"Emergency." Victoria explains to Thalia and she shakes her head at Atreus "My magic needs to do its work, but I had to completely focus it somewhere else." she tells him quietly "So there's nothing anyone can do right now."

Alex frowns "Well dinner's nearly ready." he says, tossing some firewood in the fire.

Atreus goes to grab Victoria's dinner for her and himself, bringing it to the table to set it down."Just let me know ifyou need me to do anything." He tells her.

Thalia grabs a chair to sit with them before grabbing food and rejoining them."Oh..." She poked st the food.

Victoria nods, she looks at the others "You two wouldn't have been able to help I'm afraid." she says "And we're fine, see?"

Alex nods and eats his dinner, occasionally tossing a small branch in the fire.

Atreus started on his meal and gets to eating it, they had their prank they were going to be doing after this but he was in no rush here either.

Thalia takes a bite."You dragged him off on some sort of mission or?" She asks her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Well sort of... they couldn't make the barrier strong enough, so they called me and dad too, so I thought 'why not bring Atreus along', good thing too or walking would probably be out of the question." Victoria says and she sighs "Should I have told you guys?"

Alex checks his phone and frowns "Okay... mom says that Fury might have a mission for us." he says "IF we can survived the rest of the relaxing camping trip and work on our teamwork."

Atreus used a napkin to wipe his mouth."We're already going to get a mission?" He leans back info his seat when he was done eating."Don't think we had time to tell them." He tells her.

Thalia takes another bite before sitting up."Maybe you should've." She nods."Does she know what the mission might be?" She asks him.

Brooklyn sits carving a stick with a pocket knife "hey!! anyone got a uh lighter by chance or even anything SUPER flammable?!" she looks up looking around the campsite.

"With how weak that barrier, probably not." Victoria says, it had been an emergency though, so she couldn't stop to tell them.

"She doesn't know what kind of mission it might be." Alex says and he shrugs "We first need to enjoy camping and apparently keep working on our teamwork before we know.". He sighs and looks at Brooklyn "Please go eat dinner and don't burn the entire forest down." he tells her, mentioning to the area, tents were scattered here and there too, so wanting to light stuff on fire wasn't smart.

She scoffs "i am the most careful person ever!" Brooklyn stumbles almost dropping the knife on her foot "would believe me if I said it was butter on my hands?" She gives an innocent smile and giggles nervous.

Atreus goes to stand up and put his stuff with the dishes, he goes by them."I'm ready whenever you are Vi." He tells her.

Thalia gets finished with dinner and stands up."You might need to work a hit harder with that one." She points to Brooklyn before she leaves the table.

She gets up and pins Thalia to a tree "If you ever underestimate my potential again. your head will be where your ass is!"

Thalia doesn't budge when she tries, she was still tall for a girl and an Asgardian at that."I would keep your hands off me." She warned her.

"or what? You may be a tall asgardian bitch but you don't scare me princess" She acts tough but in reality was scared of losing a fight

Alex gets between the two and he glares at Brooklyn "Do not threaten your teammates, am I clear?" he asks, eerily calm, sure both girls were stronger then him, but he was terrifying when he wanted to be.

Victoria leans back and she says "Really? Firth John picks fights with Atreus and now you pick fights with Thalia, the hell is with you guys?" she asks and she stands up. She walks to the bonfire and sighs, they'd have to wait till most kids are done eating.

Atreus walked after Victoria like a lost puppy and he takes his phone out to play a game on it as he sits down in the grass."Yeah." He nods.

Thalia folds her arms when Alexander came between them."Well I'll be over there til its time to start." She tells him.

Brooklyn steps away "and im the one in trouble? whatever! i need some space" she walks off

"Just because you're Steve's daughter doesn't mean you can do however you want to others." Alex tells Brooklyn, he turns to Thalia "And you did a good thing by not being super aggresive towards her."

"Look at her, thinks she can do anything because she's Steve's daughter, she has nothing to say about anything." Victoria mumbles, she couldn't stand people like that.

She stops in her tracks hiding the tears in her eyes. Brooklyn turns to victoria and swings a hard punch. "i have a lot to say"

Victoria raises a hand and grabs Brooklyn's wrist to stop her punch without taking the full force "You'd punch someone who can't fight back? How low can you sink?" she hisses at the girl "Anger issues, go take therapy with Bruce.", she looks rhe girl in her eyes and says "I don't care who you are, or who your parents are. You do not get to be mean to someone who's different then you are."

"did you or did you not try to shit talk me behind my back?!"

 

[Flame Demon]

"I was stating my opinion, I'm free to do so." Victoria deadpans and she stands up, using her cane as support and she glares at Brooklyn "So piss of and get that attitude checked, we finally have a mission we can maybe do and you have to ruin it again."

"Maybe you should be more like your dad and learn to keep your mouth shut! it did him well maybe it'll do you even better!" Brooklyn was past her limit, feeling raged and extremely pissed off.

Victoria just gives a smile "My dad has annoyed an ancient being sooo much he gave up and retreated." she says "Now, what exactly did your father do huh? Teach you to punch crippled people?" she asks. She wasn't scared of Brooklyn, her magic's ready to blast the girl away, if Atreus didn't step in.

Brooklyn picked up her shield "Believe me, i can do a lot more to you than punch you. Go on, give me your best shot!" Brooklyn was making the dumbest decision of her life.

Victoria shakes her head in disappointment "You're asking me, crippled girl, to punch you while you're holding a shield you shouldn't even be holding right now?" ahe asks "That's lower then before." she says and lets her go, sitting back down "Bother someone else."
