Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Alexander leaned over Akira as they made the cake "Really you suck at this. It says two eggs Little bird TWO eggs! You can't even crack eggs right" he took her hand and put the egg in it helping her crack it perfectly Akira giggled a light blush on her face and a bit of pink in her hair. "I just thought six eggs would make more" Alexander sighed "Oh Little bird... I have a wife who can't cook or bake!" Akira laughed again "Well thats okay husband because you can. I'll just sit doing paperwork and running both our kingdoms" she teased.

------

A servant walking by looked surprised at the collapsed Ellie "Lady Ellinor are you alright?"

----

A servant found Vincent "Good morning Lord Vincent. I've been searching for you for awhile I was worried when you were not in your room. Please follow me to the kitchen" The servant led the way making sure Vincent was following, they soon came upon the door to the kitchen the Servant opened it and stepped Aside letting Vincent go in and giving him full view of the baking & cooking married fairy couple.

-----

A servant roamed the halls when she found Estelle "Lady Estelle?" she giggled "I don't think thats the most efficient way to get around My lady." the Servant unwrapped the blankets from around Estelle and hoisted her onto her back "Lets get you to the kitchen" she walked piggy backing Estelle the whole way to the kitchen a smile on her face happy to help.

-----

A servant knocked on Jun's door "Lord Jun! Are you awake? Its time to get up!"

---

Another servant roamed the halls looking for Raya "why of all people did I have to get Lady Raya?" she grumbled

Estelle started struggling when the servant touched her, bitting the poor persons hand. When she was let go, she rolled back in her covers glaring at the servant, "To cold!" she hissed, her hair wriggling with madness, as her eyes narrowed to look like a snakes.

Ellie groaned, looking at the servant, "To tired....to hungry," she whined.

Vincent followed after the servant, looking around at the hallways curiously as they went. It really was a lot different, and the stark contrast between this castle, and the royal hellish one he had been in previously was nearly shocking. The demon shoved his hands into his pockets as they got to the kitchen, smiling his thanks to the servant before stepping inside.

What met him was probably even more shocking and weird than the entirety of the castle's decor put together. Akira was covered in flour, and were those eggshells in her hair? The counters, of which there were many, were covered in batter and Alexander was looking decidedly irked by the entire situation. Deciding to linger a bit and watch them, Vincent remained in the doorway, leaning himself against the frame with a smirk on his face.

"If this is the state of your marriage already," He called out with a laugh after a while of watching them banter, "I must say I fear for your future children."

The servant giggled at Ellie "Lady Ellinor, I could lead you to the kitchen if you wish."

----

The kind faced Servant of Estelle was no longer so kind she glared "Lady Estelle! Princess Akira and Prince Alexander are waiting for you all in the kitchen, they are making breakfast themselves for all of you. Unless you wish to waste their hard work and miss breakfast you'll get out of those covers right now!"

---

Akira smiled when she seen Vincent "Vincent! I'm helping Alexander cook and bake!" Alexander scoffed "More like helping me ruin the kitchen go talk with Vincent" Akira pouted "But-" Alexander interrupted "no! You're making a huge mess just like last time and the time before that and the time before that. I have to hurry and get everything ready and I can't watch you." there was a grumble of "what am I a child?" Alexander chuckled at that "Akira, do you want me burning your castle down? No? then get out of the kitchen please." Akira sighed and walked over to Vincent as Alexander then had the room he was quickly working around the kitchen, it looked as natural to him as breathing.

Akira sighed watching Alexander nudging Vincents ribs "isn't Alex cool when hes in the kitchen?!"

@Elfia Nightwing @Cryobionic

Estelle glared, inching away, slowly, "I have snake blood! The cold could kill me!! Go away!!" Estelle hissed.

Ellie nodded, looking up weakly, "Yes please..." she whimpered.

"Yeah, absolutely gorgeous." Vincent deadpanned, before snickering a little, "Seriously, though, I think you and I have just found something we have in common. I'm absolutely horrible in the kitchen. Though, that may have something to do with the fact that I can't eat anything." He admitted with a slight shrug, sending the newlywed fairy a sheepish grin.

The servant smiled and grabbed Ellie's hand in her own to bring comfort to her. She led Ellie through the hallways they opened the door to the kitchen to see Alexander shooing Akira over to Vincent out of the kitchen while he worked.

----

Akira giggled, Alexander sighed grumbling about idiotic wifes "Akira" he caught her attention "Later on I am going to drill into your head how to damn well cook and NOT kill people!" Akira's eyes lit up "You'll tutor me?!" Alexander nodded smiling "yeah" Akira nudged Vincents ribs "You should join Vincent!"

(now I'll go shower brb asap)

Vincent snorted. "Absolutely not. Not unless you wish me to burn this entire castle to the ground, stone walls or no, it will happen." He laughed, before turning to look at the door as it opened. "Morning!" He called out, waving at the tired looking witch.

Ellie ignored Vinny's cheerful voice walking over to a counter, her head crashing against it causing flour to explode in her hair. "Vanilla," she murmured sniffing the air, "The batter needs vanilla in it, it smells to bitter," she murmured as if in a trance.

Fingers glided across the worn parchment in vague interest as Vahl continued to flip through the dusty novel. The open fireplace had warmed his leathers long ago, encouraging the wisp to remove his jacket where it now hung like a dark shadow on the back of a nearby chair. Rather than retiring to Serathi's chambers as he so often did, Vahl had found himself favoring the library to engage in simpler pleasures.

After setting fire to the cold hearth and scanning the shelves briefly, a book had been plucked from its holding at random where the wisp had soon retired to a nearby desk. Wetting his fingers lightly, Vahl had then begun to page through the novel with an idle gaze, the paper crackling every so often as he flipped to the next side, preferring to remain on his feet than take the stool beside him.

The heavy text, faded and moth bitten, contained records of the past atrocities committed by his fellow hell bound companions.Ranging from simple beheadings to the most deviant usage of poisons, Vahl continued to flip through the records, intending to find the section of dalliances and torture, when a certain name caught his eye. He made a curious sound beneath his breath while tracing the name Vincent Buckley, and read over the small description that followed his account.

A single elven child with a bad stroke of luck, apparently. Even the date and location had been penned into the sheets, but Vahl could hardly make sense of the flowing script that marked the child's clan name. Though he had been alive for many centuries there were still things that stumped him.

Jun, for instance, was always a constant puzzle, innocent and ever cautious. Vahl wondered when he would deliver the shade to Serathi. He had grown quite fond of the responses he elicited from the boy, and would find it an eventual pity when he finally disappeared from the world. There was also the matters of Ellie to consider, for how would she react once he confessed his previous relationship with her very own mother? Even the residents of this mansion made the wisp's mind turn, the gears shifting ever continually in the private works of his head.

By far, the one who disturbed him the most was the newly instated general. Not only were Quincy's mannerisms highly disconcerting, but there was something off about him. It bothered him to no end for, ultimately, there was no explanation behind Vahl's suspicion for the nightmare. It was just there.

The wisp took a deep breath, making his shadow grow on the wall behind him, and with a shake of his head turned the page to continue forth with the book.

Ellie kicked her legs weakly, letting out a whine,"Vinny..." she whimpered, sniffling softly. "Food...and Coffee...first coffee..." she whimpered.

There was a distinct slap, thump, slap, thump sound that echoed down the halls of the manor, the sound bouncing off the walls in a distinct, rhythmic pattern as Quincy back-flipped lazily down the corridors, his hands connecting with the slabs only for a second before his feet swung around, meeting the floor with a thump.

He wasn't really sure where he was heading, and it was kind of difficult to achieve a sense of direction when one's brains were shaken by ones preferred way of traveling, but that, in the nightmares mind, only made for a more interesting time. And he desperately needed an interesting time.

Had he known the dark lady would converse with their newly acquired fae for so long, and about things as boring and uninteresting as the state of the war and when and where it would be best to launch their next attack, he would have declined even showing up for the meeting. After an hour of them talking senselessly back and forth, the nightmare had been about ready to fall asleep. A rather impressive feat, considering it was actually physically impossible for him to do so.

So after loudly exclaiming that he was done with being in the room, he had left. Nobody had objected, and he hadn't expected them to.

A slight giggle escaped him as he kicked off from the floor, spinning around in the air for little bit before landing silently on the tips of his toes in front of a thick, wooden door. He wobbled a bit, the world around him spinning for the briefest of seconds, before he righted himself up again and entered the door on foot, curious to see what lay within.

A small moan of disappointment escaped his red stained lips, however, as he took in the contents of the room. It was a library. Filled to the brim with nothing but boring, dusty old books. The smell of the old paper hit his nose, and he scrunched it up appropriately. He had expected some long forgotten torture chamber, perhaps, or maybe even an entrance to a secret dungeon, but instead he was greeted with this? This room filled with nothing but old, forgotten knowledge of times long since past and-

A smile stretched across Quincy's face as he scanned the room once more, his red eyes landing on the single occupant he had managed to miss earlier. With a giggle, he danced up to the wisp, stopping in front of the taller man with a grin.

"Hello there, stranger~"

Roused by the muffled call on the other side of the door, Jun poked his head out beneath the sheets and sat up, knuckling the sleep from his eyes. An intense look of bewilderment crossed his features as he stared down at the dove colored blankets in question. A moment later he realized his whereabouts and slid out onto the carpeted floor to answer the persistent knocking.

Though he sensed it was morning there were no windows within the room, a thoughtful notion by Akira, and Jun blinked against he light as he opened the door. "Is something the matter?" he asked, voice thick with residual sleep.

@RegalWindstar

Alexander chuckled and started brewing up coffee. "Coffee will be ready soon Ellie"

Akira giggled "Vincent I doubt you're that bad. Besides I've burnt down this place more times than I can count." Alexander raised an eyebrow at that "Wait...thats why I could never use the kitchen whenever I came?!" Akira smiled and Alexander sighed "Now I really don't want you in the kitchen. Crazy woman" Akira laughed at that "Love you too Alex." Alexander smiled at that

The Servant sighed "Lord Jun, Everyone should be at the Kitchen by now ready for breakfast. The Prince and Princess are cooking today. Please hurry and get dressed. I shall take you to the kitchen once you are ready" @thistle

Estelle wiggled into the kitchen, followed by the angry servant as Estelle hissed at her, her hair looking like cipers posed to strike, "Don't touch me," she hissed, her eyes now a dark burgundy.

Ellie whined, "That's not now!!" Ellie cried, kicking like a two year old, "Vinny~!!!" she whined, "Make it go faster!" she cried.

Akira smiled as Estelle entered noticing the Angry servant. She turned and took a few steps "Good morning Estelle" The Servants eyes widened when Akira spoke she bowed "You're highness if you don't need me for anything else I shall take my leave" Akira nodded "You are dismissed" The Servant scurried off.

Akira walked to the coffee pot as it finished brewing and poured Ellie a cup sitting it next to her giggling at how Ellie was acting. "its not as good as the coffee at the cafe but its still pretty good."

Raya's Servant sighed as she kept searching she seen the pranked Council run pass her and she couldn't help snort with a small giggle. She finally found Raya at the stairs "Finally! Lady Raya! We must get to the Kitchen. Everyone should be there by now. Also it wasn't the wisest idea to prank the council now the princess has to deal with their whining." she smiled slightly "I have to admit it was pretty funny though" @DestinyRed

Estelle hissed, glaring at Akira. "DON'T TALK TO ME" she growled. " Gorgons get moody when it gets colder,"Ellie murmured,"I'M NOT MOODY!!!"Estelle shrieked, throwing the blender at Alexander. "They get very moody," Ellie murmured.

Akira glared "Estelle do not throw stuff at my husband! Is this your kitchen? No its not, your ruining other people's property. Is that a very nice way to act? If you act like a child I WILL treat you like one, do you want that?" she stood to her full height scolding the girl. @Elfia Nightwing

Raya pulled her hand back from the painting and looked at the servant, "Finally? How long have you been looking?" She asked, "And trust me, ever idea I have is a bad one." She stated with a laugh then looked back at the painting, tracing a petal on the Dahlia flower with her finger before swinging her arm out and pointing at the stairs, "Lead they way."

The servant smiled and led the way helping Raya avoid the council even taking a couple secret passages. They made it to the kitchen and she opened the door stepping aside for Raya.

----

Akira raised an eyebrow crystals surrounded Estelle lifting her into the air making her unable to move and floated to the corner facing the wall keeping her there "You're in time out. Since you decided to act like a child you'll take a childs punishment. I don't want to hear a peep from you until breakfast is done you are to remain silent and think about how you're acting. Do you understand?! You WILL stay here until breakfast is ready and you WILL stay silent."

Alexander smiled at Akira "I'm starting to think one day you'd make a pretty good mother" Akira blushed "Alexander do you want to die?" Alexander grinned "Nope! But really who in their right mind WANTS to die?" Akira glared at him "Alex.." Alexander whistled as he continued to work.

Alexander smiled softly "you're really fond of the orphans, we could always adopt them you know." Akira sighed "We only just got married Alex. It'd look strange if we adopted anytime soon and with everything going on any child of ours would be in danger. We will have to wait for peaceful times" Alexander sighed "Just think about it Akira, I could definitely protect you both. Please just think about it" Akira sighed and smiled with a nod "Alright I'll THINK about it." Alexander sighed in relief "That's all I ask"

@Elfia Nightwing @DestinyRed

Estelle glared at the wall, starting a small fire in her corner, I'm not talking technically, she thought to herself, smirking sightly.

Akira groaned and Alexander got a bucket filling it with water and putting out the fire Akira glared at Estelle "No starting fires either! Do you want to burn a whole entire castle down because you're being punished for damaging someone elses property and acting very rude in someone elses home?!" @Elfia Nightwing

Shoes clapped against the cold tiled floor, breaking the streak of silence, as another visitor entered the archive then. At first he believed it to be one of Serathi's servants come to fetch him from the room, but the steps lacked a uniform drumming as the occupant drew near, which made Vahl disregard the former idea. Cooing and halting before him in a breezy fashion, Vahl almost wish it had been one of the insipid, stuttering handmaids as Quincy settled on the other side of the table.

He refrained from leaving room just because of the nightmare's appearance, as unwelcome as it may be. Vahl, thinking to discourage any interaction between them, bent over a stack of old documents he had unfurled earlier, both sides flattened by a set of paper weights, and pretended to inspect the curling script. Eyes trained on the paper, the wisp's only sign that he continued to acknowledge the nightmare's presence was marked by a single finger as it continued to tap soundly against the table. It was a slow, calculated beat, but revealed the wisp's irritation none the less.

Vahl's gaze flicked upward, fleeting, before dropping back down. When it grew obvious that the nightmare had no intention of leaving him, his hand ceased its movement. "Quincy," he finally said, sounding as though he addressed a stubborn child, "I never thought of you as one for books. Or," he added while making deliberate eye contact with the nightmare, "silence, for that matter."

@Cryobionic

Estelle glared, hissing at Akira, "It's no use trying to talk to her, when she gets like this...."Ellie murmured, not lifting her head off the table.
