Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Akira and Alexander were watching Raya and Oliver clean while talking to eachother when an enraged screech was heard from the doorway they cringed their eyes flickering to a plump older woman Her eyes landed on the two cleaning then moved over to Alexander and Akira "What in the world happened here?" The royal couple laughed nervously "Well err.. you see our friends..kind of got into a fruit war with eachother" Akira answered.

The woman raised an eyebrow "Why didn't you stop them?" Alexander sighed "We did, but a little too late." The woman's eyebrow raised higher and she pulled a rag off her belt throwing it at the at Alexander "They're your friends, You invited them in you have a responsibility" Alexander looked shocked "Why doesn't Akira have to clean?!" The woman chuckled "Because the Princess has had a hard time lately. I think she deserves a break, especially if she has to put up with you" Alexander raised an eyebrow "Gretilda!" Akira screeched laughing.

Gretilda smiled motioning Akira over "Come here dear, come here" Akira walked over and Gretilda pulled out her own handkerchief having Akira bend down slightly as she wiped her face holding Akira's chin so Akira couldn't get away, Gretilda licked part of the handkerchief and wiped at one spot that wouldn't come off so easily. "Really now" She huffed "You're still getting into a mess." she pulled away from Akira "You're going to have to have a bath thats stuck on good. Now let me have a look at you" she held Akira's shoulders and looked her over "No injuries from yesterday..good...good, Atleast no visible ones" she looked into Akira's eyes both of them understanding the meaning to those words

Gretilda sighed "However, you still need to eat more! Look at you! Honestly" she huffed grabbing Akiras wrist with two fingers "You're too skinny! You need some meat on those bones of yours so you can get strong enough to bear children" Akira blushed "Gretilda!" Gretilda smiled at how flustered Akira was. "I'm just worried about you dear, you need to take better care of yourself. You came back looking worse than when you left. We were all so worried when you had gone missing after you got engaged." she lightly pat Akira's arm just looking at her face "You were even skinnier, I'm glad to see improvement but... it still worries me y'know?" Akira nodded smiling "Thank you Gretilda"

Gretilda sniffed keeping back the tears that pricked her eyes and cleared her throat, "Lets go get you washed up shall we?" she spoke putting her hand on Akira's back leading her out "I'll be borrowing her for awhile" The two of them walked out of the Kitchen and to the baths.

Alexander grumbled and was washing the floors with the other two sending them glares but there was a smile tugging at his lips. A small sigh of relief escaped him "I'm glad to see the old hag is well"

"You shouldn't talk about your elders like that!" Estelle hissed, throwing a rag at Alexanders head. "It's rude! I thought you as a prince would know that!" she pouted, glaring at him.

Serathi smiled, burying deeper into her covers when a maid walked beside her timidly refilling her glass of red wine, "W-Won't master Vahl be upset when he discovers this?" she whimpered, letting out at a small squeak when Serathi gazed at her. "Why would he be upset, he is not my keeper and has no control over me," she answered, "B-but I thought you and him were in a relationship m'lady," the maid murmured timidly. Serathi smiled," We use each other for pleasure and entertainment," she smiled, "I like his...dedication to certain tasks and he likes my dark aura," she murmured. "I...I understand, I'll bring your dressing gown m'lady," she squeaked, walking towards Serathi's closet, as the dark lady sat up in her bed, drinking her red wine.

Ellie pouted, putting her head on the table as her stomach growled angrily at her. "Vinny...When can we go home?..." she whined, kicking the tables leg like a five year old. "I'm hungry and I want to go home and take a bath," she frowned, her eyes clouded with hunger and a tinge of anger.

"When everybody's ready to go." Vincent told her, raising an eyebrow at her odd behavior, "When Raya's done cleaning, Jun's back from wherever he disappeared off to and Ollie's..." The demon turned to look at the imp, snorting as he saw the spectacle, "When Ollie's done yelling at Alexander for ruining his work."

Ellie frowned as her stomach growled again. " Ollie~! Stop yelling at Alexander," she frowned. Elllie turned to Vinny, suddenly laying her head down in his lap. "My stomachs gonna eat itself," she cried.

"But he's completely ruining my work!" Oliver complained with a pout, crossing his sud covered arms over his chest, "He can't clean for shit." He grumbled, glaring at the male fairy.

"Oliver~!!" Ellie cried, glaring daggers the imp, before laying back down." Where did Akira go?..." she whimpered, looking at Alexander with confusion.

Alexander raised an eyebrow "I clean just fine, its not like I wanted to do this either" He crossed his arms aswell the two of them looking very childish.

Akira walked back in with Gretilda both of them giggling at the sight. Akira smiled at Ellie "I'm here" Gretilda spoke "Alright Alright, Go get cleaned up Pompous Prince"

Alexander smirked "Sure thing Old hag" Gretilda chuckled with a playful glare "Who are you calling old?" she smiled as Alexander walked past her hitting him lightly on the arm both of them laughing slightly.

Once he was gone Gretilda turned to address the others "I spoke with Akira about everything shes been through lately. I just wished to thank all of you for taking care of our princess. You're always welcome here, however if you make a mess we aren't cleaning it up" she chuckled smiling "I also heard from her about a flight to Paris. You better take good care of her hm? Don't let her or that Pompous prince act recklessly. Make sure all of you come back safely. Make sure next time you visit you bring that Maria girl. She sounds like a wonderful girl even if she is as the princess so elegantly puts it "rough around the edges" she does have a soft squishy heart by the sounds of it. Make sure Akira doesn't skip any meals, make sure she doesn't work herself too hard. If she acts stupidly just give her a good whack on the head" Akira pouted "Gretilda!"

Gretilda chuckled and turned hugging Akira "We'll hold down the fort while you're gone, be a good girl alright? If that rotten traitorous fairy returns don't let her get to you again. You always can remember you got us yes?" Akira nodded hugging her tightly smiling bright "Yeah." Gretilda smiled and gave Akira a slight pat on the back before pulling away "We also stopped so I could pick up a few things."

She walked up to Ellie handing her a small orb "For you my dear an orb that will help you find your way when you are lost or will help you show what others cannot see."

She then handed a vial to Vincent "If something shall not grow this will make it grow anew."

She walked over to Raya handing her a small ball filled with some sort of green goop "This is sticky and the fumes are poisoness do not use it for a prank. The only cure for it is the liquid of the stem of the flower its made out of. Which only grows in the Fairy, Pixie and Elven kingdoms"

She handed Oliver two rings "Simply put you can teleport between these objects. You can go as far as you can throw it."

She handed Estelle a small golden disk pressing a button on it which made it grow into a shield big enough to block her from anyone's view but it was still really light "Do I need to explain? Its heat resistant, cold resistant, can take quite the beating too. Seeing how you seem to like putting yourself in danger I figured this could atleast keep you Alive" when she said danger she nodded her head to Oliver remembering what Akira explained about what Estelle did for Oliver when Ase was beating him up.

She then handed the last gift a small dagger to Vincent "This is a dagger which was locked away in our vaults it can rip a hole into the light converting light to shadows for a few minutes. Its something we got off an enemy. Give this to your shade friend."

She smiled at them all "These are thank you gifts for helping the Princess, Use them wisely."

Gretilda sighed and walked to the door "Be careful and goodluck" she walked out the door

Ellie tucked the orb into her pocket, as Estelle looked at shield skeptically. "This is like the Chronicles of Narnia...Is that old lady Santa Claus?" she asked, looking down at the shield. "Estelle!" Ellie screeched, as the younger girl shrugged, "What!? It was a question!!"

Jun’s face was as blank as an untouched canvas, legs curled to one side, hands splayed against the floor as he stared sightlessly ahead of himself.

"How did you steal my appearance?!"

The words were a repeated chord struck inside his breast, plucked once and left to reverberate within the hollow fill of his chest. There was no doubt of what had occurred, or who he had just seen. And because of that, Jun had been prepared for an onslaught of questions to follow, ready to give into the chaos of his mind as it sought desperately for answers. Whatever they might have been , he had been prepared to devise a solution, to waste the hours away in order to find a plausible answer – that, or at least continue to bask in heady confusion.

Yet there was nothing.

His mind only hummed with gentle silence, rather than battered by a torrent of thoughts. Shock, so raw and unrefined, had been responsible for wiping out whatever response his body had prepared for him. The ideas were too faint and too fleeting to dwell upon, as they continued to roll in and out of his subconscious. It was like trying to cup a handful of sand – like the grains, his mind simply slipped from him through poorly sewn gaps.

Jun touched the area where the boy had been standing earlier, fingers trembling. Discovering the truth was paramount, that was without a doubt, for if the answers continued to be secreted away, he would certainly lose his mind.

Light stirred back into his eyes and Jun retrieved his hand, clutching it to the tattered ruins of his shirt and closing it over his half naked state as best he could.

It would be best for everyone else to know, he decided then, though not at this exact moment, given that it had only been a day after the wedding.

Jun picked himself up from the floor, pausing long enough to stare at the same spot his fingers had lingered, then turned to exit the room and head back to the kitchen.

He could bid his time for now, at least until they returned to the café. If anything, he knew there was one thing that could provide him with clues once they returned, and that was resting quietly in his apartment, folded up perfectly aside from the slight tear, and stained as red as the eyes that had bore into him earlier.

Oliver looked down at the two rings in hid hand, his core automatically going out to feel the magic embedded within the cold metal. They were very plain looking, just two silvery metallic rings, they were large too, which he noticed as he slipped one of them on to his soap covered thumb, admiring it as it sparkled in the light from the kitchen lamps.

With a small grin, he chucked the matching one across the floor, squealing as he felt himself disappear and get pulled towards the piece of jewelry, materializing just a split second later. "This is so awesome!" He exclaimed, picking the ring up again with a bright grin before tossing it again, giggling loudly as he teleported again. "And so much better than flaming!"

The imp placed the rings into his pocket with a laugh, "Though, I wonder what would happen if I tossed it into a metal pipe. How fast do you recon I would explode?"

Vahl’s time within the library lasted until the final piece of wood crumbled to ash, leaving a bed of low, simmering embers in their place. It was far too dark to see and night had collapsed against the skyline long ago, forcing the wisp to finally retire from the archive.

While he crossed the darkened halls, a slight movement to one side made him glance in passing. It was that of a woman, shrouded in dark silks and pacing quietly along the floor. Her back remained to him, revealing the set of wings that protruded on either side of her spine. Despite the dim lighting he noticed them scintillate as she turned a new angle and headed toward the other end of the room. She disappeared from view, and Vahl continued his way toward Serathi’s room.

When he arrived to find it empty, his steps lead him immediately to her private chambers. What he saw made him stop with his hand on the door handle, head tilted just a fraction, too distracted to notice the demoness herself. The sheets lay tangled in a fashion he was all too familiar with, and what remained of her dress was strewn across the floor, shredded to irreparable bits. Along the back of his hands and the hairline of his neck, he could feel the air still tingling from her latest exhibition as he finally closed the door.

Spotting Serathi, his eyes glowed as he made his way to the edge of the bed, leaning against the furthest bed post and noticing the fresh set of divots that decorated the upholstery. An indolent expression appeared then, lips tipped upward in knowing. “I took too long, didn’t I?” Vahl asked, acknowledging the set of claw marks with a tracing finger.

Serathi shrugged, taking the robe from the shivering maid before shooing her away. " You know I hate waiting, "She smiled, shrugging the robe on as she took her almost empty glass again, finishing it off. "I hope you had fun in the library," she smiled wickedly. Serathi was quiet for a few moments before addressing Vahl again, "Vahl, Do you remember the first time we met?" she suddenly asked, gazing out at the starry sky.

It wasn't the first time he had found Serathi reclining in the aftermaths of her latest lover. Until recently Vahl had finally reacquainted himself with the demoness, mainly to check in with his findings. Knowing of her often cravings and the extensive amount of time that had passed between them, Vahl knew that upholding a monogamous relationship with the woman had been far fetched, if not impossible. Vahl himself had dallied with a handful of past lovers, spending his nights in the bed of courtesans and a number of other pretty eyed patrons.

He viewed Serathi now, eyes following as she retreated to one of the ceiling high windows, gazing outward. The heavy look of sedation that coated her eyes, the promiscuous flick of a smile, the languid motion of her body - all were signs that usually accompanied her after she had slipped from bed. All, except the sudden softness that accompanied her voice.

It was unlike her, and quite strange. The uncharacteristic behavior reminded him of when she had asked him of Noire once in bed. Her entire demeanor had changed for an instant.

Vahl let out a short breath and turned to settle against the woodwork, arms crossed, still viewing her. "That was centuries ago," he said in answer, "before this land fell into complete corruption. Before the humans grew too bold for their own good."

Though time had passed since then, he could almost feel the frigid cold of winter settle into his bones, body racked with shivers as the wind howled and bit against his frost bitten face. The despair he had felt during that time, knowing he would be sent to serve under his father, had been so overwhelming that the wisp had collapsed in despair in the middle of the hail storm and forest. Why he had thought the Northern region would prove superior had been no one's fault but his own, the souls arriving in poor handfuls.

Vahl tore his eyes away, wishing to avoid such memories. "Serathi, what made you bring this up?"

Serathi ignored his question staring up at the stars, "Before I fell, I used to stare up at the stars and think ' How could some one as corrupt as God create something so beautiful,' they've always been in my memories, I never was cut out to be angel, they except perfection, for you to walk inside the lines, and I could never live like that, I hated it," she murmured, turning a lazy smile to Vahl. "They hold all of my memories, when ever I gaze up at them I feel a bit nostalgic," she smiled. "They say that when a angel falls, the pain is worse then anything imaginable, but to me...The feeling of god ripping those infernal wings from my back, it felt amazing freeing, those scars never fade you know...but they are badges of honor to me," she smiled smugly, as the large scars began to burn slightly at the thought of their creation. Something they hadn't done since Vincent was a child.

"Is it worth recalling those memories?" he asked with a curious look, unfurling his arms and resting them on the framework. "Besides," he added airily, pushing himself off to retrieve the bottle of wine and tipping the decanter into a chalice, "perfection is a flexible term. It is open to interpretation, varying from person to person." His lips touched the glass, sipping at the dark contents. "To reassure you further, I do believe my idea of perfection is quite different from those" - he extended a single finger to the ceiling - "up there."

Serathi let out a bitter laugh, "I do have good memories Vahl, like watching you torture the poor Northern Kingdom king," she smiled, turning toward the wisp.

Vahl recalled the screams with sudden clarity, rolling his head at the involuntary shiver that trailed a path down his spine. The man's already bloodied mouth had dropped open in disbelief when Vahl had taken a forging hammer to the man's knee caps, sundering the bones beneath and hearing them shatter as the King had crumbled to the floor, keening in pain. "Yes, and that was after I made do with his wife. I kept her alive though and handed her to you. What did you do with the Queen?" he asked, interested.

Serathi smiled, kicking out her legs like a child,"Nothing spectacular, I just ruined that pretty face she was so proud of and made sure she could never have children," she said brightly, remembering the young womans intense screams ringing through out the castle. "That queen was around Ellinor's age," she remembered fondly.

"That castle housed the final number of souls I needed to tip the balance in my favor," he murmured and tilted back his head to drain the glass.

The moment the kingdom had fallen into ruin, Vahl remembered standing at the precipice of one of the castle's balconies, watching as the earth split beneath his feet and allow his father passage to the mortal world. It was said his father would appear on the victor's grounds, and the wisp had nearly screamed in exultation when the first tremors had rolled beneath him, Charon appearing in view the next instant, groveling at their Father's feet in an act of mercy.

But there had been none, and Vahl had gazed on as his father had dragged his older brother between the gaping jaws and deep into the earth to return to the netherworld, Charon howling with defiance at that point.

Vahl smiled in well remembered pleasure and licked the edge of the glass, catching a stray droplet. "Will you be doing the same to the sweet witch?"

Serathi smiled, "No..That was quick and efficient, Ellinor's torture will be drawn out and cherished," she smiled darkly, crawling in Vahl's lap, taking the goblet from his hand, refilling it as she took a healthy gulp of the wine, some of the red substance trailing down her mouth.

Vahl eased around the corner of the bed until he was backed against the mattress, as she approached him, her body pressing him down onto the bed. Despite the temptation to stretch out along the bed and gaze upward while she straddled him, the wisp remained upright, feeling the pressure of her hips press against his own as Serathi's face edged near.

He knew the red line that stained her mouth was intentional, and to appease her, he took hold of her chin and pulled Serathi forward, catching it with his tongue. Vahl's words were as soft as the cool air as he grazed the back of one hand against her neck, sweeping the light tresses behind a shoulder. "I prefer clean sheets if you'd like to continue further."

Serathi tilted her head to one side, as she gazed intensely down at Vahl, dragging her nails down his chest, creating three elegant new scratches to add to his growing collection. "Then call a maid," she simply said, before catching the wisps mouth with her own, kissing him deeply.
