Futuristic Mental Apocalypse

(Oh. Seriously.)
(Oookkay. Sig, go ahead and respond to this one. But Kracken, NO SEARCHING TILL THE OTHERS POST!!!!!!!!)

Isaac stopped and gazed at Maddy. In the short moment he moved the hand holding over his wound cupping Maddy's cheek. He slowly shook his head and placed his lips on her forehead. he then pushed her aside.. *No one.. No one will live to see a day if they hurted his friends.. Fear..There goes that F-word again.. Fear.. It lie... It's an Illusion... Focus, focus, focus... Fear... Just another four letter word.. Fear.. Fear. Face them.... For every battle.. There is a price to pay.. Fear Be fearless by choice, not by chance. .. You can't cheat the Grim Reaper..* Isaac smiled.

The door infront of him.. He could hear the voices.. *You can be a king or a street sweeper, but everybody dances with the Grim Reaper...* Isaac spurn the barrel. Pushing the door open with the revovler ready and aiming. *And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was
Death.*

Oak clasped his hand on Isaac's arm like a vice and glared into his eyes. Oak wanted to go berserk too, but this was too much.

"Isaac," Oak growled, "Go f*ck yourself. If you think you're going to take them all alone, you have another think coming."

Oak reached for Maddy's hand and nodded at the two of them.

"All of us. Together."

Madi smiled at Oak and accepted his hand, looking to Isaac. He really needed medical attention, but he didn't seem like he was going to listen to her any time soon. After trying the door and realizing it was locked, she frowned upon seeing no keyhole. There wasn't a keypad either, so she couldn't hack it...

They needed an alternative. Madi looked up and spotted the ventilation shaft. A grin grew upon her lips. There was no way that they didn't have ventilation in that room, it was clearly for surgery. And this place was meant to be well kept, so they would have been smart enough to put in vents for clean air.

"Alright boys, I've got a plan..."

Oak shrugged. "Good plan. Uh... You sure you can handle yourself in there? You'd be alone, so-"

Oak thought for a moment. They were a bunch of doctors and scientists. What were they gonna do, syringe her to death? He smiled and reloaded one of the guns, tossing one to Isaac and giving each of them a few mags. He nodded to Maddy.

"Good luck. Why don't you, um... Vent out some of your anger."

Oak smiled nervously.

"I really like puns. Okay."

Oak brought Isaac with him by the vent shaft, then knelt and cupped his hands with Isaac and waited for Maddy to jump up into the vent. When that was done, and Maddy attempted to climb the shaft as quietly as she could, Oak smiled and nodded at Isaac.

"Hey! Stand right there!"

Oak raised his gun and fired in the general direction of Isaac, missing by about 45 degrees. He emptied the mag, and reloaded. He pulled out his walkie-talkie and shouted into it.

"Mayday, mayday, we have a bogie by the electric door, all units converge in on-"

Oak grunted as he emptied another mag into a wall.

"Never mind, I got this. There's only one of them."

Oak glared at Maddy, Go! Go!

Isaac nodded as Oak nodded to him. He quickly hid the revolver behind him making it look like he was tied. He didn't need to do anything about looking bloody and scarred, that part had already been done.

Isaac with a sigh as Oak emptied another magazine into a wall *Was that really needed?*

He shook his head and stood infront of the door. Personally he looked like someone who were just taken prisoner.. This plan was either going to be his death.. Or a nice long rest. Both would be good. He kicked the door a few times to get the scientists attention. Another lab rat? Good bring him in! Oh look he has a gun! Isaac shook his head. This has changed him. For better or worse. As Oak got behind him Isaac spat some blood on Oaks face and nodded *realism, kid. Show them your warface* He turned to face the door again. It all depended on them to distract the group in there, and then on Maddy..

Madi crawled through the ventilation shaft, listening to the gunshots coming from the hall. Madi peered through the grate above the room and saw Amy tied down, and saw about seven men. Madi gritted her teeth. Well, here we go.

((OOC: You have been warned))

Madi dropped from the ventilation shaft, latching onto the back of one of the men. He yelled in shock and grabbed at her, but she snapped his neck before he could do anything more than smack her. She leapt off of him and grabbed the nearest sharp object she could find; a scalpel.

That'll do Madi mentally chirped. Madi lunged with her new weapon at the nearest man. He blocked her arm and brought down a syringe on her arm. Before he could inject whatever was inside, Madi kicked up between his legs and then embedded the scalpel in his throat. He gurgled and collapsed, chocking on his own blood.

Madi couldn't contain her gleeful cackle. Why was she getting so thrilled about this? Why was this amusing? She was killing people, stealing away their lives, staining the floors with their life energy, and she was giggling like a toddler ripping paper.

A scientist grabbed Madi from behind and pinned her arms behind her back. She growled like a caged animal and arched her back to smash her head against his nose. A sickening crack echoed from him as he screamed. In his pain, he released his arm and Madi smashed her elbow into his already broken nose. The bone broke further and was sent back into the brain, and he collapsed.

Madi turned to face another man, only to be thrown into the far wall. She cried out in shock rather than pain, and the man pinned her.

"You're a bad, bad girl," He cooed, tracing his finger along her jaw. "Little wh*re. Too bad I can't have fun with you before I kill you. Maybe I can though, just a bit. I'll make ya feel real good."

Madi snarled and swung at him, only for him to slam her against the wall again to quiet her. A ringing began in her ears and she had to blink rapidly to keep her vision clear.

The man kept his hand wrapped around her neck while his other hand began exploring her body. Madi felt sickened but couldn't fight back. When he had slammed her against the wall her arms had been behind her back. She was weaponless, weak, and this man was taking full advantage of that. She felt his rough fingers exploring her, and his mouth on her skin, but none of it registered until-

"Oh no you don't, you perverted b******," Madi hissed. Seeing that her hands were basically pinned behind her back, Madi could merely try to headbutt him. That didn't deter him. Madi began to panic. She screamed and thrashed but couldn't get him away from her. Time seemed to drag on as she fought.

What is he doing?! No! Stop! Stop touching me! Please, get away! Stop! Stop it! GET OFF! Madi resorted to the most cannibalistic means of fighting and bit him on the neck; hard.

The man didn't have time to react as Madi's teeth sunk into his neck, most likely severing an artery. By the time Madi had realized what she had done to attack, the man had collapsed and Madi had a mouthful of flesh and blood. She spat it on the ground. She had just been- No, don't think about it, you have to focus right now. Cry later.

((OOC: Wow, it had to be broken in 2 because it was so long. Oops!))

((OOC: Htiaf, please don't kill me for hurting Madi!))

(Amy won't respond to anything you guys say or do to her. It probably looks like she's sleeping... Or worse, with the smoke still coming off her body.)

Amy could hear Maddy, but not Oak, Isaac, Vicky, or Mido.

She wanted to scream, seeing as electricity was still on.

But despite it all, there was still hope.

I wonder if they got my sample...

Oak cringed as the blood laid on his face. He wasn't sure if all of it was Isaac's. He also wasn't sure if he wanted to find out. The door creaked as Isaac tried to kick it open. Well, presumably to get someone's attention, but the screaming that Maddy had caused, gave Oak reason to believe that the scientists on the other side were preoccupied.

Oak searched his pockets for anything helpful. He found a remote with a big red switch on it. Oak could hear people on the other side of the door, screaming, wanting to be let out.

"I wonder, what's this red button do?" Oak asked himself.

He flicked the switch, and electricity suddenly coursed through the door, shocking whoever was touching the door on the other side. Oak, panicking, quickly turned the switch off and looked at Isaac. He had remained safe from the shocking, but Oak could only imagine the other type of shock that he must be feeling.

"...sorry?" Oak offered.

Isaac heard the screaming, apparently Maddy wasn't the patient type. He was close to hammering the door with his hands when suddenly lightning sparked from the walls. He turned and stare at Oak who timidly said sorry.

Isaac raised his hands to the sky and then lowered them towards Oak. *WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!* He thought..

The doors suddenly opened, without giving it a thought Isaac drew the revolver. Seeing that Maddy had already taken care of a few of the scientist. He smiled. *Good job Maddy* He thoght before raising the revolver and shooting after the last scientists. With an above average marksmanship.

two bullets only grazed one but the last three hit a mark each. Killing two and wounded one.

Isaac threw the pistol away, His hook blades wouldn't be good in such close quarter. So instead Isaac opted for the third option.. Beating the crap out of them with his fists.

Madi rushed to Amy's side, ignoring the scientists, and began working at her bindings.

"Come on, d***it!" She growled. She heard a loud zapping noise all of a sudden and looked up to see electricity arching from the door and smelled burnt flesh as the scientists collapsed. Cringing, Madi crept to the door and unlocked it with a faint click. Madi turned the handle and pulled open the door, not bothering to wipe her mouth of blood. "Welcome to the party, ladies, nice of you to show up."

Oak grinned widely. "Thank you for your hospitality, madame."

Oak charged one of the scientists as Isaac shot a few of them. One of them was only wounded, so Oak cleaned up after Isaac. He raised his pipe and clonked the scientist three times on the head.

"DUDDA DUDDA DUDDA!" Oak triumphantly sang on each whack. He looked up, embarrassed.

"I couldn't come up with a very good Mario one-liner. Still working on it."

Oak glared at the last scientist remaining. He did a head-count; Maddy had taken out three, Isaac shot two, and Oak piped another. There was nobody else left. Oak turned to the team.

"I'll do the honors."

He charged the scientist and pressed the knife against his throat.

"I'd greatly appreciate you telling us everything you know. If you don't, well, I suppose it was
knife to meet you."

Oak pressed it harder, creating an ever-so-slightly small cut on his throat. It was only a matter of time.

Seeing that the situation had been handled, Madi leaned against the wall and slid to the floor, hugging her legs to her chest. She bit her lip and rested her forehead on her knees, closing her eyes in misery as she recalled the man who had-

No! You need to stay strong right now! Your team is relying on you to fight with them, you don't have time to mope!

Still, Madi couldn't help a few tears escaping her eyes.

D***it. D***it all to Hell.

She was ultimately stuck between having a mental breakdown and killing someone. Though the latter she had done plenty of. Speaking of which; Madi shuddered at the taste of metal in her mouth from the blood. What had she become? A killer? A murderer? How could she have done this, when only a little while ago she had hopes for becoming a corrections officer. She hoped to become someone who locked away people like herself. Oh god, what would her father think? Or Jesus? Were they still human anyway?

Thinking of her father and friend made her want to cry harder, so she tried to think of something happier.

Puppies... Kittens... Applie pie... Red... Blood... Gore... Death... Shame... R*pe...

... F*** it.

Isaac mulled. They just killed other human people.. Not pychos..Or.. Is everyone a pycho? Those that already had a disorder were unaffected just because they were infected already? Isaac looked around.. It was a weird feeling to only see half as much. *So.. Tired.. Adrenaline... You arse..

I do believe I've lost more blood that acceptable by human standards... Or .. Something like that...* Isaac smiled, *Death by bloodloss.. What a misery to go out.. Rather want some explosions in the background..* He fell down to his knees *Sorry..* and keeled over.

Mido rushed in the door to the lab. Isaac was on the floor, kneeling down. And he had not been hard to find. A trail of blood had lead Mido straight to the chaos, not counting in the bodies of several people, or whatever they were. "Damn you bastard, i am not gonna loose you. Of all people you had to go ahead and bleed out." Mido rushed to him and examined the wounds. He tore more pieces of his shirt and stopped them in the two holes. One in the stomach and one in the empty eye hole. He then stood up fast, checking every shelf every table. There had to be something usable, and so he found some equipment. Tweezers, scalpels, disinfectant spirit, surgical staplers. "Shit shot shit, there is no bags of blood. We need to fill out the veins or this will be futile." Mido said running to Isaac and placed a hand on his forehead. "Fuck, he is damned hot! Get some ice or a wet towel or SOMETHING!"

Mido forced down the delusional Isaac, and mumbled "I am sorry man. I am so, so sorry." and picked up Isaac. He staggered towards the place where Amy once were held captive, and strapped Isaac down. "This is for your own sake Isaac." Mido said while putting the straps on Isaac There were two on each arm, one on each lag and a final around the chest. Mido looked at Isaac with pity before tearing open Isaacs shirt (remember i have basically no shirt on neither. Picture that for a moment. Or don't i really discourage that.) "Good thing you feel no pain." Mido said and started washing off some of the blood on Isaacs Belly around the hole. Swiftly Mido aplied some disinfectant along with Betadine around the wound. Slowly Mido cut open a straight line in Isaacs belly, on top of the bullet hole, and slowly pulled it apart. The blood started slowly coming out of the wound, but not as close to the dripping before. "Shit we need to do something and FAST. Someone grab a large bucket and pour in some water and mix around two big spoonful salt in it. and do it FAST." Mido was really stressed out by this situation.

Madi heard Mido start barking out orders and nodded. She quickly found a floor map and found that there was a kitchen down the hall. Sprinting as fast as she could, she nearly slammed headfirst into the door frame as she scrambled in. How many buckets did he need? S*** S*** S***

Madi grabbed two buckets, filled them with water, and got a spoon to measure out two spoons worth of salt into each. She hauled them back to the room, set them down, and then ran back to find ice and rags. She filled another bucket with ice and made a small "aha!" sound when she found a... well, it looked like a little wagon to her. She hauled the bucket in and then filled more buckets with more clean water, another with more ice, and another with salt water. Dragging the wagon back to the infirmary, Madi pulled it over to Mido.

"How's that?" She asked. Without waiting for a reply, she stood on Isaac's other side and bit her lip hard enough that she couldn't tell if the blood on her mouth was her's or her attackers.

Oak almost threw up right then and there as Mido's hands seemed to stutter and he barked instructions, and all of a sudden Isaac's stomach was open. He looked back at the scientist he had held hostage. Oak shrugged.

"Actually, let me get back to you," he managed to say, voice cracking in horror.

Oak punched him really hard with the butt of the knife, but the scientist stayed conscious. Hollywood Lie #8: No matter how strong you punch someone, you need a few more punches to take them out. Oak was glad, though; in hindsight, if they had just knocked him out, that would have caused problems. Now the scientist was even more disoriented. Oak tied up him up to a pillar with some rope that was handy nearby. (OoC: How convenient.)

Oak then turned to Isaac on the table. He looked more like a zombie than some of the Psychos out on the street. His face was basically painted with blood, and each breath seemed to kill him more. Oak refused to even look at the stomach.

He turned and saw Maddy frantically helping. Oak grit his teeth so hard, he felt his jaw swell. He needed to be helpful. When Maddy had finished, Oak approached Mido.

"Mido, what else do you need?"

"Small tubes and a bog needle for said tubes. Think you can find that Oak?" Mido said trying to keep a hold of Isaacs stomach while still trying to get a hold on reality. Why had it come to this? He at least had proper tools around, but still, he was just a Second year Medical student.

Mido snapped back. and started looking into the wound. "Fuck, i think it may have hit his stomach, i will need to go deeper into this matter." Mido said and grabbed his new found companion, the scalpel. With it, he made a small incision and made sure not to touch anything inside of Isaac. Mido took one heavy breath and dug into the intestince, and softly pushed each undamaged, away. "Good, good, nothing is badly damaged, only a few have been grazed." He said with a calm voice and made an opening the the stomach, a nice little hole in the top of it, nothing flowing out of the punctured organ. Mido carefully opened the the wound just enough to see through. It had only penetrated one side of it. That was good.

Mido pulled out the surgical stapler, and carefully closed the wound on the stomach. Mido wiped some sweat of his brow with his bloody sleeve, only painting his forehead red with the blood of Isaac. But he seemed to be too concentrated in his work to actually care about that. After he had made sure that the damaged organ was ok, Mido pulled the intestine around it ones more and slowly closed the wound on Isaacs belly. "One down one to go, Isaac said panting. He was close to a breakdown by now, that was clear. He had just used 30 minutes carefully stitching a mans stomach together without the proper training. And no preparation neither.

Madi remained surprisingly calm throughout the operation, watching Mido's every move. She took to the task of keeping cool rags on Isaac's forehead as Mido worked, remembering how the doctor had said something about how he was burning up. Madi felt horrible. She had promised not to leave him, and when she allowed him to come with her this is what happened. She should've made him stay with Mido. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad then. Madi smiled meekly and brushed Isaac's hair away from his eyes... well, eye.

I'm not leaving,
She thought to herself as if it would be heard by Isaac. It's going to be alright. Remember, I said Mido would fix you. Now we just need for this to finish up and then we can find somewhere safe.

Oak sprinted to the cabinets, shuffling through the piles of medical tools. He had no idea what was what and Oak was thirty percent sure that, at on point, he knocked over a jar of acid. Finally, he found some needles that hadn't been doused by the acid and some relatively small tubes. Unfortunately, Oak had no idea whether or not those tubes were small enough. They would have to do. Some gloves, which Oak thought redundant but nonetheless important. And an icebox. Huh.

Oak threw it open and looked inside. A heart. Ugh. And next to it, two bags of blood. Oak almost squealed. Oak ran back to Mido and shoved the needles onto the surgeon's table nearby, then rattled the bags of blood in his face.

"Blood! I found blood!" Oak looked at Isaac. "Do we know his blood type? Don't we need to know that? Just.... I don't know! There might be more in the back..!"

Oak sprinted back to the cupboards to find some more blood. Oh, this was bad, Isaac is definitely going to die...

Madi replaced the cool rag on Isaac's forehead again, and slowly began realizing something. Amy was still on the floor... And no one was tending to her...

Realizing that fretting over Isaac wasn't actually helping, Madi walked over to Amy and pulled her to the side out of the blood puddles. She frowned when a spark jumped from her skin and zapped her. What the...? How does one treat electrocution?

Last edited by a moderator:
Amy could feel someone pulling her to the side, and was slightly annoyed. Why the heck didn't they get to that sooner?! The hands were warm and thin... Maddy?

Amy struggled to open her eyes, but the drug was still in her system. Angrily, she clenched her fist(tried to) and inwardly cringed as she felt Maddy jump back. Oops.

She tensed as a strand of electricity ran down her face.

Madi frowned as Amy seemed to be struggling to move. What kind of drug did the dose her up on? Probably the same thing they tried to inject her with. Speaking of injection; Madi glanced to her arm and saw a ting stream of blood running down her arm. Oh. Madi got up and began looking around for the syringe they had stabbed her with. She thankfully found it and read the label. Or at least tried to, it made no sense to her .

Madi turned on her heal and walked back to Amy, crouching down beside her. She couldn't do too much for her. The least she could do was get the blood off of her from being placed on the floor, and from being attacked in general. Madi grabbed a rag from the bucket of ice water and rung it out, wiping the blood off of Amy's skin.

Amy's eyes flew open after about four minutes of Maddy cleaning her off.

She looked at Maddy, still unable to move anything but her eyelids. Just by looking at her eyes, it was obvious that she was in pain.

Madi saw Amy's eyelids flutter open and she smiled reassuringly. It was clear that she was in pain, but she couldn't do anything about that seeing as she didn't even know what was really wrong. Was it the electricity or the tranquilizing liquid. Madi sighed.

"Hey, Amy. I don't know if you can understand me right now. But it's going to be okay. Mido is fixing up Isaac and then he'll take a look at you, alright?" Madi said. Now are you convincing her or yourself?
