always felt a bit protective over him and even more so with everything he’d gone through.

He rolled his eyes some. “Yes mom.” He muttered and leaned back. “When do the kids get home from school?” He asked Tom.

Lilith nodded some giving a soft smile "Alright then." She whispered looking out of the window as Carmen drove "How long have you been with his brother?" She asked wanting to try and maybe make some kind of friend there.

Tom rolled his eyes but chuckled some "Next week. Carmen is wanting a welcome back party for them so you both better be there before I get my ass handed to me by her." He said giving a small chuckle

She sighed a little as she pulled into the office parking lot, “Long time.” She muttered, parking and got out to go in. She worked for the above board part of the mafia so he pay checks always came from a legitimate source just in case. “This is where you will likely end up working. If you don’t wanna be bored out of your mind at least.” She muttered

Tom nodded and sighed some. “Course... hopefully my new wife won’t demand to go but we will see.... her family hasn’t prepared her for nothing.” He muttered and shook his head.

Lilith nodded softly and gave a heavy sigh "Right, sounds good." She said getting out of the car and following her inside the building quietly

Tom shrugged some "Heard rumors that she was stupid, Sarafyan kept her quiet cause of it." He said before getting out of the car "Lets get this done."
