Brooklyn chimed in "you know! i could be of help somehow!" All she wanted was to redeem herself but she felt tension among the others."please, give me one last chance. I promise not to start fights i'll keep quiet won't even talk unless you want me to!"

"so , two people decided to join us on this camping trip , what's up with her" john asks alex

"She had been carrying a shield around, was being rude towards Thalia and finally fully intented to punch Victoria, who, by the, way, is using her cane at the moment, so she wouldn't have stood a chance." Alex explains "Alright... John, you and Brooklyn keep everyone here. Thalia and I will go check it out." he says.

Victoria nods and she says "I've spotted some stairs to go up, we can hide on the upper level if you want, not sure how steady the stairs are though."

brooklyn sat at a picnic table "I'll take it then. and if anyone shall I say evil shows up i can shoot them?" brooklyn only wanted to protect those around her and keep everyone safe. she saw john "so is he like quicksilvers kid or.....?" she recognized him but couldn't place her finger on who he was related to.

Atreus shrugs."I could teleport us up there...I already had a chair break on me at the cabin, not asgardian proof." He sighed and he grabs her hand, going inside before teleporting them to the next floor.

Thalia walks by them."No he's not any heroes child." She points out before calling for Alexander and she walks into the forest.

"No, you can't, just keep everyone here, you're not even supposed to carry weapons." Alex says and he grabs a flashlight "And he doesn't have any parents who you'd know." he points out, heading into the forest "If we're not back in fifteen minutes come check!"

Victoria looks around "Well, floor's not exactly safe looking in the middle, but maybe near the window so we can watch." she says and chuckles "Chances are the others are panicking like crazy right now."

"alright....fifteen minutes, be careful." brooklyn put her feet up and sighs. Brooklyn looks at alex before he leaves. "hey alex?" she asked him with a bit of concern in her voice. She avoided making eye contact.

Atreus goes over to the window and crouched down a little before just eventually sitting on the floor."If you want a chair just be careful with them." He smirked a little."Time to scare some kids." He chuckled.

Thalia walks beside Alexander and used a flashlight she had grabbed, she makes sure the other two students didn't get lost on the way.

"hey i can answer for myslef , yeah , no hero parents , altough my parents are pretty cool" john says sitting down on the ground since he's not going anywhere

Brooklyn turnsto john " so who are they? you tell your story i'll tell mine" she hoped to bargain with john. she put her feet up and had her arms crossed. "deal?"

"its really not that amazing of a story , see , im a mutant , my parents dont have any powers so raising me was a hastle anywas, they let me come here cause , they knew it was what i wanted , xavier's school seemed too formall for me , but after coming here i realised that xavier's would be cooler , but screw it you know , if im here , than im staying." john says

Brooklyn looked at him interested "it's quite the story to me. it makes you a unique person." she tried to be kind to him. "so besides super speed, wanna show me what you can do" she asked him

"besides super speed? i guess i can make tornados , at some point ill be able to create fire with my movement but im far off that level , i also think i super speed which is weird since im quick to making mistakes , but being a quick thinker doesnt really make you the smartest person , so whats up with you?" john says

"well besides being a hydra experiment i am sort of a copy of my dad. I'm the daughter of captain america but i was kidnapped by hydra at age 8 and used as their personal weapon. I later took the super serum they put in me and harnessed it into a weapon. Not very riveting I know" she said to john

"god , that must have been trauma inducing , i bet your dad gave them a good ass whooping" john said " being used as a weapon is always a fear to people who have powers, in a world where hydra and other villain orginizations exist , lets just thank god heroes like the avengers and the x men exist"

"i totally agree, especially the the x-men. as for the trauma part, as much as I wish it was my dad that found me that day it wasn't. Bucky had found me that day. but on the upside it's nice having insane strength though superpowers arent everything." brooklyn was trying to build up a warmer fire as she was getting cold.

"here i'll help with that" john says grabbing a stick and rubbing it against the campfire with superspeed , it combusts in mear seconds , "who's bucky?"

"thanks for the help" she smiles "james buchanan barnes. my dad's lifelong best friend and my uncle. he's not my real uncle but i call him that because he's family to me. he helped raise me pretty much. like a second dad." she said

"sounds like a cool dude , so he's probably a hero too since he saved you" john says sitting back down " i wonder how the others are doing"

"how long has it been? alex did say 15 minutes. do you think something happened while they were out?" she put a stick with a marshmallow on the end and watched it melt.

"possibly , but we shouldnt go now , its still way too early to speculate anything" john says

"this is why i'm the dumb blonde" she laughed a little hiding the pain behind the nickname

"dont get me started on the speedster jokes " john says , "i guess we should wait for a signal before ingaging"

Lokir stood by with a cup of tea, something he was introduced to and seemed to like, he however figured the kids were fine.
