Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

She giggled in a giddy fashion, prepping Pow-Pow and revving it up, preparing to stand her ground with her three deadly friends.

Ellis looked from his sister to the blue haired girl, his dark green eyes undecided.


"Come with me!" he shouted, pulling the girl down the stairs, and to the side of the building.

"Alright!" he shouted, turning around, before following Issac. He stood behind Issac, blasting all of the Shadows that attempted to take him by surprise. One charged forward, before it's head was blasted clean off it's shoulders by a bolt. He turned, taking aim at another target, as it too, met the same fate. "Is the civilian infected?!" Octavian shouted, before he blasted another infected open.

"Doesn't look like it!" Isaac shouted back.


The engineer waited for a well-lined shot before squeezing the trigger on his plasma cutter. The instantaneous burst of energy bisected anything it touched in a straight line --thankfully Isaac had the presence of mind to fire away from the civilians. Another charging creature had its scull caved in by a wide swing from Isaac --the heavy, angular plasma cutter's solid construction served well as a bludgeon.

Minako was about ready to panic, but kept her cool. She knew how to handle fights like this. Especially since she used to work alone before she met the rest of her team. "We need to get out of here! There must be somewhere nearby where we can get everyone to safety!"





Stella looked around with stress on her face. She hadn't ever been attacked by any of the shadows when she was with her tribe, this was new to her. She had to get help from a source of light. Away from the camp would be preferable for her. "Oh dear...we should get out of here~"

Edward raised a pillar below him on the center of the roof. He erected cannons all around and began firing at the shadows blowing away four per shot. He was only getting the ones outside the building though. He would keep up the bombardment until told otherwise.

A Shadow dashed at the two, but Ellis manged to have a thick metal wall to slide out from the building, blocking the Shadow and causing it to break its neck. He waved his hand to the left, reshaping the metal wall. He could see the door to Annie Office, it was at the other end of the wall, and aside of the cornor. Lifting his hands up, he began his walk to the room, prepared for an incoming attack.

The Shadows poured in, too many to count! With a swift push to the right, Ruckus attempted to fling Ryu like a ragdoll, "Ha ha I'm uncultured! Get yo' black, rappin' ass outta here! No coloreds allowed!" It wasn't long until Uncle Ruckus threw his shotgun behind him, trying to lessen his fat-ass weight as he ran like a BEEEEEECH! "Save tha' white folk and the chillen', leave dis I'm uncultured behind! He volunteered, I swear!"

(Option 1. I apologize for !ynpoat that was out of place here is the redo.) The explosion had Adain In a daze and it wasn't until fighting broke out below that he realized what was going on. He quickly got his gun and slid one in chamber. He fired at an infected away from the survivors it turing to jelly, he took little time moving his sights beond the fence. "Holy fuckin shit!" He fired another round into the oncoming infected, this time explosive round breaking up the group leaving blood and bits everywhere. He reloaded a third round.

Ryu yelled out at Ruckus before turning his attention towards the shadows. Wait where did that girl go? He thought to himself. He growled as he began throwing balls of flames at the Shadows, watching them incinerate. "I don't have time for this! GO AWAY!" he yelled his temper still high as he kept throwing balls of fire. He saw a boy atop a roof summoning cannons at his will, which threw him off a bit but he kept fighting.

Annie was shocked, The Shadow's have finished there slaughter of the out side survivors, and turned there attention to the rooftop survivors. They began to rush inside, climbing the floors to reach the top. It was at least hundred inside, and another 3 hundred still stood outside, Edward fired cannons killing the infected, but only more replaced the dead ones, Shadow's pulled and pushed on the gates and fences, trying to knock down the blockade that kept them from the survivors.

"Damn it they just keep coming!" Edward remarked. "Everyone get on the roof I'm gonna seal the paths to other floors and then we'll purge the floors one by one, you have five minutes." Edward was making a tough decision in doing so but he's not a child anymore he can do this.

"Its time." Mumbled Annie. Annie put her hands into a ball shape, and a small fireball shot into the sky, it exploded into a dark red phoenix shape. Looking to the remaining survivors on the rooftop she shouted and pointed to the doorway of the stairs,


"Block that door!" Annie shouted, her childish tone was gone, and far deadly then any grown women's. She knew survivors still lied on the ground, or inside, but she couldn't risk the lives of everyone for those of the few. If they get another way up, she would gladly protect them.

Blake sheathed one of her blood-soaked blades and attached herself to the side of the building, digging her sword into the concrete wall. She used her free hand to summon a tight focus of magical air, and then, just as when she could barely contain the gusts, she screamed, throwing the concentrated air at the outside hordes of Shadows, summoning a vicious whirlwind that tore apart the Shadows into useless shreds.


She used her free hand to summon gusts to push herself to the rooftop and landed in front of Uncle Ruckus, who was trying to run away. She grabbed him by his collar and brought him close to her body, staring him dead in the eyes. "STAY, CITIZEN!" she barked. "RUNNING WILL GET YOU KILLED!"

Adain began fireing the five incendiary rounds he had into the crowd of the infected one after another falling and catching fire. He set his rifle down and drew his sword and made sure his pistol was ready. He was going to hold his ground, but he needed some support.

She laughed crazily as she heard the beast's neck snap, still following close beside him. She looked into the room with a quizzical frown.

Isaac, having been at the door with the Space Marine, clenched his jaw. They'd been helping civilians get in, but there appeared to be no end to the oncoming horde. If they didn't seal the door, the infected would come pouring in.


"Help me get this closed!" Isaac called to the marine, stepping back and trying to force the door to the stairwell closed. "We need something to block this off"

Ryu heard the boy on the roof speak and sighed. Well I guess this is what I get for going against my instincts. To the roof it is then. He thought as he ran towards the building burning any shadows in his bath. He noticed the girl next to him and blinked at her power. Holy... his thoughts were cut short as a Shadow tackled him to the ground. He struggled with it for a minute, swinging at its sides. "Get off of me you son of a-" again cut short by the scream of the Shadow. He growled as flames shot from his body, piercing the Shadow in many areas. "Now, burn!" he shouted as the Shadow seemingly imploded, or rather just combusted. He got to his feet and began to move towards the building again.

"Uwahh! What do I do?! What do I do?!" JoJo panicked, running in circles. A Shadow would pop up, surprising him and attempting to bite into him. Given his fast reflexes, he instantly stepped back, before charging Hamon into his arms and hitting the opponent with his elbow, the Hamon crashing in with enough force to explode the Shadow!


"Tch! You guys aren't so tough! Can't handle my Rebuff Overdrive!" He laughed confidently. But of course, even more Shadows came to take the place of the fallen one, and they admittedly intimidated him a bit.


"It seems like I'll have to use my secret technique! The Joestar secret technique passed down from my grandfather, Jonathan Joestar!" JoJo exclaimed, preparing his technique. He'd need his legs to be in good condition for this. And then, he executed his ultimate secret technique! "If it had to come to this, then..."

He began to run away! "BACK TO THE ROOF FOR ME!" JoJo cried out mostly to himself. Of course, little did most people know that his secret technique was just running away for now.

Y'all need to get ta safety to tha' Island place... thing... - and I'm sure as hell da' Queen needs mah help!"

"Can you help me look?" Asked Ellis, his gaze still searching the messy room.
