Akira sighed "No I don't know what you mean, and if you were there in any way shape or form you'd know it still did get crashed." she raised an eyebrow at Graeme she sighed sitting down. She still felt guilty for attacking her friends even if she wasn't in her right mind. It was hard to look at Ellie anymore without remembering what she did to her and it hurt her even more to look at Oliver knowing she let him get hurt and for awhile hadn't even cared. She went completely silent her mind drifting back to the events of the wedding.
Ever since then she had nightmares every night though the only difference is what the nightmares contain it was no different to before. She always has had nightmares.

Alexander and the others try to help her through them but they can't.

'Honestly stop moping, you make it dreary for me too Y'know!'

Akira's face shifted to a scowl as she hissed a "Shut up, Its all your fault" low enough no one would hear

'Correction its all ms dark and evil psycho B****'s fault not mine'

Akira slammed her hand down on the counter standing up not even noticing that she did so. "Go away" her voice was still low as she spoke

'Fine, fine for now. Though you do realize your looking crazy once more right? Just thought I should inform you, now stop your damn moping we'll chat later.'

Akira huffed and sat back down head resting on hands staring down at the counter eyes narrowed in anger at herself, at Shadae and at whatever damn entity that was apart of her mind now. @Dnaleri017
Prince Graeme "Yea, I know... like I said, tried." Graeme sighed, "Besides I'm in plenty of trouble myself now as well."

Raya declined the marker, "Sorry, I don't need Vincent or Ellie killing at the moment, good for future reference though." she joked then looked over at Akira, who was scowling, "Stop looking so glum, chum!"

The wisp cast his hands up and gave her the lightest of shrugs, as though to shake off her words. “Pacing can release tension, or allow contemplation. For others who have stayed here too long and been driven to madness, senseless walking back and forth eases the mind,” Vahl said in return. “The servants, mostly, tend to fall into this habit.”

Having caught her attention, Vahl swept himself into a chair and eyed her intently. “I’m only a simple wisp, seeking to the pass the time,” he said in answer. “Did Serathi send for you, or perhaps you’re an accomplice of Quincy’s?” It was hard not to ignore the set of wings that protruded from her back, and even though he had seen many of various forms, especially as new recruits continued to trickle in, hers were better groomed. They reminded him of the ones he had seen on the girl at the café earlier, though these were stained as dark as the night sky.

"And ash, sulfur and obsidian," Quincy continued, his memories flashing before his eyes as he spoke, making them go wide, "And pain... a lot of pain."

The nightmare blinked, snapping out of his reverie to focus in on Jun as he spoke, shaking his head with a small giggle and hugging his arms around himself before he began to sway back and forth in distress, "I don't remember anything before waking up. I don't remember a meadow, and I don't remember flashes of light and I most certainly do not remember reachi-"

Quincy's mad ramblings were cut off abruptly, as he felt a slight pressure against his cheekbone. He drew in a sharp breath of confusion, but didn't pull away, deciding to instead wait and see what it was that had caught his twins attention. His touch was light and his fingers cold, but as they connected with his skin, another feeling of absolute familiarity shot through him like an arrow laced with uncertainty.

Then, as Jun's words reached him and registered themselves within his jumbled mind, another thought came to him. A theory, which could eventually lead to disastrous consequences. It couldn't be, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

So with a deadpan expression, the nightmare slowly unwound his arms from each other, and dug his purple nails into the soft flesh just above his own wrist.

......

Vincent sighed in annoyance, blinking away the slight pain that had emanated as Raya had pressed the marker to his skin. "I'm going to wash this off," He said, gesturing to the bathrooms, before pointing at the bar, "There are mugs under the counter, should you want them." With that, the demon made his way to the bathrooms, running a hand over his green-stained face.

Shadae looked slightly infuriated when he mentioned servants paced but quickly masked it before taking a seat herself "I came to Serathi myself to form an alliance. Which she accepted.

We have...common enemies." A small butterfly formed in her hand lazily fluttering around it "I want to see all of those filthy pieces of trash at the cafe destroyed." with that last word her hand shot up crushing the butterfly she paused "Because I want to take my daughter back they stole from me." her eyes flicked over to Vahl "What about you? Why are you here?"

'This Wisp intrigues me, I've never seen one of his kind before. I do wonder what reason he'd have for serving under someone.'

--------

Akira's eyes flicked over to Raya jolting up like she was snapped out of some trance a forced smile taking over her face "Sorry about that, I must have gotten lost in my thoughts."

she cleared her throat her head turning to Vincent. "Vincent do you think I could have some alcohol? Alexander isn't around so there isn't anyone to stop me." her voice held some mischievousness to it but there was something else under that tone, weariness, anger, shame, sadness and disgust.

Prince Graeme "Well I mean technically I could, but I might have to agree, some Sake would be nice about now." Graeme chuckled, "Besides, Bramb knows why I need it." Graeme chuckled, maybe we should all just take it easy tonight and just chill. Close up shop and just hang out as friends. I need to do some planning before I leave anyway."

Akira's eyes flicked over to Graeme slight mischief in them. "That's a great Idea, It gets me out of doing paperwork as it means I don't have to go back to the castle" she joked

An Exclaim of "Your Highness!" was heard from Alistair who was listening in. Akira just ignored him a small smirk spreading on her face in amusement and mischief. @Dnaleri017

Certain madness tangled within the boy’s words as he continued to speak without pause, and though it might have been troubling for others Jun only experienced a deep wealth of sorrow. This mystery between them was an endless, shifting maze that seemed to have no answer. It was simply riddle after unanswered riddle – the only thing that remained clear was their familial ties, and it was for this very reason that Jun felt himself wracked with sudden emotion.

Though he had known his twin for less than a few hours, Jun wanted to do nothing but sooth the other’s distress, for he was his brother, his other half to be exact – and that created a bond which could not be explained by simple comprehension.

When Jun felt him still at his touch, surprising the shade, he reached back out, wanting to sooth his misery. The action was halted mid way as his gold eyes widened, bright with pain, and Jun wrenched the arm back to his chest, clutching it desperately. The metaphysical grip that dug into his skin was fierce and unmerciful, burrowing between the soft tendons and layers of muscle, forcing itself deeper.

Jun shuddered, then cried out when he when he felt the stunning pressure land on the bone itself

"This is certainly very disconcerting." Quincy murmured, his voice devoid of any emotions as he released the cutting grip on his own arm, watching as blood pooled from the three, deep crescent shaped wounds left there. He let his arms fall to the side, the red liquid from his arm hitting the pavement below them in a steady drip, drip, drip, the sound almost working in a rhythmic fashion with the whirring of his own mind.

The nightmare watched his twin's face contort itself in pain, and studied blood now running out of his woolen sleeve with a slight frown. This was very, very disconcerting.

The single realization that someone was in a position to cause him immense pain of they so wished, made his teeth clench painfully against one another, a bubbling feeling of hot rage beginning to build in his chest. He had not fought his way to the top of the ranks only to be dragged down by something as menial as this. It was unfair, unwanted!

But still, he realized as he watched his twin clutch his arm to his chest and cry in pain, there was something within him, something small and almost erased, which screamed out at the nightmare, demanding he protect this person. This stranger. Quincy took another step forward, his hand rising only a few inches towards the boy. Something within him knew, without a shadow of a doubt, the person who possessed his face was no stranger, but instead a perfect representation of why self preservation was key to surviving. Jun was his twin. His other half. His brother.

As the anger brought on by their newest discovery faded out into nothing, another emotion took a hold of his subconscious with the grip of an iron fist, slowly ebbing out to the most corrupted parts of his demented mind. It was a feeling of excitement over discovering something interestingly new, blended in with the absolute refusal to let it go.

Quincy stuck his hand into his pocket, pulling out a dark, red handkerchief. It wasn't very big, and it had the circus initials on it, but it would do. With a small, almost inaudible giggle he held it out to the other, "It's no matter," He told him quite cheerfully, "I'm just going to have to make sure you never get hurt."

.....

Once all the hints of neon green was carefully rubbed from his face, Vincent finally exited the bathroom. His mind was much clearer, and if he had had the mind to, he would have actually thanked the protector for cluttering up his skin with the marker, if only for the fact that the cold water splashed against his skin, helped wake him up completely.

As he emerged from the bathrooms, he noticed that nobody had taken him up on the offer of coffee. Pursing his lips in slight disappointment, he was just about to reach for a mug for himself, when he realized that they still lacked any traces of soul residue. Disgruntled, and slightly disappointed, he reached under the bar for a bottle of moonshine instead, pouring a hefty amount into a tall glass.

“As do many of us,” the wisp replied, folding one leg over another and resting his elbows along the table. “Some of us already have an individual in mind that we wish to deal with, personally.” Quietly, Vahl wondered who would finally meet him on the battlefield, his thoughts including the imp from earlier and even the girl with the fiery temper and shocking pink hair.

Intrigue glazed his expression as he caught the harsh note sewn inside her voice. “My purpose here is to simply repay a debt from long ago. I wouldn’t be here if simply for that. But please,” Vahl said with sudden encouragement, “share how they were able to steal this daughter of yours.”

Prince Graeme "Yea, no kidding." As Vincent came back Graeme spoke up. "Hey Vince, got any sake? I'm thinking tonight we should all just chill out, you know, after all that's happened."

"Sake?" Vincent repeated, tilting his head to the side in slight confusion, mulling over his request, "No, we don't. We have moonshine, though." The demon poured him a glass, sliding it over to him, the sound of the heavy glass running over the wooden surface of the counter bringing an odd sense of familiarity and peace to him. It was strange, and the demon couldn't even begin to fathom why. "I think you're correct. We've all been far to stressed lately."

" Mmm," Ellie murmured, absentmindedly stroking Chomp's head, only looking up when he screeched at her to stop. "Sorry Chomp," she giggled nervously, going back to stroking his head despite the hisses.

Raya scrunched up her face when she heard people mentioning alcohol, "I wonder how long you two would last if all the moonshine and beer and whatever else you have down there disappeared." she said, eyeing the two males, "Oh, Oh! Vincent!" she squealed and hopped over the counter, "You don't have to lend me anything anymore! Akira's throwing a party of some sort and she's making me do all the planning." she stated with a smile then brought up her fingers and rubbed them together as if in a money craze, "She was going to throw a costume ball, which your only supposed to do on Halloween, so be prepared for a Christmas ball!"

She hopped back over the counter -stealthily stealing some coffee and sugar well she was at it- then sat down on the floor and looked up at the roof, frowning when she saw how plain it was. The teen placed her coffee on the ground beside her then laid down so she could inspect the roof thoroughly. She tilted her head to one side, finding nothing interesting in this angle then tilted her head to the other side still finding nothing interesting, "Do you guys mind if I paint this?" she asked, raising her hand and pointing at the roof.

"Paint? Our cieling?" Ellie repeated uncertainly, as Chomp hissed at Raya. " could you do that? It seems kind of dangerous," she murmured uncertain.

"Oh come on Ellie! You think everything's dangerous?" She squealed, "You saw the ceiling at the costume store, it's nearly triple the height of this place and I have the entire thing painted." she stated matter 'o factly.

"Well...that was very pretty... I guess if Vinny doesn't mind..." She murmured, stroking Chomps head as he purred in content." Any ideas?"

Akira raised an eyebrow when Vincent gave Graeme Alcohol and turned her head to Vincent "What about me? Don't tell me your going to stop me from drinking too."

Alistair sighed in relief that Vincent hadn't given her alcohol.

Shadae's eyes darkened as she spoke "I killed those damned royals who claimed to be her parents...those weaklings, for her sake. I almost got my daughter back but that trash twisted her, tricked her into thinking they cared." she scoffed "If it wasn't for them I would have had my Akira. Whats worse is because they foiled my plan to get her back shes now bound to that stupid prince so I have to capture both of them Alive to get my daughter back. I have to find a spell to break the bond, so much more trouble than would have been necessary if things went my way."

She stood up pacing "They blind her to the truth, they are trying to make her weak!" her eyes flicked back to Vahl "But I know she can be MUCH stronger"

a feral grin took over her face "Shes a perfect weapon, if we could take her back from them. It'd hurt them so much." she swiflty moved back to the chair she was in sitting back down her dress flowing behind her making her look like she had glided over. "Shes got influence on so many kingdoms, they'd follow her. She has many soldiers too. She has magic with the potential to be more powerful than mine, if she was trained properly she could destroy a whole kingdom with little effort!" she spoke with glee.

@thistle @Cryobionic

(Shadae I think you are overestimating her xD this is Akira we are talking about here maaaan.)

"What the hell are you talking about, 'Kira?" Vincent asked, raising an eyebrow, truly confused. He picked up the bottle of moonshine, holding it out to the fairy, "Am I supposed to read your mind, hm?" He teased, handing it to her with a grin.

Akira stuck her tongue out at him blushing slightly taking the bottle a bit embarrassed. "Thank you." she pulled open her purse and handed Vincent three one hundred dollar bills

Alistair rushed up to Akira "Your highness, please Prince Alexander will kill us both if he finds out, please don't drink!" he looked really nervous.

Akira turned her head slightly to him, smirked and opened the bottle of moonshine "Maybe you, but not me. I'm his wife." she started to chug the alcohol.

Alistair paled and walked off slightly whispering under his breath about sadistic evil princesses.

@Cryobionic

(Good lord girl why do you give such huge amounts of money?! O.o wtf? also CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG!)

Vincent reached out and took the bottle from the insane fairy, "Hey, do you want alcohol poisoning?" He snapped gently, regarding her with a raised eyebrow, "I meant for you to make yourself a drink or something, not chug," He looked at the bottle, and sighed, "a quarter of the straight moonshine. You're a lightweight, remember?" The demon placed the moonshine out of reach, rolling his eyes.

Akira frowned mumbling a "Who cares" a couple little tiny crystal fairies fluttered around the bottle latching onto it trying to pull it from Vincents hand. "Just give it back. Don't be like Alexander!" she glared slightly already slightly drunk. "Give it baaack" she whined "I need it" she was tearing up now reaching towards it as her small creations tried to rip it out of Vincent's grasp. Alistair having been watching her frowned at the Princess's odd behaviour and shot a worried glance at Vincent.

@Cryobionic

"Just hold on a moment, you drunkard." Vincent chuckled, reaching under the bar. He placed the bottle of pure moonshine well out of reach from both her, and her little... companions, before pulling out an identical bottle. He handed it to her with a small grin, inclining his head slightly in acknowledgement of her alcoholic state before walking over to Ellie to watch the spectacle from afar.
