Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

"Remember when you first came to the cafe, Akira?" Vincent called out, moving closer to the corrupted fairy, "Remember when you made the light shows for the kids in the cafe, and made them all laugh?" He continued, a ghost of a smile coming over his tired features, "You persuaded me to hire you, you know. I hadn't really considered letting anyone take Ase's position, but somehow..." The demon shook his head with a small, strained laugh, "Somehow you managed to convince us all that you were the right person for the job, and you know what the crazies part of all of this is?"

Vincent waited for her to look at him, and when she did, he could see just a flicker of curiosity behind those dark orbs, "I've never, not even now, regretted hiring you."

"Akira!!"Estelle cried, running infront of Akira, glaring daggers at her, "Stop this!! This isn't you, stop trying to hurt everyone! Look! " she cried, pointing to Oliver, "Oliver needs you right now! If you don't help him, he'll die! Do you want that?! I thought he was like little brother to you!? People don't let their little brothers die!" Estelle cried, her cheeks growing red from yelling."So snap out of it already!!" Estelle cried.

"Listen to them, Akira." The strained voice came from Jun, one hand clasped to his side as he stepped heavily in their direction. Just behind lay the unconscious body of the cloaked man who had tried to stop him earlier, face down and still. A fresh welt was pressed beneath the shade's bottom lip, his once pristine shirt now stained from his skirmish moments ago. "This isn't," he took a labored breath and clenched his teeth, "this isn't you at all. Alexander and Luke are fighting to save you, just as we are. Listen to us!"

Akira's eyes widened when Vincent started speaking a bit of life entered her eyes when he mentioned the kids. She was curious where he was going with all of this. Her bow fell to the ground, She listened to Jun and Estelle she wanted to say they were lieing but she couldn't why would they be trying this hard if they were lieing. She looked conflicted 'Right now what matters is Oliver..Oliver needs me.'

-----

Shadae scowled she could feel Akira breaking away from her spell. She missed an incoming attack and a sword sliced at her arm making a deep cut making it difficult for her to use her scythe. She hissed and dissapeared in a bunch of butterflies having teleported back to the forest she was hiding in to see what was going on.

-----

Akira moved towards Oliver when the two remaining minions blocked her way. "Get out of my way" she growled out.

The two glared "You are being led by them to be weak again!" Akira scowled "Do you want to die?

The two still didn't move Akira glared and moved quickly they blocked the two swords she formed, she kicked the one in the stomach sending him off balance slicing through him with her sword making a deep and fatal cut before she used both swords to disarm the other. He backed away from her tripping on a rock falling unto his back. Crystal crawled up his legs starting to cover him, he started screaming and Akira watched her eyes cold.

Soon the screaming stopped the one minion now completely covered tightly suffocating. Akira walked over to Oliver letting her swords drop into the ground. She knelt beside him checking him over doing what she could to help him. Her eyes turned to the others her gaze was still cold but there was a lot more life in it. "One of you go to the castle and get a physician quick!" she commanded cradling Oliver's head in her lap.

Raya gawked before rushing over to Oliver and Akira, grabbing Oliver's hand and throwing every single ounce of power into healing him it didn't do much since no one had ever taught her how to heal. A white glow spindled around her fingers then poured itself on Oliver's wounds, she managed to heal them to the point that it would get rid of any infection and clot any cuts, also managing to heal the smaller things, before the glow pulled back and disappeared. She frowned but knew that it would at least help, "I can't do anymore." she whispered, "I don't know how." after pulling her hand back she darted threw the castle, finding the physician and dragged him back with her speed and placed him infront of Akira and Oliver before rushing over to Jun who also seemed hurt, "Are you okay?!" she asked in a panicked tone. She didn't like it, so many people where injured and she couldn't do anything about it.

Before Raya could touch him, he held a hand up between them in caution. "Don't," he said, "my blood has a habit of eating through things." To demonstrate Jun brought a hand to his mouth, coming away bloodied, and bent, grimacing, to stroke the grass. Beneath his fingers the evergreen shoots began to simmer and Jun raised his eyes to Raya with a weary smile. "It would be a shame to spoil your dress," Jun admitted, "and you would have to accompany me shopping once more."

Straightening only to lean most of his weight against a nearby willow, he forced himself to remain standing while beckoning in the direction of the others. "I'll be fine," he promised. Knowing Raya would most likely argue his point, Jun distracted her with other matters. "Has Akira calmed down by now? And Oliver?"

The physician worked on Oliver using everything he had to help telling Akira it'd be fine. When he was sure Oliver would make it Akira stood and walked over to her parent's corpses. She stood there just staring at them not moving or anything. After awhile she walked over to the necklace picking up the picture that was in it before kneeling beside her mother her hands shaking as she smoothed out the picture of her as a baby in her mothers arms with her father by their side. She gently tucked it into her mothers hand "I'll make you a new necklace mom. Okay? Th..the picture is alright so don't be sad okay?" her voice shook as she held her mothers hand staring at her face. She sighed and went and kneeled next to her father inspecting him and seeing his broken arm from Shadae stepping on him. She cringed seeing it turning her head away hand on her mouth trying not to cry at what was done. She pulled out her handkerchief and started wiping the dirt off their faces.

As she wiped their faces she noticed droplets of what looked like water falling onto their faces she looked up at the sky wondering if it was raining to see no clouds in the sky. Confusion appeared on her face until she realized she was crying, she furiously wiped at her eyes with her sleeve continuing to wipe her parent's faces of dirt. It was really bothering her that her fathers arm was broken so she stood and tore off a large strip of her dress making a sling for his arm and a wrap fixing it up for him struggling but managing to get him into a sitting position then when done layed him back down sniffling. "There you go dad, good as new y..yeah?"

By now she still wasn't back to normal her appearance hadn't changed. Though her eyes had life in them again. "I look like a mess don't I mother? Father? But I..I had been pretty earlier. T..the tree it approved my marriage to Alex" she wiped at her eyes again as she spoke to them holding both their hands. Her grip on their hands tightened as she looked at their unmoving faces unmoving chests and holding their cold limp hands. She bowed her head her forehead touching their hands as tears silently streamed down her face her shoulders shaking. she whispered "I'm sorry, mom, dad. I'm so sorry."

Raya frowned, then stared in awe at the simmering grass, whipping her head back up when she heard Jun talk again, "and this dress is already ruined." she said, pointing at her side where her own blood had decided to pool through, "Twinzies!" she joked then went to help him gain his balance before she ripped her hand back, "Just try not to fall over." she said, not up for arguing at the moment. She looked over her shoulder at Akira and took in a sharp breath, her face taking a look of sorrow. She knew exactly what it was like to lose her parents, "Akira is normal but I'm worried.. her parents died too." she whispered then swallowed her nerves and looked at Oliver, "He'll live, probably won't feel great for awhile though." she stated then looked back at Jun, "Your absolutely positively sure your okay?" she asked, "I won't stop bugging you unless I'm sure you won't die." she said, the last part coming out in a more playful manner.

Vincent walked slowly up behind his sobbing friend. Slowly, as not to startle her, he put a hand on her shoulder. "You should have someone bring them back to their graves," He told her softly, his eyes filled with sympathy, "It does not do well to weep tears of guilt for those already passed on, and I'm sure their souls will rest easier, once their bodies are."

The demon sighed, crouching down next to her, reaching out to wipe a stray tear off her pale cheek, the runes now prominent on her skin standing out much more than they had, due to her ashed face. "Are you back with us, moodring?" He smiled softly, searching her eyes for any sign of the corruption.

Akira nodded her head. "I'm back. I know I should have them taken back to their..." she cleared her throat unable to say 'graves' "I don't want to leave them though. If I leave what if Shadae takes them?" She still was tightly holding their hands not wanting to let go for even a second. Akira stared at the two of them "I just..I wish... I wish they had stayed with me or..that I had gone with them. I don't even know what I'm doing anymore Vincent, I don't think I can do any of this. I'm just always wondering always worried I'll disappoint them somehow. I keep worrying that I'll mess up. Because I lost them thousands of lifes are in my hands. Look what happened to just a handful in one day!" she motioned to all the dead guards sadness in her eyes "They had familys and now they are all... How.. How am I supposed to protect and guide thousands when I couldn't prevent a handful of guards from..." she couldn't manage to say the words dead or dieing. It was just too much for her. She hated death shes always hated death it only makes people sad and ends life too quickly for others. It tears loved ones from each other. "I just..I keep hoping one day I'll wake up and they'll be back. I just want them back..I need them back. I can't do any of this on my own. I know...they'll never come back. Just seeing them like this though they look like they are just sleeping and its so..so cruel" her voice shook and cracked on the last couple of words. @Cryobionic

"There is no spell, no incantation and no curse that can bring back those passed away," Vincent told her softly, choosing his words carefully as not to upset the princess any further, "However, even if they will never wake up, and never come back, they will never disappear."

The demon placed a hand over her cheek, watching as the runes on her skin started to fade away slowly, becoming just faint markings and loosing their stark contrast to her white skin, "Because everything you do, and every action you chose to take have been influenced by them in some way. You will remember them in the words you say, the way you carry yourself and most importantly," He paused, giving her a soft smile,

"You will remember their smiles and the lessons they thought you, the love they gave you. It is all stored right here," He tapped her temple, then her heart, "And those memories are something Shadae will never be able to erase."

Akira smiled slightly at Vincent's words as the black faded from her hair and wings, her skin going back to its normal color, her eyes glow dimming until its gone and the runes dissapearing.

She wrapped her arms around Vincent in a hug "You're right Vincent, Thank you" 'That's right, I can't keep mourning like this. They will always be with me and I know they wouldn't want me to be like this. They'd want me to smile and be happy. I..think its time I let them go'

Alexander and Luke finally came back dragging in the Advisor. "We never finished getting Married Akira." Alexander called out, Akira took one last look at her parents bodies she bowed to her own parents corpses "Mother, Father. Thank you for everything, I love you both." she smiled looking at each of her friends "It'll take time but, I know I'll heal. I got others looking out for me now." She turned back to the bodies "I'll do my best, I promise I'll never give up! I will not let this kingdom fall." the great tree started to glow her parents bodies lifted up into the air "I think, I can let you go now" her parents bodies started to dissapear lights coming off them and falling into the earth. The picture in her mothers hand fell bursting into a shower of lights on Akira and she felt what her parents felt in that memory. She smiled brightly even with tears coming down her face.

"Just you watch me Mother, Father. Where ever you are, I will make you proud." she stood up straight watching the last of her parents dissapear.

Alexander smiled as he walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her shoulders "Akira you finally let them go, they are finally part of the earth just like their ancestors, They'll live on forever watching over every fairy in the kingdom." Akira nodded "Lets finish this wedding shall we? Fathers last wish was that I marry you after all" she giggled. Alexander smiled "Oh is that the only reason, maybe I don't want to marry you then." Akira smiled "No that's not the only reason. I love you Alex. Don't let it go to your head though."

She sighed still sad but she had finally let go, she let her parents pass. It'd still hurt and she knew it however. Now she could begin to heal. She was done mourning, she was done living in the past now, now she was going to live in the present, she'd live for the future. She'd protect and lead this kingdom with everything she has.

After the royals came back they continued the wedding. More of the Fae tongue was spoken and then there was a marking on Akira's wrist the mark of Alexander's kingdom, On Alexander's wrist was the Mark of Akira's. As soon as they were bound they were now officially married. After the ceremony was done they went back in multiple carriages to the castle to celebrate. Akira waved happily to her people as they moved by the Carriage slowed down that she was in when a little girl walked up handing her a flower before running back to her mother. Akira smiled slightly sadly. But there was a happiness as she knew her mother would watch over her as she forged her own destiny her own path.

Once they reached the castle they went to the ballroom the one place Akira hadn't been able to step into ever since her 17th birthday. Instead of crying, breaking down like she did before she smiled and walked in her eyes never once trailing to the spot that if you looked close enough still had a slight bit of red stained on it. She kept her head held high and enjoyed the celebration.

She and Alexander took the first dance gliding across the ballroom Even in her tattered and dirty wedding dress she still was the most beautiful person in the room to Alexander. Soon after others joined in and it changed from simple ballroom to a mix of ballroom and ballet. Akira's face was lit brightly with a wide smile as she danced,

Ase finished up the last of her paper work and was finally back up to date with it thanks to Excalibur. she smiled as she filed the last sheet and locked the Cabinet , now maybe Marie and her could go house hunting. she rested Excalibur on the desk before leaving for the gates. When she reached the house she took to the armchair and turned on the television thinking that the two witches were of at the wedding. she yawned and eventually wandered off to sleep.

Serathi looked up when she heard someone knock on her chamber door, placing down the flute of champagne she had been sipping while watching Quincy attack off the soldiers who had tried him. "My lady, someone is here to see you," the maid whimpered nervously, curtsying so she never looked her lady in the eyes. " Oh? Vahl isn't back from his little adventure yet," she murmured to herself, turning to face the maid, "Who is it?" she demanded, causing the mad to flinch, "A-A dark fae, m'lady, s-she wishes to form a alliance with you," she whimpered. Serathi's eyes narrowed as a cruel smile spread across her face,"Interesting, get Quincy from his fun and tell him to meet me in the parlor, and bring the dark fae their too," Serathi ordered, walking towards the parlor as the maid curtsied again. "Yes, m'lady," she whimpered, going of to do as she was ordered.

"Itsy bitsy spider..." Quincy skipped along the corridors, his bucket of pets swinging from his hand. The goblin Dan had lasted surprisingly long, but now he was broken and boring. And usueless. The nightmare pursed his lips in an expression resembling that of annoyance, really, he had expected the dark lady's playthings to last much longer than that, and the fact that they didn't was... disappointing.

The nightmare turned a corner, continuing his cheerful humming of the old nursery rhyme, when he suddenly crashed right into something soft, and warm. The bucket flew out of his hands, colliding with the wall and sending the spiders scurrying every which way. A girlish, high pitched scream followed suit as Quincy looked up a little shocked, to see one of the dark lady's maids, wide eyed and shaking as she tried to step on the small spiders crawling towards her.

"It took me a long time to find all of those, you know." He told her conversationally, sighing over the loss of his pets.

Her eyes snapped up to meet his, and even though he didn't think it possible, her skin paled just a tad more, "T-The Dark L-Lady has requested your... presence in t-the parlor!" The girl stuttered out, letting loose a high pitched whine as the spiders started to crawl up her legs. Quincy raised an eyebrow, tilting his head curiously, before grinning.

"Understood!" He chirped happily, starting to skip away. Before he turned the next corner, though, he tilted his body backwards to stare at her, "Those spiders..." He purred, letting the top of his head touch the stone floor, "they're poisonous, by the way." He called out with a giggle, before disappearing from sight.

"Remind me to never put a bow in Akira's hands again," Ellie laughed, touching her band aid covered cheek gently. She, Vinny and Estelle were currently sitting at one of the many tables set up around the ballroom. Estelle was fast asleep, her head resting on the table as she snored softly, Ellie eyes went to the happy couple, smiling at Akira who had the brightest smile on her face.

Shadae sighed she had been wandering the halls tired of waiting when she seen a pathetic maid freaking out over spiders she helped the maid out and then was led to the Parlor to meet Serathi. She raised an eyebrow at the two in the room addressing the woman "You are Serathi correct?" @Elfia Nightwing

-----

Akira and Alexander stopped dancing and Akira rushed over to the others. She noticed Estelle sleeping "Its getting pretty late isn't it?" she spoke softly "You all will end up having to stay the night. Estelle seems way too tired to walk out on her own two feet and you don't have enough time before we close the portals down like every night. All the royals can get back to their kingdoms with their kingdoms keys but you guys don't have a key for the cafe now do you? Keys from our kingdom won't work to leave because its our portals that are shut down. Keys linked to other kingdom portals work though." She smiled "Also Ellie, Are you okay?"

"Yes, and you would do well to address me as 'My lady' or 'Dark lady' from now on...or I'll make that cut on your arm appear like a broken nail,"Serathi glared, sitting on a blush armchair, her red eyes narrowing slightly at the fae. "One of my servants have told me you wish to form a alliance, but why should I? I don't have to time or the patience to deal with uncultured fae who dabble in powers to great for them and think they can own the world,"Serathi glared, holding out a empty glass, as a servant came up to her, filling it with a dark amber color.

"Hmm..That is a problem, I guess if you don't mind the trouble,"Ellie smiled kindly, "And I'm fine don't worry about it,"Ellie giggled, her eyes going a bit soft, "More importantly, are you ok Akira? You've been through a lot today,"

Shadae raised an eyebrow "You'd have access to many more troops with this alliance, troops who are good at being sneaky at being scouts or spies. They can easily disguise themselves or creations to make them look like someone or something else. Such as, you need someone to scout out an area, they could make a bird and no one would be the wiser. Plus you and I do have a mutual goal do we not? You wish to destroy the people at the cafe don't you? Atleast some of them correct? I wish to see them all fall, the only thing I ask for should we make and Alliance is the two fairys. Unfortunetly the male fairy cannot be killed or I'd lose the female and I need that female. I couldn't care less about the male as long as he doesn't die. We are good at gathering information aswell, we have many sources. Its how I found you. You are well known but most the people I asked didn't know where you even were. My people and I, we've created LIFE in the past. That female fairy is living proof of what the dark arts can do."

----

Akira smiled at Ellie "Yeah, It'll take awhile but I'll be fine. Now I cannot dwell on any of my problems, for right now its a joyous time and after all of this is over I shall have to resume my duties as princess and prepare myself for when I become Queen. I can't let my parents down. I'm sad but that'll fade in time, I know I'll never stop missing them but the pain from missing them will lessen. I may be sad but I'm also happy because my parents can rest in peace now. I've finally been able to let go thanks to you guys. They don't have to worry about me anymore."

@Elfia Nightwing

Ellie smiled at Akira, "That's good, just remember were always here if you need anything Akira,"Ellie smiled, looking up as she heard a crow cawing. At it's neck it seemed to be wearing a necklace made of silver that was of a crescent moon with a spell book, "That's a messenger bird for the Coven, what's it doing here?" Ellie wondered as the crown came to land at her table. Once there it dropped the envelope it had been carrying before flying of back to it's home. It was addressed to everyone at cafe, but specifically Ellie."That's Madame Bernet's handwriting," she thought out loud.

"I spare no lifes," Serathi glared, spilling her drink, " Spies can bought, and information can be tortured out, your creation of life could be useful but I do not see it being worth the risk off sparing two life's," she thought out loud, swirling the liquid around in it's glass, "What do you think Quincy?" Serathi asked, her red eyes glancing up at the nightmare.

"Fairies..." Quincy murmured from his corner, not looking up from his hands, which were occupied with a spiderweb still stuck to his fingers, "So pure and so delicate... with their darling little wings..." The nightmare tore the web apart, it's thin strands shredding easily before he leaned back and promptly slid of his seat, landing on the floor with a thump, watching the dark fae up side down with a grin, "So aggressive too, apparently. Tell me, doll, what do you wish to do, once you have these two... fairies in your possession? What is your end goal?" He asked curiously, kicking his feet in the air.

@RegalWindstar

....

Vincent blinked tiredly as the crow landed, looking over at Ellie with a small smile, "Is it?" He murmured, leaning over to inspect it further, "What's it say?"

Ellie cleared her throat before beginning to read the letter,

My dearest Ellinor,

First, I would like to give my congratulations to you friends, Akira and Alexander in their marriage, which is amazing thing in this world were death is everyday occurrence that two souls may find themselves the two half's of each other as they have. But that is not the reason I am writing this letter to you, I must ask that you and your friends come to Paris as soon as possible. The Council of Three of discovered your connection to the Forgotten Lady and wish to meet you, and verify that you are who you say you are.

Now I can imagine at this part in my letter, poor Vincent is probably wonder who the Council is, in layman's terms, they are the only people above me in the council. They have been alive since before Meredith's time, and have protected all of the witches around the world since the Covens creation, they are the founders of the Coven. Them wanting to meet Ellinor can either be extremely prosperous in your resistance or lead to it's down fall. If they believe that Ellinor is lying about who she is, they will not hesitate to kill her on the spot.

The second reason of why I want you to came to Paris is to retrieve Maria. She has come back to Paris after strict orders not to, you see during her studies, she made many powerful in Paris, ones that would love to torture her and hang her dead body on the Eiffel tower for the whole world to see. She must learn to stop running away when her temper flares up, and to stand by her decisions, like marrying that angel, and raising they child together.

I hope to see you all soon, and that Hecete's light continues to light your path.

Sincerely,

Sofia Bernet.

Ellie looked, up from the letter, her hands shaking violently, "T-t-th-the council...wishes to speak to me?..." she whimpered, her face ghastly pale.

Shadae smiled "I just would have to keep the male locked up until I could break the bond without killing the female then you could do whatever you wanted with him but the female, The female shes influential, her kingdom has many allies, allies that would be swayed by her to our side. Shes powerful too shes already half corrupted. If it wasn't for that trash from the cafe I would have had her!" she hissed "She has so many fears and insecurities if she was in my grasp long enough I could turn her into a weapon a puppet! We'd have so much more control, power! I'd finally get my revenge on that dead king and those cafe brats. They took her from me when she was rightfully my daughter, I created her!" Shadae realized she was getting worked up and calmed down "I apologize, I'm just very...Passionate"

She cleared her throat "The others from the cafe also have a hard time fighting against her their feelings of friendship make them weak. She even injured that witch that is with the demon. Not bad however, I didn't have her long enough their words shook her up. If I had her longer though she could most likely kill them." she smirked "The male fairy isn't really a threat he himself has practiced the dark arts and became corrupted, he could become an ally too if you wished. He'd be easier to convert than the girl. Those weaklings have grown attached to both the fairies. it'd hurt them so much to have the fairies turn on them." her face and words held cruelty as she spoke

-------

Akira nodded she froze when she heard a voice in her head. 'You can't trust them. They only comforted you this time because you were going to kill them, they comforted you because they were afraid because you were a threat.' Akira was a bit frightened by it because it wasn't Shadae it was herself, it was the darker corrupted part of her. She knew she'd have to keep that a secret 'They might get rid of me if they knew, but this is worrying I'll have to do some research.' "Yeah okay Ellie." she forced a smile watching the crow waiting to hear what the letter said.

@Elfia Nightwing (Well, what Shadae did has now woken another Akira in Akira. Great now Akira has an annoying in head companion. *thumbs up* Now she'll look like a crazy person who argues with herself sometimes :P )

"Interesting....And your sure you can sway the girl under your control?" Serathi asked, a slight look of amusement as her face as she smirked at the fairy.
