Btw I love how we all created our evil alter egos, but dont we need to develop the plot a bit more before we can send them to battle? :D

@PrimaDonna We do, but we are accepting other baddies for sure! I also wouldn't be opposed to a cute and fluffy team mascot, other mysterious love interest guys, etc. There's plenty of room for other characters to fit in if you would like

Also, just wanted to point out to everyone: I decided to change Kanna's name (for the final time!) To Kohane. I wanted her to have a more unique, not common name. Kanna will still be called Kanna as a nickname. o-o also, Hanyuu works as a nickname for it. So it uses the two names I was caught between in the first place. plus, i like the name. lol


No need to edit anything, I editted her introduction of her name though. o-oand the character sheet.


 
oh! also, I notice you guys have a theme of Dark Crystals going for the bad guys team, I like it! in keeping with the change, why don't we call them Bringer of rather than Guardian of?


On top of that, maybe they aren't inherantly evil but rather just believe in doing things differently than they are? like, their methods arw bad and the ideals aren't the best, but they dont think they are evil they just think they are making the world more fun, fair, etc?


So while Kanna and her Guardians are preserving what is (acting as guardians) the Dark Crystals are bringing new ideals to the table and butting out the old (Bringers of). Get it? o-o just an idea. yay it or nay it
 
( Personally I would love a redemption story to my evil char since her only mistake was that she was left alone and never known true love. Yes, awfully cliché [ man do I love this word! ] but i like it :D )

If you want, My evil character's up for romance. it's just an idea, he's already past the Sayaka stage anyway, the worst he can do is torment the city and burn it to the ground in anger of rejection...hehehehehe.....
 
I was considering using Lapis Lazuli. It's a dark and dull color, which would suit being next to opal. It is often shortened to Lapis, which sounds good next to opal. and it often signifies hope, which would be cool for her since she hopes for a new world. and it suits her used to be Balance thing. thoughts?


i also considered Jasper, justcuz its pretty. lol
 
I have found something called " Nebula Stone " it is something that actually consists from several crystals itself and has a look like the nebula system on it. It is black with greeinsh ripples on the surface but not sure if that counts.

Oh it's perfect! it's darker and it looks like a spacey dark version of Jasper!

I like the idea of the bad guys actually being evil. A lot of our evil characters have horrible backgrounds and they kinda hate the world because of what they went through.
 
well, for the most part, I have Manna thinking Chaos and Despair is how it should be, and wanting to be the "One True God". So I guess that is pretty downright evil, even if she did think it is good. O__O She's also a bit crazy.


 
@DawnAntalios I love your Dark Crystal! 030 We have really similar taste, it seems. Yours are similar to character types I usually play. x3 even the appearance images are faceclaims I use. I fear if I hadn't been making a magical girl leader that we would have had very similar characters! lol

Hey, people: would anyone object to me tossing in another character to act as like a second opal for the Leader? Maybe Kanna is like the team mascot.


because


a) lots of cute pictures with other character in them. O.o faceclaim material just waiting.


b) could make Kohane act as like the team mascot on top of being leader. plus, her being a shrine maiden out of nowhere could be explained by pretending to be e relative of a shrine maiden (kinda a little working around what actual hanyuu in higurashi does when she gets solid form.)


c) i feel like i could have fun making it work out so that Hanyuu needs a sort of "tether" to this world. I'm thinking her sister found her tether in some other way, but Kanna binds herself through a "proxy". i could play around with her going back and forth from being a useless ghost-like thing to super helpful warrior


d) She could have been the first of this batch of magical girls, kind of like Manna had brought Kai from the start? and maybe she only recently got outnumbered and had to bring in this crew of backup. #veteran to show them the ropes and also to teach kanna the human things


Maybe I'll make the character and see what y'all think? .-. could get complicated. but i'm loving everyone's ideas for plots theyve got going, so its an excuse to play a human girl, too. xD romance is easier with a human girl.

Ooo, I see where this is going: Kohane was only shown in the dreams of others because they did not want to discover the true location or intention of Manna's sister, thus sheltering themselves from possible attacks!


Clever ploy.
