Realistic or Modern Medieval Europe

Greg's eyes opened from his slumber. The air was cold, but not the normal cold that he had known. It was different, a little less cold and more ominous. He could feel something, but couldn't tell what it was. He walked out onto the porch that he had connected to his room. He took a long smell of the air. "Daniel, Summon some people for a search party."He said loud enough for his man servant daniel to hear.

After a hour or so a big search party was gathered. Greg stood above them all, he paced back and forth.
"I thank you all for coming on short notice. I have asked you here to search a part of the forest. I have a feeling there is someone there." He pointed at the door. "Go search, search and find something. You'll be paid handsomely." He said as they rushed out of the Throne room.

After a couple hours worth of searching they happened upon a Black horse with a body near it. They scooped up the girl and took the horse by the reigns and took them to the castle.

(Time skip a couple days?)

(Yeah sounds good :D )

Four days full of darkness and confusion, Adelisa's eyes fluttered open to the sight of a high ceiling. Her head ached horribly. She hardly remembered what had happened. It was so sudden. Unexpected. Placing a hand onto her forehead, Adelisa sat up and leaned forward. She dropped her arm, glancing around the room with a confused look. She wasn't at her brother's castle. It was some place unfamiliar to her eyes.

Attempting to stand up, her toes barely grazed the floor before she let out a loud groan of pain. Adelisa felt so vulnerable, in this strange castle. It frightened her slightly.

Greg was sitting in a chair, just out of her view on the other side of the room. "Don't move. You fell off of your horse, and hit your head. You need to stay in bed until your head gets better." He said as he got up and walked over to her bedside. "I've missed you." He said giving her a reassuring hug. "I am glad to see you, but why have you come here? The war is still going on. I have sent a letter to your brother, asking to meet on neutral ground in Belgium about ending this war."

It was just then, when she heard Greg's voice from the corner of the room. Her eyes grew wide, mouth agape. She... She couldn't believe it. Adelisa felt her lungs tighten, making it hard to breathe just as he began walking towards her. Not being able to hold back anymore, she burst into tears as he hugged her. After almost a minute, the princess contained herself a little more. Sniffling, Adelisa pulled away a bit.

"I wasn't getting any letters from you... I was worried something had happened." She whispered. Staring at him, her blue eyes were almost pleading. Greg would be meeting with her brother soon. Knowing Leon, she didn't know if he would be outraged, or be calm about the situation and talk it out with her later.

"That's weird, I sent you a letter a couple weeks ago, and a week ago. Maybe they hadn't made there way to your brother." He said as he sat down next to her. He put one of his arms around her. "Yes. I was a little worried. I missed having you in my arms, and I couldn't wait for you to be back in my arms again."

"I guess they didn't." Adelisa murmured, her voice soft and quiet. She wouldn't dare tell him Leon was burning his letters to her. Not in a time like this, when the war was about end so soon. But, she couldn't stand hiding it from him. Balling her fists up in her lap, Adelisa looked up as he put an around her. She felt warmth lift her heart as they sat there together. Too long, she waited to be with him again. And now here she was.

"Greg." She said, her voice beginning to grow serious. Meeting his gaze, her eyes filled with sorrow.

"He burned your letters to me... All of them." Her eyes lingered on his face, awaiting to see some sort of betrayed expression or anger.

Greg's arm tensed up, only for a second before he let it go. Gregory was furious, but didn't want to show it in front of Adelisa. "All that matters is that you're here now. That's all I care about... He could burn everything I write to you. You're here right now and that's all I care about." He said kissing her passionately. He put his other arm around her.

After a moment he pulled away.
"You need to get some rest.... And I have a few kingly things that I must take care of."

Adelisa felt the slight tense of Greg's arm, but only for a sliver of a second as he relaxed. Glancing up, a smile spread across her lips as he spoke to her. His lips touched hers, and almost immediately, Adelisa felt her heart skip a beat. It became passionate in seconds, making her face blush and her head begin to throb. As he pulled away, her lips were parted slightly, trying to hold herself back from pressing her lips against his once more.

"Okay, mon amour." Adelisa smiled, sliding her hand across the side of his face and bringing him closer.

"Will I be seeing you later after you are done with you're... Kingly business, monsieur?" She leaned towards the side of his neck, planting a kiss or two under his jawline.

Gregory stayed there for a few seconds, as she kissed him. Her lips were soft, almost orgasmic. Gregory wished he could stay there, but he had a responsibility to his people, and it wouldn't be right for him to become like his father after only five days as king. He smiled at her. "Of course, Mon cher." He said back to her.

He got up and walked out the door, with his robe following. He walked down the Marble staircase into the main foyer. There were sculptures of past kings. Most of them Gregorys ancestors. He arrived at the throne room and and sat down on the throne.

There were two groups of people there, a couple of shop owners and a couple of Royal guards.

"These people are Charged with rallying the loyalist to aid the old king. What would you have there punishment be my liege?" A guard said bowing.

"Nothing... The old king is gone, and the new King is here. Forgive and forget." He got up and walked walked down to the bottom of the staircase to look them in they eye. "Please do not aid my father. He might have given you money, and work. But he was killing this nation, I can save it, and your business will flourish."He said putting a reassuring hand on their shoulder.

A couple of hours had passed before he had gotten a chance to go back to Adelisa. He walked through the door and took off his cape and laid down on the bed.
"I could use a nap."

(I'm just gonna leave this rp. I'm so far behind, so bye.)

Adelisa's icy gaze followed Greg's backside, as he began to leave the room. She smiled to herself. He was a great man, and had become such a good kind in so little of time. Running her hands over the silky bed sheets she curled under, Adelisa let out a small yawn. Her head began throbbing again, as if begging her to fall asleep. Laying her head against the fluffy pillow, the French princess's eyes began to flutter shut slowly, until she had fallen into a deep sleep.

After a few hours or so had passed, Adelisa felt a warm body lay down on the bed, causing the sudden movement to wake her. Blinking sleepily, her eyes settled on Greg. Shifting a bit closer to him, Adelisa nestled her head onto his chest, and sighed softly.

"Go to sleep my king. You need the extra rest." She whispered, the warmth from his body causing her to begin falling asleep once more.

Greg fell asleep right beside her. His arm draped over her midriff. While he dreamed he had a vision. He saw something to the north. He saw a village. Then another, then another. All of them had a mass crowd gathered around the center. Most of them were wearing fur or leather. He shot up from sleeping, breathing heavy, and in a cold sweat. He had a nightmare.

Edited.

(Hey guys. I'm going to be missing for a little while. So, I'm going to put Amalie into a deep sleep. She's not dead, But sleeping.)

(Okay!

:D We will be waiting for you're return!)

Ayrenn fell asleep around the same time Greg did, her head resting on his chest. She breathed softly and steadily, shifting every few minutes in her sleep. The world outside was dark, except for the milky moon that hung in the sky. It was no longer a crescent shape, but more of a half moon now. It shone brightly through the window next to the grand bed, illuminating Adelisa and Greg's complexions. Then, all of a sudden, Adelisa jolted awake as Greg shot up in his sleep. The princess lifted her head from off his chest.

"What's wrong?" She exclaimed, her blue eyes filling with worry.

Gregory looked around the room, still panting. He was looking for something. When he heard Adelisa's voice it took him back into reality. "Just a dream which felt like a nightmare."He said looking around the room one last time before laying back down. "I saw villages to the north.. They were gearing up for something... But I don't know what it was."He wrapped his hand around her.

"I wonder what it could mean..." The French princess murmured quietly, nestling her head against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, making Adelisa smile warmly. Greg seemed unsettled, and not like himself. She had a strange feeling his dream meant something... A vision or sign of some sort. Blinking her icy eyes rapidly in thought, she looked towards Greg and leaned forward. Glancing down at his lips, Adelisa pressed hers against his, and held them there. Her heart began to pound faster and faster as she increased the passion of the kiss. Breaking away but still hovering her face inches away from his, she leaned towards the side of his neck. Opening her mouth slightly, she sunk one of her canine teeth into his neck carefully and teasingly. Releasing from his neck, she smiled with a mischievous look on her face.

Greg put his arm around her and sighed. He had a feeling that things were going to go downhill from there. She kissed him. It was a nice turn from all of his new found responsibilities. Her icy eyes were more of a warm gaze. That was one of the things that he liked about her. She moved away only to start teasing him. He meet her smile and gave her a devious smile right back. "You know I never formally welcomed you to England." He said as he pulled her close.

Adelisa smiled, staring into his eyes with a mischievous look in them. Before he had time to say anything else, she pressed her lips against his, this time harder. Swinging her knee over him, she sat on top of him while kissing him more and more passionately. Stopping for a moment to regain her breath, she gazed at him for a moment, before diving right back in.

Some time passed.

Greg was laying in bed right next to Adelisa. His body was shaking. "Oh how I've missed you." He said as he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. He hadn't been with her for a month and a half. "Will you become my Queen?" He said still in that blissful state.

Adelisa lay next to him, her heart beginning to calm down and her breath lessening. With a hand placed on his bare chest, the French princess smiled as he kissed her on the cheek.

"Will you become my Queen?" She suddenly heard him say, making her smile widen. Shifting closer against him, she rested her head on his shoulder.

"Of course, mon amour." She murmured, closing her eyes in relaxation.

He pulled her into a hug. "Oh mon cher. You don't know how happy you've made me."He cared about he so much, and he loved her as much as anyone ever could. Both kingdoms would prosper from the marriage. He knew that her brother liked him, but he didn't really meet her parents if she had any. "I think we should make it official. Later today we will announce it to the world."He said as he kissed her.

A light blush appeared on Adelisa's face as Greg pulled her in for another kiss. She had never felt so happy in her life. She almost felt like she could burst into tears. It was amazing to think this was how far they'd come now.

"It seemed like just yesterday I had met you in the marketplace," She whispered as she laid her head down on his chest.

"And now... Look where we are." Leaning in for one more quick kiss, the princess froze when she heard the sound of someone knocking on the door. Whoever it was, came in. Adelisa hardly had any of the blankets covering her. With a bright red face, she gripped the edge of the blanket and concealed her body under it.

"I also remember that you took me in an alleyway with your blade pressed to my throat." He said with a light chuckle.

Greg glanced over to see Matthew, one of Greg's councils of war. "Terrible sorry for the sudden intrusion m'lord, but the council seeks your presence in their chambers as soon as possible."

Greg nodded at Matthew. "I will be right out."

Matthew stepped outside and waited for Greg.

Greg got out of the bed and got dressed a little.
"I'm sorry mon cher, but the duties of a king requires me... I will return and we shall go from there."

(Just watching and trying to figure out when would be the best time to wake up Amalia.)
