Master and Neko

Chiko began imagining George in this tree, but he couldn't even imagine the old man climbing up here. Of course it wasn't impossible and the man was clearly strong managing to do all the chores alone, but he simply couldn't think of George sitting on the branch they were sitting on right now... It just felt off. He had never seen such a large outdoor area, except from the forest, but she owned this all for herself. "Work?" Chiko asked her, as an idea struck his head like lighting, and the entire neko seemed to light up. "Can I help?" He asked her, wanting to help her a bit out since she had helped him a lot too.

Smiling at him Angel rubbed his hair and chuckled as he purred, "Remember yesterday? I am a private vet for those who want it."

Beginning to climb down Angel looked up at him, "I can use your help setting up the clinic. I need to set up the clinic before everyone comes cause it can get pretty busy really quickly."

Hoping down the last bit Angel's ribbon got snagged and her was let to fall down. Surprised she tried to reach her ribbon but she couldn't.

"Ummm, Chiko do you mind?"

"Of course, I'll help you!" Chiko said as he felt he could repay her back somewhat with helping her a bit out, being a vet had to be hard. However it did explain her affection for animals, it felt weird yesterday with so many humans and so many animals being gathered in one place, disappearing during half an hour. She must be working very hard at the very least. Chiko saw Angel's ribbon and swiftly grabbed it, while doing a little flip as he was playing a bit around with his agile body. "Here," he said with a smile, handing over the ribbon as he waited for Angel to lead the way, he had no clue how she worked after all, and barely knew what a vet was in the first place.

Taking the ribbon Angel smiled thankfully at him and gave him another rub on the head, "Follow me Chiko!"

Humming 'Wizard of OZ' Angel marched towards the very front entrance of the mansion and led him into the room beside the main door and opened the windows wide open allowing the fresh air to enter and sighed happily.

"Just grab some of those and these and..."

Handing several different objects Angel showed Chiko how to use them and such.

Chiko did as he was told as he tried to remember everything that Angel told him, but it was a lot of information right away and did a couple of wrongs, but quickly found out what they were and changed it straight away, but then he was uncertain if that was right. A couple of the items he was given was familiar as he thought he had stolen it once in the past, once or twice or more. Chiko practiced a bit on how to use them after Angel showed him, demonstrating a bit on himself as he was half cat after all. He was curious how she learned all of this, but then again, she did seem quite energetic and had more than enough energy to do this and probably running a marathon.

Soon many different people arrived with their pets and the day went by quickly. At around 1 o'clock the flow stopped and Angel began to close up the clinic. Looking over at Chiko she gave him a big hug.

"You did so well today! You were like a natural!"

Releasing him from her hug Angel smiled at gave him two hand rub on his head. Not sure wether or not he liked it Angel waited to hear his purrs.

Chiko managed to pull through even though he was sometimes given weird gazes by some of the humans, as he could more or less talk with their cats to tell them what was wrong. It was far harder than actually running and jumping from house roofs, but it felt nice to help her out like this too. Once she began closing, Angel leaped over to give him a hug. His face lit up red as he began to purr instantly, and couldn't stop himself as he tried his best to make them as quiet as possible. Once Angel began rubbing his head, he let the purr become louder as they did really feel nice.

Happy that he was happy Angel gave one more rub before going back outside and laying on the soft grass.

"Ah! It is time for lunch! I am so hungry after all of that work..."

Lumbering towards the lunch table Angel walked over and plumped herself onto the seat losing the last bit of grace that she had in the process. Coming out of the kitchen George placed the food on the table and sat down himself. Looking at Chiko beside her Angel smiled as she grabbed her sppon and began to dig into the leftover mashed potato from yesterday. Humming as she ate Angel smiled happily as she always did.

I wonder if she knows what rest is... Chiko thought to himself as a joke as she seemed so full of energy and life as he only let out a small chuckle. He watched how she used her spoon before he tried it himself, it took him a couple of turns before it looked like he actually knew what he was doing, but he felt incredibly proud as he was actually eating with utensils! He did it! Or... he did at least learn one of the utensils the humans used. He smiled proud of himself as he continued to eat the leftovers.

Watching Chiko eat with a spoon Angel clapped happily and smiled, "Good job Chiko!"

George even gave him a somewhat of a congratulations with his nod and the tiniest of smiles. I am glad that he is trying but I hope he isn't forcing himself... Finishing of her bowl George grabbed Chiko's and Crystal's bowls before retreating into the kitchen once again. Looking over at Chiko, Angel smiled at him.

"Do you have anywhere you would like to visit? We have a music room, a ball room, a library, a study room..." Looking at Chiko Angel waited for his response

(I am going to bed good night!)

Chiko was a bit surprised at both of them congratulating him, as he only smiled a bit embarrassed as he finished his meal. Once it was finished George took the plates as usually and disappeared into the kitchen. "You have all that?" Chiko asked surprised as he didn't understand why he had never stolen or attempted to steal here at least once, was he really so unaware of where this place was? He hadn't seen it before after all. "Hm... the music room sounds interesting," Chiko said with a smile, as he was a bit excited. He only knew how to play the flute, but he was happy with what he managed to do.

(Sweet dreams! :D )

Hopping up Angel smiled at Chiko and grabbed his hand, "Than off we go!"

Taking him through the maze of her house Angel stopped in front of two grand doors, "Here we are!"

Opening te two doors Angel showed Chiko the contents of what laid inside.

(SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY!!!!!)

(Nah it's fine. I got good patience ^-^)

Chiko's hand is once again was im Angel's hand and he blushed a bit. As she was impulsive she dragged him through the many corridors who looked the same, except a few paintings here and there. He tried his best to try and remember where they were going, but failed as he couldn't even keep up halfway.

Once they arrived at the Grand doors, Angel opened it up and aa Chiko knew the girl waa rich he never expected this much. It was a HUGE room dedicated to instruments of all kinds, curiosity won over him and he began examining all the instruments with great interest.

Angel smiled as she watched Chiko go from one instrument to another examining them with great detail. She had never had to worry about people stealing the instruments due to the fact that everyone believed that the castle was cursed but she still took care of the instruments making sure to take time each week to look at each of their conditions which could take a very long time indeed. Finally looking up from the one instrument she had been looking at Angel walked over to Chiko.

"Do you want to play something? You are welcome to," Angel smiled at Chiko hoping that he would play something for her.

(Well! We are even now for the waiting part! I was drowned in notification that this one didn't show up xD )

Chiko was too distracted noticing Angel walk up to him, as he was usually more careful of his surrounding, but had let his guard down as her sweet voice entered his ear. Looking over to her, as he really wanted to play on the flute he had found, he smiled. "I'll take you up on that offer then! But I'm not really good..." Chiko apologizes in advance as he begins playing a soothing calm and almost a bit sad melody, as it was a lullaby he learned as a child.

Angel smiled as he looked at the flute happily and began to play it. So beautiful... Like a lullaby... Angel closed her eyes and smiled and swayed with the tune. She soon started dancing around the room along to the tune.

Chiko chuckles as he finished the melody, as he had secretly glanced up to peek at Angel dancing around. It was obvious why she got lonely in a big mansion like this, but he was very curious about how she ended up living her alone, or her and George. Where was her parents? What about her human friends? He wanted to ask, but didn't want to make her remember anything that would take away her smile, he had grown so fond of it after all. "Can you play something? A melody for a melody?" Chiko asked curiously as he gently placed the flute back where he had found it, fighting the urge to steal it as Angel was watching him after all.

As the melody slowed down Angel came to a stop and finally opened her eyes to a smiling Chiko. Smiling back at him she walked over to the grand piano and sat down. Slowly withord she began to play a melody very similar to what Chiko had just played and began to sing in a soft voice to the piano.

Chiko followed her with his eyes, looking over at the grand piano as she sat down. The melody, or at least a similar one, entered the entire room again ans quickly filles it with its sooth and calming sound. Chiko closed his eyes to listen and enjoy the melody as Angel began to sing, he had never heard the lyrics of this song, but as he guessed, most melodies have a lyrics somewhere. Angel's singing voice suited her name all too well, as in Chiko's ears it was as an angel was singing for him right now.

As she finished Angel sat still for a moment and sighed. I haven't played since father... Remembering something she probably shouldn't have Angel shook her head and ruffled her hair, leaving it in it's bird nest state. Don't think... Just look at Chiko and forget... Turning to face Chiko she tried to ignore the pain in her heart.

Once the music stopped Chiko opened his eyes and saw the state of Angel's hair, and laughed as he walked over to her trying to gently pet it back down to a seemingly more normal state. He did see the sadness in her eyes, but thought that the best way to cheer her up was pretending he didn't see, as those eyes was wasted with such sadness. "You know... your hair is worse than my fur on a bad day," Chiko remarked as he kept trying to pet it down, but her hair was almost more stubborn than him, as it refused to lie back down.

Staring at Chiko she watched him walk over to her and began to pat down her hair. Closing her eyes Angel felt the stroking on her head as Chiko tried to pat down her stubborn hair strands. Sighing she hugged him around the waist that was in front of her and sighed again.

Chiko looked down at Angel as she hugged him, and nervous purrs began the second they got this close contact. He usually never let anyone touch him that easily.... was he beginning to be tamed by Angel's kindness? He shook the thought out of his head, as Angel sighed, breathing into his stomach as he fought to not laugh. "Y- Y okay?" Chiko asked Angel as he shyly put his arms around her, his cheeks lit up and he looked out the wins is, just to avoid any awkward eye contact with Angel.

Sighing again, Angel felt his stomach laugh and shook her head, "Just let me stay like this for a little while."

She wanted to forget. To forget everything. To forget all of the sad things in her life. To forget... But she didn't want to forget anyone. She didn't want to lose herself. Chuckling Angel snuggled against Chiko. I am so greedy...

Chiko's purrs continued as he looked down at her, and then quickly back out the window as he felt it was a bit weird for him to stand like that, doing absolutely nothing. "S- Sure!"Chiko answered Angel as she snuggled into his stomach, his purrs increased in sound as she did as he had no way od holding them back, and he wasn't sure id the purrs were there because he was nervous, or just to cover up the sound that came from his chest.
