Monsters and Myth

'People...' she was forced to open the doors of the bar, as now her form was only seen as a dark, mystic Soul Reaper. She looked at them all with blood red eyes, resisting the urge to throw her deadly chains at their bodies and eat their flesh away. The stony reaper took a step forward, but stopped in mid-step as she forced it backwards and kept her arms down from throwing the chains. She was actually controlling it! But there was another problem, they might turn to attack her. She tried to speak words, but they sounded muffled and craggily. "... Don't... A-Attack!" Kai was in a neutral state, and focused on keeping this thing in it's spot.

Nathan gave the werewolf a very coy grin, shrugging innocently as he says, "You know what? You don't need to know right now. I'll just pop by later, alright?" With a sly wink he turns on his heel and makes his way towards the door. Only now did he realize just how much of a pickle he'd gotten himself to as he finds himself blocked by the deathly figure who'd just been leaving when he arrived. His expression turning serious, the only thing that stopping him for going for his gun was it's plea to not attack it. He took note of the young vampire standing near her, his lips forming into a frown as he saw a familiar tattoo on his neck. Letting out a sigh, he slowly approaches the skeletal woman, trying to catch her eye as he softly says, "Hey. We're going to try and get you out of here. Do you think you can stay like that while we move you?"

((Well. . . .yeah, so that didn't actually happen -_- I got my game all set up, played for about twenty minutes, then got a call from work asking if I was coming in for my shift tonight. I panicked and checked my schedule and sure enough, I was just a derp and thought I worked TOMORROW, not today. So that call came when I was already fifteen minutes late, and then it took me twenty to get ready really, really fast and get to the store, and I still managed to get everything done barely on time, but I was in super stress anxiety mode the entire time and I never ate dinner. So I'm now eating a sandwich, Doritos, and brownie with a gigantic glass of milk, and hopefully ill be able to calm down and sleep soon OTL ill try to reply in the morning, k?))

((So I made my characters walk out of the store thinking the bar scene wouldn't last this long. Boy was I wrong. Im guna end up bringing them back in the bar in a very random way ^.^... tomorrow though ))

When a hand rested on his gun, Nicolai nearly shifted into action, picturing in his head just how to incapacitate the person that dared to touch a loaded firearm while the gunman still held it. Bt there were more pressing matters. He shoved up to his feet, moving so that the sickly vampire wasnt in the way anymore, and leveled his gun at the creature's head but . . . stopped. How was this possible? Was it . . . Was it controlling itself?

"Put the damn gun down!" She hissed, almost dropping to her knees. She was just about to loose it if the gun was to fire or even stay pointed. "Don't make me!" Kai said once more, the figure taking one step. 'No...' she hissed in her mind, and tried to make it step back. This was a nightmare. It truly was.

Nicolai's eyes widened, and though he hated the thought of it and hesitated enough for one of its feet to show signs of moving again, he let go of the gun, letting it just swing to rest with his finger in the trigger guard. He went so far as to set the safety on and tuck it into his belt, knowing he could have it again instantly if he needed it. Crane had come out of his hiding spot to see what was going on and slung an arm around Nicolai's shoulders, grinning. "Kinda shiny, isn't it?" Nicolai wanted to hit him.

The Reaper had determined no more threats, and could possibly wait another day for another soul. "Thank.... You!" Kai now focused on containing the thing, and the stony-ness began to turn to skin. 'C'mon!' She thought, as the redness went away and her own Soul was restored. "WHHOOO!" She threw her arms in the air. "I did it! I did it.... I... Are those police still coming?" She asked, cutting out the song she was singing.

Crane sighed and just leaned his weight on Nicolai. "Aw. No fun."

Nicolai fought the urge to slap a hand to either of their foreheads and just gave his head a quick shake. "Youre insane."

Crane grinned. "I know."

List rolled his eyes and leaned an elbow on the bar. "I never actually told them what happened and then conveniently solved the problem myself. They're not coming." He knew Nicolai would have been angry at him and grouched around for days if he'd let her kill all those officers.

"No fun? Are you asking me to kill you?" She asked with a smirk, and sat down in one of the chairs. Kai turned her attention o the bartender. "And thank you for not telling them..." She said with a warming smile.

List gave her a blank look, as if uninterested. "Who said I did it for you?" He said, raising an eyebrow slightly. "And who said you could stay just because I didn't call anyone to haul you out? Get the **** out of my bar." He glanced around at the others and shook his head, moving to start putting everything away and shut everything down so they could close. "All of you."

"I appreciate it..." Kai groaned, slammed the doors shut with anger as she walked out, and then sat down in the alley from where those men were at.

(Wow...for some reason, RPNation didn't want to alert me to new posts being made here >< I don't get how that happened...but I missed a lot, sorry...)

Katrina was unsure of what to do. If the Paranormals would come with all the activity around here, she didn't want to be seen...

As everyone was told to get out of the bar, she didn't hesitate. She rushed outside, going into the alleyway and glancing around at everyone who came by. Even outside seemed pretty busy. She tried to remain quiet and hidden, not wanting to really draw attention to herself.

Sire watched as a little girl whom he assumed was elvish ran out of the bar. He was a regular at the bar and was good friends with the owner. He reached out and grabbed the little girls arm because he thought she looked sort of suspicious just running out of the bar. "Woah woah woah whats the rush little girl? Wheres the fire at?" he asked her getting down to her level looking deep into her eyes.

(I'm assuming you're talking about jj's character?)

((She did run out with a bunch of food earlier, but no one was outside to respond. Thanks for drawing JJ back in, Seraph. I tried to get everyone out of the bar so they can do more lol))
((Hey, jj9095. Just making sure you didn't stop getting alerts too. I hate when that happens. But we've got an opening for you now))

((Yaaayy! I have class until 8:30pm and then ill be able to RP insanely but right now I have to do major hw D= I will take off PS3 time to be active here though after 8:30 ^.^))

Bianca looked at the man and shoved the food in her pockets quickly. "You didnt see that monster? I wasn't going to stay there and let it eat me!" She said trying to sound innocent and scared. She looked down and pouts. She makes her hands shake and hugs the guy. "Are you going to protect me?" She says while looking around for a way to get out of this. Shes good at drama but its not like she took any classes so the faster she can get away the faster she wont get caught.

Vallan nodded his head at the bartender's request and left, albeit rather slowly. He put a hand to his head, as he felt the room begin to spin. He had somehow managed to make it out the door, before collapsing on the street. His head was pounding and he could barely walk. He had gone too long without blood and he was suffering for it. He shakily got up from the ground and continued walking. He didn't care if this continued forever, he would not feed on someone. He made his way into a nearby alley and slumped against a wall. He bit his hand and licked the blood, hoping that it would satisfy him in some way. It hadn't and now the headache was getting worse.

She watched all the commotion that seemed to be going down at the bar, standing in the shadows at the edge of an alleyway. Her hands were shoved deep into the pockets of her dark hoodie, the pupil of her one green eye sliding in the direction that a girl was heading as she stormed past her into the alleyway. The girl must've not noticed Xela standing there, considering she blended in well with the darkness.

Drip

She looked up into the starry sky..

Drip

Another raindrop fell from the incoming clouds, smacking her forehead as she winced slightly. It seemed that maybe a storm was headed her way. With that, she stepped forward from the shadows and into the street lights. She kept her eyes on the gray clouds overhead, a couple more droplets of water falling onto her face. They slid down her face like tears, making it seem as if she had some kind of emotion. She did, but she bottled everything up inside her. She was afraid of her own self--she was afraid to cry.

She reached her hand up, allowing her fingers to brush against the white eyepatch that covered her right eye. Her hand then fell to her side, her head looking down at the ground with it. She watched as the little droplets of rain created dark spots on the pavement.

Bianca looked behind the man to make sure he was not with anyone and saw a girl with an eye patch holding her hands up to the rain that started to slowly hit her face as she looked up at the man on front of her. "Sir," she said politely, "do you know her?" She he pointed to the girl behind him.

Xela's eyes continued to focus on the droplets of rain hitting the pavement, her jaw clenching tightly together. She could feel it. She could feel someone pointing their finger directly at her. Why? Why did they insist on drawing attention to her presence? Was it the eyepatch that caused them to notice her? Ha..wasn't it always? She didn't want anyone to know she existed in this world..sometimes she just thought that maybe she'd be better off dead--that way she could never hurt anybody ever again, no matter how badly they toyed with her head.

Her emerald eye grew cold, her feet stepping back into the shadows in fear of those surrounding her. She shouldn't be afraid of them..she was much stronger, much more powerful. However, that's exactly why she was frightened..

What if.........

Vallan managed to get up from his position on the floor and walk through the streets once more. His sense were on high alert. His instincts searching for any sort of blood. He was barely managing to hold back his urges and wouldn't be able to for much longer. As he walked, he caught sight of there people. There was a man and two women. He stared at them almost longingly. However, he was focusing on their necks, rather than the actual people they belonged to. They were definitely mythical beings, but that was even better than a normal human. Their blood was the most rejuvenating. His eyes began turning a brighter red, fangs beginning to grow. He wouldn't be able to hold himself back for long. His only hope was to force his body to walk somewhere and hope they didn't notice him. However, it was more than likely that they did, given that he was the only one, besides the three, standing out in the open.
