"Is it?" Alex asks and he grabs a large branch to block the axe, but it's cut in two "Fuck." he mumbles, holding his arm "Does this look fucking fake to you?!" he asks, his arm got scraped and it bleeding a bit.

Atreus puts her down once they got there and he dismisses the magic he placed in that area."There that's done." He sighed at the tear on his pants fro, his leg getting caught."These clothes don't seem very durable..." He mumbled.

Thalia sighed at the two of them and just started walking away from them.

Brooklyn tries to think "i mean the farthest back I can think is hydra. i didn't really have an anger problem before that as far as I know but i mean the human brain only starts retaining memories at like age 6." she was trying to switch the topic because she hated talking about the past. "as for punching victoria she made me very upset as well." she stated

"And that's exactly why we're going to talk about it including whatever happened with Hydra." Bruce deadpans at her.

Victoria sighs and she asks "You okay? With your foot getting stuck and all that.", she sits down on a log and looks at the fire.

Alex rolls his eyes, dragging John back to the camp where he goes to gets some bandages got his arm, it wasn't deep, but it was bleeding pretty badly.

Atreus nods at that."I'm okay don't worry." He smiled at her."Are you? And you don't happen to know a sowing spell do you?" He asks her.

Thalia brings over some ointment and bandages to assist Alexander with the wound on his arm."Let's try to be more careful." She helps him out.

brooklyn felt scared and panicked "i don't want to talk about it. I-i'm not ready!" she had a few flashbacks as her hands were shaking and she had some trouble breathing."p-please sir i really can't!" she begged.

A month after the camping trip ended Fury has the group meet him at the quinjet, telling them to suit up for cold weather and he's patiently waiting for the group of heroes, he had, with hesistation, accepted that Brooklyn come too on the mission.

Victoria's pulling on her boots and she she wraps the scarf around herself, shrinking the cane and she runs off towards the quinjet, she could have used magic, but she already had the outfit in her closet, far in the back though, so she had decided against that. She makes sure her book and can are secured on her belt before walking over to Fury.

Alex is counting his arrows and he puts his bow on his back after closing the quiver, heading to the area where they're supposed to meet and he gives Victoria a wave, his outfit wasn't that different from usual, just warmer materials.

Atreus was standing outside, he wasn't dressed any different except for snow boots since the cold didn't bother him so he was probably the first to be ready he just didn't go over there.

Thalia had to get some snow clothes as she didn't have any, she didn't like how restricting these snow clothes could be either but she trudged outside and brought with her a scarf.

john was wearing a normall home made costume since he doest really get too cold , all the movement heats him up , he did bring a lot of food though.

brooklyn had suited up in a little bit of a warmer suit. she grabbed her shield and loaded some guns and met up with the others not saying much.

"Alright!" Fury says once everyone's there and he looks at them "We've detected an unknown energy source which we believe is caused by Hydra, we don't know what it is exactly or why and we can't send the usual people, they'll be on the lookout for those, find the source, figure out what its for and stop it, this is a stealth mission." he says. He looks at Alex "Are your comms working?" he asks.

Alex nods "Yes sir, I'll hand them out in the jet." he says and asks "What if we need backup?" he asks.

"You're completely on your own I'm afraid, we can't send anyone else or we'd draw too much attention." Fury says and he adds "If all fails you will have both Victoria and Atreus who can make a portal back.", he moves to the side "Barton will drop you off at the area."

Victoria looks at her leg, she could handle this, as long as she wasn't going to be standing still too long, she walks into the quinjet and decides to sit down somewhere.

Brooklyn was terrified about this mission but didn't let anyone see it. she got onto the quin jet and checked her phone. she planned to turn it off and leave it in the jet before they got off.

john salutes fury "sir" before walking off and waiting for the group to start planning.

brooklyn looks up at john "hey uh speedy? mind me asking something?" she said to him quiet

john was streching " yeah sure" he says , he's thinking about becoming more serious , you know be an accual superhero that people can look up too when he grows up , time to take care of his responsibilities.

"are you nervous about the mission?" she asked him with a little nervous, having some slight anxiety in this. "what if something happens?"

"if something happends , i dont wanna think about it , i guess we made a choice coming here" john says cracking his knuckles , " id rather think about finishing the mission"

"i just feel like there's so much pressure on us to do this. i mean hell we're kids. I know we're trained to do this but i can't help feeling like if I mess up. then it's not only on me but my whole family as well" she was rambling nervous with anxiety. she couldn't relax or even calm down and think straight.

"why think about failing when you can think about ways not to fail" john says putting on his goggles , no snow going in these eyes today.

Brooklyn slightly tilted her head. "what do you mean john?" she couldn't understand how to focus on the positive in a situation like this.

"im not saying im not stressed , im saying im not gonna think about failing when i can think about ways to solve a shitty situation if we get caught "

"you were never taught to look at negatives and positives?" she asked him.

"i was taught to calculate situations , not state already known facts" john says

"yeah I guess that's another way to see it." she said shrugging her shoulders. "i never really thought of it like that."
