Monsters and Myth

"No its alright I've already prepared a meal." he told her and walked over to a curtain that he pulled back revealing a table filled with delicious meats and fruits. Their were fine dishes and crystal glasses at the ends of a rectangular table. "Go ahead made it just for you."

Spirit looked at Sylvas aura, it was completely green with shsdows of blck sprayed upon it as if she has not had a pleasant past. "Sylva, arent forest nymphs normally in, you know, a forest?" She asked softly and carefully. She didn't know how much power she had but she knew it was more then hers since she was still in training.

Bianca looked at the food and started walking around it slowly on her tippy toes since she was too small to look from on top of the table. She walked around it trying to figure out which ones would last a couple days so she can take them later and- 'no. No stealing. This is a good man. I dont steal from good men, even if they refuse to tell me their name.' She looked up at her green mystery man and slowly bit a cinnamon bun. She wondered if this was a story kind of like hansel and gretel. 'Does he want to eat me?' Bianca looked at him curiously while finishing to chew. When she swallowed she asked him a question. "Are there other kids here?" She asked in a way to make it sound as she was asking for the possibility of making friends or playing with them.

Sylva's eye widen a bit when she heard the question before her expression turned solemn and her once cheerful green eyes turned sorrowful. "Yes, normally." she replied in a soft voice, "But we can't live in a place that no longer exist, the forest that I once lived at was torn to the ground..."

Sire looked down at her "Well currently there aren't any children here." He sat down at the other end of the table and dug in to a chop of veal. Sire looked at her in the eyes and laughed "Im not sure what kind of idiot you think I am Lassie." He stabbed his knife down into the chop and stood up looking down at her.

Spirit looked at her sadly and saw that her aura was turning black. She looked at her with wide eyes, trying to figure out what to do. "I-" she closed her eyes and looked at her wondering. "Can you find another forest?" She looked at both her eyes getting scared. "How about living in my garden? I wouldnt mind having a friend." She smiled at her sweetly.

Sylva turned her head towards the willow behind her, she lightly traced the trunk with her fingers. "Its difficult to find another forest in this time as the further we are from nature the more energy and life force is drained from me." She continued to trace her finger against the willow as if she was trying to soothe the sapling to sleep. Sylva wonder how she survived whereas her sisters and brothers have died. Spirit's voice broke Sylva free from her thoughts and turned back towards her, "You wouldn't mind?" she asked.

Bianca looked at him with wide eyes and dropped the cinnamon bun. "I- I'm sorry its just my normal act, it becomes part of you." She puts her head down honestly feeling sad. "If you know I'm not a kid then why are you being so nice to me?"

Spirit smiled big at Sylva. "No! Of course not! Right now I am in a hotel room but there is a house in the town that I keep looking at with a beautiful garden that WILL be mine." She smiled up at her. "How about after I get the house ill give you a call." She put up the pink flower and then brought it back down. "And tell you where it is?" Spirit took out her hand hoping Sylva knew what shaking hands meant. "Deal?"

Sire laughed at her and smiled. He sat back down in his seat and continued eating "Your stealing your obviously not in the best financial position. I'm just trying to help you unless your not okay with that." He finished his meal and took another bottle of wine finishing it off as if it were nothing and looked at her in the eyes. "Its not nice to deceive people especially after they give you a home, give you food and dont turn you over for stealing."

Sylva nodded her head and brought out her hand. "Alright, till then I'll living in this park." She then grasped Spirit's hand and shook it.

Bianca frowned. "I'm a kid at heart?" She didn't really know what to say but she thought apologizing would be a good idea. "I'm sorry." She walked up to him. "Pinky promise I'll be truthful. I don't exactly like getting help but because this is a temporary helping hand so I can try doing something else with my life then I owe you, Leprechaun." Bianca smiled and turned around getting herself a plate and being very careful on what she wanted to eat and the amount that she gets.

Spirit finished shaking her hand and smiles. "Ill be back in a jiffy!" She puts a hand on her broom and the broom starts to fly, she easily gets on it and goes straight to the house with the beautiful humongous garden. She rings the doorbell. "Excuse me? Can I buy your house?" She puts a small amount of obeying potion on them for they still to do it willingly and soon buys the house. They are to move away in a week and then she gets to move in with Sylva.

Sylva watched Spirit leave with a smile on her face. As soon as Sylva couldn't see her she got up from her seat by the willow and began to nimbly climb the tree. She settled herself high among the branches, to avoid being seen by mortals, and leaned against a sturdy branch to rest. Sylva closed her green eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

A week later the house was completely empty and Spirit walked in with four briefcases and the pink flower. She had already taken up the dimensions for each room and bought everything and had even decided on how each piece of furniture was going to be placed. She put the brief cases open in the middle of the empty rooms exactly in each room. She put herself in the closet knowing this could get a little messy and then clapped her hands twice. All the furniture flew out of the briefcase and into each area of the house exactly where she wanted it. The living room, both bedrooms, and the bathroom was set. The kitchen worked a little differently. She came in with 3 boxes again later that day and with a couple powders. She opened the boxes and put all the spoons, knives, and forks together and opened up the drawer. One by one each group was added a little bit of magic powder to it and she told them where to place themselves. She did the same thing with the cups and the plates. Finally she went to the backyard to the garden and made sure it was fine. She nodded. She hadn't bought anything for Sylva yet wanting her to pick her own stuff. She had made sure each room had plenty of flowers and plants to make Sylva at home though just in case. Finally she went back to her living room and picked up the pink flower. "Sylva? Its Spirit. The house is done. Can't wait to see you!" She walked outside and waited for her while sitting on front of their own oak tree in the corner of the huge yard right next to the garden.

For the most of the week Sylva spent most of her days up in the high branches of the oak tree. During the days the park gradually grew more wild from its primed view. Sylvia enjoyed that the trees and flowers were starting to break free from its orderness and were starting to look like the forests she onced lived in. Sylvia would usually climb down from her perch and walk around the park, aiding the foilage to grow.

It was midafternoon, Sylvia was leaning against the trunk of oak tree merely looking at the mortals do their daily routines. She twirled her moss green hair around her fingers as she hummed a simple tune. The peaceful setting was broken when Sylva heard Spirit's cheerful voice. Sylva smiled, joyful to hear her friend "That was fast." she said astonished, Sylva stood up on the oak's branch "Can't wait to see you too." She then nimbly climb down the tree and patted the trunck in farewell before gathering some fresh soil in a jar. Sylva made sure that her barefeet has some soil on them before walking towards the house Spirit told her a week ago.

Spirit heard a knock on the and ran to the front of the house to see Sylva. "Oh, hey! I kind of expected you to show you up in the middle of my garden or come out of tree or something in the backyard." Spirit giggled and opened the door wide. "Please come in! Make yourself at home!"

Sylva smiled and playfully said, "But thats considered rude in mortals standards." She walked into the house and looked around with her jar of dirt in her arms. Sylva smiled, "Be careful in saying 'Make yourself at home' cause I might overrun the house with ivy."

Spirit gasped. "I would honestly love that! I have always wanted a house with ivy around it! Also I put in each room a ton of plants if you didnt notice already." Spirit smiled. "Pretty please make yourself at home! Also, we arent mortals." Spirit winked at her. "And in this home I say we both dont need to act like it!" Spirit started to turn around but remembered. "Oh! I was thinking if this worked out that maybe can try to find other monsters and open are homes for them to pass by, what do you think?" ((So other characters can get involved))

Sylva smiled at Spirit's enthusiasm of having an ivy covered home. Sylva started giggling, "Alright Spirit I'll cover the house with ivy just for you." She nodded her head, making the pink flowers in her hair bounce. "Seems like a good idea." replied Sylva, "I see no reason not open our home. If they want to live here I see no reason to drive them away." Sylva made her way through the house to reach the garden in the backyard.

Spirit smiled at Sylva and gave her a quick hug. "Ill be back okay? I'm going to put up posters!" Spirit was kind of excited to meet other monsters like Sylva and open up her new house to them as well. She had no problem splitting the bills and getting friends in the outside world either. She skipped along and put up posters of her house with a hint of magic so only non-mortals would be interested. When she finished around the town she washed her hands in the nearest store, which ended up being the bar she stopped at when she came to this town. She giggled at the irony and started to leave back home and ask Sylva where she wanted her room and go shopping with her unless someone called her phone and wnated to be one of their new roommates.
