Aren't monster hunter weapons magical in giving strength and such

I think it's closer to super saiyan strength.
And yes and no. The weapons can give certain abilities, but it isn't magic. It's more like a form of radiation poisoning, but instead of damaging it gives different effects like increased stamina, or resistance to fire, or attack up. But this is so minimal, and it doesn't affect how the hunter still has to be strong enough to caryy/swing it.

Also, little known fact about monster hunter. It's not a fantasy, it's a Sci fi. How? Because the lore states that thousands of years ago, there was a super advanced civilization that nearly wiped itself out. They're the ones who biologically engineered the Hunter's to have insane strength etc. When the civilization died, it was those Hunter's that survived and rebuilt. The game is actually closer to being about a nuclear fall out than say, a medieval fantasy. It do have fantasy elements tho.

Ok I did some research and in order to even swing the weapons of mh the Hunter's have to use more torque than the world's fastest car/the car with the most torque ever made. Which is. A lot. To say the least. And it'd take even more strength to not dislocate your arms swinging it. Soooo yeah, insanely strong lol.

It's really good! Mh rise is also on pc. And if you decide to get it, wait on getting the sunbreak dlc bc you won't be able to do any of the quests for it until you reach hunter rank 7 in the multi-player hub anyways. Which is basically beating the base game. Lol
