No I hadn't thought of that, but I'll happy add those to the list. Nothing cooler then finding buried masks to sell or wear yourself...

I'm good. Amadeus will fill out an important niche that we needed. Cross, have you been following any modern quests as an anonymous player? I tried getting into Shadow of Zeon but Dom ended up being too Mary Sue-ish for my taste. Like, he amasses a harem that includes Loli Haman and a Cyber-Newtype from the Advance of Zeta series.

Not really, I've been too focused on my own stuff to really do so. Though Shadow of Zeon sound pretty crap with that harem garbage. I'm probably being a bit too over judgmental though.

It's always nice to see Western music tributes to Gundam. Andrew WK released Gundam Rock in Japan and Richie Kotzen covered a ton of openings.

Yeah Andrew K's work is really nice, though I'm not always a fan of American covers of Japanese songs and themes. Also where is Quiet? She hasn't posted in a while and the roleplay is somewhat held up because of it.

Alrighty! After a quick read through, I think I would like to join. Seems like fun to me. I especially like the the whole "the GM chooses" mechanic of discoveries. Surprises like that can be really fun.


Now though I do know the concept of Gundam, it's been a long long time since I have watched the series, the one i think i watched the longest was G Gundam, since it was the only one the aired on TV at the time. So please pardon my lacking knowledge, though I will be approaching this with a fresh interest.


I am willing to work with you as much as you need. If you need something from my char or would like to see something, let me know. I also have a tendency to ask a lot of questions, sometimes seemingly redundant or innane ones (but I promise they have a purpose, even if only to clarify) so I will apologize about that in advance.


Now I have yet to read through all of the ooc or read everyone's CS yet, so I don't have much in the way of a good baseline and I hope I won't be copying anyone. I do already have a small concept of a character in mind. A hotshot pilot kind of guy from a small town life with dreams of adventure and excitement, a dream of reaching for the stars. Life is what you make it, after all, or so he believes. Though he can be aggressive and hotheaded, he is actually quite charismatic and despite him not being the most intelligent person out there, to out it nicely, he is pretty good at "winging it". He can be a bit reckless but has good enough reflexes and instinct not to have gotten himself killed yet, or maybe it is just dumb luck. Still, everything he does, he does with a fiery, and somewhat cheesy, passion for better or worse.


If this sounds okay, I will get a proper CS ready tonight I hope. If not, then I have no problems starting from scratch. And if there is any sort of trope or personality type or anything else you would like to see that hasn't been made yet, don't hesitate to let me know.

But I will open with a single topic as it would pertain to how my characters creation. Lol going to start small this time.


Is excavating frowned upon by law enforcement or is it sanctioned? And how does one excavate giant robots and other such tech, is there technology enough that they can be discovered by one nosy and persistent person, or does such a thing normally need to be handled by a crew?

Even in the areas that do outlaw excavation there's a significant lack of strong law enforcement bodies outside of local individuals like sheriffs and their deputies. Excavation of mobile suits and technology relies solely on digging down to where they are and uncovering them. The machines themselves have somehow remained preserved underground through some unknown means.


There's a tremendous amount of technology buried underground all over the world, more then one person could possibly uncover all by themselves in a single life time. When it comes to excavation you normally need a crew of people, but if you already have a fairly deep dig site a single person can uncover a suit or two by themselves with enough grueling work. Typically things like cranes or winches are needed to move around larger pieces of tech and suits if no one knows how to pilot them, but equipment like that is fairly uncommon.
