Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

Annie looked to the teen,

"You are going to die if you don't stop acting like such a child." Replied Annie bitterly, she was still scanning the ground around the rooftop, looking for an shadow's creepy up the building.

"Hey, wakey-wakey lazy bones!"
*snorts* Huh? Was dat? *he yawns as the explosion happens. He quickly grabs the blue haired girl and runs upstairs following Annie's orders* I vote for option one! I need a good fight! *he sets Jinx down and hits his fist into is other palm making them ignite* Im all fired up!

A women Shadow it was quicker then Lia thought, and it grabbed the girl's arms, holding them at the wrist, it smiled with a devilish grin, and made an attempt to bite the girls neck.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but a Space Marine stands his ground!" He turned, firing his Bolter at the shadows, mowing down several. "FOR THE EMPEROR!" he shouted, as one leapt at him, and he swung his armored elbow forward, caving in it's skull. It's dead corpse flopped backwards, and he aimed his bolter again, shooting down some more Shadows. (Option one)

Regina panicked, struggling against the crazy person's grip. She elbowed it, and tried to shove the woman away from her. When the woman persisted, Regina tripped her.

It was something she had plenty of experience in.

The woman lay on the ground, and Regina was ready to sprint away from the psycho before a gun went off.

And the woman's blood splattered all over Regina.

Ryu looked around wondering what was going on himself, not sure what to do. "Maybe....Maybe we could all just run? Or fight....BUT WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!" he shouted, more or less to himself. He looked over at the pink-dressed girl and tilted his head. Man she seems angry... Might not want to get that anger centered towards me.... He sighed as he watch everyone in a panic, trying to keep his own self calm.

She yelped as she was picked up by her braids, rubbing the back of her head after she was let back down.

"What? Options? What's goin' on?"

Blake pushed herself away from the edge of the roof at the sound of a large explosion ringing behind her. She peered over the edge, only to be greeted by a dark mass with many red orbs staring back at the survivors atop. Some of the hideous creatures were darting up the face of the building already...

"Option one is the only one that makes sense! Traveling by night is suicide!" she commanded as she reached into her coat, bringing out two orange-metal blades, one in each hand. She fell backwards off the roof of the building and levitated close to the walls of the building, hacking and slashing apart the limbs of Shadows that were trying to scale the sides of the building.

"Well well...." calmly spoke a group of 15 men, they all wore bloody clothing, and held seven different types of melee weapons. They approached the back end of the camp, tress blocked the view from the gate, and the men smiled. Only two guards stood watch, and one of the men ran out in view, and shot fireballs into the chest's of the guards, killing them as soon as they seen him. They fell backwards, off the metal platform and into the grass, fracturing their skulls if they weren't already dead. The man smiled, and made his way to the fence, gentle placing a small sliver box in the middle, he pressed a small button on top, and a low ringing ding! could be heard. The man had a smile that looked to of the devil's and he returned to the group of men he left back in the tress.

"Did you do it?" eagerly asked one, his small exposing broken teeth, and black gums.

"Yeah, the bomb will exposed in 30 minutes, it will be dark by then, and the shadows will come running." Answered the bomb planter, and with his words, they left, returning to wherever they came from. The sun was setting, and night would surely come soon, and not even this camp was ready for it.

Annie frowned, and started the tragic story.

"It started two years ago," sated Annie, her gaze falling to the floor.

"Me and Ellis were 12 when this started, at first it was just weird attacks, and people getting hurt, then, then, it turned to raids and orders from the government, stay inside your homes they said, only, that didn't work. They fell in a matter of days, and shortly after clans and enclaves of survivors formed, creating safe heavens, only, even they weren't prepared for the meaning of survival. Friends betrayed one another, riots inside camps rose, sickness swept across from one survivor to another, it was chaos." Annie stopped for a monument, her eyes were filling with tears, and her stomach felt as if there was 18 knots tied in it.

"It took me a year to find my twin brother Ellis, our parents split up when we were baby's and moved across the entire world to be apart, so we were lucky to find one another, and when we reconnected, we survived another year. After realization of my brother's....condition, we formed a heaven for survivors. That was merely four mouths ago, and now, all of you are here, and we can make this a safer-"

BOOM!

A loud explosion shot through the silent dark blue air, "Oh my gods," Annie spun around, looking to the back of the grocery store, and seeing the small poof of smoke, it was near the middle of the chain-link fence, and when it cleared, a large hole sat in it. Annie darted towards the edge of the store's rooftop, looking from above at the hole. Two guards lied dead at the far right end of the fence, and laying on there back, large 3rd degree burnt tissue on there chest. It was two late, hundreds of Shadow's stood around the gate, half of them staring up at Annie with uneasy red eyes. Little light was given outside the building, Annie could barley see the amount of Shadow's pouring in, 'frothy? seven?....' mentally counted Annie, her eyes darting between the barely viable Shadow's. Turning Annie ran to the other side of the store's rooftop, Viewing the front of the store she could see survivors were still outside, picking up her megaphone Annie clicked the button, and shouted into it.

"Everyone!!!! To the rooftop! We have infected inside the camp! I repeat infected are inside the camp! You must make it to the rooftop!" and that's when the first survivor died, Sarah turned to see a small female child, she was wearing a nightgown, and smiling wider then gluttony with food. The Shadow jumped, faster then Sarah could of seen, and it dug its teeth into her neck, ripping flesh from her as she screamed in agony. The Shadow's swallowed the meat with not a signal bite, and took another chuck from Sarah's cheek, and that's when Annie moved back, speaking into the megaphone.

Option 1, "We defend against the infected until dawn! If we mange no causalities, which is a low possibility, they will not return till the treat of us is reduced."

Option 2, "We try to fight our way from the camp! and we travel far to the coastal city, and travel across Poseidon's sea to Engline. This is also a low possibility of no causalities"

Option 3, "We can signal help to a nearby survivor camp! I do not know these people, or even if they will answer our call, but its a shot."

Isaac twitched, flashbacks of The Sprawl assaulted him relentlessly --his PTSD writhing. Necromorphs pouring into the populated zones and ripping people out of beds and through windows. They devoured them in the street, changed them in the halls. The engineer shook his head free of the flashes. No. These were not necromorphs they were humanoid --he could deal with humanoids. Plasma cutters had an easy enough time ripping waves of necromorphs down --soft, fleshy humans would be easy targets.

He was also armored, teeth and fingernails would not burrow into metal and synthetic enviroweave. That lead to one invariable conclusion --Isaac would be stepping up to the frontlines here. Some of the other survivors were having trouble getting away from the brutality of the creatures storming the gap. A quick look around showed another capable looking combatant, so Isaac called to him.

"You! Big guy in all that armor! Not everyone is making it up here. Help me get them!"

Without waiting for an answer, Isaac made for those in threat of being consumed by the Shadowy horde. Drawing back his weighty plasma cutter, the engineer made to knock the infected free of the downed civilian and stomp it into a fine mess. Too many died on the Ishimura, On The Sprawl... on Earth. No more. Not when he could prevent it.

"Danger is inside the camp." Replied Ellis as he raised his hand, and the building began to grow upwards.

"I am creating another floor to put between us and the shadows, but it will not stop them from getting to us." called out Ellis, he was creating a whole floor of metal, to hopefully give the survivors more time.

"Ah, I say we get the hell outta here! Make for the coastal city, wherever the hell that is!" JoJo piped up, "I ain't gonna try to fight these things to the morning! You people are crazy! Even crazier than Caesar, I say!"

(Oh and I realize that my vote wasn't persay clear, so I mean that by fighting, I vote for Option 2 lol sorry about that.)

Edward woke up at the sound of an explosion. Then heard the situation and the options. "I saw Option 1 I can seal the hole." Edward leapt out the window landing on his automail limbs. He clapped his hands and transmuted some material from the ground to plug the hole. He then transmuted the earth to create a pillar below him to take him up to the roof. He jumped off and said "We should fight, traveling in the dark is way to dangerous. Here we can create stationary lights and fight."

Ryu sighed as he stood there. "Hey you girl? What are you doing here anyway? You seem as lost as I am." he said as he looked at her with green eyes, still trying to keep track of the Shadows. He was not planning on dying here today, no way that would happen....right? RIGHT?!

The Doctor turned from Doc, hearing the story Anne told. He narrowed his eyes and gave her a soft expression, his hearts going out to her. "Oh Annie Willow, I'm sorry, I'm so sorr--" His words were cut off by a deafening boom in the distance! The time lord's eyes darted to the source of the explosion, seeing the shadows for the first time. "So those are the shadows. Poor, miserable things. I'd love to see one of those things up close," he mumbled.

The Doctor rushed to the stairs, ignoring Annie's words of advice to stay on the roof. He was The Doctor. He always helped others when he could, never staying put. "We signal for help!" the man exclaimed, taking out his screwdriver. "They may be another group, but our enemies are their enemies and we can use all the help we can get!" ((Option 3.))

He rushed down the stairs, looking for survivors he could help.

Before Lia could get a reply from Doc Brown, she was interrupted by the boom followed by hundreds of shadows invading their camp. "Doc Brown, we need to run!" She shoved the man forward and took off herself, however, a shadow was quicker then Lia thought, and it grabbed the girl's arms, holding them at the wrist, it smiled with a devilish grin, and made an attempt to bite the girls neck.

She cursed and stumbled back, almost getting bit right off the bat. Renegade, her ever faithful companion, leaped into action seeing his master in danger. He headbutted the shadow in it's gut before sinking his teeth into its stomach. The action was enough or Lia to stumble forward away for a moment, so she took advantage of the free moment and reached for a pistol she kept in her bag. She tugged it out and pointed it at the shadow, biting her lip nervously as she tried to fire at the shadow and not hit her dog.

(I might be leaving here shortly to go grocery shopping, but not quite sure yet. I'm just going to eat lunch and keep waiting to see when my mom calls me to leave. lol.)

He pulls out an explosive round and slid it into the chamber closing the bolt. "I think we should hold out here for the night. Then as soon as dawn breaks we head for ocean they won't mess with us," he laid on the roof, setting his bipod up looking down the scope, "and half of us have decent equipment," he made a few adjustments to his scope finding a group of infected moving there way closer to the fence, "so it will work. Now cover your ears this is going to be loud." He squeezed the trigger sending the bullet down at the group of infected. It split the skull of one and as it ripped through the chest of another it primed and exploded. "And set a better gaurds on the fence, I saw them from about a mile away."

"Alright!" he shouted, turning around, before following Issac. He stood behind Issac, blasting all of the Shadows that attempted to take him by surprise. One charged forward, before it's head was blasted clean off it's shoulders by a bolt. He turned, taking aim at another target, as it too, met the same fate. "Is the civillian infected?!" Octavian shouted, before he blasted another infected open.

(( Oh shit. ))

Uncle Ruckus strayed near the survivors, guarding the entrance, totting a 12-gauge shotgun over his shoulder, “10-4, 10-4. This is Uncle Ruckus to survivor camp, no sightings of nig--” And then he saw it: Ryu Keiko. Ruckus gasped, tackling the poor African-Japanese hybrid onto the ground, eyes wide in a frenzy...

"Ryu Keiko said:

Ryu sighed as he tried to think of possibilities of what should be done. Maybe I should just walk up and introduce myself, like a normal person! Ya klutz! Ryu thought. He sighed and finally came to the conclusion to just walk up to them. He began walking towards the group, wondering what the hell he would even say. Man...I hate trying to be social, but there is no way around them. Maybe I could just...fake my way through them?

Alert! Alert! We have a Code Black! Code Black! I repeat, a feral shitskin has made it's way to base camp! Oh-oh-oh, it's fightin' back! What a surprise! C'mon, give up, I know yo' plan, I'm uncultured! Tryin' to get us killed, tryin' to INFECT your impure seed into the white wimminez! I'm proficient in I'm unculturedology, boy! "Oh, sweet! Er, my vote's for Option C by the way."

She giggled in a giddy fashion, prepping Pow-Pow and revving it up, preparing to stand her ground with her three deadly friends.

Annie looked from the parking lot to her brother, her dark green eyes showing fear.

"Ellis, my notes, by the gods, you have to get my notes! We can stand and fight, at least until everyone have made there mind about the options." Annie pointed to the side of the building,

"That room that we were in, my notes are in there, a big black book. Hurry!" Annie was panicked, and firing blasts of blue flamed fireballs at the Shadows around the building.

Ryu blinked in surprised as he was tackled by a large man..... And that probably wasn't a good thing. "Get....the hell... OFF OF ME!!" he yelled as his temper let loose and flames erupted around him. His normally bright green eyes went dark as he shouted. "Don't you dare call me that ever again! Or I'll make sure you regret it!!!" he yelled as he began swinging his fist at the large man's face.
