"Exactly!" Autumn snarled, circling Ray wearily. "Stress is understandable - but conflict, let alone murder, will not be tolerated here. So you can shape up or travel alone. Oh, but look on the bright side - at least you can rot away in peace."


Silver looked down, his typical anxious behavior returning. He had seen this side of Autumn before - the old Beta side of her, and he did not like it in the slightest.
