Mercanaries (Arubion Sivart)

He'd curl into a ball with his tails covering him making him look like a super comfy pillow.... He'd yawn cutely and fall asleep..

Neimi smiled and giggled slightly at the sight of the sleeping Arubion. Yes.. I could definitely get used to this side of him... Neimi yawned sleepily, still fatigued by recent events. She laid down an arm around Arubion, nuzzling his soft fur... and promptly fell asleep.

Hours later, Calor briskly stepped into the tent, pausing for a moment as he saw how... familiar with each other the two were being. regaining his composure, he walked over to them. "Neimi! Arubion! I apologize for interrupting your rest, but there's an emergency."

Neimi sleppily sat up, rubbing her eyes and looking up at Calor sleepily. "What's the matter?" Calor only looked down with a rather grave expression. "...I think it'd be easier to show you rather than explain."

Neimi sighs, and picks Arubion up. Honestly Arubion, what would you do without me, she thought. Calor leads them outside, and as they walk, Neimi begins to feel the ground shaking slightly. "Wh-what's going on?! An earthquake?" calor shakes his head, and points to the west. Neimi strains to see, then gasps in terror....

Spearbreaker_Behemoth.jpg

"Wh-What is that giant monster?!?!" Calor sighs, drawing his sword. "A Behemoth... no doubt sent by Lord Nassus of Stockholm. He'd kill us all, just to wipe the both of you from this land..."

Arubion would jump out of her arms.... His Demonic Aura would rise as he Vanishes and appears infront of the monster kicking it's face to the left sending it flying....

The monster was sent falling over, crushing several trees. With an annoyed rawr is stood up, and with it's massive arms he tried to reach for Arubion. Noticing this, Neimi fired an arrow at it's hand... which didn't seem to do much but turn it's attention towards her. it swiped it's massive hand towards Neimi, knocking over a few elven warriors futilely stabbing and shooting at it. Calor spoke up, his voice booming ."EVERYONE STOP! ONLY MAGIC CAN HARM IT!" With that, Calor stepped in front of Neimi and with with sword, which was glowing an intense golden color, made a large gash on the huge creature's hand, which roared in pain, and went to smash Calor with it's other hand.

Arubion would Have Nine Flames come off of his tails... they'd increase in size before launching at the Monster... It'd incinerate it.. But Arubion would pass out...

The monster collapsed with a horrible screech, falling on and destroying the tent Neimi and Arubion had just come out of. Calor sighed, rubbing his temples. ""We're going to have to leave now, he knows our location. Neimi, go find Arub-" Calor looked over to where Niemi just was, but she was already rushing to Arubion's side. She sighed, scooping the tiny fox demon inter her arms. "Stop being so reckless Arubion.. you're going to give me a heart attack..." She whispered. She doubt he her heard though, he was out cold. neimi went back to calor, who was yelling order to gather and stabilize the wounded, pack up and get ready to move. Noticing Neimi, he saw she was cradling Arubion. "Is he alright?" Neimi nodded. "I think so... he just needs to rest." Calor nods, smiling slightly. "Good. You seem quite fond of the boy, I'm sure you'll ensure a smooth recovering." Neimi nods timidly, blushing a bit. "Mm-hm."Calor chuckles, giving her a gentle pat on the back. "Regardless, we need to get moving. I.. apologize about your place of lodging, we'll figure something out. For now, just watch over Arubion." A few hours later, the elves had thier tents packed up and the tribe began moving to the east. Neimi noticed many of the elves giving her and Arubion angry glances. Rumors about how the monster attacked because of them were circulating. They were true... Neimi wondered why Calor was still keeping her and Arubion around. she hung at the back of the caravan, carrying Arubion as they went. Calor offered to put him in the caravan to give Neimi's arms a break, but she refused.

Neimi felt something tugging on her shirt and looked down. 'Oh... that's right, he did warn me about this...' She caught some of the elves staring at them incredulously, and blushed while trying to pull Arubion away from her chest while still keeping a hold on him. 'Gods, this is embarrassing...'

Neimi was made slightly uncomfortable by the increase in Arubion's Aura, but it was still more than bearable. The other elves, however, backed away. Neimi has always had a higher tolerance for demonic energy than most elves. Elves in general are usually born with some type of magic resistance, but very rarely is it Demonic or Holy Energy. many elves believe the innate magical talents and resistances of thier young are a way to tell an elf's destiny. Neimi's mother thought she would grow up to be a demon slayer because of these talents, but instead her best friend ended up being a demon, and Neimi felt as if they were starting to become something even more than that lately...

Neimi's daydreaming was interrupted by the caravan coming to a halt. From Neimi's position near the back, she couldn't see what was going on, but then she heard a masculine voice shouting something. "Halt! We soldiers of the empire have reason to believe you are harboring two fugitives that have been convicted of treason! if the persons depicted on this wanted poster are here, you are required to hand them over or we are authorized to take them by force! In the case you say they are not here, we will perform a thorough search of the caravans and the surrounding area!" As this was being said, Calor rushed through the caravan towards Neimi. "Gods, this is bad... luckily, I know of a secret compartment in my personal wagon... there's a chance they won't be able to find you there. come." Nemi followed him, unsure of what else she could do. She remained silent, beginning to panic.

Calor led them into his wagon, rather spacious of course, and to the back seat. He whispered an odd incantation in english, and the back of the seat opened backwards, revealing a crevice just large enough for the two to hide. This is when Arubion started to whine. "Alright, climb in there, and try to keep him quiet, will you? only my magic can open this, so if you're quiet enough we should hopefully be able to keep you both safe." Neimi nodded and stepped into the compartment, quietly whispering to Arubion, trying to calm him down.

Neimi winced in pain, but noticing that this was keeping him quiet, she let him continue. It didn't hurt that much, honestly, and after a few seconds she was able to ignore it. She held Arubion closer, keeping as quiet as she can, shaking with fear. If they were found out, she didn't want to think about what would happen then. After a while Neimi heard the door to the carriage open. After what felt like an eternity of hearing footsteps and things being lifted up and moved all around the cabin, Neimi closing her eyes tightly and breathing heavily, she heard talking. "No one in 'ere, boss," a gruff male voice said, and then the door was shut. Neimi sighed in relief, and found herself falling asleep after the wagon stated moving again. She was snapped out of it for a second when she heard Calor's voice. "Neimi, you alright in there? How's Arubion doing?" "Yeah. he's fine." The aging elf sighed in relief. "Good. I apologize, but you'll have to stay down there for a while, at least until we cross the border between countries. Just in case of any more patrols, for your own safety." "Okay... that's fine..." Neimi said sleepily, before drifting off to sleep despite the movement and the occasional bump in the road.

Neimi openeed her eyes sleepily, woken up by an odd sensation. looking down and realizing what it was, she blushed bright red. "H-hey, st-stop that... Arubion, wake up!"

He'd slowly open his eyes still sucking on her chest... He'd notice what he was doing and jump hitting his head against the roof of the box... "Ow..... Sorry...sorry...."

Neimi caught his fall, then set him down in front of her."I-it's okay... are you alright? I'm glad you're finally awake..."

Neimi sighed, and began channeling her healing magic on his bump. "Yeah, I didn't think about how you could hurt yourself if I woke you like that... sorry. This side of you really is... different. I thought it just changed some things, but it looks like this curse of yours really does turn you back into a toddler... a toddler who can incinerate giant monsters, but.. still a toddler."
