Seven Thousand Club
Vincent looked up from his conversation with Oliver, his eyes widening slightly as he saw Raya lead a very pale, disturbed looking Ellie into the kitchen. As he had left herin her room, he had almost began wandering off in the wrong direction, the long hallways and winding staircases of Akira's castle confusing even to his good memory, but had caught himself just in time, halting him from taking a wrong turn at the ballrooms.
The demon had then spent the last half hour trying to force Oliver to eat something, though the imp seemed worse for wear, declining to even smell the plate of sausages, claiming he didn't feel well. Vincent couldn't blame the boy, though, he was sure he wouldn't have felt very well, had he spent a night sleeping on the outside in the freezing September weather.
As Ellie sat down, the demon could see her eyes, empty and devoid of emotion, suddenly come to life as if snapped out of a blank state of not-quite-consciousness. Ignoring Raya's wave, he made his way over to her, his pace quickening as she began to break down, her eyes displaying emotions of terror so pure, it nearly startled him into a halt as he gazed into them.
"What happened?"
