"The arcana is the means by which all is revealed"
- ยป Melia Antiquaใ LOCATION ใin front of the mansionใ TAGGED ใ NeonArmageddonMelia quietly nodded along as Tenko went into her brief explanation. So this Aikido was some form of combat? She supposed that did make some sense given the stance the other girl had quickly taken up. Even so, it was strange that she was unfamiliar with such a style. Of course, she by no means was an expert in the sort, but given her travels, she had learned of a variety of things- including unfamiliar ways of combat that other races had used. She'd even learned of things from a whole different world as well. Even with that vast amount of knowledge, it was clear she still had many things to learn. How interesting.
Snapping from her own thoughts after a few seconds, Melia's wings twitched as she notice of Tenko's hesitation to demonstrate. Her confusion began to make itself present on her face until the other continued on to explain before she could even question it. "Toss me around...?" the queen once again parroted. What exactly had she agreed to... well, not fully agreed to thanks to Tenko's respect, but still. She would have never anticipated there would be throwing involved. This aikido was sounding more and more like something Reyn would thoroughly enjoy. He had always been one for brute force after all. Perhaps if she learned it she could bring it home to reach him, although maybe that wasn't in her best interest. She could already imagine him using it to throw poor Shulk around and receive a scolding from Fiora. The vivid image of such that played in her heard caused a small smile to crack on her lips though.
"I would have never anticipated any of this to include throwing me around, but..." Pausing, Melia pondered her next words carefully. "I know I may not look it, but I assure you I am far more durable than I may seem, and am no stranger to combat. I'd love to see this fighting style in action!"
It was a daring statement to make, yet she was bold enough to make it. The High Entia was more than willing to bare through brief pain if it meant pursuing something unbeknownst to her. However, even if she wished to learn, all would be put on hold as Ever's voice echoed out around the area and called for all of them to gather. The sound of her voice immediately caused Melia's wings to perk and give a small flap before settling once more. "How unfortunate. It seems we'll have to put this on hold until after we've listened to this host speak."
With a small shake of her head, Melia turned herself towards the group that had begun forming and gestured her head forward for Tenko to follow. "We mustn't keep them waiting. It sounds like she'll be offering us important information." Moving forth, she took off to get closer to Ever to make it easier to hear what it was she wished to tell them.code by @Nano - ยป Xionใ LOCATION ใin front of the mansionEntertainment for others... Finding a suitable partner... Such things admittedly made her uncomfortable, even though she had willingly accepted the invitation to this place. In all honesty, Xion's reasons for coming were far from what the intended purpose of the show all was, but she figured admitting to such a thing was better left unsaid. Besides, there was no telling if something would happen. Could something even happen? She was supposed to lack the emotions of a normal person after all, so was it possible for her to even feel such feelings? The thought briefly lingered in her mind, but her mind quickly snapped back to reality as Roxas began going on about it all possibly being a trap or something set up by the Organization.
Blinking a few times, she gave a small shake of her head to dismiss the idea. This couldn't be a trap. There was no way they had found a way to bring her back, right? The possibility made her nervous, though her expression remained calm. Even if it was them, it wasn't as if they usually hid themselves, yet looking around, she didn't see anyone wearing something similar to her own coat. It had to be alright. Xion was sure of it.
"I don't think this is any kind of enemy trap," she finally spoke before reaching out a hand and placing it on Roxas' shoulder. It was a small gesture, one she had admittedly learned from her time around him and Axel, but she hoped it would relax him. Xion even gave his shoulder a light squeeze and offered a kind smile of assurance. "Besides, if something does happen, we have each other around to watch each other's backs."
For a brief moment, it was almost as if Xion had forgotten Ike was standing with them, but when Ever's voice reached her, her attention shifted and in that moment the realization hit her. The tenderness that had become present on her features as she looked upon Roxas quickly faded and the nervous look from before made itself present once more. It would definitely take her time to get comfortable around the others.
Gathering herself, the replica removed her hand from Roxas' shoulder and moved it to point in Ever's direction. "Sounds like she's going to tell us something important. We should probably listen. It might help us understand what's going on better."
Xion could only hope that was what was going to happen. The better she could understand her current scenario, the better, especially with all these people and cameras around watching her. Even if she had relaxed since Roxas' arrival, she still was anxious. Her body language said that much- stiff shoulders, fidgety hands, even the slow shifting of her eyes. It all showed her uncomfortableness if one bothered to pay attention, though a quick turn of her body in Ever's direction made it hard to do just that.code by @Nano
