Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Serathi shrugged, "I don't know, most of the servants bring me my clothes from in the city," she murmured, gazing out at the army. "I think I have just the thing, to fix that," Serathi smiled, biting one of her long fingers just enough to draw a steady stream of blood down her hand, "A pure blood demons blood has many wonderful properties," she smiled, motioning for one of banshees to come forward, which she did reluctantly, looking down at the ground afraid of her ladies next move. Serathi smiled, forcing open the girls mouth, letting a single drop of her blood fall in the girls mouth, causing her to let out a blood curdling scream as she fell backwards on the ground spasming wildly. Finally her body stopped laying quietly on the floor, when once her friends came beside her to check on her, the banshee let out a animal like growl, pouncing on her friend as she began tearing into her chest, tearing out her innards in a almost frenzied display of anger. Even after her friend was only a pile of meat of blood the girl kept attacking , only stopped by Serathi snapping to get her attention. "That is one of them," she smirked.

"That's too precious," Quincy cooed clapping his hands together happily, doing a little dance before stopping, staring at the dark lady with an emotionless expression, "The question is though, can they be trained in that state?"

The nightmare's left eye twitched once, twice before a smile once more stretched it's way across his face, "The power of bloodmagic really is wondrous, isn't it? It can corrupt, destroy and build. Depending on the power of the one it belongs to, of course. I wonder if..."

The generals face fell expressionless once more, as his mind began to race with thoughts the nightmare himself couldn't even begin to grasp. His stare turning curious as he watched the girl bite into the others large intestine.

"They can still follow orders, just their conscious is gone, guilt, fear, humanity, every single on of them is gone,"Serathi smiled, stroking the girls hair like a pets. She sighed dramaticly, falling backwards on the platform, "Vahl has vanished again and I'm afraid I'll die of boredom before he returns," Serathi purred.

"Yes, he does seem to do that a lot, does he not?" Quincy questioned, poking one of the soldiers in the arm, studying his physique. The man's eyes rolled back into his head, and he collapsed against the graveled ground. The nightmare rolled his eyes, honestly. "Darling creature, your plaything is, hm? Impeccably dressed and exceptionally well raised, I would say. Though one can't fault a person for their parents, I suppose."

The general spun around, his bare feet crunching against the gravel as he began walking towards her, jumping up on the platform as he got close enough. His mind was a whirl, and he could hardly think straight as flashes of white and gold continually pressed at the forefront of his mind, clawing at his curiosity. It was quite bothersome, really. With a small giggle, he gripped his head, shaking it violently back and forth a few times. It helped a little.

"Do you wanna join me in torturing the traitors?" He suddenly asked, looking up at her, his red eyes twitching, "It should help you alleviate some of your boredom," as well as clear my mind, "And I have a fresh supply of poisons I'm just dying to try out."

Serathi smiled, drawing circles on the wood, "Please, Vahl is far from mine,he simply owes me a debt...The physical aspect of that the debt is simply a side effect," her eyes closing a memories began rushing back to her, of blood in the snow, and tall brown haired man, kneeling down before her, a look of awe on his pretty face, their first night together in the bed of the northern kingdoms king, his blood still fresh on Vahl's body. Serathi's eyes flung open, as she stared at Quincy a dark smile spreading across her face, "Actually, there is something else I would rather do," she murmured, kissing Quincy lightly on the lips.

(Dayum girl!! Take a break! xD )

"Tomato Tomato, darling, either way, it seems he's-" Quincy's sentence was abruptly cut off, his eyes widening a tad before fluttering closed as the dark lady's borrowed lips connected with his. Not much managed to throw him off, and this was no exception, he just hadn't expected the terrifying demoness to act so boldly. From his left he could hear a scandalized gasp from one of the soldiers, and he smirked against her lips.

As she drew away, he raised a pale eyebrow at her, hiding a smile behind his hand, "Why, you naughty thing, you." He purred amusedly.

Serathi smiled, jumping of the platform walking back to the mansion, not before throwing Quincy a smile that clearly said, Why don't you find out how naughty I can be?. She nodded at a maid pointing to the mess the banshee was making, "Clean it up before it stinks up the mansion," she ordered. "Ye-yes m'lady," the maid whimpered, turning a bit green when she saw the mess, the banshee growling territoriality at the maid.

The nightmare giggled and shook his head at the dark lady's entertaining behavior before jumping down from the platform, landing unnaturally silently in the gravel. It was not the distraction he had originally planned, but he supposed the end result would still be the same.

Quincy turned to the mess of soldiers, studying their shocked, terrified faces. With a shrug, he picket of the spear, twirling it around lazily, knowing he now had their full attention. In the corner of his eye he could see the maid pathetically trying to get close to the banshee's meal, and he suppressed a giggle.

"Dirty fighting," He said, his red eyes trailing over each and every one of them, narrowing ever so slightly as he noticed a ghoul in the far back, distracted by the banshee's animal like screams, "Is what you will be focusing on while I'm gone. Should any of you shirk your training..." The nightmare trailed off, and there was a distinct whoosh sound, followed by a dull thunk and a gasp of pain.

The general turned and skipped after the demoness, leaving the threat hanging in the air like a thick fog of terror, giggling as he heard the gurgling noises from the darling ghoul his spear had hit.

Ellie looked up at Akira and Alexander narrowing her eyes slightly, "And yet they acted like we were pulling teeth when he told them to clean up the cafe, " she grumbled, bitterly, the bags under her eyes lessened a little bit.

Raya frowned as Akira took away her blueberries and replaced them with a bucket and a sponge, "Jerks." She mumbled then wet her sponge and threw it at Oliver, "I still win!" she squealed then retrieved a mop and started cleaning, washing the area in a matter of seconds. She didn't like cleaning, but she had a tendency to start water fights... and whip cream fights... and food fights, "This sucks! Cleaning sucks!" she squealed then stuck out her toung at the clean floor."

"Don't do it like that, you idiot." Oliver snickered, grabbing the sponge from the protectors hands with a grin, "You'll just end up spreading the mess out on the floor, making it harder to clean." He explained, before getting back to work himself, "I'll take care of it, so quit ruining my work!"

Vincent watched the spectacle with a mixture of fascination and annoyance. Not at the couple on the ground, cleaning, but at the two fairies forcing them to. He couldn't help but feel a sense of bitterness at the fact that he had to threaten the newlywed couple with hell before they took responsibility over their own mess, and he would be lying if he said the situation didn't bother him a little.

As he heard Ellie voice his exact thoughts he looked over at her with an amused smile, "Did you read my mind?" He joked, walking over to her and putting a ahnd on her head, "How are you feeling? Less exhausted, I hope."

Ellie nodded, smiling up at the demon,"Yeah, my minds a lot clearer now," she smiled, curling up in her seat. "I'm sorry I was so stubborn before," she murmured, giving Vinny a sad smile.

Vincent raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest with a slight smile, "Don't apologize for something you had no control over," He told her, "It's not your fault you were sleep deprived." Which was very, very true and Vincent couldn't wait until they eventually caught the person responsible. While he knew nightmares needed to enter a persons dreams in order to feed, this one seemed to enjoy torturing Ellie in particular. Which was unacceptable and freaky, and the demon frowned as he thought it over.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see Oliver scrubbing at the floor, admonishing Raya for getting in his way and an unbidden smile stretched over hid face once more, "Did you miss the fruit war?" He asked, laughing.

"Fruit war?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, "Does this mean we don't have any apples, or strawberries!?" she asked, looking at Vinny as if she was going to start crying. "But....I really wanted some..." she pouted.

"You can have some when we get back to the cafe then, I'm sure." Vincent said softly, resisting the urge to laugh at the crestfallen expression on her face at the thought of missing out on the fruit. It was too adorable. "I'm not sure when we'll be leaving, though, probably when the two war heroes are done cleaning up their battleground."

The demon turned his head to look at them, his eyebrows rising in surprise at how quickly and methodically the imp worked. Half of the room was already spotless, including the counter tops in which there had been dishes and leftovers from Alexanders cooking. The imp himself had a rather focused look on his face as he scrubbed away, and his tongue was sticking out of his mouth in a childish display of concentration.

Ellie pouted, curling up in a ball, "I'm never forgiving Raya..." she pouted. Estelle sat on one the counters, kicking her legs playfully as she gazed down at Raya.

The demon hid a slight frown as he watched the normally happy witch curl up with all the ebullience of a wet cat. With a sigh he sat himself down in the nearest chair and placed his cheek in his hand, "We're not going to let the nightmare get to you again," He told her reassuringly, his eyes flashing with determination, "I promise."

Vincent leaned forward, gripping her hands with a small grin, "If he does, though, we'll catch him. And it'll be over."

"how can you promise...You can't enter my dreams...Raya can only enter my dreams and even she couldn't stop him..." she murmured coldly, burying her face in her knees. "He can keep using me as some sort of plaything and nobody can stop him," she cried, her voice beginning to break.

"Because we've already established two things," Vincent told her, leaning back into his chair at her cold tone, "That he can't enter your dreams without an apparition of him appearing, and that you're not going to sleep alone anymore. That, in it of itself, would alert any of us if he decides to come again."

He hoped. With everything going on around them, the approaching war, the dark fairy, the hunters, knocking down the doors of their fellow monsters, he wasn't really sure how much more the group could take before they all snapped. As he thought more about it, he realized some of them already had. Maria fleeing from the responsibility, Ase almost killing Oliver, Akira snapping at everyone... everything was going to the dogs to quickly to really take in properly and the demon could feel a flash of panick shoot through his chest at the thought of it.

And now this nightmare business on top of it all. He really couldn't blame Ellie for reacting with spite, and he was sure he probably would have done the same, had he been in her shoes. He let out a small groan as he ran a hand over his face, a nervous habit probably developed from stress. At least they would all travel to france within a few days. Maybe the council could offer some reassurance that everything in the world weren't going mad.

He looked around the room once more, his red eyes scanning the faces of everyone within. They all looked tired, worn out. Well, except for Raya, who was happily seeing how much foam she could spread over the tiled floor before Oliver noticed.

"We're going to stop the nightmares." He finally murmured, tapping his fingernails against the table, "One way or another."

Ellie looked up at Vinny, crawling in his lap hugging him tightly. "It'll be ok...Were all gonna be ok," she mumured, burying her face in the demons chest. "Everything will work out," she smiled, up faintly at Vinny. "Although, I'm really nervous to meet the council, Maria's only met them once but apparently, the leader Caroline was the right hand lady of Meredith, she's perfected almost every single type of magic known to man, especially how to make yourself eternally young," Ellie murmured.

"Caroline or Coraline?" Vincent asked, raising and eyebrow, "I always get the two confused." He explained with a slight shrug, his arms snaking around her waist. "If she really was the right hand lady of the forgotten one, she must be very anxious to meet you. I'd imagine it would be quite a shock for the esteemed leader to see you, too."

He gave her a playful smile, "Either way, I don't think it's anything to be nervous about. You know who you are, and so do I. It'll be fine."

"But...What if they don't believe me...They'll kill me on the spot! Lady Caroline is very sensitive to talking about Meredith, to the point if someone she deems unworthy even says Meredith's name in her presence she'll lock them away for 25 years!" Ellie squeaked.

"I think the moment they lay eyes on you, there will be no doubt about who you are." Vincent chuckled, tucking a strand of her hair behind her eat with a fond smile, "And if they still doubt you after seeing you... surely there must be some sort of potion or spell to test ones heritage, mustn't there?" The demon gave her a halfhearted grin, "Stop freaking out over it. Nothing bad is going to happen, and they would be fools to think you were lying."

Ellie nodded, smiling encouragingly up at Vinny. "And I'll have you by my side too," she smiled happily, hugging Vinny tightly.

Serathi raised her hand above her head in the dim light admiring the already healing bruise in the dim fire light. "I must say, You and Vahl do make lovely bruises," Serathi purred, turning to face the white hair nightmare besides her in her bed.

"That, I will be," Vincent smiled, cupping her cheek lightly, "As will everybody else, of course." He snickered before turning his head to look at Oliver and Raya, "Are you two nearly done?"

.....

The nightmare giggled softly, his voice a little hoarse, "You wound me so, darling~" He purred playfully, the corners of his red stained lips quirking upwards ever so slightly as he glanced up from lamenting over a broken fingernail, "Comparing my skills to that of your lovely wisp, hm? How could you."

The general's lips stretched into a full blown grin and a demented, cracked laugh bubbled up in his chest before he forced it down. "While this has certainly been an... interesting experience, I do think I must take my leave. There are screams to be heard, spiders to be caught... mysteries to be solved." The last part of his sentence was murmured, barely audible as he twisted himself out of the bed, his striped trousers back on his body in the blink of an eye.

"Do call me, should you ever feel particularly bored again, darling. Entertainment is, after all, what I do best." He singsonged as he danced from the room, a circus tune once more escaping his lips, in the form of a happy whistle.
