Fantasy Mediums - magic school for summoners

OverconfidentMagi OverconfidentMagi Sorry, still working on the character. IC part of the CS is taking a while because there's so much content I want to include but it's getting a little cluttered with the detail.

(Looks at notes containing a dozen possible variations of the planned storyline covering the first semester of the story, the 30+ fully fleshed out characters to use for NPC students, bank of 100+ materials and forms to pull from, full notes on teaching material covering mediums and summoning for the first 3 semesters, and pages of diagrams covering the mechanics of magic for mediums in relation to other types of magic users. Why do I do this.)

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I can relate.

So that things can get rolling a bit, I'm going to close this RP to new players that haven't already shown their interest. We've got quite a few players, enough that the RP should be able to survive even if a few players go ghost.

The medium and form of the summon are completely arbitrary. There generally isn't any reason why a summon is what it is. Having both the medium and shape be directly related to the character is a bit much.

Aside from that, the character is good. You're free to post IC since the actual summons won't come into play for a while.

If they are completely arbitrary I could always switch the medium and the summon. I know it was a bit much to relate my character with the summon and medium so, I could work it to say that when they begin to learn how to summon and what medium they could work with, glass wouldn't be the obvious choice. Instead his summon and medium would be different.
More like, the medium would be Stone and the summon would be a Stag.

You're free to change everything about the summon up until it's summoned for the first time IC, which is why I'm not concerned about the medium too much when accepting characters.

If possible try to get something up within the next day. I'd like to be able to move the IC forward without leaving anyone behind.

She is accepted. I would write up the usual character review, but my laptop's off for the night and I hate typing anything long via mobile, so that'll have to wait until until morning.

Okay, I know I said I'd do a full review, but there isn't much for me to say. Rereading through it again, I just really like the character. Her situation and family is interesting, and like a few other characters so far, I'm looking forward to knowing what will happen when the first vacation where students return home rolls around.

I'll take a break from figuring out what I do and don't want Sadako to talk about to finish filling out the last of the lost pages to see how the characters judge her.
