Magical Girls Club: Team Kagayaki! Crystal Lights!

well ok. O.o but i suppose the question is more how did she become that? is she from another world like the other power-granters? maybe she is the sharing the status of god in another and wants to take over this one for herself?

Sabatiel manifested when man took its first steps towards progress . She isn't a god, more of a guardian angel who's been corrupted by the darkness of humanity. She's from Earth. And she doesn't take well to trespassers, especially now while she's corrupted.

Ah. So her main goal is to remove trespassers to earth and those tainted by/ affected by them?

so she would be an enemy to both the crystal lights and the dark crystals?

Yes. Although if someone purifies or corrupts her even more, she just might side with someone. But it won't be easy since Diel is one of the purest beings that balances Sabatiel as one of the most corrupted.

Ah. so for now she'll be her own neutral force. O.o seems the crystals will be tugging her between dark and light for a while then.

I MIGHT have done goofed this up so I am going to ask this here:

My character tries to keep her distance and respect towards everyone, thus she calls them by their family names. BUT! Is it correct to call Kohane "Tomoe-chan"? I do not know if " -chan" is usable with family names.

Originally I thought calling her chan simply because she is a bit younger than her but it turns out that most of us are 16, yet I still call them " san ".

I am really bad with this honorifics it seems, should I correct all my " chans" to " sans " to make more sense?

^If she wants to be distant then -san is the way to go, also I think most people, if you aren't close call each other by the last name added with a -san

technically, Kanna is much older than the rest but is just disguised as a school aged girl. o-o almost all honorifics can be used with both surname and given name. it's actually common for those not very close to each other to stick to surnames and still use chan if they are friends or something.

however, Kanna is also disguised as a relative of my new character, so they share a surname. you may want to pick a different honorific for both or use first names or something to differentiate. lol

senpai would work, as they are classmates. -san is the equivalent of mr, ms, miss, mrs, etc.

-sama shows high respect, -kouhei could mean underclassmen (good for Yuko, since she is only 13)

Well WE know that she is older than all of us, but from a character's perspective she is a cheerful young girl, not an all knowing gracious goddess :D

I intended to use Tomoe-san ( now they will become sans) until we meet her " sister " since from then on we will need to differentiate between the two of them.

Well I also just added a human girl, to tie her into the world shes in a bit more. o-o who is ALSO a Tomoe, the sisters stole her name.

i mentioned it above, and the character sheet is in with the others. x-x

From what I have gathered ( wikipedia lol) " san " can be used independent from gender and age, and it i often used among equals, like class mates or people who work with you at the same workplace. That's why I dared to use it.

In any case as a further character development I will drop the " sans" after a while, I use them to keep up the immersion :P

After all what I have seen most japanese people use these honorifics in every situations, even among friends sometimes.

I was thinking about something for a while now, how to easily infiltrate the group of heroes as an evil character and came upon the solution ( just an idea, nothing more) : say my evil character is the Harbinger of Deceit, yes? That being said she could help others to get among the heroes by twisting their outer appearance ( maybe their voice too ) to one of the heroes so they could learn their secrets.

( Idea development still WIP )

sounds like it would make a cool story arc type of thing, maybe one where your character is the main villain/focus for things for a while? could be cool.

Well I was just wondering since our bad guys barely made an appearance until now, this would allow them to actually act ( and not being bored waiting for their grand entrance :P )

Well, we have two bad guys who are only bad guys/Neutral. That's @Metaphysics characters. O.o so my thoughts were that their grand entrance as bad guys will be first. Maybe even at the same time, where Sabatiel shows up and Kai swoops in while they are trying to deal with her. o-o first, of course, we have to get through the whole making them magical girls thing. .-. which, depending on people's response time, could go quick or not.

Maybe, since it'll be their first fight, Sabatiel can send out monsters and not show up herself until a bit after?

I think I'll just sit back and wait patiently until everyone makes their questions, I feel I have already written too much, I have heard about people disliking if someone 'hijacks' the thread :3
