Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Red eyes flew open as a small moan of protest escaped his slightly parted lips. That had been over too quickly. Way too quickly. While falling from extreme heights usually worked very well at getting a fear response, it was a finicky trick. The victim usually woke up before they had released enough terror, which was exactly what had happened this time.

Quincy's pale eyebrows drew together in a frown, he was far from satisfied, and a little irked the witch had managed to jolt awake so quickly. He reached up and brushed a stray piece of white hair from his face, the strand had been rebelling against his barrettes ever since the wisp had pulled them out, and he knew he would have to fix that too, soon.

The whole experience had left him feeling even more craving than he had been, and a feeling of disquietude began creeping into his mind, clouding it with a purple mist of restlessness. The nightmare stood up from his corsslegged position on the floor, stretching out his limbs as he tried rid himself of the annoying sensation. It had been some time now, since he had slipped up like that, and he did not like it. It felt wrong, unfair and completely-

"Back so soon?"

The words had left his mouth before he could stop them, his entire thought possess halted as the realization that darling, little Ellinor was back in dreamland once more registering withing his mind, and before he had the time to think it over, he launched his mind back into her dreams, a faint, translucent apparition of himself shimmering into view on her chest.

Elie let out a strangled cry, backing away when she saw Quincy, "No...please...Leave me alone!!" Ellie cried, collapsing on the floor, curling up into a ball, "I can't take it!! I can't take it anymore!!!!" Ellie cried.

Raya, who had been trying to get the water out of her severely abused phone turned when Ellie started panicking, "What the hell is that!" Raya squealed looking at the thing currently on Ellie's chest, "Ellie! Wakeup your having a-" Thump! Raya -before she knew it was crashing through the air, like flying on clouds then she landed on top of something, or someone. When she tumbled off someones back she started her own panic, "What the hell! What the hell! Cheese wiz! Fudge! Other words that represent swears!" She squealed then looked around, it was dark and Ellie was on the floor with a... ghost maybe a ghoul? She didn't exactly know what those creatures where "Um, am I in the wrong room?" She asked quietly.

Raya then looked at the male who was previouy on Ellie's chest, "Jeez dude! Have some curtesy! Are you trying to squish her boobs or something!" She asked crossing her arms in an annoyed manner.

Ellie looked up from where she had trying to avoid eye contact with the nightmare, "R-Raya?..." she whimpered softly, tears going down her face as she stared at her friend, "H-How did you get here?" she whimpered.

Quincy's head snapped around at the sound of the unfamiliar voice, his red eyes going a little wide as he gazed upon the blue haired girl, stumbling around like a drunken person. She looked quite befuddled and disoriented, and the nightmare raised a single, elegantly shaped eyebrow, studying her with a slightly confused grin.

"Such a dirty mouth, you naughty thing." He murmured for the sake of having said anything at all. The girl was obviously an outsider, not belonging in Ellie's mind in the slightest. There was also the fact that he could smell the damp scent of algae on her, which only added to his conclusion. With a wave of his hand, he had Ellie trapped in a cardboard box to small for her to breathe in properly, to ensure he could still continue to feed off her terror while conversing with this new, interesting enigma of a girl.

"And who may you be, doll?"

Ellie let out a high pitched screech, struggling against the box, "Let me out!!! Let me out!!!" she screeched, starting to hyperventilate. "Please let me out!!!" she cried.

"My mouth is not dirty! I brush twice daily! Sometimes three if I have beans." She stated then her eyes widened as Ellie was practically stuffed into a tiny cardboard box. With a flick of a finger the box was burned open and Ellie was left splayed on the floor, "Are you Okay?" She asked, plopping down beside Ellie and checking her over. Cuts, no. Bruises, a few, "I'm Raya, who the hell are you?" She asked raising a slightly less elegant eyebrow. She ran her hand over her neck, pushing down on the bruises just to make sure she wasn't dreaming, "Ouch!" She yelped. Definetely. Not. Dreaming.

Jun, having remained behind in the kitchen with Vincent and Oliver, was currently watching the imp paint ketchup doodles on the counter top, small chortles of delight escaping him every now and then, when a knock sounded at the door. It was one of the castle servants, scanning every which way in hopes of finding who Jun could only assume was Akira. He would have returned his attention to Oliver then, or even to Vincent, who was teetering on the brink of boredom based on his expression, but the servant held something in particular that ripped Jun's eyes back to him.

Balled into a messy pile and reeking of tomatoes were his pajamas from before. Having been whisked from the room by Akira, there had been little opportunity to ask what would become of the borrowed sleepwear. But there it was, hefted in the man's gloved hand.

Slow and unintentional, his fingers curled into his palms, making slight fists as they rested against his legs. What in the world was he doing with those? Was he trying to embarrass himself in front of the others? Those were his, he should take responsibility. An irrational sense of annoyance gripped Jun then, clenching tighter within his chest as the man began to walk away from the entrance and carry away his clothes.

"Your highness," he called, passing the shade with what looked like a dismissive sniff, "these were left in the bathroom. If you want, I shall dispose of them..."

There was a sharp clap of interruption as Jun, with sudden agility, shoved himself away from the counter top. "Drop those!" he snapped savagely . "Who said you could touch them?" Before he could receive an answer, the shade crossed the room in three strides and ripped the wad of clothing from him, eyes jaded.

The moment the weight fell into his hands, a switch went off in his head, and Jun blinked wildly in profound confusion as he realized his sudden manner. He gaped, trying to grasp for a hasty apology, but found nothing.

"I...I mean," he stammered, voice hushed, unable to keep the shock completely from his face "I'll take care of that." With his heart beating in his ears, Jun left the room without another word, racing back towards his room.

Ellie whimpered, looking up at Raya as she took deep gasping breaths, "T-thank you..." she whimpered, gripping the edge of Raya's shirt tightly, as if afraid she would go away.

The nightmare watched as the girl cast his box into flame, the fear radiating of Ellinor dimming ever so slightly as she recognized her friend, and as the ability to breathe returned to her. How absolutely tiresome this girl had turned out to be. Quincy lifted a hand, pressing the back of his fingers against his lips, hiding a smile.

"You're quite the hero, aren't you?" He giggled, his nose wrinkling in slight distaste, "But do tell me you aren't actually about to stand between me and my meal, it would prove to be much to bothersome."

Quincy danced up to them, leaning over backwards to stare into Ellie's opal blue eyes, the top of his white head touching the inky blackness of the floor, "That is my meal, darling, not yours. It's my plaything." His tone sounded bored, drawling, but the edge to it left no illusion of the meaning behind his words.

His mind was racing as Jun fled away from the scene and down the halls. There was no logical explanation for his behavior from before. His emotions had simply ignited and shot off like a loaded gun. He intended to toss the insignificant pile of clothes into the sink as soon as he arrived, but just before he reached his room, a noise caught his ear.

It was Ellie's room, and it had contained something close to distress. Halting on a dime he gave the door a timid knocking, feeling his heart begin to slow. There was no answer. Jun waited a moment longer, and at another muted cry, turned the handle and slipped inside.

The clothes were forgotten in an instant as he spotted both Raya and Ellie unconscious on the ground. It was the latter of whom he had heard, Ellie's face contorted into an expression of silent anguish. Instinctively, the shade hurried to her side, gripping her shoulders, but as he reached out to the furthest one, his hand went inexplicably cold as if it had passed through mist. The shade wrenched back instinctively, gasping in surprise.

Raya's eyes narrowed, her eyes going into the familiar glow, "Protector, not hero." She spat, her eyes taking up a much brighter glow then they usually did. Then he called Ellie his plaything, "It, has a name!" She screeched, flame now dancing around her fingers, "And she is not your freaking meal. She is not your Plaything." She yelled standing up from beside Ellie, her body in the normal world surrounding itself in whorls of flame, "Don't talk about her like she's some worthless freaking rag, I'll be a bothersome fire breathing bitch if I wan't but don't call her your freaking Plaything!" She yelled holding up her hands and sending them forward, forcing a burst of Thorns and flame straight at the male, "Get the hell away from her!"

Quincy tutted his tongue as her feeble attempts at executing some honorable form or 'revenge' shot straight through him, his body twisting on itself with glee, "Protector?" He questioned through his laughter, cartwheeling over to the blue haired girl, causing little Ellinor to shrink into her friends side, "How delectable! How very entertaining! Oh, darling, when you expire, I simply must have you join-"

The nightmare stopped mid twirl, his sentence cut off with a start as his red eyes widened slightly, his hand pressing against his own stomach. "What in Houdini's cursed name is it now?" He asked lightly, to nobody in particular. The nightmare lifted his head, looking at the two girls with a slightly curious expression marring his features before his strawberry colored eyes narrowed the slightest, causing the two of them to sink into the ground, their legs quickly submerged in a dark, black tar-like liquid, "I do so hate to dine and run," He said apologetically, shrugging his thin shoulders as Ellie's screams began to ring in his ears, sounding as beautiful as funeral bells at midnight, "But it seems someone is set on interrupting out little game."

With that, the nightmare faded out of Ellinor's dream, deliberately materializing on top of her sleeping form to see just who it was who had dared interrupt his meal. He only had a few seconds before he would get pulled back into his original body, but that, in his mind, was more than enough time to give this inconsiderate interrupter a piece of his mind, "Darling, I don't know if you've ever..."

His words caught in his throat once more, as red, twitching eyes connected with widened golden ones, and whatever threat he had been about to utter fell into shocked silence.

"Raya!!"Ellie cried, wriggling around in the substance, "Now you know why I can't sleep!! He'll find me!! He always ends up finding me!!!!" Ellie screeched, beginning to sob hyperventilating.

Raya shot up her eyes widened in panic as she sucked in sharp breaths. She blankly heard Ellie's words then placed her hand on Ellie's wrist and let her power calm the girl, "I... noticed." She whispered, looking at the charred area around her, "What the heck...?" She asked herself running her hand over the now black part of the blanket she had been laying on. She looked up, noticing Jun, every instinct in her screamed to just hug the both of them to make sure they where real but she didn't instead she ripped her eyes away and looked Ellie in the eye, "Does Vincent know? You have to tell him if he doesn't." She stated then hugged her, "We'll get rid of that thing. I promise."

Jun had just finished flexing his afflicted hand in order to return to Ellie's side, but as he reached over the air shimmered before him. Particles formed, piecing together and condensing, and as the figure grew substantial, Jun found his outstretched hand mere inches from ian unfamiliar face. The eyes that looked back at him were flooded with shock, as though Jun had exclaimed something offensive at his appearance. But the room remained deathly silent as the shade grew rigid beneath the growing stare.

The next instant his hands flew forward, shoving the boy off from Ellie. "What did you do to her?" he cried and cupped Ellie's face with urgent hands, noticing the visible sheen that marked her brows. "What have you done to both of them?"

Raya removed Jun's hands from Ellie's face then crossed her arms, "Calm down!" She squealed then grabbed his shoulders, "We are fine!" She yelled then sat back down, "Ellie claimed that she couldn't sleep because of bad dreams, so I sat beside her and said I'd wake her up if she had a bad dream. Next thing I know me and her are who knows where with some creepo and he was trying to feed on her then called Ellie his plaything. I freaked out then tried to burn the guy. He dissapeard after that and we woke up." She explained, letting go of his should before slumping against the wall, "He called Ellie his plaything... and my powers barely affected him." She whispered quietly, bringing her knees up to her chest. Apparently she was scared of nog being able to protect someone.

The other seemed visibly stunned by Jun's actions. He couldn't tell if the boy had been knocked out in the process but Jun had no intentions of checking on him as he went to Raya's side, catching the stream of words. "Raya," he said, his hands trembling still, "he's still here. We need to leave before he wakes up." It was the first time he had rested his hands on her since the Halloween party, and despite everything, Jun's touch remained light upon her shoulders. "Let's get Ellie out of here and find the others."

The nightmares red stained lips parted, his eyes narrowing dangerously as he continued to stare at the other white haired male. There was no mistaking it, the same slightly up turned nose, the sharp, elven like chin, the birthmark under the boys right eye and even the scar over the boys pale cheekbone were all exactly identical to his own features.

"What-" Quincy felt himself being pushed backwards, his sharp reflexes failing him in his moment of confusion, sending him crashing against the floor his head bouncing off the wooden planking, causing his barrettes to fly our of his hair and disappear from sight.

Knowing he had limited time on his hands, the pull from his body already beginning to strain on him, Quincy scrambled back over to the boy, his bangs now nearly covering his eyes and reached out, grabbing the collar of his shirt. In one swift motion, the nightmare had ripped it open, the buttons so methodically sewn to the fabric flying every which way, scattering across the floor.

There, on the boys exposed chest, clear as day and illuminated by the light of the crescent moon shining in from the window, were three large, diagonal scars marring his pale skin.

"How did you do this?" The nightmare hissed, a demented giggle bubbling up from within him, piercing his words in sporadic intervals as he stared down at the all too familiar markings, "How did you steal my appearance?!"

The general lurched forward, intending on grabbing at the boy, forcing the information from him if need be, but right as his purple painted fingernails were about to scratch against his shoulders, the pull became overpowering, dragging the nightmare back into his corporal form.

Kneeling and with his back towards the other, Jun was unprepared for the attack as he was wrenched forcibly away from Raya - the world reeling for one unsteady moment - and into the face of the assailant. His eyes were wild, blood red and crazed, and the boy's hands were frantic as they seized his shirt in an iron grip. Instinctively, Jun's own hands flew to his wrists, intending to rip them away, but in an abrupt gesture that caught him off guard, his hold was broken as the assailant buried his fingers into his shirt and tore it open.

Terror overwhelmed him at the violent action, and, stunned, Jun almost collapsed to the floor, barely catching himself on his elbows. Nothing but a dark silhouette stared down at him, words seething beneath a mad filled breath, punctuated by deranged laughter as Jun listened in paralyzed fear. There was no time for the words to sink in as Jun reeled back completely onto the floor, the boy reaching for him with desperate fingers. It sent his senses screaming once more as he finally saw what had driven the boy into madness, a face that perfectly resembled his own looming over.

The shade turned his head aside sharply, cheek pressed into the woodwork so hard that he could feel the start of a bruise. A pressure at his shoulders made him tense in preparation. Then, like a sharp breath of air, the weight disappeared.

Very slowly, Jun peered upward. The boy was no longer there, and when he sat up there was no trace of his presence. He was simply...gone.

Vanished.

Only the fast beatings of his heart and the irreparable damage done to his shirt was evidence his twin had even existed.

Quincy jerked violently as his subconscious returned to his physical body, his eyes shooting open as he lurched forward. The nightmare caught himself with his palms, rolling over and coming to a stop in the middle of the dark hallway, the faint torchlight illuminating his face, drenching his white skin with an orange glow.

At least he wasn't hungry anymore.

The general gripped his head, flashes of the other boys face, his face, shooting through his mind, clouding his vision in white and gold, hindering his ability to think straight. There was a persistent, clawing fog of uncertainty seeping into his mind, making him twist his body around sporadically as he tried physically gripping for the answer just millimeters out of his reach, tried to reach memories he knew just weren't there.

Quincy let out a high pitched laugh, his hands tightening around his head, nails digging into his scalp as he frantically tried making sense of what he had seen. He couldn't... his broken mind wouldn't cooperate, and in a desperate attempt to understand he wrenched off his own shirt, and stared down at his own, pale chest.

Three diagonal scars stared back at him, pale and almost glowing in the light from the torch.

The nightmare ran a finger over them, feeling the rough, uneven lines as he traced the scars which had always been there, for as long as he could remember. They had been there when he had first entered the circus, and they had been there when he had strangled the ringmaster.

The very thought that someone, somewhere was in the possession of the very same scars, and his very own face, made his teeth clench together painfully as a grin began to etch its way across his face, his previous discombobulated feelings of anger ebbing away into something much more dangerous.

Curiosity.

Ellie watched with wide eyes as Quincy attack Jun, letting out a loud scream of panic, only calming down when the nightmare evaporated in thin air. She turned to Raya, avoiding the girls gaze,"O-of course Vinny knows," Ellie murmured, curling up into a ball, "He was there when that....thing first attacked me..." she whined. She looked up to smile at softly at Raya, "Thank you....for saving me Raya, I'd hate to think what he'd have done if you weren't there..." she smiled faintly, looking as tired as ever. "I...I'm gonna go and try and find Vinny know," she smiled, getting up from her bed, wobbling out of the room and toward the kitchen.

Raya looked over and jumped, "He's still he-" she started frowning as she was cut off, the next thing she knew the man had lunged at Jun, tearing his shirt open and exposing three jagged scars. She winced at the sight then whipped her head over at Ellie as she screamed then before she knew it, the male was gone and Ellie had left the room, "What the...?" She muttered looking over at Jun, "Okay, if your gonna die just scream." She stated then pointed at his chest, "Also I think your missing some shirt." She said then stuck her toung out before walking over to the door and popping her head out, "Ellie! Your going the wrong way!" She squealed chasing the girl down the hallway and turning her around then leading her to the kitchen.

Once they made it inside she shoved a plate of food in front of Ellie before waving Vincent over.

Ellie picked up a grape, popping it in her mouth as she looked up at Vinny with wide eyes, "Vinny? Why are you in my room?" she asked him. She then looked around, a look of confusion growing on her face. "Why aren't I in my room?" she whimpered, "Am I in another nightmare again?..." she whined. She looked up at Vinny, with fear in her eyes, "Please....Just leave me alone already....I can't take it anymore....I'm going crazy!!!!" she screeched, curling up in a ball in her seat, "Papa....Vinny....Anyone....Please make it top....." she whimpered, shaking like a leaf.
