The Silent Z The Silent Z How 1:1 should the counterparts be? By that I mean do I have to hit all the backstory beats, be named Sara, etc etc or do I have free reign as long as it fits the spirit of the original backstory?
The Ryder's are pretty much like they were in the game with some differences, such as first name and what all they may have done in the alliance. I mean Sara was more of science twin who had experience with prothean locations and scott was the military branch who guarded mass effect relays, but the exact details beyond that are somewhat limited and can leave room for you there. It doesn't have to be a copy and paste Ryder by no means, but some details will be necessary.
 
Cool, cool. Mind if I do some finangling to the look of the CS template? And do I still put down a class or something else since Ryder uses the Profile system?

No issues there, just the information requirements is necessary. So adjusting the look or adding additional info is fine with me.

For Ryder, nah, its not required since they have the Profile system.
 
Well I finally actually finished the game, alright except for some still broken quests, Cora's completely immobile face and ffs the Archon is just about the most horrendously bad antagonist they could have possibly made.

Cool on the game finishing part. Unfortunate on the broken quests issue, I've run into some problems from time to time with broken quests or weird issues with characters and other things. Like whole characters being invisible on screen and can't be heard yet the scene carries out as if it were normal. My Ryder's head being complete horror movie esque with it turning all the way around with a twisted neck and looking behind him as he talks to Jaal at the cultural center on one of the topics of conversation, each time I reach it even with new playthroughs still have it happen.

But anyways, Archon was a frustrating part for me, I get all the way to the end and am not allowed to kill the guy and get a few shots in? Horrible ending to a fight. He wasn't too bad for me as the antagonist until the ending and then I was disappointed with him.

Voeld was a particular pain, there's one where I literally can't talk with an npc and another where I was supposed to kill a set amount of remnant but one either didn't spawn or fell through the world.

Final fight was also irritating since I somehow managed to not hit an event trigger to start raising some platforms to cross a gap and had to run around until I finally ran into it. More irritating was the Archon's dialogue harping on about being rivals for some reason or other, then saying that everything bad that ever happened was my fault as if he wasn't going to kill everyone or whatever anyway and then saying "NO MORE MERCY!" as if he hadn't been trying to kill us for the past ten hours. There's no tired cliche he didn't hit and there's nothing original about him.

Also it did feel very Halo with the whole 'psychopathic alien trying to get precursor tech has to use humans as a go-between because only they can use it'.

Voeld can be irritating. Somehow the nomad ended up inside the vault with me atop one of the pillars I needed and wouldn't move even after a initial reload, also had moments being stuck in that same vault, had to exit and reload multiple times before being able to complete the vault and then had minor issues after the vault that eventually ended, but felt like I had to almost restart the whole thing over again. But not being able to talk to a npc on voeld sounds familiar I always get it during that medical cache supply mission, the woman angara at the Daar cache drop who's injured takes forever before I can get around to talking to her despite having taken out all the enemies nearby.

Cliches unfortunately happen, I've moved past it myself after playing a few different games and finding the same types of antagonists with similar and tired lines.

Never played halo much, except for multiplayer with friends years ago. So that part I never would have felt since didn't play through that game.
 
Had to do some moving in the past two days, and I'm finalizing some stuff now, but tomorrow I should get something up.

Do aspects of our ocs need to overlap with their canon counterparts? Like, does my krogan need to know/be related to Kesh on the nexus still?

In specific to your krogan OC- No they don't have to be related. And while I won't enforce them knowing Kesh, cause it's not really a "Have-To" situation. But I'd be surprised if they were on the nexus and did not know Kesh to some extent, just cause it seems unlikely to my mind.
 
Posted my work in progress. All I need is to finish up the personality, but that's really just an extended explanation on why Sara needs a nap.
 
You kept the name of Sara, hey? Unexpected but ok, it's looking good from what I can see so far. Cinereous Cinereous

Since I never got around to explaining it yet allow me to provide a brief explanation now: The Loyalty section is actually going to be like DA's companion loyalty scale so when we all have the names and ocs available to see, you'll want to place their names and on a scale of 0-100 the relationship status/loyalty status with each team member. Where they each start off is likely 50 but if you have cause to start them off differently such as a bit lower or higher due to prior experience with each other or due to personality clashing and the like then so it shall be.

Just a FYI.

Also I received a pm from ladyofstars the other day and she will be dropping her three roles of Cora, Jaal & Gil. Leaving them open for any who might be interested I've also updated and bumped the interest check thread. I additionally removed Wasted ink from the OP as well since he's been gone from RPN since the 20th of august. If he returns and still wants in and can be active, I'll discuss with him the options. But as of now he's not in claim of any roles at this time.

However we could use some Intel like who's still in and who's dropping.... It appears Cin, Dreawin are still in and I assume RikuXIII RikuXIII is just waiting on the rest of us, correct? But what about you guys, IG42 IG42 Rotix Rotix Epiphany Epiphany ?
 
Still in as krogan. Cs is about 50%. Contracted a sinus infection so I'm a little groggy. But, I'm still game.
