Marvel/Daredevil Roleplay

When Maddie first fell. Snafu reached forward to try and assist, but once he saw everyone laughing around him, including Maddie, he shrugged it off and grinned. As the others uncoordinatedly fell as well. He began to laugh as well. Once Maddie stood up, dusting herself off like it was no big deal, Sable applauded, "Brava!" she exclaimed as Snafu said, "That was definitely something, I'll give you that."

Maddie grinned. "Okay okay so I'm not QUITE as good as sable." She laughed. "I should probably get home before I start puking." She observed. Foggy laughed at her. "Lame!!" Maddie stuck her tongue out at him in response.

Snafu grinned, "Here. Let me walk you both home. There's no way I'ma leavin' you," he pointed at Sable, "to get you," he pointed at Maddie, "home in your current states."

"I'm fine and I don't need you help. You don't need to play the hero here. I can handle it." Sable growled.

"I'm not fine. Cmon sable I have more liquor at home. You can keep drinking there if you want, I just don't like puking in public bathrooms!" Maddie complained, tugging at sable hand.

Sable sighed, "Alright come on, let's go." she grabbed Maddie's arm to give her some support, "This way." She said to Snafu as she headed off in the proper direction.

Snafu grinned slightly, amused by the exchange and followed.

Maddie smiled. "Thanks, pal!" She cheered, waving to foggy and Karen as they left for their own apartments in a cab. Maddie was fairly steady, only stumbling a few times.

"How much did you have to drink, Maddie?" Snafu asked as Sable continued to remain strong in order to keep helping her walk, the few scattered stumbles changing up their rhythm every time.

Maddie frowned. "Let's see. Four shots of Jameson whiskey, 6 of tequila and a couple beers. Oh and the majority of Karen's long island iced tea when she couldn't finish it." She replied with a shrug.

"How are you even standing right now?" Snafu asked in amazement.

"I don't know how she is, but obviously, she can hold her liquor." Sable said in surprise, "I'm not as much of a drinker as I am-" she stopped talking suddenly, "I'm not into drinking that much. So I don't think my tolerance is as high."

Maddie giggled. "Drinking is my hobby! It helps when I've had a rough day at work." She shrugged. "Sable has other hobbies." She winked at sable.

"Maddie shut up." Sable growled quietly so only Maddie could hear.

"What other hobbies?" Snafu asked curiously.

"Um... I like to draw and... sing... and you know that's really it, I'm not that interesting." Sable said.

"Where'd you learn to do tricks like that." he said pointing back at the bar, "What do you call that hobby? Parkour?"

"Yeah, sure." Sable replied.

Maddie made flipping motions with her hands. "She's all tumbly and shit. Flexible. No fair." She pouted. "I can't even do a cartwheel anymore!"

"I'm sure you could if you weren't drunk." Sable said, "And I'm not some kind of pretty little sissy gymnast ballerina or some shit like that. I just know how to get around a city without touching the ground." She shrugged,

"That's still pretty badass. And Maddie is a darts champion." Snafu added supportively.

Maddie threw her fist in the air. "Hell yeah! I'm great at darts. As if that even matters." She laughed. "I'm good at other things too though." She shrugged.

"Yes you are." Sable said playcating her in her intoxicated state. The entered the apartment building.

"What other things are you good at?" Snafu asked entertained.

Maddie huffed. "I'm a good cook. I can play piano and sing...I...can beat up punching bags." She shrugged. "Normal stuff." She stumbled to her door and unlocked it, heading inside and leaving the door open behind in case they wanted to follow. Maddie plopped down on the couch.

"I am good at none of those things... except the punching bag." Snafu chuckled coming in and watching her plop, "Do you need a puke bucket or something? Are you okay?"

"I didn't know you play piano." Sable smiled, "We should sing together when you're not... this." she teased with a laugh.

Maddie grinned. "Maybe. I only sing in the shower now. No I think I'm past the nausea. Just need to sleep." She yawned and laid down on the couch. "This is the best drunk sleeping couch ever."

Sable looked concerned when Maddie said she only sang in the shower now. She watched Maddie lay down before fetching her a blanket and pillow from the closet, "Where am I supposed to sleep?" Sable asked as she laid the blanket over her.

Snafu laughed, speaking quietly, "It looks like a very nice drunk couch." he turned to Sable, "I don't know. You're not drunk. You don't get drunk couch."

Sable hit him with a pillow playfully, "Shut up, I wasn't asking you." she laughed as Snafu blocked the blows.

"You can take my bed. No stinky boys though!" Maddie said to Maddie, pointing unsteadily at snafu. "He's right though. Only drunks get the drunk couch. When there are no drunks then the drunk couch gets sable. I mean...wait..." She was getting her words confused. "Whatever you guys know what I mean." She snuggled under the blanket with a yawn, quickly falling asleep.

Sable made a face, her left eyebrow raising upward in a high arch of confusion as she listened to Maddie attempt to convey some sort of message to her. Snafu's large, round blue eyes widened, showing the whites fully around the iris shortly before allowing them to return to normal, a grin plastered on his face as he looked to Sable for answers. In response, she gave a simple shrug while mouthing, No clue. She responded to Maddie, "No, I don't really."

"Yes ma'am. I'll leave the door open and keep both hands above the blanket. No laying down." Snafu agreed playfully.

Sable grinned and shook her head as she headed into the kitchen, "What do you want to drink?"

"Oh... I don't know if I need anymore of those." he responded as he followed, stopping at the edge

"Just one more drink. I'd figure we'd watch some TV or something in the bedroom." Sable said form the kitchen as she mixed them some drinks, "I'm not quite tired yet myself."

Snafu entered watching her, approaching slowly from behind and staring from the drink to her, then from her back to the drink, "I thought no boys were allowed in there. You heard her."

"Why does she care what I do first of all. I'm an adult, I can do what I want." Sable said defiantly, "And second of all. We're just watching a movie. If you think you're getting anything tonight you're mistaken." Sable said turning and jabbing a finger in his chest.

Snafu shrugged, "Hey, now. I wasn't thinking about that as a possibility... I just want to respect the house rules."

Sable took a drink of hers and swished it around, smacking her lips before taking a drink of his, "Perfect." She handed him his drink before taking his free hand, "Come on." she led him into the bedroom holding a finger to her mouth and sat on the bed and patted next to her, picking up the remote and turning on the TV. Back the Future was on,

"Ah yes! I love this movie!" Sable grinned, "I went to theatres to see it. My foster brothers at the home paid for me to go. It was great."

"Yeah, it's definitely a good one." he nodded, "Lot's of fun." He sat down slowly and looked at Sable, staring at her as she leaned back on her hands behind her back, watching the TV.

"What?" Sable asked looking at him.

Snafu shook his head, "So, tell me a little bit more about you."

"I am not in the mood to talk, sorry." Sable said with a smirk as she looked back to the screen, "Watch the TV."

Snafu raised one eyebrow, "But I want to talk to you."

Sable rolled her eyes with a groan, "I need more liquor if we're gonna have story time." she took three large drinks before answering, "I was born somewhere, showed up on a doorstep in Hell's Kitchen, and continued to live as an unwanted member of society until I ran away at the age of 9 and took care of myself from then on out. So that's me, how about you?"

Snafu's eyes were raised. He hadn't expected to here such a story, "Wait... you don't know who your parents are?"

"No." Sable snapped.

"Man, I'm... I'm sorry to here that." Snafu responded.

"What's it like having parents?" Sable asked with a shrug like she didn't care about her like of parental guidance.

Snafu shook his head, "I don't have my parents around anymore either. They passed away."

"When?"

"Quite a while ago."

"How?"

"House fire." Snafu replied simply.

"Was that before or after you came back from over seas?" Sable asked.

"After."

"Well," Sable took another drink, "This conversation just got depressing."

Snafu grinned, "Yeah, well... if we didn't have these scars, we wouldn't really have a story now would we. They make us who we are... everything we go through. The hard part is learning how to turn tragedies into something productive, beautiful mistakes."

Sable smiled as she listened to him, nodding and burying her head in her hands for a second before saying softly, "I wouldn't say beautiful."

"I would." Snafu looked at her, watching her face with his round blue eyes.

Sable stared at him shortly before looking away and rolling to her stomach, lifting her feet in the air as she bent her legs at the knees, kicking them freely, "Movie time." She said.

Snafu grinned, half of his face stretching up as he smiled and turned his attention toward the movie.

As the movie went on, the two talked, made jokes and quoted lines together. Enjoying their time. Finally the movie was over and the two grew awkwardly quiet as commercials began over the end credits. The two glanced at one another awkwardly, their eyes catching for a second before turning away. Sable grinning out of embarrassment, the liquor definitely taking affect now as the room around her glistened with soft, bright edges.

"Well... I guess I should better get goin'." Snafu said standing, "I mean, you heard Maddie. She said no stinky boys stayin' over." He reached for his jacket throwing it on one arm.

Sable stood up abruptly and spat out, "Who cares, she's not my mom."

Snafu stopped, eyebrows pinching as he thought about the meaning behind what she just said, "You want me to stay?" he asked letting his jacket slide back onto the side of the bed.

"No." Sable responded instinctively, "I mean..." she crossed her arms, leaning against the wall, "I don't care."

"You don't huh?" he approached more, "And why not?"

"I said I don't care." Sable responded, pressing her back more against the wall.

"Oh come on. Drop the act. You like me." Snafu said grinning wildly.

Sable raised her eyebrows, "Nope."

"I think you do. You can't hide it." he said slowly with his Cajun draw, focusing on Sable's light hazel eyes that forcibly looked away. She didn't respond. After waiting and receiving no compliance, Snafu picked at her more, "You just said it, you can't go back on it now."

Sable rolled her eyes and leaned in closer, closing the gap between their noses as she responded, "What do you want out of me."

"Just to..." he leaned in closer as well, "To admit it."

Slowly, their lips came together, pressing against one another. He felt warm, his lips soft and large, causing her to feel as if she was encased in the kiss. And with the kiss, came a sudden spark of immense excitement, rising from her stomach into her chest as her heart pounded vehemently. Snafu sensed her passion and the two simultaneously wrapped their arms around each other, the sexual attraction no longer able to be controlled. Quickly their kiss escalated to a make out session as Snafu grabbed her wrist and pushed her against the wall gently but forcefully, Sable biting at his lower lip, inviting him into a deeper kiss. Accepting the opportunity, their mouths opened more, breath getting hotter as their lips locked again. Sable could feel the heat rising through her body, her face flushing and skin growing hot to the touch. She wrapped her arms around his back, grabbing at her elbows which allowed the gap between their bodies to be closed as he pressed his chest against hers. Leaving her lips, he began to kiss down her neck and onto her shoulder, biting lightly. Sable's entire system was on fire, she closed her eyes, knowing that this could, and most likely would, escalate quickly. Somewhere along the way, he knew the same, but not before he lifted her up and laid her on the bed. Stopping shortly to look her in the eyes the two studied each other, each breathing heavy, cheeks pink with fervor. He kissed her again, short, powerful kisses that slowed suddenly into the delicate kisses which had started the entire venture. Separating again, the two stared into each others eyes shortly before Snafu hung his head, chuckling and shaking it side to side,

"I am so sorry." he got off of her and stood off to the side next to the bed, rubbing one hand through his tight curly hair, "I don't... usually I-" he stopped. Unsure how to explain himself.

Sable nodded, "Me too. I didn't mean to get carried away." she crossed her arms.

"You're just... I don't know."

"Yeah." Sable couldn't believe the awkwardness that had befallen the situation suddenly. Just seconds earlier it had been a frenzy of passion and sexual excitement. Things cooled so quickly when the logic centers kicked in, "Don't apologize. I..." She couldn't believe the words coming out of her mouth, "Liked it."

Snafu grinned, chuckling shyly as he placed his hand over his mouth, rubbing the sides of his face with his knuckle and thumb, "Wow."

"Wow alright." Sable couldn't believe it, despite herself, she was very interested in this guy and in the back of her mind she could feel her most primal part of her desiring to sleep with him, right now, tonight. She pushed it away and said, "Well... I think you should probably go. I'm getting tired," she lied, "I'll see you later."

"You promise?" Snafu asked grinning cutely, ingratiatingly.

Sable couldn't help it, happiness washed over her as she genuinely smiled, her body feeling light and fluttery, she giggled, a true, raw giggle as she playfully rolled her eyes approaching Snafu and placing her hands against his arm, pushing him toward the door, "Yes! Promise. Now let me go to bed." He opened to door as she pushed him out of the bedroom.

"Call me tomorrow?"

"Okaaay!" she said as if being pestered, still smiling brightly.

Snafu smiled, "Great. Good night."

"Night." Sable shut the door before spinning around in the room, placing her hands on her head, the affect of the liquor gone. Instead, her mind was now filled with the leftover excitement of the spontaneity of the moment. She sat on the bed, beaming.

Snafu stood in the hall shortly before slowly making his way toward the living room to collect the rest of his things and leave, a smile on his face.

Walking up around 10am, Sable sat up from Maddie's bed, stretching and yawning. Rubbing her eyes, she reached for her cell phone grabbing it and checking it quickly, hoping in the back of her mind that Snafu who have messaged her. Nothing. He was definitely respecting her space. Instead was a text from an unfamiliar number. She pushed her heavy hair out of her face, reading the text:

"This is Ryder, We need to talk."

Sable turned her head sideways curious as to how Ryder had gotten her number. She had purchased a new cell phone and told him nothing about it, 'Has he been watching me?' she thought before heading into the living room to see how Maddie was doing after the wild night. Sable stood in the living room, 'Wild night...' she thought blushing suddenly remembering making out with Snafu the previous night in Maddie's room, 'Oh God.' she face palmed, her phone in the hand which pressed up against her face embarrassed at herself.

Maddie was awake, sipping coffee at her table in silence, enjoying the peace and quiet. She glanced up at Sable as she face-palmed with the phone in hand. "You know, those work better when you hold them to your ear...." she suggested with a chuckle. "I made coffee if you want some." she added, observing the girl in curiosity. Maddie remembered the night. "Did Snafu make it home okay?" her eyes suddenly widened, "Please tell me you did not jump his bones on my bed. Gross." she made a face.

Sable grinned shaking her head at Lola's comment, "I've never really had one of these things. So that's good advice." She joked back as she opened the fridge looking for some fruit, "No thanks." She grabbed an apple and took a bit as she leaned on the counter. At Maddie's question, she spit out the apple pieces on the ground, "What?" She snapped, "No!"

"Me thinks the lady doth protest too much. But okay I'll buy it. What did you guys do? I remember passing out on the couch." Maddie said with a frown, trying to ease sable's feelings. "The fact that you just reacted so much tells me something interesting happened." She wiggled her eyebrows, unable to resist teasing.

"Nothing... Just watched a movie." Sable responded crossing one arm across her mid section while the other hung loose with the apple in it. She figured she might as well come clean, Maddie was her friend. She could trust her, "We just made out... A lot." She said shrugging, trying to make it seem like no big deal.
