More Than One?

Valorie laughed. "I do like water, and no I don't have nine lives. Just one horribly painful one." She said, her smile spread wide across her face. "Oh yeah, and sorry about the wing thing from earlier." She said, blushing slightly. Why was she blushing so much? She took her hands and slapped her cheeks lightly.

Kit points at her for a moment and shakes his head. "I am deeply offended by that and I can feel a pain in my wing even if I do not have wings anymore. You know, like those amputees who feel pain in their arm where there arm no longer is." He laughs slightly, "but seriously yeah, you're forgiven, which is rare. Demons usually hold grudges forever."

Valorie blushed. "I will consider myself lucky then" She said. "I think I remembered that from trying to catch a duck who kept flying away, so I grabbed it's wing and it dropped like a stone." She said. "Other than that, so for the hind legs, it's the part that drives there speed." She said, licking her lips.

Kit narrows his eyes at her and points at her again, "you're being creepy, kitten." He puts his hand back on his thigh and sips his soda, "next time I turn I'll try not to turn into anything with wings, couldn't have you thinking I'm a duck trying to get away, could I?" He laughs.

Valorie laughed. "I really only turn when I wish to or when I am extremely angry. So you must have pissed me off pretty bad because I can't really remember much of what happened, just me tearing you're wing."

"I was teasing you, it's my fault." He says and smiles at her, a genuine smile. "I wish I only turned when I wanted. I can turn when I want, yes, but because it's painful I try not to. And the fact that I don't turn often means that when I do turn it's worse. And then there's also the fact that I turn out of my own free will every few days if I haven't turned by choice."

Valorie sighed. "That must suck. I usually use my free period as an excuse to let my tiger out so I won't kill anyone." She said, fiddling with her fingers. She had never really talked to someone for this long without them losing a finger so for her, this conversation was on a roll. She smiled warmly at him, enjoying this.

"Id try to turn everyday if I didn't value my bones." He laughs a little. This was the first time he had actually ever talked to someone about this. The only person who knew was his mother, and that caused her to stay away from him as much as she could. He guaranteed that his mother wouldn't be home till the very latest that she could be.

Val smiled, leaning back on the couch. "So what do we do now? We have all day, there is nothing to do, so what do you want to do to pass time?" She asked, her tail flicking over her lap.

"I actually don't know. I usually spend all my time just in my room trying not to kill my mother or anything, so I don't really... What do you usually do?" He asks her, shrugging his shoulders.

Valorie sighed. "The same thing, except mine causes lots of scratch marks to appear on my walls." She said, looking at her finger nails, which looked almost docile compared to her tiger ones.

"You should have seen my old bedroom," he laughs, "changing in there sometimes ended up interesting, you know when the dice rolled and I ended up with a tail or with bigger wings than yesterday. That's the only reason I had to tell my mother," he laughs slightly. "And the reason I had to move town. Hunters were starting to catch on."

Val nodded. "That must have kind of sucked a bit." She said, laughing a bit. She had experienced transforming inside, and that ended with her couch covered in cat fur and giant claw marks in her door. She smiled at him, enjoying hanging out with someone who was like her, or at the least a little bit.

"Sucked a lot, actually." Kit smiles and he stands up, walking over to his window and looking out of it. "If you ever run into a hunter, I suggest you run. Seriously. It may seem like a good idea to stand your ground and just fight them off but... If you kill one, you get more attention, and they keep on coming."

Valorie nodded, turning around so she was lying down on the couch. She crossed her legs, smiling at him. He seemed like he was thinking about something, but she didn't mind. Smiling, she purred lightly. "I will." She said.

He turned back to look at her, leaning against the wall beside the window and smiling slightly at her. "Good, I'm glad." He walks over to the sofa and leans against the arm. "Hey, is there anything you want to do? I'm so bored."

Val shrugged. "We could watch something, like a movie." She suggested, her tail flicking around behind her as she talked to him. Her ears twitched a bit too, waiting for a response.

"Yeah, yeah that's a good idea." He says and walks towards a box of things behind the couch, dragging it over to Valorie so that she could see the films that came out of the box. "Okay, we have..." He opens the box, pulling out piles of DVD's, "lots. Get your ass down here and pick out your favourites." He laughs.

Val smiled and slunk off the couch, crawling towards the box on all fours. She peered over the edge, examining all the movie choices she had. She ran her finger over the spines of the boxes, stopping on "The Avengers.". She slipped her fingers around the boxy, tugging it out from the rest of them. "This one."" She said.

"Comedy and action genius ravelled into superhero fun, good choice." Kit laughs, before grabbing the box from her and taking it over to the TV, turning it on and opening the DVD player. Embarrassingly, the last thing watched was some chick flick, and he swapped the disc and waited for the DVD to show on the TV screen before taking the chick flick back over to the box and putting it back in its rightful box.

Valorie smiled. "A softy kind of guy." She joked, her ears twitching and her tail swishing back and for as she sat on the couch. 'You are a real catch for the ladies." She joked again, her eyes half closed as she was in a happy and relaxed mood. Her smile came easy, which was something rare for her. That never happened.

"Pfft, no, no. That film totally sucks, I swear." He says and grins slightly, blushing while he pushes the box of DVD's away from the couch and stands before sitting down on it again. Okay, so he had watched the DVD, but it's not like he really cared about the characters in it. He was just looking for some light entertainment. Yep.

Valorie smiled. "Aww, so cute. You even deny it to." She said, leaning back as her tail wrapped around her middle. He was just an interesting person. A total bad ass demon that could tear things apart in seconds and scare the living breath out of someone, and yet his human form is soft and likes to watch romance movies.

"I'm not cute! In a lethal and sexy killing machine!" He pouts and crosses his arms across his chest, tucking his feet underneath him. He reaches for the remote and presses play, and the movie begins. He loved this movie, it was hilarious and also action packed and everything he could want. He hoped it didn't damage his reputation too much that he'd been caught owning various chick flicks.

Valorie smiled. "That watches chick flicks." She added before the movie started. She had seen this many times before, as it was her favorite movie that she owned. That and the Iron Man Trilogy. She smiled as it started, watching the move and reciting the lines in her head as the movie went along.
