Hizako didn't have much of a response. However when she jumped he looked at her. Though it was too dark to see his face. He thought about putting his arm around her like in the movies. This was typically the part where that happened. No that was stupid. This wasn't a movie.
She chuckled after jumping. She looked at Hizako wondering if he will make a move.
The next jumpscare was much worse. It had lulled them into a false sense of security. Even Hizako flinched.
Jessica jumped again
He took her hand reluctantly.
She smiles taking his hand
He was blushing furiously but she couldn't see it.
She waits for the next scare
Everything after was meh.
She smiles as they got to the end. "That was fun"
"Yeah..." He said letting go of her hand. "Sorry. That was weird."
"Its fine I don't mind." She said
He suddenly checked his phone. "I have to go." He walked away. That was sudden. And a bit suspicious he had been uncomfortable this whole time.
(Sorry for the wait. I had 4:30am shifts the past two days. Kind of tired. ) "Oh " she frowned seeing him walk away. Did he just had enough of being here? She walked over to a bench, still holding the stuffed animal she won and texted Emma. ", Hizako left?"
Emma frowned.
"How are things going with Tommy?" She asked
"Great." Emma said. "This is the best ever. He's so much fun."
"Well that's good. Im just gonna take the bus home. You two keep having fun." She texted back.
Hizako wasn't at the stop. He was at the hospital. His father was dying. Alcohol poisoning.
Jessica went to the bus stop to head home.
He disn't show his face or contact anyone fore three days after that. They could check his home.
Jessica and Tommy came and knocked on the door to check on him.
He opened the door. "FOR THE LAST TIME I'M NOT GOING TO-" He stopped when he saw them. He slammed the door.
"hey dude everything alright?" He said.
"Go away." He said
