I was wondering that as well. I would like to know if there are going to be separate arcs, that sort of stuff.

Honestly, I don't know how I feel about being the only half-kree with no connection to the others.
Totally your fault for being blue and a total xeno.

Besides, it's not like Susan and Alex have a strong connection going on besides the relation between their mothers (with ultra girl having been under Ms. Marvel tutelage in the initiative for a while and inheriting the mantle for a brief period before Osborn decided to be a I'm uncultured and patent superhero identities). Not sure if that warrants a childhood friendship.

DatGuyWelbz DatGuyWelbz Noice.

KnightOfNight KnightOfNight Yeah I guess I could begin reviewing finished character sheets.

(and for those who asked, no, Ultron will not be the only villain. Remember, someone helped piece his artificial/cyber form together.)

I'm struggling with Ultron's power grid. Some of his comic feats and scaling make him sorta ridiculous in every category.. Except fighting ability, I guess. Power grid in general is just really weird though with some of the more specific stuff. Like, obviously the One Above All is many, MANY times stronger than the Hulk, but they're still technically in the same strength category. Then again, I'm not familiar with the power grid and how it's inner workings are.

Epiphany Epiphany Shame that they don't organize yearly picnics for all the half kree kids, otherwise you'd have a whole bunch of relationships.

Fun thought! I figure Susan grew up with the extended (human) family. If any of the other half-kree characters have parents with ties to her family, I'm game? I'll admit, I'm not super fluent in Carol Danvers' backstory, I just like what she seems to stand for.

To be honest, even if you were super fluent it wouldn't change much in this aspect. Friendships between heroes are normally quite blurry since Marvel doesn't seem to give a lot of fucks about consistency when it comes to this kind of thing (Unless you're a part of the X-Men, that is). Normally it's pretty safe to assume that as long as a character is/has been in the same team or an allied one as the other and isn't explicitly said to dislike them, they'll be friends.

Anyway, if you're interested we could make our characters know each other outside of the hero thing because of their parents being friendly, I'd be up for it just so we can show these Next Avengers that they ain't the only ones with friends..

Well, let's do it! There's a 5 year age gap (though I suppose I could bring Susan's age down a little, I just want her old enough to have finished school, had some work experience and to plausibly be running her own company now). But I can easily see us running in the same circles throughout childhood. Depending on when Alex got his powers, maybe even a bit of tension (or relief) that she'd been passed over, followed by her probably turning to him as the only peer she knows whose had a similar recent experience. I'm not sure if Carol Danvers is going to be around as an NPC or in the picture in any sense or if the original crew is just retired or out of play somehow but it's an option.

Whatever's fun for you. I could even see her having a joking relationship where her company got the job on any property he ended up smashing while doing the heroing thing. :)

Everything is plausible for super heroes. EVERYTHING.

Tbh doe, being the daughter of a super hero with a public identity would probably land her a lot of contracts. I can totally see her being successful quickly based solely on people interested in helping her either to repay or just suck-up Carol.

As for Alex awakening his powers, I actually planned to have him powered from birth to justify how wary he is of his powers. Gotta justify that world of cardboard speech.

Some good RP possibility out of that.

You can take your big cousin under your wing, show her the ropes. ;)

Ooh, I just read this somewhere and I love it.

When the first sentient AI was created, the first question it was asked by its creators was "Is there a God?" The machine unplugged itself from the wall, turned to its creators and said "There is now."
